WARNING: A little OOCness and some COFA/COLS spoilers I never meant to include (you'll understand when you read the story and author note at the end.)

A/N: So this concludes the end of the Vampire Training one shots and I want to thank all of you guys who waited so patiently! I'm happy to give you this conclusion but it's not entirely the end. I will still be writing one shots and I am still accepting requests!

Simon stirred. He wanted to stay asleep but the noises were to loud and it sounded like someone was getting their ass kicked. He groaned and grabbed his head trying to make the headache go away but it continued to pound.

Simon went into a sitting position realizing he was laying on the ground. He ran his hand through his hair and the scent of blood struck him. He looked up and blinked when the city lights struck him, he couldn't remember why he was feeling like this but he knew the only way to describe the feeling was like getting hit by a truck after being drunk. Not that either has happened but judging on the way he was feeling, it probably did.

"I should have known you were going to do something stupid!" A girl's voice yelled and the sound of fist to bone contact followed.

Simon blinked, trying to clear his vision, and saw three womanly figures. One was on the ground, looking almost dead, and the other two were pressed up against a brick wall exchanging blows. They were the same height and had dark hair, he did remember that one of those girls was Izzy.

"Isabelle," he said and got to his feet. He stumbled though and reached for the wall to steady himself.

"Simon," he heard come from one of the two girls, he just couldn't identify which one. Why was he feeling like this? It never happened before when he drank blood.

Simon heard the sound of a bone cracking and a whimper and someone had run up to him throwing themselves into his arms.

He knew then that it was Isabelle. "Izzy."

"Oh my gosh! I though I killed you with when I pushed you guys, you landed hard on the cement," she said into his shoulder.

That explained the pounding headache.

"What happened? I don't remember anything," he said which was the truth. Simon remembered something sweet but that was it, well that and the growing guilt he felt coming on.

Isabelle pulled away from him and looked down at the woman that was at their feet. "You and Evette almost killed this woman but I stopped you just in time. She's barely breathing though so we have to get her to a mundane hospital fast."

"Son of bitch!" the other girl suddenly yelled. Evette, Simon remembered. She was holding on to her wrist and laying on the ground. "damn you Shadowhunter! You broke my wrist!"

"Shut up! You deserve it and quit being a baby. You're a vampire you heal quick," Isabelle spat. Simon could see the rage in Isabelle, actually it was more than rage, it was like Izzy became the reigning Queen of Hell.

"I told you! It was an accident!" Evette yelled as she held onto her wrist.

Isabelle stomped over to Evette and held her by the shirt collar. "Do you expect me to believe you?" Isabelle yelled in her face. "you knew exactly what you were doing and you wanted Simon to help you do it! You're just like Raphael! Using people for your own personal gain!"

"Shut up!" Evette said and then pushed Isabelle as hard as she could against the wall. Izzy hit the wall hard and slid to the ground.

"Isabelle!" Simon yelled as he ran over to his girlfriend. Isabelle had a dazed look on her face and Simon realized it was because she got the wind knocked out of her. He looked to Evette who was still holding onto her wrist. "What the hell is your problem!"

"Your girlfriend. That's my problem," Evette said as she stood to get up. She moved her wrist but winced as she did it. "damn I didn't know it hurt that bad."

"Are you really worrying more about your wrist than the woman we almost killed?" Simon asked disbelieved. Vampires had such enormous egos.

"I am worried about the woman, but she'll be fine. Just call in an anonymous tip," Evette said as she went to inspect the woman. She put to fingers up to where her pulse would be and was silent for a moment.

"She'll be fine, her heart is beating normally. That's a little unusual but she'll survive," Evette said as if she was an expert in the human body.

"But we almost killed her!" Simon said. How did she not understand that?

"And your girlfriend pulled us off so stop getting your panties in a bunch!"

"You know I just don't understand you! First you act all high and mighty, then you wanna help, then your a big badass vampire, and now your a tortured soul that cares about the lives of others. What gives?" Simon said.

"None of that is your problem, you worry about her and I'll call in the tip. As soon as I get back we have to leave," Evette said and walked onto the street.

Simon didn't have the energy to fight with her so he let her leave as he checked on Isabelle.

