Aurora and Drilian walked slowly into the room while the young man held her close. She smiled up at him adoringly, biting down on her lip.
"What exactly are we doing here?" She asked quietly, biting down on her lip. "I mean, why does the Mistress require our help? There's nothing we can really do…"
Drilian gently pecked her cheek, smiling softly. The innocent female amused him quite a bit with all her silly questions and nonsense. If only she knew what she was truly doing there in that moment: breaking down her beloved Prince from the inside out.
"She just needs us to help her with the problem of the wicked Prince, my love. We don't question the Mistress, remember?" He whispered gently.
"A-Aurora?" Phillip rushed forward, trying to pull her into his arms. A hurt look crossed his face as she flinched back from his touch. "Aurora, please. It's me. It's your Phillip, remember? The man you love more than anything…"
Aurora looked at him blankly, pressing close to Drilian's side.
"You are not the man I love. You are the wicked, wicked Prince who tried to steal me away from my beloved when I was only a child. How could I possibly love a man as awful and corrupt as you?" She spit, glaring at Phillip with such disdain.
At that very moment, Phillip's heart broke far more than he ever thought possible. His wife wanted nothing to do with him, and he couldn't understand why. He didn't know how to save her from Maleficent's clutches this time. It was clear that true love was not going to be the answer to get his wife back.
"See, dear Prince?" Maleficent cooed, breaking the delicate silence in the room, "She wants nothing to do with you and she never did. Are you satisfied now?"
Phillip glared up at her, walking close to the witch who has thus far destroyed everything he held near and dear to his heart. He never let her win before, and he wasn't going to do it now. Not when his beloved Aurora needed him more than ever.
"Listen here, you disgusting woman," He sneered, watching her, "I am going to undo whatever enchantment you put on my wife, and then I'm going to come back to you and I'm going to kill you. You will never harm another living being as long as I'm alive, do you hear me?"
Maleficent laughed in amusement, looking to Drilian and Aurora. She was absolutely certain that Phillip would eventually lose hope and be crushed completely. It wasn't a very easy spell to break when true love could not be utilized.
"Come along, my pets. It is clear that the Prince wants nothing to do with us and our kind," Maleficent said calmly, walking swiftly out of the room.
The trio quickly left the apartment, heading off to Maleficent's large mansion hiding off in the woods of Storybrooke. There, Drilian would only ensure that Aurora stayed under their control and not be swayed by her longing to be Phillip's.
Phillip, on the other hand, quickly ran to Granny's, hoping his sister still worked there as a waitress. He opened the door, scanning the small amount of people inside before he spotted her. With an air of desperation around him, he ran to his sister and gently tapped her shoulder.
A young blonde woman turned around, looking at him with soft brown eyes that matched his.
"Phillip? What's wrong? I felt something happen…" She said gently, eyebrows furrowed in concern for her older brother.
"I need your help," He bit his lip, glancing at the silver pendant around her neck, "Glinda."
