I was extremely motivated to finish this and post it yesterday but I got distracted, lol. Here it is! The newest chapter! I hope you like it!

Enjoy!

It's amazing how time moves blindly and quickly when you're in high school. Most may disagree but Blossom was sure that these last two weeks have gone by in a blur. Adding onto the excessive amount of homework these teachers give every day. It's no wonder that any information is barely retained. Not that it was any challenge for Blossom, the real challenge was keeping up fake relationship with Brick. Not to mention her maniac sisters who have been mildly subdued by their extracurricular activities. She only sees them during the mornings, during lunch, and late afternoons now.

Sometimes she would go see them during their games or events like tonight for instance. Bubbles is having her first choir recital and she's going to perform a solo as well. She sat in the middle row in between Buttercup and Brick and his brothers. She was surprised to find the auditorium so packed full of family members and friends. She didn't think such an event would draw almost as big as a crowd as the sports game.

She felt Brick shift closer to her and she laid a hand his shoulder. She heard his heartbeat accelerate and smiled. Although she didn't carry any feelings for her, she felt grateful that he never tried to push her into anything she didn't want to do. They've been together for two weeks and they haven't even kissed, much to her sisters' surprises. She wasn't trying to sleep with him or anything, she was just trying to get his trust and if soft touches make his heart soar then so be it. She's got to get into the professor's house.

"What is Bubbles singing do you know?"

"Honestly no, she wouldn't tell us nor would she sing anywhere near us. Right Buttercup?"

"Girl kept on saying that she was going to make everyone her bitch with her voice so that's something to look forward too." The boys chuckled and so did Blossom remembering when Bubbles said those exact words. That girl's ego is bigger than anything ever.

"I've never been to a recital and I must say, these people clean up quite nicely," Butch said pointing at the teacher and a student talking near the stage. They were both wearing very clean and fancy suits and were greeting people who came up to them.

"The girls are wearing black dresses while the guys wear black suits. During Christmas time they change the color to red in order to be festive and it looks really nice…"

Blossom looked up at Boomer who had a far away look in his eyes. Last week he found out that Robin had cheated on him which led to a very bad and loud breakup at school. Robin didn't look nearly as torn as he does but she felt bad about him. Bubbles said all the cheerleaders stood by Robin and supported her wanting to move on, but it was clear that everyone felt bad for Boomer. He was after all, the school prince. Three years with someone is a long time and she can't imagine being committed to someone for that long. But if they can do it, then Blossom can handle three months with Brick.

"You guys didn't have to come you know, not if you didn't want too." Brick looked at Boomer who only shifted lower into his seat, "Bubbles is my friend and I'm here to support her first show with my other friends. This is not about her."

Oh, that's right, Robin is in choir.

Over the week the five of them became friends because Brick likes hanging out with Blossom and the girls. Boomer joined after since the cheerleaders sit with the football players and he didn't want to hang near Robin. Butch only dropped by once but that was when Buttercup wasn't with them. He was, okay. She had lunch detention for having her phone on during class. Blossom concluded he was only here to show support for his brokenhearted brother. It was interesting seeing that dynamic between them compared to her and her sisters. She wondered if they were able to have what these guys have. She glance at Buttercup who had her head on her arm with her eyes closed. She was out at night again doing who knows what and Blossom frowned. No I don't think we could have what they have…

The lights dimmed and the audience hushed when the spotlight shown on a grand piano stage right. Bubbles appeared wearing a black strapless gown, her hair tied in an elegant ponytail with two curled strands of hair framing her face. She sat down and got in position to play.

"She knows how to play the piano?" Buttercup asked Blossom who let her mouth in surprise. She had no idea Bubbles could play and never figured her as the type of person to play the piano.

Bubbles took a deep breath before her fingers delicately played the keys, then she sung

"Closed off from love, I didn't need the pain.

Once or twice was enough, but it was all in vain.

Time starts to pass, before you know it, you're froze."

Her voice was soft, steady, and it was deep enough to almost sound like Leona Lewis. Blossom was impressed.

"But something happened for the very first time with you.

My heart melts into the ground, found something true

And everyone's looking round, thinking I'm going crazy."

The remaining curtains opened to reveal the rest of the choir alongside their instructor ready to sing the next verse.

