Okay guys, so the emotional stuff is about to begin and there will be a lot of content with Yan in the next chapter.
*Feilong Liu*
I sighed as I sat down at the kitchen table with Akihito. Mikhail and Asami were both going to be gone for two weeks leaving Akihito and I alone in the apartment. Mikhail was going back to Russia to deal with some business he had there and Ryuichi was in Italy talking to a few Mafia Organizations there about establishing weapon and drug smuggling routes. I had thought about going back to Hong Kong for the two weeks that they were going to be gone but I decided not to. The Baishe was currently in a bad situation, half of the members returning to supporting Yan and the other half remaining by my side. If I went back to Hong Kong now then I would probably be targeted by Yan's men and that was a situation I did not care to be in.
It didnt take long for Aki and I to finish breakfast and once we did Akihito headed out to do some photoshoots. I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. I didnt feel like going to work today, it felt like lately work was constantly; Yan did this, Yan did that, Yan took over this route, Yan took over that route, and it was starting to get on my nerves. Because of this I decided to take one week off so that I could just relax and de-stress a bit. The only thing that I had to do was go and check up on things at club Sion every other night. I pulled myself up from the couch then went and ran myself a bath. Once it was done I stripped and layed down in the hot water, feeling completely and utterly relaxed. My mind flashed to Ryuichi. He had left last night but already I missed him.
I had grown attached to him even though I had told myself not to. I knew feeling such an attachment towards him would only make things harder for me but still I felt this attachment still I felt this love. I knew Yan would use it against me but I still couldnt stop this. I couldnt stop myself from loving Ryuichi. He was the only thing in this world that I wanted. The only thing I had ever desired enough to kill my own family over. I sighed. There was no point in having such emotions. I was almost positive that Asami was simply using me for his own enjoyment, It wasnt like I actually meant something to him. I was just his toy. A tear rolled down my cheek and I gasped. Was I... crying? More tears rolled down my cheeks and I wiped them away. I wanted something more, I wanted to know that I was loved. I wanted HIM to love me, not that he ever would.
'Im sure there are countless men who know your true worth.'
Was he one of those men? What did he think of me? Did he think that I was nothing more than his toy, or was I something more to him? Did he care for me? Did he love me?
'Why did you protect me?'
'Who knows... maybe im doing this for money as well.'
No. He hadnt done it for money... But what had he done it for? Why had he protected me? Why had he shielded me with his own body? I didnt understand.
'Dont you have someone that you can trust? Having someone support you out of a sense of duty may not be worth much but...'
Having someone support me out of a sense of duty... Had he protected me because he felt it was his duty to? Could I trust him? Yes. I could. If I couldnt trust him then he would have killed me in my sleep by now. Unless... Unless he was keeping me around to amuse him.
'Well anyway I've got my own personal tastes so dont worry.'
He said that as if I wasnt his type and yet here we were in an intimate relationship eight years later. Or maybe it was that I had changed into the kind of person he liked...
'Crying wont solve the problem.'
Maybe not but I couldnt help it. In such situations I couldnt help but cry...
'I have no intention of driving you into a corner.'
But didnt he anyway? He may not have then but now I was stuck in a corner with no where else to turn, for Yan would kill me the moment I left Asami's side.
'I dont want to shoot you. Put your gun down.'
For so long I had believed he had made me lower that gun so that Tou could kill me... but I was wrong. He didnt want me to be hurt... or did he?
'Dont die.'
Dont die? Why not? Wouldnt dying have made my life so much easier? I wouldnt have had to live through all those things that caused me pain. I could have simply been buried in a cemetery somewhere with a tombstone that stated my birth and death and some meaningless, trivial fact about me that probably wasnt even true.
"But the scar remains. Like an injury that will never dissapear, he will never dissapear from my heart." I stated. It was then that the phone rang from the counter. I got out of the tub and dried my hands before answering. "Hello?"
"I need you to do me a favor Fei." Asami stated and I rolled my eyes.
"Wow, that's definitely the best way to start off a conversation, no hello or how are you, no I miss you?"
"Hi Fei, how are you? It's been seventeen hours since I last saw you and I miss you greatly. There happy?" I let out a small huff of frustration.
"Whatever, what do you want?" I asked.
"In the top drawer of my filing cabinet there is a disk in one of the folders labeled Italian Route, I need you to get that disk and send me the information from it." I sighed.
"Fine but can you give me like twenty minutes, I just got out of the bath so I am still soaking wet." Asami chuckled from the other side of the phone and I blinked in surprise. "What are you laughing at?" I asked.
"Are you laying there all helpless and soaking wet without me." My face went red.
"I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT YOU PERVERT!" I exclaimed angrily. "Now if you will excuse me I am going to dry off, and if you make one more dirty comment then I am not sending you your bloody information." Ryuichi sighed.
"Fine then, my cute little stick in the mud. I will call you again tommorow, goodbye Feilong."
