(Flash back, Storybrooke: little Dorothy)
Belle stood in the kitchen; it was a worm day at the end of summer. Warmth spread through the window in over the sink to her skin. She rinsed the baby spinach she was going to add to the vegetable and fruit she was preparing for summer lunch. Her stomach tighten, her breath hitched. She retched for the faucet and turned it off. She looked out the kitchen window to the back yard to where she had bean watching Dorothy play.
She had heard the three and a half year old scream. But as Belle looked out her heart steadied, she smiled at the site. No longer was her daughter screaming but giggling in her papa's arms. He had scoped her up after she ran to him. Arms out starched, hands grabbing for exceptions and love. Belle waved out the window when Rumple's eye's met hers. A wave of warmth struck through her, while he smiled at her before entering their home through the sliding glass door.
Belle set the spinach aside and wiped her wet hands on her apron. She trend from the sink and made her way around the island counter for her and Rumple to great one another. Rumple set Dorothy down when he entered the house; she had run off into the open living room while he greeted Dorothy's mama. First their hands found each other and held its opposite tenderly, while they asked how the others day was.
Soon hands were holding elbows. The gap they had created with their hands holding was closing.
Belle now had her fingers in his hair; stroking the back of his head. Her thumb rubbing, caressing, just behind his ear. Rumple rubbed one hand, softly, slowly, up and down her back; the other styed around her waste. Sliding around the curve of her hip and waste. Belle kissed his cheek as she pulled her face back from their hug; she watched his face as she smiled dreamily at her. She smiled back as she pulled his mouth to hers.
Dorothy watched from the living room as her parents showed their affection. She knew from her golden books that her parents were just doing what parents that loved each other do. Though when Dorothy read the fairy tales she wondered why a princess was always in need of a prince. Why would a woman won't a man? What would she herself won't with a boy? She really had not met other children then her nephew Henry.
She loved him. But didn't want to kiss him, she knew not to do that. Little Dorothy decided she was too young to care. That she still had a lot of years before she would care. She watched her parent's hug and kiss; she let them have their moment. She had bean with her mama all morning; it was her papa's tern, for now. When they pulled apart from the kiss and started talking again; Dorothy ran up to them. She held her new book in one hand and reached up to tug on the edge of Rumple's suit jacket.
"I want hug's to please?"
The parents laughed as Rumple picked up their little Dorothy and placed her in between them. Belle reaped her arms around Dorothy and Rumple, as they hugged their daughter. Belle looked over giggling Dorothy to meet Rumple's eyes. He was laughing along with Dorothy when he knottiest Belle wink at him. He's brow knitted, till he watched Belle kiss Dorothy's rosy little cheek. He quickly followed suit. Dorothy shrieked in surprise but returned to giggling. She dropped the book to set her hand on both their shoulders to try and push them away.
"I'm ok now, I don't want anymore hugs now…" Dorothy stated grinning. Belle laughed and bent to retrieve that book Dorothy had dropped.
"Maybe I want more hugs and kisses!" Rumple turned her in his arms to face him. He kissed her nose, cheeks, and her forehead. Dorothy shrieked and giggled more.
"Nooooooo, no more papaaaa!" she giggled, trying to wiggle out of his grip.
"No, you're not going anywhere till I have all you're hugs and kisses!" Dorothy went from giggling to full out laughing. She had never heard her papa sounded like that before. Strange, but funny, hi-pitched.
"I like that voice papa, it's funny!" she stopped struggling and relaxed in his arms.
"Then for you my sweet Dot, I shall use it more often."
Belle laughed she had not heard him use his 'old dark one voice' in a long time. She could admit that after he had given her the library and eventually her own room instead of the dungeon, she thought his 'imp like facade' was funny to. She pocked Dorothy in the side and wiggled her finger to teas.
"Mama! Noooooo…stoooooop. No tickling!" One morning Rumple had bean helping
Dorothy while she was learning to walk.
She had made in to almost his out stretched hands when she fell forward like a tree. Rumple grabbed her in time before face plant was inducted. But as he was holding her, she began to shriek. He looked her over to see if she was hurt till he saw she was laughing and realized he had grabbed her by her armpits. He usually would but he had never grabbed her that quickly and every other time he had picked her up that way, she did shriek. He merely thought it was excitement of the motion. Later he and Belle would discover:
Her neck, ears, waist, back, back of her knees and feet were all extremely ticklish as well. Belle laughed along with her daughter and husband. She handed Dorothy the book. Dorothy had mentioned in the car on the drive back from the library that she was excited to tell her papa about the wonderful new book.
"Papa, look what mama gave me today!" Dorothy held up the book. Rumple looked over the cover with the crying baby duck illustration.
"She gave it to you?!...'cry baby duck'…why is the duckling crying?" Rumple looked from Dorothy to Belle and back.
"Because he doesn't think he's special, that he's boring and no one loves him." Rumple looked up at Belle who had turned away and returned to her salad making. "So he leaves his home, the pond, and go's to find ways to make himself, not a duck."
Though he could not see all her face, Rumple watched the corner of Belle's mouth curl into a smirk. He trend back to his Dot.
"Really?! Dose this duck fined what he's looking for?" Dorothy giggled and shook her head. Forcing long dark curls to fall in her face. Her papa moved the hair out of her face before she answered him.
"Maybe…I could read it to you?" Rumple felt his lips part into a large grin; scents Belle had brought their Dorothy into the world the smile mussels of his face have bean in use more so then they ever had. Sometimes he found his cheeks hurt. Bea had made his heart light to, but Milah would find away to roughen the moment, till she left.
"I would love to hear it." Rumple turned to the living room were he sat; Dorothy curled into his side. His arm still cradling her.
Papa and daughter had their book open and had read the intro: Belle had began to set the table. The mother loved hearing her daughter read, she couldn't be more proud, if she could she would burst.