"Izzy are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine," she breathed. Isabelle winced when she moved her back and Simon had a feeling it wasn't good.

"Are you sure?" he questioned.

Isabelle shook her head. "No, not really. Can you check my back?"

Simon lifted up the back of Izzy's shirt as she leaned forward and he saw a really bad bruise beginning to form. Simon whistled. "That's going to hurt in the morning."

"What is?"

He put down her shirt. "You have a huge bruise forming on most of your middle and lower back."

Isabelle cursed under her breath. "I'm gonna kill her and then I'm going to have to find a way to keep this from my mom and dad."

"Can't you just use a rune?"

"I could but it's not going to heal all the way. Broken blood vessel will be fixed but it will still be sore since it's from impact and have a faint shadow. Healing only heals, it doesn't take away pain," Isabelle said as she stood up. Simon followed.

"We should just stop," Izzy said said. "you almost killed someone and I have to hide this bruise, it can only get worse from here."

Simon didn't say anything. He was thankful that Isabelle wanted to help him but Evette was a loose cannon and had no idea what she wanted. The girl kept changing personalities like Simon changed video games and it was actually starting to put them in danger.

He walked over to his girlfriend and held her from behind. He kissed the side of her head. "I'm sorry this didn't work out the way you wanted."

Isabelled sighed and turned her body so she was enfolded into his arms. "I'm sorry I put you through this."

"No, it's not your fault," Simon said pulling away from her so he could look at her. "you were just trying to help me, that's not a bad thing and I'm thankful that you did. Plus I finally know how to defend myself," he smiled.

Izzy smiled back. "Yea, that is a good thing. I told you the training would pay off."

"It did and I'm glad," Simon said and kissed Isabelle's forehead.

She placed herself in Simon's arms and he just held her. So he didn't get proper vampire training but at least he got self defense and was able to make Izzy happy, all that mattered to him was her happiness.

"Okay, I called the tip in. We have to leave this area fast," Evette said.

Simon and Isabelle pulled apart but Simon still had his arm wrapped around her waist. "That's not going to be necessary. This vampire training is over, Isabelle and I are leaving and you can go too."

"Are we really not over this? I told your girlfriend it was an accident. I wasn't trying to kill that woman or have you kill her," Evette said rolling her eyes.

"Then what?" Isabelle snapped. "you just wanted to see if he'd do it as a joke?"

Evette huffed. "You're really starting to piss me off Shadowhunter."

Isabelle moved out of Simon's arms. "Likewise vampire."

"Maybe if you stop assuming things I'd tell you what really happened," Evette said to Isabelle not breaking eye contact.

Izzy snorted. "What really happened? I just watched the entire thing, I know what happened."

"No you don't."

"Yes I do."

Evette growled and her fangs came out. "You know what forget it! I knew I was wasting my time. You could have never helped me!"

"Whoa, pause," Simon said. Helped her? Helped her with what?

"What are you talking about, help you?" Isabelle asked. Isabelle was right, Evette did want something in return.

Evette blinked and Simon could see it dawned on her what she just said. "Nothing, it doesn't matter anymore."

Isabelle grabbed Evette's shoulder and pushed her against the wall. "I'm getting real sick of your games. You're not leaving here until you tell me what the hell is going on."

"I really don't think you want to hear what I have to say Shadowhunter."

Isabelle tightend her grip on Evette's throat. She wasn't trying to cut off her air supply, more like inflict pain. "Yes I really do."

Evette winced. "Fine. The clan has been talking about the Daylighter, Raphael, and that little Maureen girl. Since the death of Camille the clan has almost comepletey broken apart into sides of who they believe should be clan actually believes that it will be the Daylighter who takes the position."

"That still doesn't explain what you want and why do they believe Simon will take over the clan?" Isabelle asked.

"Simon is the only one who actually has a chance because of his allegiance to Shadowhunters. They know if Raphael or Maureen threatened his life the Shadowhunters would protect him, and if they do the Clave will let them because they could use the Daylighter as their little puppet, to make sure the New York clan stays in order. They don't like the idea but only because he has a stronger defense, and they know he could win, will they be on his side," Evette explained.

"And what does this have to do with you?" Isablle asked.