"But I don't care what they say

I'm in love with you

They try to push me away

But they don't know the truth

My hearts crumpled by the vein, that I keep on closing

You cut me open and …"

From the corner of her eye, Blossom saw Buttercup slowly get up. "Imma go to the bathroom real quick, hopefully Bubbles doesn't see me."

Blossom nodded her head and focused her attention back to Bubbles.

Buttercup quietly slid out the room and was blinded by the light outside. She squinted her eyes and walked into the bathroom. Once she was done, she went out and washed her hands. She splashed water onto her face to wake herself up. She hadn't gotten any sleep last night because she stayed late doing homework. Blossom was very strict about the girls maintaining at least average grades but even to maintain average grades, some work had to be done. Much to Buttercups distaste. That and other things came up which Blossom didn't need to know. That was her business. She looked down at her knuckles and her vision flashed to an image of last night; her bruised, bloodied hand forming into a fist and then stretching it out. The screams still had her ears ringing and she took a deep breath. It's over now, you can get back to normal.

She heard the bathroom door open and reached up to grab a towel but she froze when she saw the man that stood in the doorway. He stood 6 feet tall in the doorway, a small look of shock in his face as he stared at Buttercup. She saw his eyes glance down when her fists began to glow. She took deep, ragged breaths and the glow on her fists brightened. She stared at his deep brown eyes and growled with ferocity, "What the fuck are you doing here?"

The young man was about to take one step forward but debated against it when her pupils shrank as if daring him to move. "I had to make sure…"

Buttercup felt her fist grow hot as she dug her nails deeper into her palms, desperately trying to subdue the anger she felt bubbling inside her. She had to remind herself where she was and who was surrounding her and the light died down. What is he doing here? How did he find her? Do the others know she's here? She felt her heart throbbing painfully.

They stood there for a couple minutes staring at each other. Neither knowing what to do in the present situation. He cleared his throat, "Well spice I'm sorry for this."

"Wha-"before she could finish her answer she felt something - no she heard something - slice through the skin of her lower abdomen and let out a silent scream of agony. It was a pain she had never felt before, it shocked her so much she collapsed to her knees and fell back. She could only gasp hard and when she lifted her eyes to see him, he was staring at her with actual sad eyes. Eyes she wished she could tear from his head. She hated that look. "Y-You a-ss-hole," she stuttered feeling her body jerk in agony. She bit back a scream as she flung to the side feeling something burn in her veins.

"I don't know what you're doing here spice, but I'm here on a mission from Hector and you will not get in my way."

Buttercup groaned as she heard him leave. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her cellphone. She pinched the bullet in her open wound and slowly began pulling out fragments with one had while she opened up message. She felt her vision blur and began seeing black spots. She pulled up the voice recorder and clearly said, "Girl emergency come ASAP" and collapsed onto the floor once it send. She could vaguely feel the floor become slippery as her blood dripped.

"It sucks that we're superhuman and still get periods like – OH MY GOD!" Buttercup huffed and strained to look up at Blossom who began grabbing paper towels by the bunch and covering the floor. Buttercup gave props to the girl for her fast thinking. Blossom was about to inspect her wound when she pushed her hand away, "Don't touch it, don't touch it, it hurts."

"I have to inspect – "

"No Blossom," Buttercup hissed harshly. "There's only one thing in the world that can do harm like this to a person like me and it is seeping through my veins right now and we don't know what happens if you touch my blood."

Blossom's eyes grew wide but she backed away. She grabbed more paper towels and wet them and began scrubbing the floor careful not to get any on her. Buttercup felt her wound try to close itself, but she knew that her insides were chorizo and that the it might take a while. "Did the person say anything? Was it that man that I say go inside the auditorium?"

I don't know what you're doing here spice, but I'm here on a mission from Hector and you will not get in my way. Buttercup groaned. "Bubbles is in danger.."

Blossom jerked her head up, "What?"

"Bubbles is in fucking danger GO!" Blossom ran out the bathroom and burst through the auditorium doors just when she heard the click. Seconds passed before she screamed pointing at the young man standing in front of the emergency exit across the room. "SHOOTER, HE'S GONNA SHOOT!" When gun shot it was like time went slow. The people around him ducked for cover, Brick flew and tackled Blossom to the ground. Boomer manage to reach Bubbles, who barely registered the gun shot, but the second bullet managed to thinly slice through Boomers arm who groaned in pain as he tried to get Bubbles out of the way. Before he could shoot another bullet, Butch collided into him sending them flying out the exit doors. Once he deduced Blossom was safe, Brick flew out the doors and Blossom quickly scramble to her feet.

