Chapter 7! Thank you readers for reading this far! This is going to be my longest chapter so I hope that's alright with you!

Autumn went over to Pippa's that night and Cupcake was over for a sleep over.

"And then, we went out to the movies and watched Catching Fire!" Pippa raved about her date with Jamie. "It was so romantic!"

Cupcake laughed, she was glad her best friend was really happy. "I'm so happy for you Pippa!"

Pippa smiled then looked at Autumn. "So how about you and Jack, has he been taking you out on dates?"

Autumn wasn't listening; she was sitting on Pippa's bed glancing out at the street.

"Autumn?" Pippa was concerned for her friend.

"What?" Autumn snapped out of it and looked over at Pippa.

"What's going on, you don't look happy?" Pippa frowned at Autumn.

"It's nothing, I'm fine." Autumn said and looked back out the window.

Autumn and Cupcake glanced at each other. "No, you're not okay." Pippa sat down on the edge of her bed. "It's about Jack, isn't it?" Autumn turn to look at Pippa, not understanding how she knew that, "You two got into a fight. You know you can't hide things Autumn, your an open book."

"Apparently..." Autumn sighed.

"What happened?" Cupcake asked.

"I don't really want to talk about it." Autumn said and hugged her knees.

"You can tell us everything, we tell you everything." Pippa pushed on.

Autumn sighed in defeat. "Okay, I'll tell you what happened." Autumn told the girls everything that happened and what Jack said to her.

"Are you mad at him?" Pippa asked.

"No, I'm just sad." Autumn put a hand to her heart. "It hurts."

"Oh Autumn I'm so sorry!" Cupcake exclaimed.

"It's fine, actually talking about it helps." Autumn smiled.

"Well good!" Pippa jumped up from the bed and walked over to her TV. "We are watching the Hunger Games! I'm in the mood for that movie."

"What's the Hunger Games?" Autumn asked.

Pippa and Cupcake stared at Autumn like she had two heads. "What, are you crazy? You never heard of the Hunger Games!"

"You two keep forgetting I'm 355 years old..."

"Oh right, well it's like the second best movie in the world, Catching Fire is the first." Pippa giggled in excitement. She put the movie on and squealed when the logo "Lionsgate" came on. "I'm so excited!"

"Calm down Pippa, you're going to wake up your parents." Cupcake whispered and Pippa stuck her tough out at her.

Autumn laughed at the two, she started to feel a lot better now that she is hanging out with some friends.

Autumn was really trying to watch the movie, it was very interesting but she was really tired. She hasn't slept and she flew all over the place. One little nap wouldn't hurt.

Pippa was texting Jamie while she was watching the movie. She told him about Jack and Autumn's fight.

"I hate to see a good relationship die… I don't know what to do." Pippa texted Jamie.

"I'll talk to Jack, I'm going to go to his pond tonight, so hopefully he will be there." Jamie texted back a second later.

"Alright thanks, well I better go. My phone is going to die. Love you :)." Pippa didn't know if she should have sent that to Jamie because he didn't respond right away as he usually does.

"Love you too 3." Jamie texted back ten seconds later.

Pippa looked over at Autumn to see her asleep on her bed. Pippa sighs and walks over to Autumn. "Autumn wake up, I want to sleep on my bed." She didn't budge. Pippa was thinking about dragging her off but she realized how peaceful Autumn looked while she was sleeping.

"I'll just sleep on the floor..." Pippa mumbled. She took out sheets and placed them on the ground. She looked over at Cupcake and Autumn, "Party poopers..."

Jaime stood near Jack's pond waiting for Jack to show. He has been waiting for a half hour and he was starting to get really cold. That meant Jack was near.

"Jamie?" Jack called from behind him. "You should be in bed."

Jamie turned around and rolled his eyes. "One, I'm not a kid anymore and I don't have a bed time. Two, we need to talk."

"About what? Make it fast because I have to go soon." Jack said.

"Well you better get comfortable, because you're staying until you answer every question." Jamie smirked.

Jack smiled, "You sure have a smart mouth, Jamie."

"I learned from the best."

"You're welcome!" Jack laughed.

Jamie smirked then became a little serious. "I want to know why you left Autumn."

"So this is what this is about..."Jack frowned.

"Why do you think you're a danger to her, do you think you're a danger to all of us?" Jamie asked but Jack didn't answer. "Who told you were dangerous?" Jack still gave no answer. "Did Pitch tell you?"

Jack's eyes widened, "How do you know about that?"

"So it is true." Jamie smirked. "I see the black sand, frost and leaves when I walk around the streets. Pitch was the one that told you that you where dangerous, wasn't he?"

"To the people that I care about the most." Jack stated.

"Autumn was the person who you really care about the most, so you left her." Jamie crossed his arms. "That was stupid."

Jack glared and Jamie, "I was protecting her okay! You don't understand, Jamie."

"No, I do understand Jack and I'm telling you, what you did was stupid!" Jamie exclaimed.

Jack rolled his eyes, "Okay."

"Pitch is out there and Autumn is alone glowing like a beacon!" Jamie shouted. He took in a breath to calm down. "Jack, I don't know if you know this but you are like a brother to me." Jack looked at Jamie shocked that is how he views him. "And I don't think what you did was the right choice..." Jamie started to walk out of the forest leaving Jack to think. He really hopes that he knocked some sense into Jack.

