A/N: Hey guys. I'M BACK! I'm really, really, really sorry about how long it's been and how short this chapter'll be. I think I'll try to extend it later, but I feel like it's better to get out a short update than none at all, especially when I promised one.

Anyways, I know that I can't update a lot, although I do hope to update once a month. This is the update for October. I do have a question, though; if - and it's a pretty big if - I end up writing two chapters in a day, should I post them ASAP, or should I try to space them out?

I also really need to thank all those who have been supportive: Annabeth Brady, Irishdanceringrulz1776, ShadowsOfTheSupernatural, Compliment Giver, Deaf Angel, PJOFan4Life, WonderWomanXD, uracow99, Mariepc, and owllover13. Now, on to the chapter!

Chapter 7

Percy POV

As Rachel recovered from the dazed state she was in after she was in, Cleo, Ricki, and Bella started whispering amongst themselves, trying to figure out what Rachel had just said. Mostly, they were worried about them having to reveal their secret to the camp and becoming shunned.

"I wouldn't." I told them after getting their attention. "A prophecy is extremely hard to figure out; many times, you don't understand it until the entire thing has come to pass." I explained, repeated Annabeth's words.

"You only know that because I told you." Annabeth called out playfully.

"Okay Annabeth. Whatever you say." I replied back. Annabeth grumbled and turned to Rachel, making sure the red-haired girl was okay. I motioned my Australian friends over to stand near Rachel as she groaned and shook her head.

"I just recited a prophecy, right? For Percy's quest?" Rachel asked Annabeth, still clutching her head.

"Yeah. I would've thought that you had gotten used to that by now, though." I responded for Annabeth.

"Nah. I don't think I'll ever get used to spouting off prophecies at random intervals." Rachel explained, looking like she was feeling better. "Anyways, I wanted to ask you some questions." Rachel said, turning to Cleo, Bella, and Ricki.

Emma POV

I groaned, sitting up. I looked around, not knowing where I was and not understanding why I had bandages wrapped around my body or why I was in an air bubble underwater. I laid back down on what I presumed to be my bed and tried to recall what could have happened where I could end up in an underwater castle. Then, I heard a door open and a man walked in. I sat up and I noticed that he was extremely tanned, he had a hawaiian shirt on, and he had khaki shorts. I also noticed that he could breath completely fine, yet he was underwater. "Who are you?" I asked. He looked at me and started to open his mouth, but I was worried - I kept asking questions. "Why am I here? Who brought me here? And how-" However, the man cut me off.

"Emma."

"AND HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" I demanded, now actually completely frightened to the point where I was situated as far back on my bed as I could go.

"Stop!" He said, and I did. He sounded calming, like he wanted to help me. "Calm down. It's not everyday that I bring a mortal down to my palace willingly." At that, I gaped. I had no idea what was going on, but I really hoped that this immortal was a good one. "Now, let me answer your questions. I am Poseidon, you are here because you must recover before you are able to go home, and your cousin brought you down here when I saw the predicament he was in when you and your friends followed him back to his camp."

After that, I was at a loss for words. Here I was, sitting down on a bed, talking to a GREEK GOD that just so happened to be my cousin's dad - or my uncle - kinda. I knew he wasn't really my uncle since Gods aren't related by blood. "I-I'm sorry." I stuttered out, finally, realizing how I had just completely demanded answers from somebody who could obliterate me with a glance.

"Do not be sorry, child. It's only a natural reaction." Poseidon said, relieving me partially of the guilt I felt. I gulped, about to say sorry, when I realized that he didn't want me to be sorry.

"Um, can I ask when I'm going back home?" I questioned as politely as I could. "I mean, it's cool and everything here, but I want to be with my family." I added on quickly after remembering that I didn't want to make the Sea God mad at me.

"Of course. I think you'll be ready to go home tomorrow, if that's alright." I nodded. "Good."

"T-thank you, Lord Poseidon." I stammered.

"It's quite alright. I'll send in a nurse to make sure you're okay in an hour and then she'll take you on a quick tour if she has time. Farewell."

And with that, the most powerful being I've ever met ended the conversation and walked out the door.