"Blossom!" She turned around to find Bubbles come to the stage with what blood down her shoulder, "Boomer got scathed by the bullet, but I think it has the serum!"

Blossom already knew that, but she quickly thanked Bubbles for letting her know because Bubbles knew that that information would serve useful later. She bolted outside to find the young man avoiding Brick and Butchs attempts to blast him or injure him. She was impressed by how he was keeping up but now was not the time for that. Every once in a while, he would shoot a bullet and through Blossoms quick eye she saw that the bullet was going to directly hit Brick.

"Brick!" she yelled stopping him in his tracks just before the bullet would've gone through him. The young man hesitated to shoot again and, in that moment, Butch tackled him and knocked him out against the concrete. Brick flew to Blossom, anger flaming in his eyes, "What are you doing here!"

Blossom looked at the young man who was lying limp on the side of the road before looking at Brick willing the tears from her eyes. That's what any other person would do in this situation right? Cry a lot. Brick didn't need to know the fury she felt towards the limp man for exposing Buttercup. For threatening her mission. She hoped he would stay unconscious or else she make sure he never wakes up again. "B-Brick, h-he attacked B-buttercup." Maybe the hiccups over did it but he forgot he was mad at her.

"Where is she?" she heard him say while she continued to glare at the body. She could still hear his breathing and see his chest rise and fall. Oh, what she could give to snap his neck. "Blossom, where is she?" Brick had grabbed her shoulders shaking her to the present and she almost forgot who they were talking about. Her body moved before her words and she was back inside. Brick just followed her knowing that she was too in shock to speak. She led him to the girl's bathroom and when they walked in, Buttercup was still on the floor where Blossom left her but this time she was bleeding from a cut just underneath her hairline. Blossom took note that there was not more blood on the floor but on the sink and she had zipped up the lower part of her sweater to not show the bullet hole on her shirt. She still had blood on her knees, but it only looks like it dripped onto. It was believable.

She grimaced when Brick helped her up and she looked to Blossom, "Is Bubbles okay?"

Blossom nodded as she also help Buttercup, careful not to damage her internal wounds. Brick led them outside where they could hear the ambulance sound. "Did he say something about Bubbles." Buttercup slowly nodded, "He was going to attack the choir, he didn't say why."

"Okay then get ready to tell everything to the police."

Blossom gave her a hard look and Buttercup gave her the same look back. Brick left them at the hands of one the first responders and set out looking for his brothers. There were crowds of outside the school all trying to leave campus. He found Boomer sitting by a police car with a cloth wrapped around his bicep, talking to Bubbles. "Guys, you alright?"

They both looked equally relieved to see him, but Boomer soon stood tall like he was ready to report to his commander. He was going to say something, but Bubbles took over Bricks line of vision, "Where are my sisters? Are they okay? Who was that guy and why was he trying to kill the choir?" Bubbles had an irking suspicion that the bullet was directly for her but hopefully the boys don't connect the dots. He was going to get a bunch more rounds before Butch got to him, so it does look like he was aiming for everyone, but we'll see.

"There by the ambulance near the gates. Buttercup had an altercation with him that resulted in a head injury, but it doesn't look that bad. She might just need staples."

Bubbles paled and quickly ran to where Brick pointed the girls were at. Boomer spoke up as soon as she left, "Brick this guy knew what he was doing when he came to the school. The bullets are induced with the serum. I saw with my own two eyes; they explode when coming into contact with something hard." At this moment Brick noticed him rub his eye and when he pulled his hand away, he cringed when he saw his iris deform as if someone had moved it inward.

"My eye stings like a bitch from a drop that landed in it and my arm, even if it was a scratch, is throbbing. If it wasn't for Bubbles who cleaned it out, I think I would've lost all feeling." Brick remained thoughtful and glanced at the ambulance that was holding the shooter. Butch was inside making sure he was strapped down and with gloved hands took the gun, that was now in a bag, and walked out.

"I guess we know AX works then," Brick said with dark humor.

Boomer searched his face, "You think the Professor knows."

Brick sighed, taking off his cap and ran a hand through his hair. "Fuck I don't know."

