Chapter 7: Team OP

Disclaimer: I own neither Fairy Tail nor Naruto they belong to Mashima Hiro and Kishimoto Masashi respectively

A/N: Hey, I'm back. Sorry about the two month skip, but life sucks sometimes. So we're back with the start of the Lullaby Arc that will only take two chapters. A little more insight into Naruto's interactions with the guild, but it will be pretty much canon for this arc. Next arc should have some more changes from canon.

Fairy Tail Guild

Lucy stood in front of the request board and hummed to herself as she examined the various jobs available. Naruto walked by with a drink in hand and raised an eyebrow when he noticed what she was doing.

"What are you looking at jobs for?" He inquired.

"I need money , because some people stopped us from getting paid for the last job." She reminded him with a pointed look.

Naruto gave a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of his head. They hadn't gotten paid for the last job because he and Natsu had insisted on not taking the reward due to them not actually destroying the book and the fact that the client didn't actually have the money. "To be fair, you wouldn't have gotten paid anyways." He pointed out.

Lucy chose to ignore his point in favor of staying angry and went back to examining the request board with renewed vigor.

Naruto shrugged his shoulders and went to sit down next to Cana at their usual spot. She was downing her barrel at a more sedated pace than usual as Naruto sat down across from her. "So what's up with you and the new girl? Job go south?" She asked.

"You could say that." Naruto replied before taking a swig from his own drink. "You know how the reward for that job was ridiculously high for such a simple job?"

Cana nodded, it was all that the guild was talking about after Makarov had told them about the price increase. There had been a ton of speculation about the job while it was in progress and when Naruto's team came back and reported failing the job everyone had asked what had happened, but the only thing they had been told was that they didn't destroy the book and thus didn't get the money.

"Well the book was written by the guy's dad for him, but he didn't know about it and thought that it was just a shitty book," Naruto started to outline how the job had went. "Lucy saw through this and ended up giving the true story back to the guy instead of letting us to destroy it. Also he didn't really have the money and we might have destroyed the residential duke's mansion after finding out he was corrupt and we had to get out of doge pretty fast."

Cana deadpanned as Naruto finished his mission summary. That was more along the lines of what they had thought. Leave it to Naruto and Natsu to destroy everything except what was in the job description.

"So what are you going to do now? Weren't you banking on that for this month's budget?" She asked.

Naruto drained his mug with a sigh of satisfaction. "Natsu said that Lucy would pick the next job because we tricked her into the last one."

"You really think that she'll stay with your team after that?"

"Eh, doesn't matter to me." Naruto offhandedly said. "I can always just take Sanji out on a solo job if need be." He then pointed over his shoulder to where Gray and Natsu were fighting while Loke hit on Lucy before running away after discovering she was a Celestial Spirit Mage. "Besides, I don't want to deal with that bullshit if I don't need to."

Cana looked past his shoulder and saw what he meant. "What started it this time?"

"It was something about which team Lucy was going to join. I don't know, all Gray and Natsu have to do to piss each other off is to be in the same room for about thirty seconds. Then the fight starts-"

"And you'll get dragged in about two minutes later." Cana finished.

"It sucks~!" Naruto whined into his mug. "Bastards are a pain in the ass."

"At least it's just those two." Cana assured him.

"Yeah, they're nowhere near as bad as Erza." Naruto said with a laugh. "Thank God she isn't here, dattebayo."

"I'll drink to that." Cana agreed.

The two clunked their drinks together in mutual fear and relief. Loke then burst back into the guild in a state of panic. "Guys! We have big trouble." Everyone in the guild looked towards the normally calm residential playboy. "Erza's back!"

Loke's grave tone sent everyone into a panic. Naruto and Cana spit their drinks into each other's faces, both realizing that they had tempted fate and gotten punched in the throat for it. Cana ditched her now empty barrel and turned to Naruto. "Shit, what are we going to-" She stopped when she saw that Naruto had disappeared already. "Right. He does that when she shows up." She mumbled to herself. Time to put number one first and cover her own ass. Naruto could try to outmaneuver Erza on his own.