"Bye." I then hung up and put the phone down on the counter. He was always such a smartass. I tied my hair up into a ponytail and quickly dried myself off. I then noticed that my bathrobe wasnt in here, only Asami's. I sighed then grabbed his and slid it on, tying it before I walked from the bathroom. The sleeves were a little bit too long but I didnt really mind, and I had to say that I was fond of the fact that it smelled like him because it made me feel relaxed. I went to his filing cabinet and quickly found the disk then walked to my room and sat down at my computor desk. I put the disk into my lap top and once I had extracted the files from the disk I sent them to Asami then removed the disk from my computor, put it back in the filing cabinet and locked it. I then sat back down on the couch and put on a movie on Netflix. I had lots of time to waste so it didnt really matter what I did.
*Akihito Takaba*
I glanced down at my phone as I walked in the apartment. It was eleven at night. I would have gotten back earlier if Mitarai hadnt insisted on me joining him to try and get pictures of the "giant spider monster" that was supposedly haunting down town Tokyo, which really just turned out to be a dog with two pool noodles stuck to the velcro of it's harness.
I discarded my shoes at the door as well as my jacket then walked in to see that the TV was on and Fei was fast asleep on the couch in Asami's bathrobe. I sighed, he was going to get a cold if he slept like that. I went and grabbed a blanket and layed it over Fei before going into the pantry and grabbing myself a bowl of ramen, not feeling like making my own food. I quickly ate my food and then headed to go to my room, turning off the lights and the TV, leaving the lamp on the side table beside the couch on for Fei. It was then that I heard Feilong shift and I looked over as he shiftedonto his side.
"Ryuichi..." He murmured in his sleep. Did he miss Asami already? He must have or he wouldnt be mumbling his name in his sleep. I sighed for what felt like the thousandth time today then headed to my room to go to sleep.
*The Next Morning, Feilong Liu*
My eyes flickered open and I realized that I was asleep on the couch with a blanket over top of me. I sat up and looked to the door. Akihito's shoes were at the door and considering the fact that he wasnt out here and I couldnt hear the shower running I had to assume that he was still asleep. I sighed then pulled myself up from the couch and headed to my bedroom. I took my hair out of it's ponytail then brushed it out before braiding it. I got dressed into a pair of jeans and a white T-Shirt then pulled on a thin long sleeve sweater that went down a little past my hips, the sleeves going down to the middle of my hand. I then took Asami's bathrobe back to the bathroom and hung it on the back of the door. I then headed to the front door. I put on a pair of black boots that went about half way up my calves then tied them. I shoved my phone into one pocket and my wallet into the other then walked from the apartment. I went to a small cafe right in the heart of Tokyo and got a table. I ordered a french vanilla coffee and waited. It was then that I heard some girls giggling and I looked over to see the girls at the table across from me giggling and talking quietly, glancing over at me. I sighed and looked away just as my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out of my pocket and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hi Feilong, so how was your night? Lonely I assume." I smirked.
"No actually, it was glorious, I got to sit around, watch movies eat snacks, do whatever I wanted and not have to deal with dumb and dumber." Asami chuckled.
"Oh really?" He asked in a tone of voice that told me he was about to say something perverted. "So you werent lonely without me there to make love to you all night?" I blushed ever so slightly.
"Oh shut up. I was perfectly fine for your information. I fell asleep on the couch while watching a movie, and I didnt do what you are fantasizing about."
"Really, so tell me Fei, exactly what did you think I was fantasizing about?" I went to say it then stopped, realizing that I was still in a public place.
"I am not saying."
"Why not?"
"Because I am in a public place."
"Oh, are you out buying..." I cut him off.
"No, I am not. For your information I am at Sakura Cafe getting some coffee, nothing more, nothing less." I stated with a small huff of frustration. "So how did things go yesterday?" I asked.
"Good, it's looking like things are going to go a bit easier than I expected and if they keep going this well then I might end up being able to come home a week early." I smiled.
"Really?"
"Yep. I proposed the route, did a little bit of persuading and managed to quite easily get them on board with it. Now we just need to talk a few more things over, decide what to do about a few people who may hinder our route and then I need to get them to sign off on everything."
"Is Yan one of the people who will hinder your route?" I asked.
"Most likely, lately Yan has been hindering everything that I do, he already shut down my American drug smuggling route and it's looking like he may end up shutting down my Canadian smuggling route soon as well." A girl then placed my coffee down in front of me and I nodded my thanks.
"Well I certainly wouldnt mind if you got rid of him, he has been causing quite the disturbance in Hong Kong lately, I would actually benefit from it quite a lot if you got rid of him." Asami chuckled.
"Well even if I dont need to dispose of him for the route, I wouldnt mind killing him for you." I rolled my eyes and laughed softly.
"Aww how sweet." I stated then took a sip of my coffee.
"What can I say, Im a romantic." He stated with a chuckle and I laughed again. I then heard someone speaking in Italian from the other side of the phone and I heard Ryuichi reply in Italian. "Alright Fei, I have to go. I will talk to you later."