Bubbles stopped a few steps before reaching Blossom and Buttercup and she felt her hairs stand at the back of her neck. Buttercup had an open cut that stretched from her temple to in between her eye. She looked like something from a horror movie. She slowly walked up to Buttercup and whispered, "You're actually bleeding."

"Yes Bubbles, we bleed." Bubbles turned to Blossom who continued to stare at the cut daring it to disappear from her head and expose them all. She could feel her anger from where she stood and glanced curiously to Buttercup who was gripping her lower abdomen, the right side. The sweater she wore was a deep black, but she could smell the strong scent of blood just spewing from her the more she breathed. It was also beginning to stain. Bubbles sent a panicked glance to Blossom who noticed the growing stain and she tapped the shoulders of one of the doctors. "Can you please sew her up here so that we can leave?" She showed the desperate and tired look on her face and the doctor turned to Buttercup, "You questioned by the police yet?"

"Yeah."

"Are you sure you want to do this here; it's going to hurt?"

Buttercup laughed before she coughed, "More than being smashed onto a sink, I don't think so."

He frowned, "You might have a concussion, I don't think I should let you go."

Bubbles stood in front of him and grabbed his arms, "Our sister has gotten many concussions before and we know that if she does get worst, we will take her to the hospital but right now she needs her bed, she needs to rest. We will take care of her."

"Sorry young lady, but she needs to go to the hospital to get checked. She was hit on a sink, now that's got to have left many damages."

Bubbles looked at Blossom who ran her hands through her soft, orange hair. She was very frustrated with the situation. She proceeded to have a staring contest with the first responder, and he did the same both trying to keep their ground in the situation when Buttercup spoke up. "She's not wrong, this isn't my first flesh wound. I was/am a problem and I know how to clean my own wounds and do my own stitches." The first responder gasp when he realized that she had actually tied her own stitches and cleaned her wound. Besides the stitches, it didn't even look like she got hurt. Bubbles grinned as she jumped off the ambulance. Blossoms quick eye noticed that the bleeding from her wound was getting worse and was now leaking onto the top of her jeans. They turned to the first responder and said in unison, "Can we go home now?"

His face grew tense, "You kids are insane, come straight to the hospital if anything happens." With that, he left.

"I still feel a bullet piece inside of me, lets go take it out before it has any more lasting effects," Buttercup informed the girls as she leaned against Blossom for support.

"I was beginning to think that guy would never leave us alone." Blossom grumbled placing an arm around the injured girl to keep her steady.

As much as she wanted to leave without Brick noticing, he noticed. He remarked her for trying to leave like she did the night of the party. He was, "worried sick", he said. He made sure they had a quick police ride to their apartment home, to which Buttercup was grateful for.

Upon arriving home, they laid Buttercup across the couch and Blossom ordered Bubbles to go get a wet towel while she went looking for her first aid kit. When she went back downstairs, Bubbles was cleaning up the dried blood stain on her stomach. "Blossom, I can see her wound throbbing? Is that normal? Look it's opening then closing…"

The wound was covered by a thin layer of fresh, pink skin that would rip then grow back every time she took a breath. "The little fucker is still inside me; I can feel it shifting."

Blossom sat on the coffee table, put on some gloves and reached for her scalpel inside her kit. Bubbles looked over her and her eyes widened when she caught sight of the "kit," which to her looked like a whole emergency room in a bag. "BC you might feel a pinch and a whole lot of discomfort," she reached in and slowly lengthened the cut to give her more room to go in and explore. Buttercup grabbed a nearby pillow and appropriately screamed into it while Bubbles kept legs down so she wouldn't kick up as much.

She cringed when she heard the slosh sounds of her organs being moved around by Blossom. She better find the piece quick because she was so close to vomiting onto Buttercup, who was handling the situation a lot better than earlier. "I can no longer feel a thing." She eventually said, "It stopped shifting."

"That's because some of your flesh engulfed it. I can feel it inside your walls?" Blossom hesitated to continue, "I'm going to have to cut again."

Buttercup groaned, "Just get this fucker out of me before I become 1% metal!"

When Blossom made the first cut, a laser of blood shot out and hit Bubbles on her forehead. She made an incredible effort to not shriek in anguish and horror, even though she's seen a lot of fair share of blood, the fact that it shot at her like that was intolerable. Blossom snickered and she threw her the nastiest glare before diverting her attention back to Buttercup who was hiding under a pillow. She hated being put in this position and eventually remembered what got them in this position in the first place. "Hey BC, who the fuck was trying to kill me?"