"Once there was a little duck. His name was cry-baby duck be-cause he was al-www-ays crying. The other little ducks would not play wiff- with him. They said he cried too much. So cry-baby duck ran a-wwway. He came to a high fen-nce and saw a sign that read 'zoo'. Cry-baby duck could not, read the sign so he began to cry. An, o, osssstrri-itch…..?"
Dorothy looked up at her papa for guidance.
"Ya sweetheart, ostrich. That's good sounding out." Dorothy giggled lightly before returning to the book.
"Ok, thank you. 'An ostrich looked over the fence and asked." Dorothy posed to look up at her papa again. "Papa, can you do the other voice please?"
"Ya, of cores Dot…" Rumple quickly found his place. In a croaky, hi-pitched voice he read: "what's the matter!?" Dorothy immediately entered a giggle fit. Rumple drew her close in the croak of his arm to whisper in her ear: "Dot hunny, you need to read for baby duck." Before he kissed her cheek.
"Ok, ok…I can't see over the fence'. An-ered the little duck." Dorothy tried to read though laughs.
"Then crawl under the fence!" Dorothy fell into another laughing fit.
(Past, the Enchanted forest: Snow & Regina's castle)
Snow and Charming summoned mother and daughters to the main sitting hall in Regina's 'and Snow's' castle.
"You're going to announce the baby now? Are you sure that's a good idea right now?…" Belle advised.
"Belle and Regina are right it's too dangerous." Aurora tried to persuade.
"No, if we don't we give into fear. But do we give the kingdom what they need: hope." Snow retorted.
"Then we find what this wicked witch wants."
"Actually we do…" Aurora confect. "She want's you're baby…"
"She came to us just before you arrived, threating us and our unborn child unless we told her of when you arrived in our land." Phillip finished.
"She thinks you're baby could be, important. I'm so sorry, she said she would hurt us." Aurora pleaded. Wind then whipped through the room as she wicked witch flow through the large balcony door way.
"And I make good on my promises." Charming drew his sword. To Belle's surprise so did Alice. But the witch flicked her wrist, green smoke enveloped Phillip and Aurora. When it settled they were flying monkeys. The two immediately flow off through the balcony.
"What do you want with our baby?" Snow growled.
"calm down sweetie, you don't want to go into early labor." The witch raised her hand. Freezing snow where she stood.
"Stay away from my wife!" charming yelled, lunging foreword, sword drawn ready. But the witch froze him as well.
"Oh, someone's testy." Alice moved to attack but was frozen.
"Enough, sis, this is between you and me." Regina raised her hand to choke Zelena but was quickly frozen.
"Now," Zelena moved to snow. "Lets see if this was all worth it." She placed her hand on the side of snows small baby bump.
"Oh, yes, yes it was. This child shall do quite nicely. So take good care of it for me, and don't forget to eat well…I will be back for you, happy day. What's you're will be mine." She moved back to collect her broom. She mounted before unfreezing the group.
"Give me back my sister and father, now!" Alice demanded sounding slightly juvenile. Zelena turned to the young girl.
"Oh don't worry about them, they have each other and, I don't need you anymore little pretty." She turned to Rupunzil who clung to her mother's side. "Seems threating you're fathers life works just as well." The broom then flew off through the sky disappearing through the clouds.
(Dorothy's present: Belle & Rumple)
Belle sat in the bay window. It had bean two days scents all four of their daughters had disappeared. Belle hadn't said much to Rumple scents he rushed home after her phone call. When he returned home and asked her what had transpired she retold what she saw. Ones she relived the abduction she fell apart. For the first time she yelled at Rumple.
He let her yell; she deserved to. Yelling why hadn't bean there to stop the kidnapping, ether of them. That Alice had ran away and he didn't stop her, and finally; that he had asked Dorothy to watch the store. After she blamed him she turned on herself: why couldn't she do anything for her two younger daughters. That she should have checked on Alice before she had snuck out the window. She could have stayed at the shop and sent Dorothy with him instead. That's what made Rumple pull her close: she could blame him all she wanted, he understood it was, frustration. But he couldn't allow her to blame herself.
He quickly moved to her, embracing her as he rubbed her back. She fought him at fist hitting his chest and shoulders but settled as he shushed her, cooing her name. She now stared out the window of their bedroom. Dull sunlight stung her eyes. She heard the door creak; her heart squeezed as gilt took hold. She looked from the back yard as he sat next to her. They were quiet at first till the lump in her that was too much.
"I'm sorry Rumple." She whispered through a crook.
"No Belle, you were upset these a lot of pressure-" Rumple tried to reason.
"I still shouldn't have yelled at you." Rumple lightly took her hand.
"Belle, sweetheart…you were right though-"
"No…"
"I've done nothing, I did nothing-" Belle moved closer to him on the window sit.
"Rumple no…you've bean working so hard to find Dot, after Meme left. We would have had to tie her to a chair to keep her here." Rumple sighed knowing her was somewhat right. "Then she really would hate us." Belle's chin wiggled. Rumple cupped her face and pulled her into his lap where he held her.
"Alice doesn't hate us. She's just fifteen and upset her big sister is missing. You know how she is, she get stir crazy." He felt Belle nod but then hiccup.
"Belle I think I have a way to get the Girls back…" Belle turned in his lap to face him. Small tears had started. Rumple used his thumb to brush them away; as he had for many days now.
"How? Rumple when can we have them back?!" she held his face, brushing his hair. he sighed preparing to answer.
"It's complicated…" Belle's face was stone then.
"Rumple, I'll do anything. I think you know that, just tell me." Belle spoke calmly, but desperately. Rumple nodded.
"To get the help we'll need, we'll have to leave Storybrooke…can you do that?" Belle thought.
"We can ask Emma and Bae to watch the house if the girls come back. It wont be a long trip ether. We just need to find two…acquaintances." Belle turned puzzled.
"Who?...Rumple, I'll do anyth-" Rumple cupped her face again, silencing her by brushing his thumb over her mouth.
