AN: I don't own Twilight
I would like to thank XxJasper'sAngelxX for going over my chapters :D
Friday arrived and Bella looked outside to see Forks' most common weather, rain. Somehow even in this miserable weather she felt happy and it was all thanks to her friends. They really knew when and how to cheer her up. A smile made its way to her face and she couldn't help but reminisce about yesterday's activities at the seaside.
True to her word Artemis challenged her to a mock fight first thing after they had eaten. No weapons just hand to hand combat. None of them backed down easily and in the end it came to a draw...for the fifth time. Meanwhile Ares won 6 out of 10 fights in total. Amongst the four of them Ares was the strongest since his speciality was fighting, he lived up to his title of god of War.
After sparring with one another they played volleyball along the beach and later on moved into the sea. A few minutes into playing in the waves they were swallowed by a large wave that suddenly formed out of nowhere followed by rumbling laughter, this caused them to mumble profanities and promises of payback. Their uncle knew they wouldn't let that prank go and when the four of them teamed up together they were a force to be reckoned with, no one would be able to stop them, but he thought it was worth it since him and the other deities have all been casualties of their pranks, you can't count how many times they had played tricks on them so it was only fair they got a taste of their own medicine and you will never know when a chance to prank them would arise so if there was an opportunity you took it or you would regret it later on.
By the time Bella arrived at school the rain had stopped, leaving everything wet and cold. As suspected the Cullen's were back and as she was about to walk towards them she was intercepted by none other than Jessica and Lauren. We'll there goes my happy mood.

Friday came and Emmett's prayers were answered, gone was the sun and they were greeted with rain. Arriving at the school there were various murmurs going around about Bella and some hot kids that were not the Cullen's. This made them curious as to who they were and how they knew Bella.
"What are they talking about Edward?" Alice asked.
Edward took a few seconds to read Lauren's mind and answered back, "Yesterday two males and a female visited the school and took Bella with them."
Before he could go on they saw a police cruiser pull up at the entrance. It wasn't just any police cruiser, it was the Chiefs, Bella's dad. As she got out and said goodbye to Charlie she wasn't barely able to take a few steps away from her original spot before she was ambushed by the queen bee, Lauren and her minion named Jessica, followed closely by Mike, Angela and Ben. Jasper felt her emotions shift quickly from happy to irritated.
"Hey Bella!" Lauren shouted.
Bella grimaced and answered through gritted teeth, "Hi Lauren."
"Good morning Bella," Angela said.
She gave her a genuine smile that could brighten any rainy day, "Hey Ang, Ben."
"Bella," Mike purred causing Bella to shudder in disgust.
"So Bella...Who were the hunks yesterday?" Lauren asked, giving her the look, 'tell me or else'.
Bella shrugged, "They are my friends from my old school."
"Just friends?" Lauren asked, eyeing her carefully.
She frowned. "What do you mean?"
"Come on, you know what are we talking about. Everyone saw how you and the Ari guy interacted."
"Yeah, you displayed a cliché scene where the girl ran towards the guy and he catches her and spins her around laughing, the only thing that was missing was a flowery meadow, let's not forget about the small kiss on your temple," Jessica quipped.
A burst of jealousy and anger radiated from Edward. Jasper looked at him and saw his eyes turning black and he guessed that Edward didn't like Bella being so close with another guy. Though he frowned as he also felt a pang of jealousy thinking of Bella in another mans arms. Again Jasper asked himself, what the hell is wrong with me?
"As I said they are my best friends, nothing else," Bella insisted.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure. Now will you please excuse me, Angela I'll see you in class," With that said she left the crowd and made her way towards the Cullen's.
Curious Jasper monitored her emotions when she answered their questions and she was telling the truth, knowing that had calming effect on him. He let out a breath he didn't realise he was holding.
"Edward she is telling the truth," Jasper answered Edwards silent question. He sighed and his ebony eyes turned back to its original topaz colour.
By the time she reached them she emitted strong determination.
"Good morning Bella," Alice chimed.
"Morning Belly-bean," Emmett exclaimed.
"Bella," Rosalie replied, as always sporting an icy glare.