"Got it," Blossom hummed before standing up to go throw it in a baggie. To Bubbles she looked like an evil scientist who found, once in a lifetime specimen, she looked so proud. The wound on Buttercups stomach closed up immediately and Buttercup felt a little bit less weak and pain. She peaked out of the pillow to find that the other two were waiting for her to answer the question.

"His name is Mitch Michelson, he's a hit man –"

"That is a stupid name.." Bubbles interrupted folding her arms in front of her chest.

"Yeah I know, but anyways, Hector hired him."

Bubbles grew silent and only stared at Buttercup. Blossom looked between the two of them, suspicious but also curious, "I don't understand, why is he? I haven't talked to him in like two years, I haven't done anything.

Why would he – "

"Bubbles I don't know, but he's got my ex on our asses and a simple concussion won't hold him down. It's only a matter of time before he escapes the hospital."

Bubbles brought her hands to her mouth in surprise, "Oh my god noooo."

Blossom, annoyed at this entire conversation, sighed, "So we got revenge of the exes to deal with. I thought I told you guys to cut all past communications."

"Where you like not listening Miss. Judgy Pants, it's been years since I've spoken with Mitch."

"Could you be a little less condescending Blossom, god, you were there when we killed dozens of drug lords at the cemetery and I will not tolerate this attitude from you." Bubbles shot up to her feet and grab Blossoms' arms in revelation, "WE KILLED HIS DAD AT THE CEMETERY."

She began walking back and forth in the room with the other two watching her, "But so many other fathers and mothers died that night and their kids haven't strived for revenge because it's pointless, I can kill them all with two fingers. I wouldn't have expected Hector to come after me …

But he knows who I am, but he doesn't know about chemical X? He doesn't know how I got my powers, that news was very recent and is slowly making it's way to the worldwide media."

"Even so Bubbles, a lot of the X files are federally protected and under heavy firewall security. I haven't even managed to unlock it. I don't think the file is online, all we know is that there is somewhere out there with a way to get rid of us." Blossom cut in before flying upstairs and coming down with her laptop in hand.

"So how did he get his hands on the serum?" Bubbles asked sitting back in her place by Buttercup who was still laying on her back.

The sound of typing overtook the room and Blossom asked, "Where would Mitch hide out BC?"

"Mitch would hide out a city or town next door, far away from here. His alias is always Jackson Nicholas and almost always chooses the shitty motels."

"Apparently also shitty names," Bubbles said under her breath to which Buttercup nodded in agreement.

While Blossom worked to search for him, Bubbles turned to Buttercup in curiosity. She whispered, "How old were you when you met him. I've known Hector since I was a little girl."

"He helped get out of the orphanage… The bastard saved my life," Buttercup turned to Bubbles with cold, empty eyes, "He made me the monster I am today."

To some extent, Bubbles could relate to that claim. Except for her, her creator wasn't Hector.

It was Richard.

"I found him, he's in a motel next to the prison in Citysville."

Bubbles scoffed, "You're kidding."

"I wish I was." Blossom shut her laptop and tied her hair up in a ponytail, "Gear up girls, we're looking at a long night."

Buttercup was still too weak to fly, so the girls opted for a fun and exciting bus ride into Citysville. The city far opposite from the city they were in. The streets were dirtier and littered with homeless people and graffiti. The way everything was placed, you could take a picture and hang it up as contemporary art. The girls were each dressed in black with scarves wrapped their mouths.

They made it to the motel after 4 bus rides and had no trouble breaking into the room. Blossom went in first, fists lightly glowing pink. The room was dark, dimly lighted by the blue light outside. She could see clothes and paper littered around the room. She motioned for the other girls to walk in before turning on the lights. On the wall in front of the bed, where the tv should have been were pictures of Bubbles from the last few days plastered everywhere. Occasionally you would see the back of the other girl's head, but it was mostly Bubbles. Bubbles walking to school, walking home, in cheer practice, at a couple games and even some where taken in her classroom. There were also a couple pictures of the boys with red X's on their foreheads. There was also the flyer for the choir recital that happened today with Bubbles name on it in the center.

'Solo staring Bubbles …"

"Wow," Bubbles stretched out the word. "Clearly I found my biggest fan."

"Search the area, we need find something that might show us how Hector got his hands on the serum."