"Don't say that. I know you would for our children, but I can't let you be the one to put you're self in danger. Between the two of us, they need you."
"They need their father to. Is it dangerous?" Rumple posed before answering her.
"It could be, darling, who we're going to look for, Belle I want you to come with me. But I need you to be save to." Belle smiled as she sighed out a chuckle.
"Rumple, we'll be fine. I can take care of myself; I did take on the yaoguai and won…" Rumple blinked.
"You did what?...when was this?" for the first time in weeks Belle laughed. A soft, short laugh; but a laugh. Rumple watched in awe he has missed her smile.
"It was a long time ago, before the cures, but now, when do we leave Storybrooke?" Rumple moved his hand from her face to her arm, then hand.
"We leave tonight, we're going to New York first." Belle snuggled in his lap as she sat facing him; her hands slide around the back of his neck through his hair.
"What are we looking for?" she asked as her face moved close to his.
"The fist thing we need is a sea monster." Belle was about to move in for a kiss when she pulled back.
"A sea 'monster'?" Rumple rested his hands on her hip and thigh that rested on ether sighed of his.
"Yes, a sea witch."
(Past, the Enchanted forest: the Dark castle)
The witch returned. Storming into the grate hall. Dorothy was handing her papa a teacup through his cage. Zelena tossed her hat and cape onto the table.
"Get to cleaning thought, I have work to do." She stormed out leaving Dorothy and Rumple to themselves.
"She looked happy." Dorothy commented as she moved to collected the hat and cape.
"She must have confirmed the charming's baby." Rumple afford. Dorothy began to make her way to the garden, before leaving she turned to her papa.
"What do you suppose she wants with their baby?" Rumple thought.
"Who can say my dear. Now you best go, she may be in a good mood now but that doesn't mean we're safe." Dorothy nodded and continued to the garden. Rumple turned back to his teacup. "Oh Dorothy, whatever she wants that baby for, it wont be good."
(Past, our world: New York life.)
Emma waited for Neal at the apartment buildings door. She sat at the bottom steps to let him in. she immediately turned and headed back up the stairs.
"Emma! What's wrong? What did you find?" Neal asked as he fallowed Emma into the strange apartment. She briskly moved to the coffee table. She snacked up the mail; practically flinging it at Neal.
"You wanna tell me what this is?" Neal froze. He looked down at the envelops that had bean pushed into his hands. All were addressed to him. With the apartment number and address.
"Where did you get these?"
"Here Neal, in this apartment! Emma retrieved the dream catcher. "With this in the window!" Neal's eyes widened.
"But that was in the fire…"
"Ya, how'd it get here?" Neal shook his head as he dropped the mail on the table.
"I don't know…"
"There's mail, bills Neal with you're name on it addressed to this apartment. With this!" she shook the dream catcher. "And this!" Emma gingerly picked up the dishtowel with bloodstains on it. "What's this Neal…that's blood, old blood!"
"Emma, I really don't know. I've never seen this place before." She flung the rage back on the couch.
"That's not even the worst thing here." Emma turned and retrieved Henrys camera. "Henry's apparently bean here…" She handed him the strap for him to read his son's name. Neal looked back at Emma.
"Where did you get this?" Emma scoffed.
"In here with the rest of this nonsense mind fuck." Emma moved to Neal taking his hand.
"Neal, if this is a safe house or you're helping someone hide here, you can tell me." Neal looked around the room. Something's in the room he did like. Compered to their apartment, but he did like the use of old lockers as kitchen cupboards.
"This is crazy…do…do you think that weird guy that's gave us the address, maybe staged this?" Emma asked now that's she had calmed.
"I don't know, maybe…" Neal sighed
"He said he knew you, as a kid Neal." Neal scoffed.
"More like a chilled hood acquaints." Neal began to pace as he felt his blood boiled.
"How did you know him." Neal turned to her.
"…He's, coat in between reasons my parents left ok…" Emma moved to him. Taking his hand and the camera from him.
"Neal, we need to get to the bottom of this so we can move on." Neal shuffled his feet before nodding.
"I know where he's going to be, we can get our answers then have him arrested; then we never have to see him again…" Neal slowly nodded.
"Ok…"
(Past, the enchanted forest: the Dark castle)
Eight months had past in the Dark castle and things had become routine for Dorothy. She had become use to Zelena movements, mannerisms and expressions. Zelena unadmittedly had also become use to the woman fallowing her around. When she was in the castle or helping her with her potions work or magical research. The two had become distantly calm. It was not warm but understanding.
It was difficult for Dorothy to say what they were. Surely not friends. But not enemies ether. Dorothy wasn't the only one; Zelena felt it to. Almost comfortable, but not quite. But there was something between them. When Dorothy would find what Zelena had asked for; their hands would brush when the item was pasted. Or Zelena would say something sassy and sarcastic, causing Dorothy to giggle.
When she was alone or watching her from after she would think of the night Dorothy thought she had killed her. The way she had cried over the thought of the loss of her. One night Dorothy was summand to the library. She and her father had bean reading a book when she was called upon. The two searched the library, Dorothy had bean told it was merely and old spell book that would be bound in lather with the tittle burned into the cover stamped. They had eventually found it. At the sometime their hands went for the book but met instead.
Dorothy pulled away first but their eyes remained level. Dorothy found herself being pulled in by the other woman's gaze. The witch didn't move away when their lips brushed; but she didn't return the kiss when Dorothy moved to kiss a second time. But the third time Zelena smiled down at her, chuckling coldly.
"You really think that I could want you, the love child of Rumpelstiltskin and his maid?" She laughed again seizing Dorothy's arm. She dragged the young woman to the library stairs. The poor ladies stomach was in notes, as she was pulled roughly through the halls. Zelena marched her to the dungeon Zelena flung open the door, tossing Dorothy in to fall to her knees. She heard the door shut behind her. She turned showing her hurt and confusion up at Zelena.