Said blond in question was currently clinging to the roof of the guild with chakra as he carefully made his way through the rafters towards the door. 'Okay, got to make my way to the door as stealthily as possible before Erza gets here.' He went over his usual escape plan in his head. 'Can't let that crazy red haired demon-woman get her hands on me.'

"I've said it a thousand times: redheads are bad news and should be avoided at all costs." Kyubi reminded him.

"Yes, yes, and you continue to remind me every time you have even the smallest window of opportunity." Naruto pointed out. "If it weren't for the fact that you're right I would call you biased."

"You have, several times in fact." Kyubi replied. "And then you realized that the—great and infinitely smarter than you—Kyubi was, once again, right."

'Here we go again.' Naruto thought with an eye roll. Ever since he had the misfortune to call the fox out on his irrational hatred and fear of red haired women, Naruto had been forced to listen to Kyubi's many points and reasons behind it that all boiled down to the fact that the fox had been held inside only two people before Naruto and they were both women with red hair. Naruto had never believed the fox's words until he started to notice all the similarities between what he was saying and Erza. This had led to Naruto gaining a newfound respect and fear of the S-class mage that had started to develop ever since she had introduced her fist to his spine through his stomach.

In reality, Kyubi had a hatred of only the Uzumaki women because they had sealed him and had decided that a form of revenge would be to instill a fear of red haired women in Naruto after seeing how Erza acted when she was younger. It made his job that much easier and by watching her he was able to warp his reasoning so that it nearly fit her to a "T". Naruto would be unaware that he wasn't describing his last two jinchuriki, but Erza, thereby tricking him into believing that all redheaded women had the same general attitude and tempers. This only worked due to Naruto's minimum contact with other people for most of his young life and the fact that he had a misplaced sense of trust in the giant fox made of hatred in his gut that he believed would help him solely based on a promise that he would never be able to actually keep. It was twisted and petty and Kyubi loved every second of it.

Suddenly the doors were thrown open and the armored mage walked in while carrying a giant decorated horn with only one hand. She let it down with a resounding boom that sounded like a death toll to Naruto. 'Shit! I blew my chance!' He thought in a panic. If he got close enough to the door now he would only draw Erza's attention. He would have to wait until she started to berate his comrades on all the shit they pulled before making his move.

Erza walked into the middle of the guild and started to point out all of the flaws in her guild members based on their bad habits. Her overall personality as a disciplinarian had remained, even if she had grown up quite a lot over the years. She had grown into a true beauty with an amazing figure that was hidden under her custom armor, her old braid was gone and her scarlet hair now spilled out over her shoulders, and she now wore a blue skirt and black boots that reached up to just below her knees.

Erza then moved on to Gray and Natsu. The two fighting mages had apparently resolved their fight and were shaking hands with an arm around their shoulders. The picture of friendship was ruined by them sweating in fear and shaking as Gray stuttered his way through a conversation while Natsu just "ayed" like Happy.

'Chance!' Naruto quickly made a break for the door while Erza was distracted by the two biggest troublemakers. His path was blocked off by Sanji in full battle mode. Naruto's eyes widened in shock. "You cheap motherfu-" Was all he got out before getting roundhouse kicked back into the guild and slammed into Natsu and Gray.

Erza raised a delicate eyebrow at the sudden appearance of the guild's other Dragon Slayer. "Thank you, Sanji." She said without turning around.

"Anything for you, Erza-chan!" The yellow cat called out with hearts in his eyes.

"Goddamn traitor." Naruto groaned out.

"Naruto, I see you still haven't learned how to greet someone when they arrive." Erza told him off for once again failing to escape from her.

"Sorry, Erza-sama." Naruto apologized.

"It's fine, I was actually looking for the three of you." Erza told the three mages as they untangled themselves. "I need your help for a job, we'll leave tomorrow morning." She told them without waiting for a reply. She picked up her horn and headed out the door. "I'll tell you the details on the way tomorrow." With that she was gone.

