She knows that Jaelyn a tough sell and had to tell her side of the story. To Nikki, however, she was nothing but understanding as she always had been.

Following a short visit with Nikki, Paul got Jaelyn back to his place. Despite the loads of Jaelyn's stuff mixed in, there was only one thing Jaelyn wanted at the moment. A year had gone by since the ordeal and life kept getting better. Jaelyn had left her job at Underground began attending classes at GCU. Paul then noted Jaelyn's incredible ability to sketch exceptional clothing designs and encouraged her to follow her dreams. Soon she and Chelsea teamed up Jack's immediate approval began working at Jabot.

Everything was well and this time Paul was really ready for the next step—asking Jaelyn to marry him. When every resident found out they all wanted to help out—soon preparations were under way and he enlisted Chelsea to help with getting Jaelyn ready. As the day got closer Paul began sending his lady subtle clues about the special day.

May 29, the day of the big surprise arrived. As Nikki and Victoria helped with the decorations at the park while he got himself ready Jaelyn was just getting home after what seemed like a long day. She been getting fun and cryptic texts from her beloved and was wondering about what is going and she intended on finding out. Once she got home was ready she headed out. The problem was, no sooner had she done so Right as she reached hers and Paul's apartment she felt someone tug on her sleeve scaring her at first but when she saw who it was she let out a feigned shock, "Hey you know that is not funny."

Chelsea shrugged and said, "Ha, got you. Anyways we need to get ready for tonight and no you are not doing any work today. Let's go and get you pampered and off to secret surprise."

Without allowing a word out of Jaelyn they pulled her away from the door and to a spa to get ready. As Chelsea drove Jaelyn began to wonder what was going on and continued to do so.

A few hours later she had her hair, facial, makeup, manicure and pedicure done and now got to pick our her dress and shoes. Jaelyn was then shown a rack of dresses and as she was leaning towards a blue number but then she saw the short red number she knew that was the dress to pick. Though she never got to meet The Duchess she could feel Mrs. C. pointing her to the dress and the choice was clear.

Nevertheless she had another surprise coming. As soon as Chloe was able to dry the happy tears she exclaimed, "Okay now before we let you go there is one more thing, close your eyes and no peeking!"

Giving them a fake playful growl she closed her eyes and allowed Chelsea to lead her door and as Chloe held the door open and Chelsea led her through the door when Jaelyn heard, "Okay you can open them."

Jaelyn did she let out a gasp, there parked at the curb was a horse carriage fit for a princess waiting for her. Coming out of her surprise she turned around and hugged her best friend and said, "Thank you."

Chelsea replied, "Hey you really deserved the pampering!"

With assistance from the coach driver, she was on her way to the surprise. After the carriage had left the salon, Chelsea squealed at how her assignment went off without a single hitch. She went to get ready for a celebratory party for Paul and Jaelyn.

Upon arriving at the Katherine Chancellor Park the coach came to a complete stop. After getting out the coach she began walking and soon saw a path comprised of variety of flower petals and followed it. Along the way as she admired the flower decorations comprising of delphiniums, freesias, irises, calla lilies and of course roses and she noted on how there was no one else in the park. However, as soon as she saw him it felt like the outside world had vanished and it was only them—he looked so handsome and sharp in his tuxedo. When he saw her walk to him wearing a short red strapless dress with her hair curled and styled to cascade her right shoulder he was at a loss for words.

As she walked closer both their smiles grew wider soon he had her hand in his and he pulled her close to him and gave her an affectionate kiss and said, "Wow Jaelyn you look gorgeous and stunning and…"

Obviously now he was having trouble forming words let alone recite the beginning part of what he wanted to say. Luckily Bosson's "Beautiful" came on Paul asked, "Jaelyn may I have this dance?"

Feeling her smile grow bigger, Jaelyn replied, "Of course you may Paul."

Paul then took her right hand and placed it on his shoulder, took her left hand, and once he had his left hand on the small of her back they began to dance to the song and soon he was holding her close to him.

Towards the end of the song Paul saw the relaxed look on her face he knew now was the time to surprise her. As the song came to an end he gently lifted up her chin and gave her a sweet kiss and said, "My darling Jaelyn, I was wondering would it be possible if we danced at our wedding."

Even though she loved being held in Paul's arms, the revere began to fade when she heard what she thought she heard. Looking up at him and she saw a big smile lighting up his face caused her to want to make sure she heard correctly she asked, "Wait what did you say Paul?"

Paul knew he gotten her attention and repeated what he had said, "I said I was wondering would it be possible if we danced at our wedding."

The statement had fully registered in her brain she unwound her arms from him and her hands flew to her mouth and she let out a covered gasp. Taking her hands into his Paul cleared his throat and said, "Jaelyn when I met you I couldn't form any intelligible words because I somehow already knew you are special. Each date and all the time we spent together were magical. When you were taken the mere thought of losing you gone was too much bear. Now I know my life will be complete with you beside me to share it. You deserve the very best and someone who will back you up without limits, let you grow without borders and love you without end."

Pausing briefly Paul kissed her hands and with the smile on his face getting bigger, he got out a ring blue ring box, and added, "I have been carrying this with me for a year, waiting for the right time to ask. I was getting ready to ask a while back but those plans got put on hold when you were taken from me…now the time is right."

As Paul got down on one knee he heard his knee creak and he thought I sure hope this is the last time I am doing this. He opened the box and Jaelyn to let out another gasp this time louder and after a short minute he asked, "Jaelyn Hamilton will you let me be the one, will you marry me?"

Completely overcome in happy emotions Jaelyn saw ring pesented to her, a breathtaking Princess Cut Princess Diamond Engagement Ring set in in 18k Gold. With mists in her eyes she too deep breathes to try and calm her fast beating heart and before she was able to any intelligible words. When she was ready, she said in a majestic voice, "Paul Williams I am the lucky one to have found you. I am forever yours, yes I will absolutely marry you!"

Feeling his heart beat even faster than before Paul was overjoyed, the woman he had fallen so deep in love with and had almost lost had agreed to become Mrs. Williams. Taking the ring out of the box he slowly slid it on to the fourth finger of her left hand got up and pulled her in for a sweet and loving kiss.

As they were enjoying their peaceful surrounding they suddenly heard cheers and clap come from all around and then when Paul and Jaelyn looked around the saw many of their friends come out from where they were.

Yes the celebration was just starting.
