A/N: Sorry that I haven't updated in ages guys, I'm really sorry, and I know that there is no excuse for it.
Thank for to RoseColorado for helping me get motivated to write this chapter.
I pulled up outside Clarence's house and turned to face Hopper.
"Okay buddy," I told him. "I have no idea how they'll react to you, so you should stay in the car until I come to fetch you," I continued sternly... well, as sternly as an Adrian Ivashkov could be.
Hopper made a displeased noise and turned the puppy eyes on, even going as far as to let a tear roll down his face.
"No Hopper, they will all freak out!" I exclaimed, turning away to avoid falling for the sad face.
Another small whine.
"I said no," I answered, turning to get out of the car. "And I'm not changing my mind."
Hopper was riding happily on my shoulder as I walked from my car to the front door of the house.
"Fine," I grumbled. "But when Dorothy proceeds to chase you out of the house with a broom, I'm not helping you. It's your own fault."
Hopper just answered with a sound that I was pretty sure equalled a happy laugh. Wow, how did I survive the last few days without him?
I reached the front door and knocked on it.
"You want to get somewhere less seeable demon child? It's okay if I'm seen talking to myself - they already suspect that I'm crazy." I asked. Hopper just shook his head.
Dorothy answered the door and everything was fine at first. Her eyes were glazed, showing that she had recently been fed on, and she didn't notice Hopper on my shoulder. She let me in and that was going well until... she snapped out of her high... and saw the callistanta.
She didn't actually say anything as such. Her eyes just popped open and her mouth formed a little surprised O... and then she fainted.
"Oh Lord!" I swore to the sky. "Dorothy, Dorothy, wake up Dorothy." I said, tapping her face lightly.
"What is going on in here?" Clarence walked in. "I heard a bang and the young Moroi girl is still asleep." He paused. "Hello Jet, why is Dorothy on the floor?"
"Umm... she, err, saw my callistansa sir." I mumbled, knowing how stupid I must sound.
"Your what?" He blinked in confusion just as Dorothy began to stir.
"Huh?" She asked blinking rapidly. "Wha-what happened?"
"You saw my, amm, callistana, and you got a little freaked out." I explained. "Not that I blame you." At this Hopper started tugging at my hair angrily.
"What's a callistana?" I heard Jill's voice ask as she entered the hallway.
"Oh, what an interesting little thing." Clarence said, finally spotting the demon on my shoulder. "What's his name?"
"Hopper." Jill and I said at the same time. I turned to look at her surprised.
"How did you know that?" Had something finally happened to make her remember something about the Palm Springs mission?
"I had a dream about him..." she mumbled embarrassed. "I must have been dragged into your head while I was asleep or something." I felt disappointment well up in me. "I'm sorry," she added.
"Oh, you two are connected by a spirit bond?" Clarence asked, his attention darting away from Hopper and back to our conversation.
"No," I answered automatically. "I mean yes."
Dorothy was still dazed on the floor and looking at Hopper with a horrified expression.
"W-what is that?" She croaked, scared.
"It's a callistana," I informed her. "He is harmless, I promise."
"It's very interesting." Clarence mused thoughtfully. "Where did you get it?"
"Only a witch can call one." Dorothy rasped, backing away.
"How did you know that?" I asked, as Jill's eyes widened. Clarence seemed unaffected, as was usual for him.
"I read about it." Dorothy answered, her face paling. "Please get it out of the house."
"Now, now Dorothy," Clarence began crossly. "That is no way to treat our guests."
"No it's okay, we were just leaving." I interrupted hastily.
"So soon?" Clarence asked.
"Yes." I answered walking over to Jill. "We have some things to be doing before we leave. It was... nice meeting you two." I grabbed her hand. "We'll see ourselves out!" I headed towards the door, about to open it just as someone knocked on it.
"I'll get it!" I called out to Clarence and Dorothy. I opened the door, letting go of Jill's hand just as Hopper started to wail.
"Shut up Hopper!" I muttered. "There is nothing evil here, and I just fed you half an hour ago..."
I opened the door despite Hopper's protests and revealed... Lee.
"Lee!" Clarence called from behind me. "What an unexpected visit!" He walked up to me, delighted to see his son. I stood there frozen to the spot.
Lee was a Stigori.

:) I like your thinking, but stop trying to crack the code! You are not supposed to know the plot, or get close to it so relax, all will be revealed soon enough.

1. Well... would you have remembered? I know that it would be the last thing on my mind with Nina and oil-girl :D Pfft, I love Clarence, he makes things interesting. I know, Marcus Hood coming to help! They'd be unwilling allies though haha.