Jasper gave her a curt nod, portraying a stoic visage, though his eyes told a different story.
She fidgeted and looked up to Edward. "Edward, can I talk to you alone?"
Sure," He replied and gestured the forest nearby.
She gave him a nod and followed him, the rest of the Cullen's didn't get a chance to listen what was being said because the school bell rang indicating class were just about to start.

Walking side by side in the direction of the forest in silence Edward couldn't help but wonder what the reason was for her to talk to him alone. The first thought that popped into his mind was, has she figured out what they were?
Finding a suitable spot to talk she took a breath and gathered her thoughts, Edward stood waiting for her to say something. Looking straight into his eyes Bella said, "I know what you are."
Shocked at the revelation he took a few seconds to compose himself. "Then what are we?" He inquired.
"Your eyes are surprisingly the same topaz even though all of you are unrelated, cold hard skin, unrealistic beauty, strong, fast, quick reflexes... I've never seen any of you eat or drink anything... You are never around during sunny days and there is also the legends passed down the generations in the Quileutte tribe."
He quickly flashed behind her and whispered in her ear, "Then say it."
"You're a vampire."
"Are you afraid?" He asked slowly as he circled her like prey.
Seriously can he be more dramatic? She thought. "No."
He quickly grabbed hold of her hands and started to direct her to the mountain top. She asked where they were going and he answered that she needed to see the reason why they are not around on sunny days, see how different they were to humans. Tiring of the slow pace he slung Bella onto his back and dashed up the mountain where the sun shone. Bella thought they were fast, but not as fast as Hermes.
Edward stood under a beaming sunlight and showed her his sparkling skin. He then proceeded to explaining how dangerous he is, that he is a killer, that everything about them invited people in like a moth to a flame. "I'm the world's most dangerous predator…"
She rolled her eyes mentally at his statement, little did he know there were far more dangerous and vicious creatures lurking in the darkness than vampires.
He then proceed showing her his abilities in speed, strength and explained about his time killing people before.
She shook her head, "It doesn't matter."
Edward carried on with him wanting to kill her because of her scent and Bella thought, 'Of course I'm your singer you dumbass,' but replied with 'it doesn't matter'. 'Not that you could hurt me,' She silently added. Edward then explain how he couldn't read her mind and that he waited for her for a very long time.
'Is he thinking what I think he is thinking...that I am his mate...sorry to burst his bubble, but no...' Bella thought.
They spent the whole morning talking about him and his family, how they became what they were, their diet and gifts. By the time they got back to school lunch time was almost over. Many rumours of them being close spread like wildfire. Many believed that they were going out. True they became close, but not as a couple, even though Edward was already planning to make it a reality. By the time the last bell rang Edward had invited Bella to meet the rest of his family the next day.
-Saturday-
It was a cloudy morning when Edward arrived at police Chief Swan's house. He knocked politely and Bella answered with a friendly smile. They took off in his silver Volvo towards the Cullen house and during the journey she looked out the window to see the trees pass like a blur until they reached a secluded winding road.
At the end of the road was a two story modern house, most of the walls were made with glass showing its exquisite contemporary interior. Getting out of the vehicle Bella gasped at the structural beauty. The wooden beams and patio floor made the modern house fit with the green forest that surrounded the building.
They made their way inside and took off their coats and placed it on a nearby coat rack.
"It's beautiful," Bella said.
"Esme designed this house and other ones we own."
She looked around in awe.
"Are you expecting coffins, dungeons and moats?" Edward asked in amusement.
"Coffins and dungeons yes , moats... No."
Both made their way to the kitchen where they heard the clanking sound of cooking utensils and a television. As they entered the room Edward chuckled at the sight before them. Everyone, apart from Alice and Jasper who were nowhere to be seen, were cooking food. To them food doesn't smell or taste good at all, but for Edwards human they were willing to make the little sacrifice.
Everyone stopped what they were doing and approached Bella. A female with lovely light brown curls that radiated a motherly aura introduced herself as Esme. Next was a male that seemed older than the 'kids' with pale blonde hair, Carlisle.
"You have a lovely home," Bella said looking at Esme.
"Thank you dear. We are making Italian for you, it should be done in a few minutes."