The guild was left with slack jaws at Erza's announcement. She had never asked for anyone's help on a job before and was the strongest female mage in Fairy Tail. Whatever this was had to be a big job. Mira held a hand in front of her mouth in shock. "Natsu, Gray, Naruto, and Erza all together on one team. This may be the strongest team Fairy Tail has ever seen." Next to her Lucy's jaw dropped even further.

Magnolia Station the Next Day

"This is bullshit." Gray declared. He then pointed at Natsu and Naruto. "Why the hell do I have to go on a job with these two idiots along with Erza?! I should be enough by myself!"

"This team will never work and I don't even want to be here!" Natsu yelled back.

"What the hell is Erza thinking?!" Naruto exclaimed. "We'll just get in each other's way!"

The trio continued to argue and make a general scene in the middle of the train station, much to Lucy's chagrin. "Just pretend we don't know them." She advised Happy and Sanji. "I can understand why Gray and Natsu are fighting, but I thought that Naruto got along pretty well with Natsu. Why is he joining in?"

"This always happens." Sanji waved off their behavior. "Naruto is fine if he is with either Gray or Natsu, but when you put the three of them together it goes downhill fast. Natsu and Gray can barely be in the same room without at least starting an argument and when Naruto is stuck with them he can't stay out of it."

"I'd think that he would have more self-restraint than that." Lucy muttered.

"No, I mean that he literally can't stay out of it. Natsu and Gray will drag him in without fail every single time no matter what he does." Sanji clarified. "It's actually quite amusing sometimes."

Lucy sweatdropped at that, but decided to let it go. "Why are you here, Lucy?" Happy's question got her attention and she looked down at the cat sitting beside her.

"Mira-san asked me to keep an eye on those three while Erza wasn't looking. She said something about not trusting you two to do it."

"That's ridiculous!" Sanji declared. "I am perfectly capable of taking care of these shitty bastards. Watch." Before Sanji could make a move to break up the fight, Erza arrived with a giant cart of luggage and he took off in her direction with a cry of "Erza-chan!"

'And that explains that.' Lucy thought as she watched the cat fawn over the armor-wearing mage.

Erza looked her way and a flash of recognition appeared in her eyes. "Ah, you were that new girl from yesterday."

Lucy bowed to Erza. "I'm the new member, Lucy." She introduced herself. "Mira-san asked me to come along. I'll try to help as much as possible."

"You were the new member that the guild was talking about yesterday. I heard that you took down a gorilla mercenary yourself, good job." Erza congratulated her.

"That was Natsu and it wasn't a gorilla." Lucy mumbled.

Erza acted as if she hadn't heard her. "The job might be risky, but I'm sure that you'll be fine." She reassured her.

"Risky!" Lucy yelled.

"I don't know what the job is about and I don't care, but I'll help you on one condition." Natsu told the redhead.

Next to him Naruto and Gray balked at Natsu's boldness and back away from him slightly. "I'd do it for free." Gray stammered out and Naruto nodded vigorously.

"What is it?" Erza asked.

"When we get back I want you to fight me!" Natsu declared.

Now everyone balked at Natsu's request and Naruto and Gray stepped away from him even farther. "Do you have a death wish?" Gray hissed at him. "You got destroyed last time!"

"I'm different from back then." Natsu brushed him off.

Erza closed her eyes and gave a small smile. "You really have grown up." She remarked. "I accept."

Natsu was engulfed in flames as he cried out. "Now I'm all fired up! Let's do this!" He then ran onto the train while still on fire causing another panic.

"Well you guys have fun with that. Sanji and I are going to-" Naruto's excuse was cut off when Sanji kicked him into the train car.

"I'm not flying your dead ass the whole way there." He told the blond. "Suck it up and stop being a baby about it." He then grabbed hold of Erza's cart and started to drag it to the luggage car. "Don't worry, Erza-chan. I'll take care of these for you."

Erza nodded her thanks and the remaining mages boarded the train.

