'Shit, shit, shit' the young woman thought as she ran through the streets, her brother's gang chased after her. Her brother James was not the nicest person around their neighbourhood, in fact he was someone you didn't want to cross, even the police were scared of him. He was well known for what he would do to you if you crossed him. He was the leader of gang who called themselves the Templars, they owned the streets, if you crossed them, you would be lucky to get away with your life, they never showed mercy, if they didn't like another gang they would kill everyone in that gang and take what drugs, guns whatever they had with an out care and they would laugh about it, while they put the bodies of the dead and the dying on show, for everyone to see.

Eagle quickly scaled up the building like it was nothing, she was thankful that her years of doing parkour and free run paid off when she found herself, in trouble and she need to get way quickly. Eagle leap from building to building, roof to roof as if she was a bird flying.

Eagle had been walking home from a long day at work, when she heard screams for help when she looked down the alleyway were the screams were coming from, she saw that her brother and his gang had cornered three teenage boys, she recognised them they were her boss's kids. She watched as one of her brother's lap dogs step forward holding a long piece of metal, he raised it above his head ready to hit one of the boys, as the others held the two boys back. Eagle quickly pulled a knife out pocket of her leather laggings throwing the knife, with deadly accuracy into the gang member he was dead before he even hit the ground.

Her brother turned around and sneered, when he saw who had thrown the knife. There at the end of the ally was his sister, the torn in his side he hated her with a passion, she was always sticking up for the week, the ones of could stand up or fight for themselves. She was the outcast, what with the way she would climb up builds, jumping from one to the next, her fighting style, to the way she dressed, which was wearing leather which acted as a type of armour, a red sash that tied around her head to help keep her long black hair out of her eyes, a long white coat that had a hood with something that resembled a beak that when up would cover half of her face leaving just a little bit of her nose and her mouth in view, brown knee high boots and she would always have some knives, that she makes on her along with two which was always hidden from view. Which is why they called them the hidden blades.

Eagle saw that the boys, her brother and his gang had cornered had ran, which was good because she didn't want them see what would happen next. Eagle quickly dodged around two the gang members who had lunched at her, while stabbing three of them with her hidden blade. She then took off running towards the building wall.

Eagle keep running.

Soon the houses started to thin out, as she come to nothing woodland. Eagle smiled she knew the woods like the back her hand, she had spent may times in the woods, when she was younger and was hiding from her drunk father, and drug additive mother, it was here she found she had a love for free running and parkour, she would spend many hours practicing when she wasn't practicing she would be studying the plants, she knew which plants were good for making medicine to heal and which ones were good for killing someone and when she wasn't studying plants she would be busy making things from smoke bombs to her hidden blades which she keep on her at all times.

Eagle saw that there was a building up head, jumping soundless from the tree she made her way over the building, the door had some type of symbol caved into the wood. Eagle pushed the door open, walking inside. The inside of the building was beautiful, on the floor was a bigger images of the symbol that was on the door, Eagle walked through an archway that lead into a huge room, there were two staircase that lead up to the next floor, she made her way up the stairs that lead to the second floor, inside the room there was a table Eagle saw that there were maps, books and quills littered the table as if the people sitting there felt in hurry.

A braze from the window, made an old tapestry move a little, but enough for her to see a bit writing under it, Eagle walked over to the tapestry and carefully pulled it to the side to see what the words said:

'Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent,
Hide in plain sight,
Never compromise the brotherhood.'

'Brotherhood' what does that mean' Eagle thought has she ran her hands over the words, 'and who were these people, who protected the innocents.'

Bang! A shot from a gun rang, as a bullet missed Eagle by a breath. She turned around to see that her brother and his gang had caught up with her. Eagle ran dogging bullets as she ran, twisting down the corridor. Eagle noticed a door which was open, she quickly ran into the room hiding behind the door, she waited for the ones who was chasing her, before she ran out the door shutting the door and placing a chair under the handle so it wouldn't open.

Eagle smiled as she made her way down the corridor, but the smile when she saw her brother.

"Hello Eagle" James said with an evil smile.

"James" Eagle said, as she saw the last of his lapdogs, blocking off the only exit in the room. Eagle knew that she would near make to the window she was outnumbered and her leg hurt from were a bullet had grazed her when she was running.

Eagle quickly pulled out her last smoke bomb, and throwing onto the floor creating a mist of white smoke, she knew that by the smoke cleared she would be gone, having ran down the corridor and disappearing.

James recovered quickly and gave chase. His sister was going to die, he knew that she wouldn't be able to keep running, he had saw the graze on her leg from the bullet as soon as the pain got too much for her, she would be easy to kill and he would finally be rid of her, free to kill as many people as he liked, without her saving them.

Eagle felt herself grow a little weak, from the wound to her leg but she pushed the pain she felt aside, she had to keep going. She had to keep fighting her brother someone had to stand up to him.

Eagle cursed under her breath when she saw that she had that she had run out corridor, at the end of the corridor was a drop, but she was unable to see the bottom as it was too dark see the bottom, she turned around to see her brother coming to a stop.

James come to a stop when he saw his sister, he quickly pulled out his switch blade. James smiled when he saw that she was trapped, today was the day that he would cut his sister's wings off and kill her, without warming James charged his sister.

Eagle stayed were she was, waiting for the right moment to extended her hidden blades, if she was going to die, then she would take her brother down with her the police or other gangs would get rid of the rest of his gang, maybe they would even do the job themselves as they tried to pick a new leader.

James wasn't paying attention as he ran at his sister, his mind was too busy thinking about how he would celebrate once she was dead, because just at the last moment Eagle extended her hidden blades stabbing her brother.

As both of them fell over the edge of the drop, a blinding bright light appeared and everything went black.
