"If he has company, who is he with?" Reyna asked,
"Romans were not the first to conceive the idea of higher beings, specifically Olympians." Percy said,
"The Greeks are active?" Reyna asked,
"They are not the only religion" Percy said,
"Really? So every religion exists?" Reyna said,
"Unfortunately yes, last month I had to got to a class on how to fight flying spaghetti monsters." Percy said,
"WHAT!?" Reyna almost screamed,
"I hate Pastafarians." Was Percy's only answer.
Everyone had assembled in the mess hall for dinner, and for the first time Percy had taken his mask off. When he looked in the mirror he noticed his facial structure had changed slightly. He was not completely unrecognizable, but enough so he wouldn't be identified. Percy was trying to enjoy a cheeseburger at the time.
"So Lieutenant, will you participate in war games tonight? If so which team will you support?" The centurion of the second cohort asked, clearly wanting to gain his favor.
"I will participate on whichever team, that is attacking the massive wall that was built." Percy said, "Because I can't remember the last time I leveled a large structure for pure enjoyment."
Now everyone was looking at him like he was crazy, their looks were mixed with fear.
Ahhh, peace and quiet, now he could enjoy his cheeseburger. There, All done! Now he could talk.
"Where will the cohorts be meeting?" He asked,
"Immediately after dinner, the cohorts will be meeting in their respective armories." Reyna supplied,
"Thank you" Percy said,
The Romans were suiting up, he was in the 5th cohorts armory. The elder centurion, Gwen, came up to him.
"Do you have a suit of armor or some sort of uniform to wear for the games?" She asked,
"I am perfectly in uniform." Percy said, "This jacket offers more protection than your entire suit of armor."
As Percy was heading out, he drew the sword he made from the sheath on his back, and flicked his wrist forward. In one hand he held the Irish hand-and-a-half longsword, while his sleeve held the custom Wraith Katar.
"You two, on me." He said, walking in between Hazel and "Babyface" Frank.
"Why?" Hazel asked,
"So you may see beyond your curse Hazel." Percy spoke cryptically.
"And me?" Frank asked,
"To meet your father." Percy said, internally he hoped that his father was Mars. So he would get his briefing and claim his son.
That definitely got both of their attention. As such they followed him like dogs, they walked directly up to the earthen walls about ten feet away.
"This is what your curse could become." Percy said, as he lightly tapped his foot on the ground.
And the walls camp tumbling down.
That was a slight over statement, only a very controlled portion of the wall came tumbling down.
"Have fun" Was all Percy said,
Frank was blown away. The mysterious yet incredibly powerful man had claimed to know the identity of his father. He also contained the destruction of an entire section of wall. Now he was fighting like a demon, moving so fast that his two blades were nothing but blurs and his feet seldom touched the ground in between jumps, slashes, stabs, and back flips.
In a matter of moments the fight was over before the rest of the cohort could even get there. When they arrived Gwen only wore a look of astonishment on her face. Everyone crowded around Lieutenant Crow, they parted for Reyna as she came through.
Then Lieutenant Crow turned and stretched out a hand. As if reaching to catch an imaginary baseball.
"If you are attempting murder, you are very incriminating." He said, as the crowd parted until Octavian was revealed to have his spear head inches away from Gwen's back, ready to pierce.
"Tell me, how long has Gaea been listening into your ear? How long have you allowed it to continue?" Lieutenant Crow said,
Octavian made obvious attempts to speak, or even move but was unsuccessful.
"You are lucky, if you were a Wraith I would have you killed for attempted murder. Fortunately for you the Romans invented the concepts of bribery and burocracy."
Octavian was cuffed and taken away.
"The Senate will decide your fate." Reyna said,
Then lightning flashed and a man emanating an angry aura appeared where it struck.
"Romans lend me your ears!" He shouted, the mans shouted.
"Mars" Percy growled,
"Ah! They sent a Wraith!" Mara said, "I always liked Wraiths, the only thing is that their Captain freaks me out." Mars finished.
"Just claim your son and give me the sheet of paper so we can all get on with our lives." Percy said, while walking up to Mars.
"You Wraith officers are such joykillers." Mars said, as he took out a sheet of paper and gave it to Percy.
Percy took the sheet and put it in his jean pocket.
"Now for the more important reason to why I am here." Mars said, "To claim my son!"
"Frank, come and give your father a hug!" Mars said gleefully.
Frank took tentative steps towards the man, but once he got there he was greeted with open arms (literally).
The Senate was rowdy at best, and Percy hated politics.
"Lieutenant, what is your comment on the proposed quest and accompanying prophecy?" A senator said,
"To me it is not a prophecy, they are orders. I will carry them out with or without your... representatives. I suggest you send them so the obejective is carried out in a way that you would prefer as opposed to my preference." Percy said,
"What mode of transport will be used for this journey?" Another senator asked,
"I have already prepared a vehicle." Percy informed them,
"Do we even trust him enough to carry out Rome's best wishes?" A senator asked
"You don't" Percy answered for them.
"Which is why you are going to send two members of the fifth cohort to accompany me. I leave at 6:00 in the morning, they will either be in the back of my car at 5:59 or walking to Alaska." Percy said,
"That is final" He ordered, leaving behind a silent Senate house.
(A/N:) No offence to any Pastafarians out there. Also I took the week also (sorry). I will reduce the publication to about once a week because I am making a book on what the αψεγάδιας is doing in Boston