"You can come out tomorrow when I come get you. Till them think, of how you over stepped you're bounds; Help!" she heard Zelena's heels dissipate.
Dorothy didn't cry; she wasn't as sad as she thought she should be. Though she found herself thinking of when she we younger. How she had when her friends that were girls began to like boys she was left behind. The only guys she liked around her age were Henry and charming's son. Other then that she had her sisters. When she got older into her teen years she still didn't think the same as other girls in Storybrooke.
She didn't fuss over how she would look in the schoolyard. But the girls that did Dorothy knottiest them. The length of their lags, their hips, waist curves. The softness of their breasts hidden under pretty cloths; Pink painted lips. So well put together; but not for her. Zelena shut herself in Rumples tower trying to calm herself. Her mind screaming how could this have happened?
Her hands where still shaking. She hadn't felt this way scents…well. As she relaxed she felt panic replaced with warmth; making her stomach flutter. Was she really in love. As she pondered another thought occurred if she and Dorothy really felt the same Glinda was going to take their happy ending.
(Flash back: Alice in wonderland)
Alice slept in her sell; she had bean there for two day's now. She slept on a small wooden cot on the wall. Her dream took her to memories of Cyrus then she awoken by the sounds of footsteps. She immediately decided to play it like she was asleep, but when she was shaken awake it was not a red guard. It was the knave.
"…You…" Alice berthed.
"You? That's what I get? You? Well nice to see you to Alice." Will expressed coldly.
"What are you doing here?" Will pulled her up. Trying to get her out the cell door.
"Right, come on, we have to go…"
"Go? No I…I can't." Alice sighed warily.
"Alice you're to be exsiccated."
"I know…but without…I can't-"
"Alice…just because the love of you're life is missing doesn't mean you should end yours…ok!" Will's pep talk made Alice think but too long for will's liking.
"OK!? We must leave now!" Alice nodded slowly.
"Good…" Two guards then entered, grabbing will by the arms to enable him. Another guard came to enable Alice; should he need to. He took her shoulders and pushed her on to the cot.
"Hey, I didn't do anything."
"That's true I mean if she was the lest bit helpful, we would be long gone by, now!" Will yelped as a guard punched him in, ether his pancreas or a kidney. Alice had not fought anyone in a long time. Not scents the day Cyrus had bean lost to her. The two had visited the boiling sea, a place her mother had told her about.
"Curiouser, and Curiouser…I read of the boiling sea, but in person its even more amazing." The two stood on a cliff over looking the sea. Cyrus then took her hand, turning to her as he did so.
"As are you." Alice turned at the statement. She had never met someone like Cyrus. She took a step back but it was too close to the edge. Cyrus grabbed her; pulling her close.
"Carful…" Alice looked up as they chuckled. Glad they were both safe.
"I've never met a human quite like you." Cyrus offered.
"I've never met a genie quite like you. Actually I've never met a genie, so…" she giggled till Cyrus moved back from her. She looked worried.
"Oh forgive me I'm not use to…you see I was always the one granting the wishes, not making them…" he began to explain.
"Making them? Alice was relieved but still confused.
"In fore hundred years I've bean tethered to the bottle; to be a slave to the dreams of man. In all that time I only had one wish: to never be imprisoned again…" He admitted softly. Alice smiled sweetly as she know this.
"But now, I have another; but wait I think the people in you're world do this down on one kne-" He moved to kneel but Alice was quicker.
"Yes, yes I will!" she cheered excitedly.
"…No, I, but I had a hole speech…" Cyrus complained humorously. "It was charming and eloquent." Alice moved foreword, taking his hand and pulling him into an embrace. She reaped her arms around his neck to hold him to her as they kissed. Even as they pated; they remained close. Alice looked down as a red light glowed from under his shirt. He retched into reveal a necklace that was the cause.
"Now our hearts are entwined, now I will know when you are near and you Will know as well." He explained. Alice loved the way he explained things.
Alice held the red beckon; still attached around his neck. She moved to kiss him again but a soft thumping; drumming in the distends, pulled her away. They looked to the entrance of the mountain, that held up the cliff they had took to retch the peek they stood. The drumming became louder when they realized it was marching. Cyrus moved in front of her drawing his sword before telling her to run. But Alice was hardly a damsel.
She took his dagger from the back of his belt. She then moved away from him to get in a fighting stance her mother and Emma had taught her. Red guards pored in, setting up a base line in the exit of the cave. To guards in the middle stepped assigned to reveal the red queen. Tall, blond and posh lipped as ever.
"Sorry to interrupted." She quickly veered off to her left; to let the guards take care of the two.
They hunched with weapons at the ready for the attack. It quickly cemented as the guards charged them. Alice moved through the right of the pack; while Cyrus took the brunt. He leapt, flipping over the guards. Alice hit metal on metal defensively. She didn't want to kill them, she had never killed anyone. Cyrus had disarmed a small group but it wasn't enough. Alice was soon disarmed and held as well as Cyrus. Alice was forest to kneel before the red Queen.
"Mind if I borrow him?" she face was stone but her rude sass still filled her words.
Two guards pulled Cyrus to his feet. Alice struggled to free herself to help him. They called out for one another as they took him to the cliffs exit. Cyrus freed an arm to grab a guard's spear. He whipped it around like a staff knocking the guards to the ground. He then moved to Alice and freed her.
He looked back at her to see that she was unharmed. The Queen watched their love; jealousy coasted through her. With little effort, a graceful flick of her wrist sent Cyrus over the cliffs edge, into the boiling sea. Alice cradled frantically to the cliffs edge as she screamed for him; ignoring the Queen as she left. He was soon consumed by the sea; Alice knew that nothing could survive the water of this particular sea. She was then pulled from the memory as will called for her.
The guards were pulling him from her cell.
"Alice! Alice listen to me! He's alive…" she stared him down darkly at the cruel blow. If he was just trying to motivate her.