"Okay, bye." I stated as Asami hung up. I pulled my phone away from my ear and looked down at it, then pressing the button to hang up. It then took me back to my main screen where I had a picture of Asami and I that Mikhail had taken while we were all in Bali. It was a picture of us sitting on the couch together asleep, Asami sitting with his arms around my waist, and his head rested against mine while I was curled up in his lap with my head rested against his, holding his arm. I sighed then put my phone down. I finished my coffee then payed my bill and headed out of the cafe. I then wasted my day around Tokyo, shopping for things that we needed and things that I wanted, letting them pile up in my vehicle, Yoh carrying everything for me. Once I was done shopping we dropped everything off at the apartment and I changed into a suit before we headed out to an expensive restaurante so I could have dinner and once I was done we headed to Club Sion. I walked into the club with Yoh behind me and a few peole looked at me. One of the men who worked here walked over and bowed his head.
"Hello Feilong-Sama, I am Kohaku, the Club Sion supervisor. Asami-Sama informed me that you would be stopping by to check on Club Sion while he was gone." He then stood straight and I sighed.
"Yes, so is everything going alright in here?" I asked.
"For the most part yes, although there was a small disturbance in the VIP Room."
"What kind of disturbance?"
"Im not exactly..." I cut him off.
"If you dont know then find out." I stated coldly. He bowed his head then scurried away. A few women then walked over and bowed their heads.
"Hello, who might you be?" One asked.
"Feilong Liu." I stated simply.
"So who introduced you here, Liu-San?" She asked.
"Ryuichi Asami, He is currently out of town so I am here checking up on things for him." They all gasped.
"Oh well you must have a lot of influence if you are here for Asami-Sama."
"Well most of my influence is in Hong Kong but I do have a fair ammount of influence here in Japan, it's really nothing compared to him but I suppose the same can be said when it comes to his influence within Hong Kong." They all giggled.
"It sounds like you two are more of rivals than friends." I faked a laugh.
"Perhaps so, now if you will excuse me." They all bowed their heads as I walked away with Yoh following behind me.
"You were too modest back there Feilong-Sama, you own many hotels and restaurants here in Japan, you dont..." I cut Yoh off.
"Compared to Asami my influence here is minimal." I stated as we walked into the surveilance room. I looked at the surveilance for the VIP room and I could see people trading weapons and drugs. No wonder Asami was careful to not leave this place for so long. Out of all of his clubs this one probably had the most going on in terms of illegal dealings and such. I looked at all of the screens and realized that Kohaku wasnt on any of them. "Yoh, I want you to find out where Kohaku went." He nodded and I looked back at the screens. Other than what was going on in the VIP room there didnt seem to be any other suspicious activities going on. However Kohaku's sudden dissapearance troubled me slightly. It was then that I heard numerous gun shots go off and I gasped. I looked at the screens to see that three people were laying on the ground dead in the VIP room while many more had been shot in the main area of the club. I went to the door just as it opened and Yoh walked in.
"Feilong-Sama, we need to get out of here. It seems that Kohaku was working with Yan and they are attacking the club in the hopes of capturing you." I blinked in surprise. "Now go, to the back door." Yoh hit the alarm then grabbed the gun from his jacket and ran behind me shooting anyone who followed us. So I had been right to be suspicious of Kohaku... Yan... He would go this far just to get his hands on me...? I was brought back to reality when I heard a shot sound from behind me and I heard Yoh let out a small cry of pain and I looked back at him to see him fall to the ground as blood gushed from his wound.
"Yoh..." It was then that a ragg went over my mouth and nose and I was held in place, forced to breath in the scent, passing out soon after.
*Ryuichi Asami*
My eyes flickered open when I heard my phone vibrating and I sat up. I grabbed my phone off the bedside table and I saw an alert on my screen saying that the alarm at Club Sion had gone off. I suddenly felt worried and I called Feilong and got no answer. I called Yoh afterwards and someone picked up.
"Hello?" Asked someone who wasnt Yoh.
"Who is this?" I asked.
"Yuichi Otori from St. Lukes International Hospital in Tokyo. Are you family of the person you are currently calling?"
"No, I am a friend of Yoh's."
"I see, well Yoh is currently in surgery."
"Why?" I asked.
"When the ambulance showed up at Club Sion they found him laying there with two gun shot wounds and found many others dead and injured." I gasped.
"Was there a man among the dead or injured named Feilong Liu?"
"I am not sure but I can check if you will hold on for a second sir."
"Alright." I waited and I could hear him asking someone about it and after a minute he replied.
"No, it seems that no one under that name was found dead or injured." I sighed but another possibility then came to me.
"Did the police find out who was responsible for the shootings?" I inquired.
"It seems it may have been a Chinese Mafia Group."
"Thank you very much for the information." I stated then hung up. I called the apartment and Akihito picked up.
"Hello?"
"Akihito is Feilong in the apartment with you?" I asked urgently.
"No why?"
"Because there was a shooting at Club Sion and Yoh was injured but they didnt find Feilong in there. On top of that Fei isnt picking up his phone." Akihito gasped.
"Asami what are we going to do if we cant find Fei!?" He asked worriedly.
"I will find him." I stated then hung up. It was Yan, I knew it was. Yan had my Fei. He had my lover and the fact that I didnt know what he intended to do to Feilong annoyed me. But I could guarantee that if he what I thought he was going to do then I would kill him.
