Hullo. It's been a while hasn't it? Good luck to everyone who is back in school! Hopefully you all with pass with the grades you want! And those of you working, I hope you all make a lot of mula~. If you're doing both, then both wishes go to you! If you're doing neither, read more fanfics and watch more anime! And let me know if there's a good one! ;P

I decided to make this chappie an Omake, since it's been a while since I wrote one, so here you go! It gets a bit emotional at the end, but good stuff I hope...

One last reminder: Italics are thoughts.

Enjoy~.

Hinata was shacking uncontrollably in her seat. The proctor for this part of the exam was scary...And one of the examiners watching her now seemed to find it amusing how much she was on the verge of a breakdown, if his silent chuckles were anything to go by. How mean...

Why did she have to be so scared...or at least why couldn't she hide her emotions well enough that no one could tell she was scared? Neji looked like he was controlling his emotions just fine...Not even flinching when the proctor snapped at the genin. Her heart just wouldn't stop racing...

"Hey Hinata!" a voice whispered loudly.

Hinata turned her head to the seat next to her. And there was another reason why her heart was racing-though not as unpleasant as the first two reasons...

"Don't worry so much. You'll do fine."

"Yeah! Do your best Hinata!"

She was now currently seated in between her two crushes-Naruto Uzumaki and Haruno Amerante. Kami help her. She was this close to passing out from her blush...again. The pencil continued to shake in her hand. Mou...

"Mm. Th-thank y-you." she whispered.

"Of course."

"No prob!"

Their blinding smiles are what did her in.

She shook so badly that the pencil slid out of her hand and rolled under the chair of the person seated in front of her. Hinata felt all of the blood rush off of her face.

Hinata whimpered.

How was she supposed to do the test now? She hasn't even finished the first problem yet! If she didn't find some way to continue writing, she was going to get her team failed! Stupid! Stupid!

Hinata looked around cautiously trying to see if there was some way she could get her pencil...

"Number 23! You better keep your eyes on your paper!"

"Yes! S-sir!" Hinata stopped moving and stared at her mostly blank paper.

She tried to blink away the water that began to pool in her eyes. This is not going to work. She won't be able to get her pencil...and her team was going to fail because of her.

She duck her head so that no one could see her face.

"I'm sorry Kiba...Shino...this is all my fault! Kami! I'm so weak and useless!"

Hinata's paper got wet with her tears.

She sobbed quietly as she continued to beat herself up mentally.

That's when she got an idea.

She quickly wiped the tears from her eyes and reached under the desk. Her hand went to the weapon pouch strapped to her thigh. She dug through it until she felt the point of one of her weapons.

Hinata held her breath as she slit open the tip of her index finger.

Pulling her hand back out, Hinata looked to see that her finger was steadily oozing out a little bit of blood.

Hinata mentally cheered. With this, she would be able to finish writing the answer to the problem.

She dabbed the paper carefully and saw that although the mark was big, her writing was still eligible. She hummed quietly as she started writing. There. She finished the first problem. Now onto the next one...

She was about halfway through when the blood on her finger stopped flowing. Hinata frowned. The cut she made must have been too shallow...

She repeated the process as she cut her finger on the sharp end of the knife and felt blood begin to trickle once again from her finger.

And once again, she began to write.

This time, Hinata got to the middle of the exam when the blood stopped coming. She huffed. She really didn't want to cut her finger deeper...but this was for her team! The more points she could make for her team, the more likely it would be that they would pass the exam! She was not going to let them down! Not this time!

Determined, she pulled her hand under the desk and was about to reach her pouch when she felt a hand grasp onto hers.

She gasped in surprise and looked up at Haruno, who had a stern look on his face.

"Hinata-sama..." he said silently.

Hinata's gaze fell. How could she tell him that she was dull enough that she lost her pencil? He would laugh at how pathetic she was!

"Please don't hurt yourself anymore."

Hinata looked up at him.

Haruno had a soft smile on his face as he gazed at her. He pulled her hand up and patted it softly.

"I'm sure your team will understand."

Hinata clenched her eyes shut. She didn't want to cry anymore. How would her team understand what had happened? They would probably just sigh and question why they were placed with such a useless girl as a team member.

A hand placed itself on her head and rubbed her hair before it disappeared.

"You did your best Hinata and everyone is proud of you."

Hinata could not stop her tears this time.

All she wanted to hear in her life were those few words. And Haruno gave them to her. All she wanted was someone to praise her, to tell her that she did a good job...someone to tell her that it was not a mistake-that she was not a mistake. She was born for a reason!

"Thank you." she whispered without stuttering this time.

"Kami-sama thank you for letting me meet him!"

"You are amazing Hinata."

"Thank you. Thank you for helping me. For existing-"

"Truly anyone is lucky to be able to know you-"

"-For being there for me. For supporting me-"

"I know this sounds weird, but-"

"-For caring for someone as worthless as me."

"I'm glad you were born Hinata."

"I love you! I love you so much!...I really, really love you..."

Hinata continued to sob as she looked up at Haruno.

Haruno smiled.

Ah. I make things so hard on poor Hina-chan, but I like her really, I promise. I cried as I wrote this, tbh. I am way too sensitive.