"The Rabbit saw him! Here at the castle of hearts." If the Rabbit had saw him, it must be true.
"That's impossible…"
"You know as well as I do Alice. Nothing is impossible in wonderland." The guard then punched him low again.
The guard near her began to leave the sell when she grabbed his arm, opening his core to her. She hulled back jabbing him low in the gut. She jumped over him grabbing the cell door's casing over the doorway to swing herself, grabbing a guard around the neck with her lags; squeezing as she punched him to knock him unconscious. Another guard came at her with a knife she grabbed opening his body for attack. She first Kneed him in the chest; then finishing with a right hook to the face. Now with the guard on the ground in the cell doorway, but still conches; she took the sell door and began to slam it on his head; leaving him unconscious. The guard she had left in the sell was up; he moved to her. She turned quickly, sucker punching him between the eyes.
He flow back slumping agents the cells cot. She turned back to the other two guards, still holding Will. One let go of him and moved for her with another knife. She ducked as he swung at her. Now low enough she left jabbed him in the center chest; as he heaved her grabbed his arm and swung herself onto his back grabbing his arm with the knife. She reaped her body around his arm like a pythons grip. She squeezed till she heard his arm snap; forcing him to let go of the knife. The last guard holding Will, let go to advance on his new target.
He swung his arms to try and capture her but, she ducked. Soon popping back up kicking him in the left knee, on its outside of his lag. Finishing by clubbing him in the face with her fist. Throwing him on his back unconscious. She turned back to a sell that remained unlocked. She grabbed her sword and small dagger. Reattaching them to her belt. A guard began to stir as she turned to fallow Will. As the guard began to stand, she simply swung her foot back, connecting her foot to his face. She moved to Will, who smiled at her.
"Like ridding a bike eh?" Will teased.
"Was that you're idea of a rescue?" She asked sassily.
"Well it was suppose to be more of a delivery trip situation; I was planning a-"Alice ran off down the hall leaving Will. Right, lets go them…" the two made it out of the dungeon to the back garden.
"You're late." Alice turned to see the white Rabbit. "What a surprise."
"To you everyone is late." Alice sighed But moved after him.
"True, I do have high standers." As they moved through the garden, more guards were being disperse. The three moved quickly ending up in a courtyard.
"What do we do now?" Alice whispered to Will.
"We run!" Will suggested loudly. The three ran through the Queens courtyard. Patterns screamed at the sight as the guards chaste them. A gauged moved close after Alice; Will grabbed a garden, iron chair, throwing it, connecting with the guards back and face. They slipped through a small ally into, a dead end. Till Will saw a metal gate behind them. He pulled on the chains but it was locked. They heard the Guards draw near.
"We're finished, their coming now." Will sighed angrily, not really felling the emotion.
"No we wont." Alice moved towered the gate while Will watched the alley. "Rabbit!"
"Here, but can't we find some more softer ground, like a meadow, a field?"
"Dig!" the two humans ordered.
"Alright." The Rabbit moved to the gate, making a blue curricle in the ground before it. It opened up making a portal. The Rabbit jumped in first to make the hole on the other side. Alice turned to Will.
"What are you waiting for?" Will sighed.
"…Alice I didn't exactly leave you're world on good terms."
"Nether did I, but-"
"Then you need to go, not me!" Alice marched to her friend.
"Listen 'knave' once long ago my sister helped get you back you're heart. Now you need to help me get back her…Or you could take a chance with them." Will moved to the portal with Alice as he crusted.
"Right, next stop Storybrooke!" Will yelled over the wind the portal gravitated. Alice was about to take his hand, but she felt his hand on her back, then she exploded into a strange woods; with no Will.
(Past, the Enchanted forest: the Dark castle)
Dorothy had a sleepless night. Thinking how she was going to apologies to Zelena. Nothing would ever by the same. Around early afternoon she heard Zelena's heels click on the stone stairs. When Zelena unlocked and opened the door she said and did nothing but stood aside for Dorothy to exit. She moved to stand just outside the door. Dorothy opened her mouth to apologies; but Zelena held up her hand to silent her. Her expression plan, unreadable. She pointed over Dorothy's head.
"Go…" Zelena ordered. Simple, low, and cold. Dorothy turned and headed up the stairs. Zelena stopped her just outside the door to the great hall.
"As for last night, you are to act as nothing happened, but me." Zelena cupped Dorothy's cheek, rubbing her thumb over her full pink lips. "You want me, oh, my pretty, you shall have it. With in reason. As punishment I'm going to tart you as a house hold tart." Zelena turned Dorothy to face the door. "Now get in there and serve me brunch!" Zelena swatted Dorothy's backside lightly; pushing her through the doorway. Rumple looked up alarmed at the sight of Dorothy as she never returned to their reading last night. She ran to the kitchen. Zelena made her way to the chair closest to Rumple's cage.
"What did you do to her?" Rumple accused, the threat in his voice.
"Nothing yet…" Dorothy returned with a trey of tea. She sat it off to Zelena's right. But the woman pulled the try to sit in front of her thus making Dorothy move closer to Zelena's side. She was about to pore the tea when Zelena lightly touched her arm stopped her. She then took Dorothy by her waist and pulled the woman into her lap. Dorothy heard her papa shuffle in his cage but didn't look to see the look of horror on his face. She pored the tea from Zelena's lap; then past the cup to her. Zelena took one sip then set it down. She began to stroke Dorothy's hair and back.
"Isn't she wonderful Rumple. You must be so proud. She is lovely, as lovely as her mother…" Zelena laughed as she took her waist again; setting her right. She also stood. The two women then faced the cage; but Dorothy still wouldn't look up.
"Never mind brunch. We need to watch our figures my pretty." Zelena whispered in Dorothy's ear, before spanking her small bottom again; pushing her closer to the cage. Zelena laughed as she left the great hall.
"Dorothy? Dorothy what is she doing?" Rumple asked softly.
"She said she's teaching me a lesson." Rumple snorted.