"Yes Ma'am", Buttercup and Bubbles said in unison before they split off looking for clues. Bubbles began by opening drawers and throwing out random weapons and clothes. Blossom went looking in the bathroom which housed stacks of briefcases. Buttercup lifted a nearby picture frame and stared at it. It was herself, with long black hair, and an actual smile on her face. She could hardly recognize herself. It was the day; she left the orphanage. She had met a mysterious boy earlier that day who told her he could help her out, if only she went on a date with him. Buttercup did not like talking to people but, she found him interesting enough that she agreed. That night, he went in and killed all the adults and let all the kids go.

The picture was taken on their first date that night. Happy little Buttercup didn't know what's coming.

She set the picture frame down before crouching under the bed and reached a hand into the hole in the mattress she knew was there. She pulled out a folder. "He has like ten different computers and all of them password protected, this is going to take forever."

"Don't worry Blossom, I think Buttercup found something," Bubbles said sitting next to Buttercup on the bed. A box of bullet pellets in her hands, "I also found more of those serum infused bullets. It looks like he got them already made.

"This is what he called, 'his original mission statement', his attempt at being cool, I guess. He doesn't like computers, but he knows that's where everyone normally looks first, hence the ten computers. He always keeps a folder of like what he has to do and what he needs."

She gave the girls one paper at a time and they read through it. "This is like his agenda, then right?"

"Almost…"

"He received a call from Hector like three days ago at like five am. That's when the mission started," Blossom said reading through the papers. "He had to find you Bubbles but all he was given was your picture and the name Hector knew you by – Davina."

"Ugh now you guys know my real name. Bubbles was my stage name since I like entrapping people in like blue orbs before popping them out of existence."

Buttercup looked at her with some humor, "Morbid, nice."

"Oh, the glories of living in a fucked childhood. It says here he got the bullets from some guy who said he worked at the facility where they were making the serum. Someone smuggled them to sell to him with money that Hector gave him."

"Okay but now I have more questions. How did this guy know that Hector wanted revenge on you?"

"I know for a fact that Hector's father was a famous drug dealer, but no one could ever catch him. I know that the cemetery explosion made major news because they identified many famous drug dealers. Maybe this person somehow found a way to contact all their kids and asked around until he found someone who actually knew who you looked like, since no one has seen your real face right?"

Bubbles nodded, "Those who see my face end up dying so yeah, only one person lives to tell the tale."

"Two more Bubbles. Mitch knows and the weasel who works at the facility," Blossom hissed crumpling the paper in her hands. "Now that they know who you are it's only a matter of time before they connect the dots and figure out who we are."

"Hold on leader girl, it says right here that Hector made Mitch promise not to reveal Davina's face. He was confident he'll get the job done, so they didn't want to share your identity until after the job was done." Buttercup chucked, "They didn't factor us into the equation. Mitch doesn't know what Bubbles is doing with us, he probably thinks she's using us. He didn't recognize me until he fully saw my face in the bathroom."

"This is all too much information." Bubbles mumbled, collapsing onto the bed. "All we're doing is theorizing, we don't know what's true and what's not."

"I guess we're just going to ask Mitch," Blossom concluded pointing at the doorknob shaking. All three girls jumped up and hid in different places. Bubbles and Blossom flew to the bathroom, while Buttercup hid under the bed, the folder in her hand.

Mitch burst in, guns cocking, and breathing heavily. He began to grab clothes and papers from the ground and shoving them into a duffel bag.

"Running from something?" Buttercup narrowly missed a bullet that flew by her when Mitch abruptly turned around, alert.

"I told you to stay out of my way." He said ripping the folder from her hands. He shoved past by her and grabbed more things around her. She simply stepped aside and remarked, "And I told you to stay out of my life but here you are. Back in my life."

Mitch smirked, "Don't lie sweetheart, you're happy to see me."

Buttercup grabbed his wrist and bent it backward and he hissed in pain. "Never call me sweetheart." She kicked his legs and he fell to the ground. Buttercup crossed her arms over her chest, "Where did you get those bullets?"

"A friend," he grumbled sitting up. "Is this because I shot you. Look Butters I'm sorry – "

She kicked him in the face and lifted him up by his collar, "Stop, now."

He coughed blood onto to her face, but she did not flinch, instead she slammed him down onto the table. The table collapsing under the sudden weight.