Later on the Train

Naruto and Natsu were both leaning against each other as they had matching sickly expressions. The Dragon Slayer pair had been miserable ever since the train had started moving. Lucy sat next to them with a look of pity on her face as she tried her best to comfort them and make sure they didn't try to escape out the windows again.

"Man, you guys suck." Gray told the motion sick pair. "Go sit somewhere else if you're going to get sick, or better yet, don't ride the damn train."

"I feel bad for them even if I've seen it before." Lucy sympathetically said.

"I guess there's no other way," Erza said before patting the seats on either side of her. "You two, come sit by me." The Dragon Slayers swapped seats and were now on both sides of Erza.

"How is this supposed to hel-" Naruto began to ask, but was cut off when Erza slammed his head into Natsu's and the pair were both knocked out instantly.

"That should ease their pain." Erza remarked while the other mages looked at her with terrified expressions. Sanji had originally been jealous that he had to switch seats away from his Erza-chan, but was now over it.

"I've only seen Natsu and Naruto's magic before. What kind of magic do you use Erza-san?" Lucy asked after realizing that she barely knew anything about her conscious partners.

"Erza's magic is really pretty. When she uses it her enemies' blood goes everywhere." Happy told her while eating a fish.

"Not really. I think Gray's magic is much prettier." Erza surprised Gray with her compliment, getting him to demonstrate some of his magic. He put his right fist on his left palm and conjured a blue magical seal. When he moved his hands a Fairy Tail symbol made out of ice was revealed.

"Ice Make Magic." Gray stated. He then became serious as he turned to Erza. "Isn't it about time you told us what we're supposed to be doing?"

Erza nodded. "You're right, let me explain. We are going against the dark guild, Eisenwald. They are planning to cause havoc with a magic called Lullaby.

"Let me start from the beginning. On my way back from the last job I stopped at a mage bar in Onibus. A group of mages were there complaining about something that they couldn't get to because of a seal. Initially I thought it wasn't anything suspicious until I overheard the rest of the conversation. One of the mages said that he would get Lullaby back in three days and to tell Erigor. I didn't recognized the name at the time, but later I realized where I had heard of it before. Erigor, the ace of the dark guild Eisenwald who gained the nickname 'Shinigami' because he only took assassination missions."

Erza slammed her fist onto Natsu's head in anger. "I made a mistake. If I had recognized the name Erigor earlier I could have beaten their plans out of them."

"I see. You want to stop Eisenwald from doing something evil with Lullaby, but you can't handle the entire guild by yourself. So you asked us for help." Gray summarized.

"Yes, the plan is to head straight to Eisenwald."

"Sounds interesting." Gray said with a smile.

Next to him Lucy had broken out into a cold sweat at the mention of fighting a dark guild and had continued to get more terrified as the conversation went on and she grasped the full implications of what she had gotten into. "I should have stayed at the guild!" She moaned.

"Lucy, your skin is making juice." Happy innocently pointed out.

"It's sweat." Lucy said. She knew he was messing with her, but was too dejected to care.

"Don't worry, Lucy-swan! I'll protect you." Sanji told her, but it did little to reassure her.

Onibus Station

Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Happy walked through the station with Sanji trailing behind them pulling Erza's luggage and Naruto behind him still suffering from motion sickness. Lucy turned to Erza and asked her a question that had been bothering her. "Where is Eisenwald's guild at?"

"I don't know. We are here to look for clues." Erza informed her.

Happy looked up from his fish to ask Erza a question of his own. "Where's Natsu?" All of the team members froze in shock and slowly swiveled their heads towards the recently departed train as Happy summed up what they just realized. "And he's gone again."

"This is all my fault. I was too busy telling the story and forgot about him. Someone hit me!" Erza hung her head in shame at her thoughtless actions.

No one was willing to take her up on the offer for fear of future retaliation and stuck with muttering vague excuses and reassurances to her.