"A lesson in what?" Dorothy sighed. This was the punishment. Telling her papa.
"She asked me to help her find a book in the library last night." Rumple nodded.
"We found it, but; I kissed her." Rumple's eyes went wide.
"You what?!" He wasn't upset just shocked. His future little girl had kissed a woman he mutually hated.
"I kissed her. She locked me in the dungeon last night to; something about me learning my place as 'the help'…" Rumple sighed. "This morning she came and got me. Before we entered she said she was going to treat me like a 'house hold tart'." Dorothy's voice cracked quietly at the end. Rumple was about to ask more but she cut him off. "If, if it were a man, I would hate it but if it were any other woman I wouldn't care ether." Dorothy rambled. She looked down at her feet. Realization hit Rumple. He moved his hand through the bars to hold her face.
"Dorothy…Sweetheart. Do you, pine for other women?" Dorothy simply nodded; still looking down at her red shoes. Rumple smiled back at her. "Only now?" Dorothy shook her head.
"No. I realized when other girls and boys knottiest each other, I knottiest other girls to…" Rumple rubbed her arms to calm her.
"Oh Dorothy, it's alright. There's nothing wrong with being attracted to someone the same gender as you. As long as you truly love each other; its no one else's biasness. But what Zelena is doing is wrong." Dorothy finally met his gaze. He looked worried.
"I know, I just don't mind the touch as much as I should. It dose bother me that she's doing this to hurt us…but; she's not betting me or, worse." Rumple began to stroke her arm again.
"If she ever dose you need to tell me." Dorothy smiled weakly.
"Ok, I promise…" Dorothy moved back to the table. "Tea?" Rumple nodded and picked up their book from last night.
"I believe we have a story to finish." Dorothy smiled as she prepared two cups of tea. She brought a chair over to site next to the cage.
(Past, our world: Emma, Henry & Neal, New York)
After Emma made a trip to the police station. She made her way to the parks entrants to the zoo. Neal had returned to their apartment to wait for Emma to return. He wished he could be there with her, but with cops they decided Neal would be safer elts were. Emma spotted the strange man he was right where he said he would be. As she made her way around the fountain.
"Why didn't you tell me that place had to do with Neal?" she asked, hoping the sentence would make him reveal something.
"I think the tone of you're voice answers that quite quickly. You never would have found it if I hadn't."
"What are you up to? Muscling out Neal, to what? Get into our lives, to get to Henry's? How dose he even know about that place when myself and Neal don't even know?"
"I already told you I'm not here because of Neal, I'm here because you're family's are in trouble. Their entire kingdom has bean cursed; ripped back to Storybrooke."
"What are you talking about?! My parents, their kingdom, a curse; do you know what you sound like?" the strange man suddenly looked hurt.
"Like a mad man I'm sure…" he admitted softly. "But it's true. You're parents need you; you're the only one that can save them. If you don't believe me at all then why did you came here?" Emma retched into her rues franticly.
"Because a place Neal and I have never heard of, but has his name on its mail, had a camera there with our son's name on it. Why? Did you set this up?" the man smiled only making Emma more annoyed.
"Don't you see, that's proof of what I'm saying. Henry must have left that in the apartment when you where in New York last year-"
"Not good enough…we want answers, real ones." He then looked pleadingly at her before retrieving a small blue bottle from his 'rock star' trench cote.
"there's only one way you'll get that; is if you drink this…" he held the bottle out to her.
"Drink the thing the crazy guy just offered me? No thanks."
"No, it will help you remember everything you've lost…if one small part of you senses that don't you owe it to you're self to find out if I'm right?" he pleaded. "What do you say love? Take a leap of faith; give it a go."
Emma stared at the bottle, but she already knew what she had to do. Protect the family she knew she has. She took his hand and reaped a cuff around it, locking it there.
"Call me love one more time and you'll lose the other hand." She moved past him over to a park bench. Locking the other cuff to its iron armrest.
"Swan, what are you doing?"
"I'm making sure you never bother my family again." She stepped back and whistled; then two police officers emerged.
"He's the guy; the one that brock and entered my apartment."
"I only entered to give Neal the address." He shot back at her.
"There, he confessed." Emma began to walk away as they read him his rights. But all she heard was the crazy man calling after her.
"Swan please you're making a mistake. A terrible, terrible mistake. Swan! You're family needs you!"
(Past, the Enchanted forest: the Queens castle)
Snow and charming sent out word to allies immediately after the wicked witch made her visit. But most of the friends they sent invitations to where too fare to travel for a short meeting. So fare all they hand was Regina, Robin, Belle, Alice, Rupunzil, and all the dwarves. Grumpy had just returned from the fairy grove with news.
"What Grumpy, this better be good news." Charming sighed exhausted.
"It isn't, I've spoken with Blue, Tink. All the fairies; they've bean skewering the forest. They got zilch. They say the witch is just too powerful." Grumpy concluded.
"It's happening again. I'm about to give birth and an evil sorceress is threating the life of my baby." Snow breathed shakily.
"To be fare, the first time I was threating you. Everyone elts just became collateral damage." Regina reminded.
"Remained me why we let her stay here?" Grumpy asked.
"Because this time I'm helping. Frustrating as it is for me to remember snow, you had a head start to defeat me last time, how?"
"We were warned." Charming revealed.
"By Rumpelstiltskin." Snow confirmed.
" Well maybe he can warn as again." Regina suggested.
"How, He's trapped in his own cast-" Charming began.
"You want to, what? Sneak into the Dark castle? Names grumpy, not stupid."
"You're right it is stupid, but for our child…" Snow began.
"We'll do whatever it takes." Charming finished.
"Heart worming. But he's trapped in his own castle; Belle, you were prisoner there." Regina pointed out.
"Yes but, breaking in?" she shook her head. "I have no idea how…"
"Luckily I do." Robin began. "I brock in there ones before."
