BP: It almost feels like I have to explain why it takes me so long to update in every chapter I updated, it's because my temporary Microsoft Word expired and I have to get a permanent one.
"I have a new mission for all of you. A rich lady by the name of Renee Smith has requested us to escort her to the airport for a trip to Malaysia. Her house is 60 kilometers away from the airport and because she is a hoarder of antiques, and her house was so full of objects she could hardly move around. Kalluto, you can use your telekinesis to get her and her luggage out. Now, she guards her treasures most jealously and she believes that someone will attack her for her treasures, so I want you all to protect her at any cost. Stick together; try not to separate no matter what." Mr. Anderson said to his bodyguards. The bodyguards nodded.
"Do you think we can go with them? We want to see how their mission works for once." Atobe said. The others nodded in agreement.
"Fine, I'll let Kalluto and Andrea be in charge of your safety." Ryoma nodded stiffly at the order. "The rest of you will guard Ms. Smith."
"Guys, we have to go undercover. Dress in your regular clothes to avoid suspicion." Ryoma ordered his team members.
"Yes, boss!" the others said in unison and went to their rooms to prepare.
Later, all of them came out, wearing casual clothes. Ryoma noticed some of his members checking Andrea out. He soon found out why. She was wearing a blue satin tiered top and a playful pink pleated skirt. Although she looked really great, Ryoma knew that she concealed her guns underneath the black jacket, which hides her lethal personality away for the public eye.
"Ready?" Ryoma called out. Everyone nodded. "Let's go!"
There were two cars. Fuji and his lovers piled in on the backseat of one, while Ryoma and Andrea took the front seat. Ryoma is the driver. The rest of the bodyguards piled in the other car. Ryoma started the engine and followed the car in front to Ms. Smith's house. The journey went very smoothly, too smoothly for Ryoma's liking. Ryoma couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that something's wrong.
When they reached the house, Ryoma said to his former lovers. "Stay here. Andrea and I will be right back." They nodded, and Ryoma went in the house with his fellow bodyguards.
While Ryoma is gone, the five of them decided to make small talk.
"Nothing wrong could happen when they escort this person and the items to the airport and back, right?" Fuji muttered to his lovers.
"I doubt it. I bet this person is so paranoid of being attacked she needs bodyguards to escort her to the airport." Sanada replied, as they watched Ryoma use telekinesis to shift Ms. Smith's items to the car. He then went back to the house, presumably to shift more items.
"The bodyguards seemed really competent." Tezuka commented. "Do you think we should hire one of them for us as well?"
"Hmm….They are competent. Do you think we should ask Mr. Anderson to loan us one of them as part of the business deal?" Atobe asked.
"The bodyguards are not objects, Kei. Besides, I know who you would pick." Tezuka replied. "Kalluto may look like Ryoma, sound like Ryoma and behave like him, but Kalluto is NOT Ryoma. I don't think you'd be doing him a favor if you brought him back to Japan, a place he is not familiar with."
"We can show him around. We can even let him live in our mansion." Fuji said enthusiastically.
"Yeah, and then what? Send him to the small room like we did to Ryoma? I think he'd break out of the mansion in three seconds flat if we did that." Sanada replied.
"I don't think Kalluto is fond of us, considering what we did to his brother and then we tried to drag him back home when he first met us."
Just as Atobe opened his mouth to answer, the door opened again, and Ryoma and Andrea returned.
"Mission's done. Let's go home." Ryoma muttered. He started the wheel, and drove away from the house. But, Yukimura noticed something. Ryoma drove away without even waiting for the other bodyguards, who are still in the house.
"Wait, Kalluto, aren't you going to wait for your bodyguards as well?"
"Well, I don't think there's a need to wait for them. I'm the leader after all." Ryoma replied. He turned to Andrea. "Right, Andrea?"
Andrea nodded. "We can get to the airport first and wait for the others from there."
"But, Mr. Anderson said try not to separate and also, the airport is the other direction." Atobe pointed out.
Ryoma smiled ominously. "Looks like we're exposed, Melissa." He turned back into a man with red hair and dark grey eyes which are narrowed with malice, while Andrea turned back into a woman with blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
All five widened their eyes. They are in a trap!
"It was foolish of the leader of the bodyguards to bring all of you to his mission." The man sneered. "I wonder what he is thinking."
Melissa laughed. "I mean, come on, Ms. Smith is a difficult person to guard, and yet the leader brought these five, who has no experience whatsoever along. Wonder when he'll notice that the car is missing?"
They stopped at an abandoned building, and the five of them were forced to obey the duo's orders as they were all held at gun point, and the duo also met some of their friends. The five of them exchanged significant looks as they were led to the basement of the building. A few others were also inside the building, doing something to entertain themselves. All of them looked up when they saw the five of them enter.