Erza then walked up to the train station conductor and demanded that he stopped the train. She soon grew frustrated with his claims that they couldn't stop the train just because one of her friends didn't get off at the right stop. She noticed a lever on the wall nearby and pointed it out to Happy. "Happy."

"Aye!" The cat said. He then flew up and pulled the lever to stop the train.

Erza nodded in satisfaction before taking off to find a way for them to catch up with Natsu.

"This got out of hand." Lucy moaned.

"Indeed." Gray agreed with Lucy, unaware that he had once again stripped down to his boxers. Lucy however, noticed.

"What happened to your clothes?!"

Naruto walked up to them with a hand on his stomach. "Hey guys, what did I miss?" He asked.

Before he got an answer, Erza drove up in a magical four-wheeler and slid to a stop in front of them. "Get it." She told them and revved the engine.

'Oh, Goddammit! Another one.' "You know I think that I'll wait here with the luggage for you guys to get back and-" Sanji once again kicked Naruto into the vehicle.

"Move it!"

As the rest of the mages piled into the car Naruto sat up with a groan and rubbed his incredibly sore head. "Can't a guy finish a sentence around her-" He was cut off once again as Erza peeled out of the city with her maniacal driving.

Thanks to Erza's complete disregard for the speed limit and rules of the road, the Fairy Tail mages were able to catch up to the train in record time. Just as they were getting closer the train started to move again and they were worried that they would be unable to catch up to Natsu in time.

Their worries were laid to rest as the mage in question burst through the window, but a new problem arose. "Why did you jump out of the window?!" Gray yelled in shock from his place on the roof. He never got a reply due to Natsu's forehead connecting to his and a loud hollow sound echoed around the clearing. Erza was forced to slam on the brakes thanks to the two mages falling off.

"Natsu, are you okay?" She asked as the mages got out of the car and checked on them.

Natsu responded from his place on the ground, still disoriented. "Aye."

Gray groaned as he stood up while rubbing his forehead. "That hurt, jerk!"

Natsu leapt to his feet in anger. "Shut up! You left me behind. What the hell!?"

"At least you're unhurt." Erza placed an arm around Natsu before clanging his head off of her breastplate to give him her version of a hug.

"Ow, that hurt! And what do you mean, unhurt? I got into a fight with a weird guy on the train. He said he was from Eisenwald or something, whatever that means." Natsu complained.

Erza proceeded to slap Natsu. "YOU IDIOT! Eisenwald is the people we're after."

"This is the first I've heard of it," Natsu muttered while rubbing his stinging cheek.

"I just explained it. Listen when other people are talking."

Naruto raised a hesitant hand. "This is the first I've heard of it too." He claimed.

"The two of you need to pay more attention when others are talking so you don't miss important information like this." She berated them.

The others sweatdropped at her. 'You knocked them out.' They thought as the three continued to argue.

"Oi, Natsu, what did the guy look like?" Gray interrupted the argument to get them back on track.

"Nothing special, but he did have this weird flute with a three-eyed skull on it." Lucy froze in fear at Natsu's words.

"Lucy what's the matter?" He asked.

"I've heard of that flute. Lullaby, the curse song. Death Magic."

"Curse song? Like a magical song?" Gray asked, confused by her explanation.

"I've only read about them in books, but one of the forbidden magics is Death Curses, right?" Lucy checked.

Erza expanded on Lucy's words. "Yes, magic that sucks the life out of the person it is cast upon."

"Lullaby is even worse. Anyone who hears its song will be killed." This new information stunned the Fairy Tail mages. They then immediately scrambled to get into the four-wheeler to take off after the train. Even the Dragon Slayers went in without a fuss, the fear of what Lullaby could do outweighed their personal grief with transportation.

Oshibana

The four-wheeler came screeching around the corner and nearly took out a market stall as she rushed to the town's train station.

"Erza, slow down!" Gray shouted from the roof after he was almost thrown off for the fifth time. He really should have stayed in the cabin. "The SE plug is gonna burst if you keep this up!"

"We don't have time! Lullaby could kill countless amounts of people." Erza yelled back as she pumped more magic into the four-wheeler.