Bella blushed at Esme's caring motherly attitude, "Umm… Its OK. You didn't need to, besides food doesn't smell good to you, right? You don't need to force yourselves."
Every vampire chuckled and a tinkling laugh was heard outside the window.
"Bella! It's nice to see you again. We're going to be great friends!" Exclaimed Alice as she went up and hugged Bella. Her hyped attitude worried Bella sometimes, she acted like a child high on sugar, though her hyper attitude reminded her of a certain male vampire, always full of smiles with a happy attitude that could be creepy at times.
While waiting for the food Edward showed Bella around their home. The rooms that caught her attention were the two libraries filled with books lining every wall. She asked who they belonged to, the large one was Carlisle's and the slightly smaller one with a homey feeling to it was Jaspers.
Being polite Bella ate the food they had prepared, it was delicious for vampires who doesn't eat. She also found it quite weird for her to eat alone while the rest stayed seated around the table making occasional small talk.
After dinner the 'kids' moved into the living room where Emmett showed how he became the self proclaimed king of video games to Bella while Carlisle went up to his study and Esme stayed in the kitchen cleaning up. A few minutes into the game Alice became more hyper than usual, you could almost see her jumping up and down in her seat. Edward displayed his crooked smile when he read Alice's thoughts.
"What is it Alice?" Emmett asked, placing down his controller.
"There will be thunderstorm next week!" She exclaimed earning a wide smile on Emmett's face.
"Awesome!" He fist pumped the air.
"What's going on? Why is Emmett so happy?" Bella asked.
"Belly-bean, thunder equals baseball! We get to play baseball next week and you are invited."
Clearly not getting the connection she asked again, "Baseball?"
"Yes Love, its America's favourite pastime," Edward said sitting close to Bella.
"Yep Bells, the thunder camouflages the sound we make when we hit the ball..."
By the end of the night it was decided that the Cullen family plus Bella will be playing baseball the next Saturday on an open field not far from the house and with that decided Edward took Bella home.
Settling on her bed after changing into her PJ's, staring up at the ceiling she let her thoughts wander over each of the Cullen's. Starting at the big bear of the family, Emmett Cullen, he was a jokester with a childlike attitude. He may be scary on the outside because of his bulkiness, but inside he is all soft and cuddly like a teddy bear. Rosalie, the ice queen, always sending icy glares her way, but Bella just brushed it off, she wasn't scared easily, if Rosalie thought she was just a lowly human then she can think again. Bella did at some point glare right back at her during her visit.
Esme, the mother figure of the family. She was a lovely and caring vampire that reminded her a lot of her mother. Carlisle, the patriarch and father figure. He is kind and compassionate . He looks like the type of vampire that would try and avoid fights and resolve issues civilly.
Then there is Alice, the hyper pixie, loves shopping, always talks about how Bella would like things. Bella doesn't like it at all and she thought that Alice was showing signs of being a control freak, not taking any of her opinions into consideration and always reasoning that Bella will like whatever Alice says because she 'saw' it in her visions. This raises questions with Bella because being a deity Alice's gift should not work on her at all like Edward's. Bella should just show up as a blank spot in her visions and nothing else. Something tells her that Alice is hiding something and it wasn't good at all.
Then there is Edward who think she is his. How does she know this? His actions and his language. Always trying to dazzle her with his smile and his romantic gestures like addressing her as 'love' on more than one occasion. Bella thought he was too blind to see that she wasn't interested in him at all.
Lastly Jasper, his beauty rivals Michelangelo's David. His strong jawline, muscles that flexed with every movement underneath his tight shirt, golden topaz eyes that held strength, bravery, power and a calmness at the same time and golden honey blonde hair. Oh what would she give just to be able to run her fingers through his silky hair and touch every contour of his muscles. If Bella didn't know better she may have mistaken him as a deity from the first moment she saw him in the cafeteria. Apart from his breath taking appearance she wasn't able to learn much about him, only that he was shy and quiet. He answers questions with simple gestures and few words. He is a mystery to her, she still haven't found out how he got the scars that he always try and cover up. She sighed and put on her headphones listening to music until sleep takes over.