"Why are we even listening to him? He's a thief, without means he's not to be trusted. What are you even still doing here?" Regina accused bluntly.
"Saving you're ass." Regina raised a dark, perfect eyebrow. "The castle is guarded with many traps and deadly ones."
"Not more deadly then my magic" Regina retorted with confidence.
"They are if you don't see them coming."
"Well, maybe I'm ok with taking my chances." Regina spat back without thinking. Rupunzil giggled quietly next to her mother who shushed her through a smirk.
"Ok, you maybe, but we're not. He's coming along." Snow settled.
"Fine, but I don't think you two should come." Regina nodded to snow and charming.
"What, why?" Snow argued.
"Because, nether of you should be walking into the lions dean."
"She's right, you two should stay here." Alice agreed.
"So then who do you think should go?" charming asked.
"Robin, obviously. Regina, for magic, mama for her knowledge of the castle, and to persuade papa if needed. Finally Rupunzil and I to speak with Dorothy."
"I, don't know if Rupunzil should go…" Charming lean forward.
"Why not?" the young girl asked astonished.
"Well that witch had you held captive. Don't you think if you go it would be like, handing you back?"
"Maybe, but there is information about Zelena I need to tell Dorothy."
"Why not tell Alice to give to her?" Snow suggested.
"Or tell all of us now." Grumpy voiced sassily.
"No, only my sister can know this. And only I can deliver it." Belle smiled at her young daughter as she took her shoulder.
"Fine." Charming gave in.
"But." Grumpy began.
"No, charming's right. If you need to get whatever it it to her, to save her or you're time line, then it has to be done. Right?" Snow realized. Rupunzil looked around the table, then finally nodded.
(Dorothy's present: Belle & Rumple in New York)
Belle and Rumple had packed their luggage. Belle had really bean the one to organize and make sure, tooth brushes and paste, deodorants, travel shampoos, sops and pads, weren't forgotten. As well as the quantity of them. Rumple was in charge of socks, underwear's, bras, tights and ties. Also making sure everything would fit in the Cadillac. The last thing he packed was his cane. He had not ever thought about the object was twenty five years ago. Give or take. He had called Neal asking him to watch the house; thankfully his son agreed. After Emma and Henry helped pack the caddy the Gold's were on they're way out of Storybrooke.
Before they left Rumple had replicated the snow Queen's spell to find their way back. Belle held her breath as they crossed the town line. She had never really bean in this other world before. She was both excited and terrified. But when she would look over at her husband she wasn't so scared. Once they cost the line Belle looked in the rearview mirror to see the strip of highway that was suppose to lead to town looked different. She retched into her purse pulling out the copy Rumple had made. She read it then looked in the mirror again to find the familiar Storybrooke road reappeared.
"I see it, you're copy worked." Belle assured, placing it back in her purse.
"Good…" Belle watched him; she found he looked nerves.
"Do you have a plan B to get back?" She asked. It had bean on her mind scents he had presented the parchment copy.
"Yes dear, call Bae from the town line, ask him to bring the spell and through it over to us." Belle nodded still studying his movements as he drove.
"Are you going to tell me what's bothering you?" Rumple was quiet but answered her.
"I'm worried she'll say no, and we'll have wasted our time on a fools earned." Belle curled her lips together in a cocked half smile.
"When you give her our offer to return I doubt she'll say no." Belle offered.
Rumple relaxed with his wife re assurance. They drove in silence. Belle in awe as she watched the world outside the window. Rumple glanced at her ever so often. He was glad she was getting to see the world, he had planed to leave with her when the snow Queen enacted her curse. But Neal would be left behind; so they stayed.
He glanced at Belle, he wanted to say something but wasn't sure what. Even after twenty two years of marriage she still made him speechless. He retched over. Turning on the car radio. At first it was just static but it got Belle's attention. She looked between him and the radio. It hadn't gotten reception inside Storybrooke scents the last cures.
"If you turn the dial it will change the channel." Rumple instructed. Belle leaned forward; as she turned it picked up stashes from our world. She grind as the car speakers played songs. She selected the clearest one. The sound of a flute and drums cased her to bob her head and giggle. She leaned back, smiling over at her husband.
"Lying in a den in Bombay, with a slack jaw and not much to say."Belle turned back to the radio. Listening to the song had a singer she turned the volume up. "I said to the men: are you trying to tempt me? Because I come from the land of plenty. And he said: oh you come from a land down under. Oh yeah, yeah. Where women glow and men plunder." Belle wasn't sure what the singer was saying but she liked the song. "Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover."
Rumple remembered Gold had the old cassette tape for this song. He barely listened to it. His cursed persona had secretly bean a fan of a rock group called AC/DC. The day Emma had awoken him he had gone to his car after meeting her. He turned on his car to have a man yelling at him from the cars dash. Whatever Gold had liked about the group Rumple did not. Later he found he liked another group called scorpion. It was softer and less intense. He had only heard this song ones on accident, but Belle seemed to enjoy the melody. Belle turned the volume back down as the song ended.
"So, where are we going first?" Belle asked starry eyed. Rumple smiled at her enthusiasm.
"Logan International Airport." Belle's eyes widened.
"We're taking a plain?!" Her mouth hung open in excitement. Rumple nodded glad she was happy at the idea. He pointed at the glove box.
"Look in there dear." She pushed the button to open the compartment, to find two envelopes. She held them to find hers and Rumples names on them saying they had a flight from Boston to New York.
"We're driving to Boston first?" She asked, staring at the tickets. Rumple nodded.
"Indeed we are." He heard her giggle.
"We're taking a plain…" She repeated excitedly. Rumple smiled softly.
Her emotion was contagious. He found he was excited for her. He knew this trip would be more enjoyable then the first. After they arrived at the airport they headed to the creaking counter only to find their plain had bean delayed by three hours. The security had bean tuff on both of them. Thought Rumple had bean through before; he still found on modern security. The most surprising and least favorite thing Belle had to do was taking off her shoes.
