Sorry I couldn't write during the week, you all know how school is! And the amount of homework you get for triple science and photography is massive! I didn't have time to write a thing.
This is David and Gillian- in one of Daybreaks headquarters. Ash and Mary Lynette will also be in most of this. Its written after Dark Angel (obviously) and also after all the Wild Power ones (except strange fate – its not out yet ) Night world v Daybreak.
Disclaimer: All credit to Night world goes to L.J. Smith. All credit to this story goes to ME! Whahahaha!
Gillian's POV
"AHH! Ash, crap!"
'Huh? What!' The blond head swivelled in my direction before I could turn and, preferably, run. 'Are you an ex girlfriend?' he said his face extremely worried,
'WHAT? No!' he relaxed and his face slid into a smile.
'I thought I heard you say my name sorry, a few bad run ins recently with ex's.' I decided to back off and leave 'Hang on, don't I know you from somewhere?' shit!
'Ummmm…..'
'Yeah I do, you're that girl pretending to be a witch at the black iris. Why I forgot such a gorgeous girl like you I have no idea.' He was smiling now and trying to be charming; he was very good at it. David scowled at ash when the gorgeous comment came up.
'I AM a witch!' I snapped holding out my hand as orange witch fire lit it, it was only small but David jumped,
'It's a little freaky when you do that, babe.' He grinned sheepishly at me. Ash was still sceptical.
'I'm, or was anyway, a lost witch, apparently my whole family is my mum, her mum, her mum, all the way up to great grandma Elspeth apparently although how she's a witch I have no idea, seriously though! We have a picture of her on the stairs back at home, she has tweed shoes! Tweed! Not to mention I didn't even want to GO in the black iris but Angel, Garry, I mean Garry he MADE me! I didn't know what I was doing! And-'
'You're babbling again babe'
'Huh? Oh, sorry'
'What?' ash was now staring at me like I was a complete weirdo. So I explained just about every thing. with David only having to remind me I was babbling three times. By the end of it Ash was looking very sympathetic whether this was due to him thinking I was mental or him just being nice I don't know. A girl ran up smiling.
'Hey, this is…..' Ash turned to look at me with a look of complete confusion.
'Ash! You need to ask people there names before just talking to them you know.' She scalded but you could see her affection for him, 'I'm Mary-Lynette.'
We spent hours talking to Ash and Mary-Lynette before we finally went away from Daybreak and got to home; well my home anyway. I sat curled up on the sofa with David laughing and talking about the day. Everything was perfect until the window shattered and vampires and shifters jumped into the house, I tried to defend us my throwing the witch fire I had learned at them, as my anger grew all the windows and mirrors in the house smashed; this distracted them long enough for us to run but they caught us up I felt David's pain as they grabbed him, then I felt a hand on my neck; he was going to snap it. I screamed and woke up.
'Gillian? What's wrong?' David asked worried.
'We have to get out of the house. NOW! Ill get my parents out, call daybreak.' I said running upstairs, I needn't have bothered, my mum was all ready running down and dragging my father with her. My father was trying to soothe her thinking she was having one of her weird moments despite her not having one since Christmas when I told her she was a witch. We ran outside.
'There coming for us aren't they?' David asked,
'Yes, there trying to get anyone on Daybreak but especially those who found they're soul mate; they think that if there aren't any soul mates then there's no proof that what daybreak is doing is right and they're will be no motivation for anyone else.' We ran to the car and jumped in as I started driving, I decided to tell dad about Daybreak since he already thought his whole family was mental or something, after all he had just been woken up at one in the morning, dragged downstairs and into the car, in pj's while the rest of us looked over our shoulders like someone was following us, I was about to speak when my dad did instead,
'What was David doing in the house at this time of the night?'
I laughed, I couldn't help it.