"What if you run out of magic when we get there?" Gray shot back. "You won't be able to fight when we get there."

"I don't care." She told him. "Worst case scenario I can just beat them with a stick. Besides," She said with a soft smile that Gray couldn't see. "We still have you, Natsu, and Naruto."

Gray had no way to reply to that and chose to hum in annoyance, but said nothing.

Inside the cabin Natsu was lying in a pathetic heap on the floor while Naruto was slumped in the corner opposite of Lucy and Happy. Happy turns to Lucy, "Lucy, I think there's something I'm supposed to tell you." He said.

Lucy curiously turned to Happy, "Really? What is it?"

"I forget. All I can remember is that it had something to do with you."

Natsu chose this moment to try and escape out of the window, forcing Lucy to grab him. "Stop, Natsu! You're going to fall out." Lucy tried in vain to haul the Dragon Slayer back inside. Naruto then made to get out the other window. "Naruto, not you too!" She cried as she attempted to hold both of them inside at the same time.

Meanwhile Happy continued to wrack his brains for what he was supposed to tell Lucy. "If it wasn't Lucy is nauseating what else could it be? Lucy's weird? A fish? Delicious? Healthy? Weird? Weirdo?

"Why do you keep saying that I'm a weirdo?!" Lucy shouted at Happy while she struggled with the Dragon Slayers. Sanji came to her rescue when he pulled the both of them back inside the cart and kicked them into their seats.

"Thanks, Sanji." Lucy said in relief. She then noticed that the mages weren't moving anymore. "Uh, I think you knocked them out."

"All part of the plan." Sanji told her.

Erza noticed smoke in the distance coming from the direction the station was supposed to be in and started to pump more magic into the four-wheeler. 'What is that?' She worried.

Oshibana Station

"Please stay back it's dangerous here." A station worker with a megaphone stood in front of the station shouting orders. "The station is temporarily closed due to a derailment. Please leave the premises." Erza walked up to the worker and put her hand on his shoulder to get his attention.

"Tell me, what is going on inside the station." She demanded.

"Huh? Who are y-?" The station worker was unable to finish his question before Erza grew impatient with him and head-butted him unconscious. She continued to use this method with two more workers before she got an answer. Meanwhile, Lucy had Natsu slung over her shoulders as she watched Erza's somewhat brutal methods while Sanji was dragging Naruto by his feet.

"She doesn't have much use for people who don't answer right away, does she?" Lucy noticed with a sweatdrop on the back of her head.

"You're starting to understand her now." Gray answered with his arms crossed, once again wearing only his boxers.

Erza returned from beating the answers out of the station's staff. "Eisenwald's inside. Let's go."

All the mages gave a cry of agreement and started to head into the station except for two of them.

"Wait, why am I in charge of Natsu?" Lucy cried while she supported the still sick mage.

Sanji spun back to her side and took Natsu off of her hands, dropping the slowly recovering Naruto face first onto the pavement. "I've take care of him for you, Lucy-swan!"

"Damn cat," Naruto muttered as he rubbed his now red face before getting up and ran after the group.

As they walked through the station Erza informed the others of what had happened. "A small military unit went in to try and stop Eisenwald earlier, but haven't returned yet."

They then came across those soldiers who were strewn about the station. They checked on the soldiers to see if they were okay and Naruto used some of his poison to numb their pain and prevent them aggravating their injuries.

After tending to the wounded, the mages rushed further into the station and when they reached the platform they were greeted by the entire Eisenwald guild that were wearing malicious smiles.

"So you did come after all, Fairy Tail flies." A man that was floating above the station while leaning on a giant scythe that had a skull on the top chuckled darkly. He was a tall, lean, and slightly muscular man with spiky, silver hair that hung down on the left side of his face. His attire consisted of a black scarf, no shirt, a long ragged hakama skirt under a black cloth with a shorter cream skirt used as a belt, geta sandals, and bandages wrapped around his forearms that led to black gloves with a gray 'X' on the back. He had dark eyes and sharp features with several tattoos under his eyes, on his torso, and down arms.

