A/N Well guys, here's chapter 7, I'm sorry it took so long, but I finally finished it, and I really didn't want to post this next Friday.

Journal Entry 59 Book 2
I can't believe that after all this time, my teammate appeared at my front door last night. It's been weeks since our research team split up due to an argument over our final goal for this mission. And I hadn't seen my former teammates since.
And now, on this stormy night, I found him carrying his sister, and a random woman, out of the Gravity Falls Forest. It seems that fate has something in store for me. I mean, people don't just leave your life, and then come back without a reason.
I have a feeling that their journey has something to do with the artifacts. Something happened in that forest that led to them being like this. I'll question them about it in the morning. For now, I have to make sure that they're attended to. They're currently cold, battered, and in need of medical attention. I'll provide them with whatever care I can possibly give.
It seems that Alpha has proven himself to be quite the storyteller. I'm proud of him. He has actually learned how to tell a story, a skill that took me years to master. And no, I'm not jealous of him! Even if it sounds like I am.
Now then, Alpha has began to tell the story of the Artifacts. He left off with the fall of the Malefitus. After the fall, three artifacts were lost. The surviving five guardians found the guardian of the Artifact Scepter, who promptly disappeared after giving Urseaus the scepter. And when they returned, the guardians began preparations for battle.
It looks like our second set of main characters need help. What will happen to them? Alpha will tell you through his story. By the way, I have asked him to tell the rest in a different way.
"So guys! What do you think of the story so far?" Alpha excitedly asked the Mystery Crew. And Stan replied, "You're good." While everyone else nodded in agreement.
And so Alpha cheered, before saying, "Great! Ok guys, time to tell the rest of the story." The crew looked at him intently as he continued he story, "So the Constellus spent the next few days preparing for invasion."
"Come on! We have to be ready for war!" The tribe leader screamed from the center of the village. "We don't have much time!"
The artifact guardians were preparing the village for war. And to do this, the first thing they did was evacuate all of those too young or unfit for battle. They sent ten brave men to lead the children and some women away from the camp.
"Together! Seal off the gates!" The tribe leader ordered, and the guardians complied. Using the Artifacts, they were able to seal the village off from the outside world. Protecting the village from destruction.
"Guardians! Prepare yourselves!" The tribe leader cried out, "If they want our weapons, then they'll have to fight us for them!"
In preparation for battle, the guardians stationed themselves outside the sealed off village, with the Constellus soldiers by their side. With defense and offense like this, how could they possibly lose?
Oh how wrong they were.
After a few hours of waiting for their enemy, the sky turned dark, and it started to rain.
Then suddenly, a bolt of lightning streaked across the dark sky. And in the split second of light, the Constellus saw who was invading.
"It can't be them!" The tribe leader called out. And after another bolt of lightning illuminated the sky, he knew.
"It's the shadowites! Fight for your lives men!" And in a desperate attempt to halt the Shadowite advance, the Constellus charged.
In the limited light and constant flashing, the Constellus fought an enemy they could not see. And they failed miserably.
Within minutes, the tribe leader was forced to call retreat. "Regroup in the forest! Fall back!" And after some losses from the Constellus fighting and running, most of the remaining Constellus soldiers managed to make it to the forest.
However, the guardians of the artifacts weren't so lucky. When they tried to escape, three of the Shadowites' best warriors chased after them, and each of them had a Malefitus Artifact.
When Hespestius turned to check their back, he saw the three coming straight at them. And so to protect the tribe leader and the other three guardians he yelled, "Leave me! And I shall hold him off!"
Alone, Hespestius fought as valiantly as he possibly could. Yet, even with the hammer, he unable to fight off the warriors for long. They killed him quickly, and took his artifact.
Hey, at least he was able to buy them some time to escape right? Not even close.
After Hespestius was killed, the three shadowites chased after the remaining four guardians. And after a short chase, they caught up to them.
To protect the artifact scepter and the remaining three guardians, the tribe leader ordered, "Guardians! Escape! Protect the scepter! I'll hold them off." Then, channeling the power of his amulet, he held the three in place.
Yet, not even the magical power of the tribe leader was enough to stop the three warriors for long. After a few seconds, the three shadowites broke free of the amulet's hold, and promptly attacked the tribe leader.
The leader died with the artifact spear jammed through his chest.
The remaining guardians tried to escape, but it was of no use. After the tribe leader was defeated, the three shadowites rushed after them, and easily caputured the three guardians, before knocking them unconscious.
The three guardians woke up hours later, at the feet of the Shadowite tribe leader. They were tied up, at their arms and legs.