"My, my Buttercup correct me if I'm wrong, but are you scared? Someone finally found a way to kill your problematic ass." He glared at her, "You should be."

She lifted him up and threw him across the room. She could hear Blossom hissing in disapproval. Probably trying to send the message, 'keep it down'. "It hurt like a bitch, but nothing can kill me Mitch. No matter how badly you want it too."

"Some weasel contacted Hector after he heard about the cemetery attack. He said he could help him get revenge as long he helped him kill her off. That way, they had one less X being to worry about. An easy kill.

Or so I thought."

He slowly stood up and frowned at Buttercup, "Do you have any idea how dangerous that girl is? What are you doing with the likes of her?"

Buttercup scoffed, "Oh now you're worried she's going to hurt me."

"Does she know who you are? Buttercup that girl has killed triple the people you have. She's dangerous."

Buttercup grabbed his throat and lifted him from the floor, "I'm dangerous Mitch. Believe it or not, we're friends."

She threw him on the bed before sitting beside him. "Who sold you the bullets."

"I don't know," Mitch coughed, "He was some tall dude who wore a white mask. He wanted to know who she was, but Hector was adamant about no one knowing."

I guess that proves what we were thinking. Buttercup thought standing up.

"I miss you Buttercup. We had a good thing going, it doesn't have to end this way."

Buttercup laughed darkly, "Yes it does." Like lightning she snapped his neck and he was dead.

A few seconds passed by before the other two appeared by her side. When Bubbles grabbed her arm, Buttercup instinctively wiped the tear that managed to slip from her eye. "That felt good right?"

Buttercup numbly nodded.

"You made way too much noise Buttercup. I could hear the people living upstairs muttering about it. We're fortunate they didn't."

"At least we got some answers. That's all that matters now."

Bubbles and Blossom began to roll the body with the covers before the former spoke up, "Now we just have to worry about another problem. This weasel knows who you are Bubbles."

"But Mitch said Hector didn't want anyone to find out? How is that possible?"

"I'm not sure if he knows it's really you but he attacked our school with those bullets and now the weasel knows that one of us goes to the school just by that notion."

"That's true, he gave him the bullets and then he used them on the school so that's got to look almost too perfect." Buttercup said grabbing a lighter she found in his duffel bag.

The girls lit the motel room on fire and on their way home stole a car. No one said anything for the remainder of the night, but the air was tense. They knew that this mission wasn't finished, they knew Hector was going to keep trying to get his revenge. They were expecting it, but Blossom wasn't sure how she was going to handle the possibility of an altercation in the future. If there was someone in the facility who knows about the whereabouts of one, how long until they figure out the rest of them. Does the whole facility know now? Will they tell the boys? Will they search the school now? Blossom didn't know. However, measures need to be taken to ensure the protection of their identities. Before they lit the room on fire, she managed to snatch the box of bullets. Maybe there could be a way for her to find out some more information about it, but that could be dealt with another night. Right now, she was tired. They all were.

She turned to face Buttercup who was driving the car and frowned. For a moment she worried about what must be going on in her mind. They overheard the entire conversation and it didn't seem like a happy reunion, but in its own way it had a happy ending. She was free of him.

Buttercup didn't feel free. She could still hear his voice haunting her mind and she was contemplating ripping her own brain from her skull. You don't still love him Buttercup. You feel you owe him something, you don't. He ruined your life. Buttercup tightened her grip on the wheel until her hands grew white. She met eyes with Bubbles who was staring at her in an unfamiliar way. She whispered, "Revenge feels good doesn't it."

Buttercup smile. "It felt very good to have him die by my hand. If Hector decides to face you again Bubbles, I hope you get to indulge in that amazing feeling."

"He's is not going to show his face so soon, why would he, I'm sure he'll have plenty of people lined up to kill you Bubbles it'll be a while until you get that satisfaction." Blossom smirked looking back at her blonde sister who gave her a knowing smile.

"And until he does, I'll make sure he never bothers us again."

Did this ending make sense for ya'll? I hate endings, I'm so bad at them cx

I wasn't planning on giving the girls tragic backstories because I thought it would be much more badass if they were just evil but I couldn't help myself. I love torture lol

OH and Blossom actually worried about Buttercup! We are seeing some development which I am excited foooor but don't get your hopes so up. I live for a cold hearted Blossom.

See you next time!