"Are you Erigor?" Erza asked. The man chuckled again in reply.

Lucy tried in vain to snap Natsu out of his motion sickness induced stupor. "Wake up, Natsu! It's time to work."

"It's no use. Natsu went from a train, to the four-wheeler, to you. It's a triple knockout combo." Happy informed Lucy.

"I'm considered transportation?! And why isn't Naruto still out of it?"

"Because I'm awesome," Naruto grinned cheekily, ignoring the snort he heard from Kyubi.

A mage with black hair tied back into a spiky ponytail on top of his head scowled when he saw Natsu. "You damn flies. Because of you Erigor got mad at me!" At the sound of his voice Natsu's eyes snapped open.

"What are you bastards planning to do with Lullaby?" Naruto shouted at the dark guild. "Tell us and we may take it easy on you."

Erigor laughed and flew up to the station's speakers. "You don't know? What do train stations have?"

"He's flying!" Lucy stated in shock.

"He's using Wind Magic." Happy pointed out.

Erza was more focused on what Erigor was implying, "Are you planning to broadcast Lullaby?!" She was appalled at his plan and the deaths he would cause.

Erigor once again laughed at the Fairy Tail mages. "Thousands of nosy people are outside this station right now. Maybe if I were even to raise the volume the whole town might hear it. The Curse Song."

Naruto bared his teeth in a snarl. "You would commit mass-murder on thousands of innocent people. Why?!" He demanded an answer from the so-called Shinigami.

Erigor answered Naruto's question with an evil grin. "For cleansing. A cleansing of fools who flaunt their rights while living their lives. Unaware that some people have had those rights stolen. It is a sin to live obliviously in this unfair world. So the Shinigami has come to punish them.

"Your rights were taken away because you kept taking illegal jobs! How will this return your rights?!" Lucy yelled.

"We don't want rights. We want power! With that we can wipe the past clean and control our future."

"You're all idiots!" Lucy said.

"Too bad you flies will be unable to see the new age of darkness." The spiky haired mage said. He knelt down and sent out his shadow to attack Lucy.

She stepped back in fear of the sudden attack and would have been hit if Natsu hadn't burst to his feet and destroyed the shadow hand with his flames. "I knew I recognized that voice." He said before smirking at the mage. "Now we're on a real battleground, Kageyama." He told the mage.

The Fairy Tail mages squared up to the dark guild members as the tension between them rose. "There sure are a lot of them." Natsu remarked.

"And we get to fight them all." Naruto said with a smile.

"This is Fairy Tail's strongest team." Lucy announced. "Prepare yourselves."

"I leave the rest to you." Erigor told his guild. "I have a flute to play." He rose higher into the air and twirled his scythe. "Show them the power of Eisenwald!" Erigor then left by flying through one of the station's windows.

"Natsu, Gray, the two of you go after Erigor. If you work together you will be able to beat 'The Shinigami'." Erza turned to the two mages who were currently engaged in another one of their glaring contests. "Are you listening to me?"

The pair suddenly became friends again at Erza's words. "Aye!"

"Then go!"

Natsu and Gray quickly left to chase after Erigor. As Eisenwald watched them run away they realized that they were going after Erigor and one of them conjured up shadowy threads and started to chase after them. "I, Rayule-sama, will take them down."

"I'm coming too. That bastard has to pay!" Kageyama put his hand on the ground forming a gold and black magical seal, before he disappeared into his own shadow.

The remaining Fairy Tail members shifted into a battle stance as they prepared to take down the remaining members. "What are the four of you going to do to all of us?" One of Eisenwald's mages taunted.

Naruto gave off a vicious smile. "Watch." He told them before a purple haze began to surround his body and his face was covered by it so that only his two eyes remained, glowing a terrifying red.

A/N: And done. So that didn't quite end as planned, but I think it went pretty good. Like I said it's mainly canon for now, but change is coming so just wait. Until July, later.