The leader wore all nine artifacts, with the arm the gauntlet was attached to holding the artifact Scepter. He wore jet-black armor, that looked as if it were forged from the same meteor the Artifacts came from.
He stared at the three guardians, before saying in a gruff voice, "Finally, after all these years... I have taken the legendary power of the Gravitus! And to think, I had expected them to put up a better fight than that.
His words were like salt in the Guardians' wounds.
Then continuing his rant he said, "And because I'm feeling merciful, I shall grant you one wish."
Urseaus looked at Autumn and Oceania, before answering as defiantly as he possibly could, "We would like to fight for our freedom!"
And so the tribe leader called out, "Men, prepare for Globnar!" Quickly, several men ran over, and untied the guardians, before forming a circle around the four.
Then the leader cried out, "Your wish is granted!" before readying the scepter and the shield.
And to defy him, the three guardians charged head-on at him.
It was an extremely one-side fight.
With the nine artifacts, the tribe leader was virtually undefeatable and was able to bring the guardians down to their knees.
As the tribe leader was about to execute Urseaus; Oceania and Autumn defiantly got up, and tackled him, causing him to drop the sword and scepter.
Before the leader could grab the scepter, Urseaus grabbed his sword, and kicked the scepter away.
Realizing what Urseaus did, the tribe leader cried out, "So that's how you want to play? No matter, you guardians shall die today!" Before drawing the artifact scythe.
The two stood, weapons drawn, before they jumped at each other. The two clashed, sword on scythe.
Yet, eventually, the tribe leader was able to disarm Urseaus and knock him down. Autumn and Oceania tried to tackle him again, but this time, the leader expected them.
He quickly drew the artifact spear, and impaled Autumn, while he backhanded Oceania away, knocking her unconscious.
Now then, watching your friends die fighting to save you is one thing, but watching your twin sister being killed is something different.
Urseaus was ticked off. And so, he rolled out of the leader's way, before dashing to the artifact scepter.
Then, channelling all of his power, he fired a burst of pure energy through the artifact jewel.
Weak and tired from the blast, Urseaus fell to his knees.
Then the smoke cleared, and revealed the tribe leader still alive, and barely injured from the blast. The leader couldn't help but laugh as he said, "Ha! Did you really believe that, that could defeat me? I am now a god! The artifacts have given me powers untold!"
To finish off Urseaus, the leader decided to use the sword, a fitting end he thought. And so, he walked over to the sword, and pulled it from the ground it was buried in.
Yet, just as the tribe leader was about to execute the Urseaus with a blast from the sword, something stopped him.
It was as if some force prevented him from finishing the guardians off and pushed him away while also rejuvenating the two remaining guardians.
Oceania ran over to Urseaus, and in a last-ditch effort to defeat the tribe leader, the three guardians grabbed the artifact scepter. And channelling all of their power through it, they fired a beam so powerful, that the artifact jewel shattered.
But alas, the tribe leader was still not defeated, but instead, was shrouded in pure darkness. It was as if the scepter released his true darkness for all to see.
That was when the two realized what they had to do. In order to save the world from the power of the artifacts, and the darkness of the tribe leader, they would have to create an artifact that could defeat them.
And so, using their remaining strength, Urseaus and Oceania created the artifact Key of Infinity, using the fragments of the artifact jewel.
Using its pure light, Urseaus and Oceania were able to defeat the tribe leader and the Shadowite tribe, shining through their darkness with pure light.
And with that, they felt to the ground, exhausted from the battle. Yet, they knew their work was not done yet.
To prevent anyone else from stealing the artifacts and attempting to use their powers for evil, the guardians chose to hide the ten artifacts throughout the forest.
Then, the two moved westward in search of a new home. After that, the remaining Constellus chose to go their separate ways to find a new home. And with that, the Gravitus civilization was no more.
"And that's the story of the Artifacts!" Alpha excitedly yelled, "Did you like it?"
Stan was the first to speak up, "It wasn't that bad of a story, but what does it have to do with us?"
Alpha responded by handing the artifact sword to Dipper, the shield to Pacifica, the hammer to Soos, and the spear to Wendy, before solemnly saying, "Because you guys are descendants of the original guardians, and Omega thinks that you should know."
Soos curiously spoke up, "So does this mean that we're destined to fight a dark power?" And Alpha responded, "I'm not sure, and neither is Omega for that matter. All we do know is, that you are the newest guardians of the artifacts."
Then, suddenly, the team heard some rustling in some nearby bushes, and then, a tranquilizer dart flew through the air, and hit Soos in the neck.