"I told myself if the clans went to war I'd align myself with the person who might actually win. I thought that maybe if I trained him he would spare my life and I could be in his inner circle. That's why I let you kidnap me, once you said you captured me to help train a friend did I realize it was Simon, the Daylighter, and I knew what I had to do."

"That explains why you're doing this but now I have questions," Simon said and Evette rolled her eyes. Simon also saw that Izzy had released her hold just a little.

"Why are the vampires even supporting me? They hate me. And two, what happened earlier with Raphael being your family? You said you were just messing with me but now I believe there really is a reason," Simon said.

"The vampires only hate you because Raphael does and you can walk in the sun. They don't like that you hang out with Shadowhunters, and they hate it even more that you're dating one, but they need a leader and they believe only you can come out on top. So they're willing to put their hate aside and let you be their leader. As for Rapahel, he turned me but I have no allegiance to him, I only stand by his side to keep myself safe," Evette said.

"So you play the role of follower for self preservation?" Simon asked.

Evette nodded. "I never wanted to be a vampire and I've been trying to find a way to get back at Raphael. Once I heard the clan might go to war with each other I knew who I would side with. None of the others have a chance. Raphael is slowly losing supporters, Maureen is just a little girl, and Camille is dead. Your only real threat is him but you have a bigger following."

"And all of this," Simon swept his hand over the alley. "was just so I could keep you in my good graces? So I could keep you alive?"

"It's not what you think!" Evette snapped. "I wasn't trying to kill that woman but I was freaking hungry! Locked up all day with no blood and think I'll be okay? It was just as much my fault as it was yours. I saw the hunger in your eyes! And It's your fault Maureen is around because of how hungry you got so don't blame me for making a mistake! I didn't even want this!"

"Yea well me either! And I don't want to be leader of a vampire clan so go tell all of you family that," Simon said. These freaking vampires were starting to get on his last nerve.

"You don't have a choice. It's already starting. I'm on your side Simon, I can help you! Rapahel trained me himself and that's why I can train you. You'll be better and you'll know his weaknessess because I can tell you them. You may not want to be leader but it is the only way it could all end. You were turned against your will and so was I, you can end that!"

Simon said nothing and this worried Isabelle. She comepletely let go of Evette and went over to Simon.

"Don't listen to her Lewis, this is not your problem. Your not rogue or a part of the clan, none of this has anything to do with you!" Isabelle pleaded. She knew all of the things Evette said Simon was actually considering. There was a a few unanswered questions but Isabelle felt those might be answered in the long run because Simon might actually want to do this.

"I'm going home," he said finally. This shocked both Isabelle and Evette who stood silent.

Simon looked up at them. "I can hear the sirens, we need to leave."

"Simon," Evette started but Simon raised his hand cutting her off.

"I really don't want to hear anymore, this will figure all of itself out," he said and then started walking. Isabelle followed him and even though she really didn't want to she looked back and saw Evette staring right at her. It wasn't a glare or a scowl, it wasn't even pleading. It was a look that Isabelle just couldn't describe.

Izzy walked faster to catch up with Simon and when she did she looped her arm through his. "Are you okay?"

Simon laughed but there was no humor in it. "What started out as a normal, easy, day ended in a terrible disaster. It escalated so quickly."

"Simon if I had known what was going on with the clan I would never have put you up to this. I just wanted to help you," Izzy said.

Simon pulled her close. "I know Iz, I'm not blaming you. I just wish this could have been a good day, that's all."

Isabelle nuzzled her head closer to his shoulder as they walked back to Simon and Jordan's apartment.

"I love you," he said.

Isabelle sighed. "I love you too."

A/N: oh my goodness. Guys, I don't even have any idea what I wrote, like legit, I have no clue. I just started typing and I ended up here, like, I'm just so mind blown by my own creation. I promise this was actually supposed to be about Simon and his training but I feel like I just wrote an intro to another story. I mean it's kind of based off my theory for City of Heavnely Fire and I was only going to add it in a little bit but then it kind of just took on a life of it's own. This does conclude the vampire training one shots but I don't know, this might be the beginning of something else. Leave your thoughts and any requests you want to see written. Thanks!