She didn't like that her feet were touching strange carpet. Rumple had walked her through. She was annoyed that she had to remove her earrings, necklace, even her wedding band. To her that was a little excessive. But they still did so. She was concerned when he had to walk through the metal detector without his cane.
But he did. She was proud of him; she was always proud of him. But then she was proud of him, for him. She crossed then quickly moved next to him where they gathered their things from the binds. The excitement had stayed with Belle; but Rumple had become anxious and irritable. Belle sat with their bags at the row of sits outside their gat while Rumple passed. He had to use his cane now; which just added to his irritants.
"Are you hungry?" Belle asked in their second hour.
"No…" His voice wasn't cold but flat.
"Rumple, do you want to talk about it?" Belle watched him intensely as he turned to her abruptly.
"Belle, not now sweetheart…ok…"She sighed as she studied his face. She took his hand.
"Will you sit with me?" she asked softly. He did for the next hour; till his bad foot fell asleep.
Belle watched him move slowly to the man's washroom. She knew he was upset. In his mind every minuet was parishes to get back to town; that every second was another his daughters were missing. In the washroom Rumple found himself in 'déjà vu'. Belle was just as upset; she was anxious to get whatever Rumple needed then get the hell back to town. She was excited to be seeing the world but now was not the right time to wallow in it.
Somehow seeing Rumple acting the way he was kept her calm, for him. Awhile later, closer to the estimated boarding time; he emerged from the man's room. As he moved back to her eyes fell to the cane. She knew that was part of his currant attitude. He returned to the set next to her settling his hand on her crossed knee. She looped her arm around his, lying her head on his shoulder. She felt him crane his neck; she began to fidget with his cote sleeve.
"I love you…" Belle whispered. She felt his head snap back to her. He corseted her knee.
"I love you to…" He answered softly, but confused.
"We'll be ok, we're almost there." Rumple nodded at Belle's re assurance.
Not long after they were finally boarding. Belle held tight to his hand as they walked through the tunnel gate. Once they where settled in; his hand was placed back on her knee. With her head on her shoulder. Even though Belle had a window sit, it could wait. Right now Rumple needed her, and she needed him.
(Past, the Enchanted forest: the Dark castle)
Fore days had past scents Zelena had started teasing Dorothy which had in crest with small kisses over her face; but continued with light pats on her bottom. When the two where alone the pats were less; the kisses more tender but more verbal teasing. But when they were in the grate hall the kisses were more, longer; pats stronger. Late one afternoon Zelena intruded on father and daughter.
"I hope you two are up for a little game." The witch leaned on Dorothy's chair over her.
"What sort of game? That's all you've bean doing." Rumple spoke coldly. Referring to the way she had bean treating Dorothy.
"Oh that, that's nothing. Compered to what we're about to do." Zelena draped her arms over Dorothy's shoulders. "No, we're going to play a family game."
(Past, Oz: Zelena & Glinda)
Glinda or whoever she was. The two witches entered a room inside the emerald palace. It was like a throne room but it had a long large table; and some curtains counseling something in the fare end of the room.
"What is this?" Zelena asked very innocently.
"My spoils, I suppose." Zelena was quiet then instructing herself that this was a different person then the woman she had come to know as: 'nice Glinda.'
"Zelena, I'm going to tell you something about me, and I want it to remand a secret between us… " 'Glinda's' voice was sweet, silky as she turned to the other witch. Zelena nodded. Waiting eagerly.
"I'm quite old where I come from. I may be considered ancient."
"You look young to me."
"Of cores, this isn't my face dear…" Glinda whispered. "I have a way of obtaining my youth as well as Glinda's absents." The witch snapped her fingers.
Zelena then hears rustling; as it grew louder Zelena could hear a girl scream for help. Soon guards of the emerald city were throwing a peasant girl at Glinda's feet. She was beautiful; Glinda took her chin forcing the girl to look at her.
"Are you afraid of me?" she whispered. The girl began to cry, but slowly nodded. The witch smiled. "Good, you should be." Her hand moved, her fingers reaping around the girls neck.
She began to scream and fight back as Glinda hosted the girl into the air, still holding her neck. Zelena watched as she girl began to quickly age as Glinda gained a healthy glow. Once the girl stopped struggling, going limp. The witch throw the corps aside to the ground like a rage doll. When it hit the ground the corps simple turned to dust.
"So…" she finally spoke, pulling Zelena from staring at the lump of dust. "you see that's how I stay young, and beautiful." Zelena remained quiet for a moment.
"You steal it, is that why you want Dorothy?" Glinda sighed, looking away from the young witch.
"These girls; they only give me a short sappily of youth. But Dorothy, her heart is pure; her heart is one made by two people that had true love. Her heart also has great magical potential. With it I can live forever." The witch spoke calmly and 'mater of factly'.
Zelena could only stare at the other witch. "That's why you want her, for her heart?"
"It is wasted on her!" she outburst, but soon regained composer. "So you see, that is all I want. Little Dorothy's heart.
Hey you! Its bean awhile. I recently had to move do to a job offer. Its going great. My whole life is turned around for the better. With that being said I don't wont it to come between us. Chapters will be later sometimes only ones a week depending on work dead lines. But it will remain ones a week.
As for Dorothy's character development. I love OUAT but sometimes its bittersweet. Because its on a channel like ABC its very conservative and 'family orientated' considering its 'supernatural content'. Perhaps if it was on another channel we could get Ursula / Cruella, or see Mulan get a happy ending or actually confess her feelings to Aurora, perhaps even see Maleficent flirt with Regina. But being a lesbian and only having one character like Mulan who really is never outted as being gay and is only interpreted as one is frustrating. On a show that supports love and happy endings for all the gay community sternly got the sort end of the stick… But I still love the show and their strong willed women and busty dress eye candy make up for it.
As always, please feel free to comment and fallow. until next time. HAVE AN AWSOME DAY YALL!