"Who are these people, Melissa?" one of them asked.
"Oh, we got them when the bodyguards left the car unguarded while trying to load items in the car for Renee Smith." Melissa smirked. "The White Masks brought them along to their mission, but they had no experience whatsoever." She kicked Fuji in the back, making him fall to the ground. "Do you think we should contact our leader?" As she clicked her weapon, Atobe recognized the symbol carved on it.
It was the symbol of the Death Troupe, an infamous organization of thieves. The one Kalluto's group will have to ultimately have to eliminate.
"Yeah, we should. Noelle, Brandon. I'll leave it to you both to guard the five of them. Make sure they do not escape."
"Yes, Rein." said Noelle and Brandon in unison.
Ryoma cussed as when they returned, the car that he was driving was missing. All five of them were waiting inside, and now, they are probably kidnapped! But what they do not know is that the car has a tracking device where Ryoma has placed his Nen on: All he need to do is use Nen Magnet to track down his car, and that's where the five of them would probably be.
"Andrea, you come with me. The rest of you get to the airport." Ryoma used his Nen to help him fly. Andrea used her Nen-enhanced shoes to increase her speed.
Half an hour later, he finally detected a pull when he used his Nen Magnet. He landed next to the abandoned building.
Andrea stopped beside him. "Are you sure this is the place?"
"Yes. My car is over there." Sure enough, the car is parked next to the building. "Come on, Andrea."
"I can't believe something like this would happen, and this is the first task we got to see the bodyguards do." Yukimura muttered at the corner they were huddled at, while the guards the Death Troupe set up is sitting at the other end, where the door is.
"That's why they are called bodyguards, Seiichi." Sanada muttered.
"Hey! Be quiet there!" Noelle barked.
They fell silent. There is no way they can defeat the two of them, if the members of the Death Troupe is as powerful as Kalluto mentioned. Pure combat skill is not enough to handle them.
Just then, the door smashed, and the two of them jumped back. It was Kalluto and Andrea.
"Well, well, look who's here! The leader himself." Brandon sneered.
Ryoma sighed. "You know, I did not ask them to come to watch how we bodyguards handle our mission. Will you just hand them back now?"
Noelle snorted. "Yeah, as if." She took out her sword, and Ryoma sensed Nen aura. She is about to use her Nen technique. Before he could react, a shot was heard. Andrea had shot the sword out of Noelle. The bullet had also scratched Noelle's face.
"You bitch!" Noelle screamed. "How dare you ruin my pretty face!" She leapt up and released a barrage of knives at Andrea.
"Andrea!" Ryoma shouted out of concern.
"Don't worry about me. You take on the guy; I'll take on the girl!" Andrea replied, as she blocked the knives with Nen-enhanced explosive bullets in her gun.
Ryoma stomped on the ground, aiming a seismic wave at Brandon, who lost his balance slightly, before activating his Fire Whip. It burnt Ryoma on the cheek, and when it wrapped around Ryoma, it burnt his body. But just then, the Fire Whip froze. Ryoma broke out of the whip calmly, and healed himself using one of his Nen techniques. Just then, the room turned cold; he was going to use Ice Manipulation.
Meanwhile, Andrea had two guns out and is firing the dual guns she currently wields; she then tossed both guns into the air while quickly grabbing the other two she had and then repeating the process. This allowed Andrea to block the knives coming towards her and also the Nen-induced strings, even if the knife is manipulated to pursue the target until it hits the target.
Andrea managed to use one of the bullets to deflect the knife back to Noelle. It poked Noelle in the chest. Noelle stopped throwing to get the knife out, and Andrea used the opportunity to stab the knife even further in her chest. Noelle fell to the ground, dead.
Ryoma touched Brandon, and he realized he couldn't move; his feet are slowly freezing and the ice is working its way up.
With the last few minutes he had, Brandon hissed, "This is not the end…" Then, his throat was frozen, rendering him unable to speak. He then mouthed two words before he was completely frozen. Ryoma used a Nen-enhanced punch to destroy the ice statue that was Brandon.
"You guys alright?" Andrea asked.
The five boys nodded, not daring to say anything because Andrea is covered in blood, and Ryoma was wiping his weapons with his shirt. They had just witnessed these two killing right before their eyes. Is this the requirement of a normal bodyguard?
They walked out of the building, Ryoma talking into the walkie-talkie. "Yes, Kalluto here. Yeah, I got the five of them back. No they are not harmed in anyway. Ok, I will."
"What did Mr. Anderson say?"
"Bring the five of them back to the mansion." Ryoma simply replied.
On the way back, Ryoma suppressed a shudder when he realized what the two words Brandon had said before he was frozen.
"This is not the end, Echizen Ryoma."
The Death Troupe knows who he actually is.