"Pippa!" Cupcake shouted to Pippa who was still sleeping when it was 1:00 pm.

"I'm up!" She exclaimed and sat up straight.

"What time did you go to bed?" Autumn asked.

"I don't know, right after the movie?" Pippa answered.

"Well I'm going home. I have to go shopping with my mom." Cupcake said and gave the girls a hug. "Bye."

"Bye." Autumn and Pippa waved as Cupcake walked out.

"What are you going to do, Autumn?" Pippa turn to ask the spirit.

"I don't know hang out with you little bit." Autumn answered the teen.

The two hung out and talked about things. Autumn told Pippa what really happened in history and why people don't talk about it.

"Wow it feels like I know nothing about history now." Pippa was dumbfounded.

Autumn smiled, "If you need help in history, just ask someone who lives over 300 years."

"Yeah, right!" Pippa beamed.

A knock came from outside Pippa's bedroom door. "Pippa are you dressed, we are going out to church in a little bit."

"It's Sunday already?" Pippa was shocked, time flies by fast.

There was a sigh behind the door, "Yes Pippa, know get ready. " Pippa's mom turned away from the door and walked back down the stairs.

Pippa turned around to Autumn with a smile, "Sorry Autumn but I have to go."

"It's fine, I'll see you later." Autumn smiled.

Pippa wrapped her arms around Autumn into a tight embrace, "I hope you and Jack work things out..."

Autumn smiled softly and hugged back, "Yeah, me too." Autumn opened the bedroom window and flew out, waving Pippa goodbye. Autumn didn't know what to do. Jamie and the rest of his friends go to the same church so they won't be able to play. She could just go to church herself but most of the children there would get distracted so it's best to not let that happen.

Autumn sighed she didn't know what to do. She doesn't feel like flying around all over the place again. It isn't her season anywhere around the world so she can't color the trees. Autumn was bored, and she can't handle boredom well.

"I think I'll go to North's and see if he needs help getting ready for Christmas!" Autumn thought and flew faster to the North Pole.

"North?" Autumn flew into North's Workshop and saw North looking over the Globe once again.

"Autumn, how are you doing?" North voice boomed in the quite room.

"I'm doing alright." Autumn said. "What are you looking at?"

North laughed and turned back to the Globe. "Just looking over the children, there is less fear, thanks to you and the Guardians." North smiled.

"I wish I could help more." Autumn smiled.

North chuckled, "I know what you can help me with; you can help wrap presents with the yetis and make sure the elves are not up to trouble."

"Okay!" Autumn laughed. Autumn started walking away until North stopped her.

"Autumn..." North called. She turned around to look at him. "Jack told me what happened. He is just very stressed and confused right now. Just give him some time, things will be alright."

Autumn didn't say anything but nod her head. She wants to believe that things between them would be okay, but right now she doesn't want to think about it and move on for now. She walked into the room were the yetis where wrapping the Christmas gifts. They were working very hard and never noticed Autumn walk in.

"Hello, Phil." Autumn greeted a gray yeti. Phil looked down and saw his favorite season spirit. He grunted a happy hello and patted Autumn on the head. "Do you mind if I help wrap presents?" The yeti shook his head and moved over so Autumn and help. He showed her how to wrap correctly. Her first few wrappings where sloppy but she quickly got the hang of it. They worked together for a while until a group of elves came and dragged Autumn away from Phil. Phil laughed as he watched Autumn get pulled away and got back to work.

"Hey guys what are you doing?" Autumn laughed and tried to get out of their grip. "Why are you little guys so strong?" They pulled her toward the reindeer's shed.

The reindeers where excited to see Autumn and raised their hooves in the air happily. One reindeer gently pulled Autumn's hair with his teeth to get her attention. "Hi there Blitzen!" Autumn pet him on the head. "You ready to lead the sleigh soon?" He snorted softly as if saying yes. "That a boy!" Autumn stayed with the reindeer for a while and gave them each a carrot.

Autumn smiled and said her goodbyes to the reindeer, elves, and yetis. The elves didn't want her to leave and grabbed on to her ankles crying. "I'm going to be back soon." Autumn laughed. She tried pushing them off but they kept clinging back on. A nearby yeti grabbed and yanked the elves off. "Thanks Yaloo."

Yaloo grumbled and walked away with the crying elves. Autumn flew out to the globe room and said goodbye to North.

"Goodbye Autumn."North waved and watched as Autumn flew back to Burgess.

"So you are actually going to hang out with us today?" Jamie asked Jack.

Jack shrugged, "Yeah, it's been a while."

"Yay Jack!" Sophie jumped back and down. Jack smiled at Sophie.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" Jack asked.

"Yeah!" Sophie exclaimed happily and dropped to the ground, collecting snow to make a snowman. Jack smirked and waved his hand and just like that a snowman was made.

"Wow Jack!" Sophie stared at Jack's snowman, it was perfect! Even Jamie was impressed to see Jack do this. All three stayed out and played in the snow just like old times until Mrs. Bennett called the children in. Jack followed the two in the house and went to Jamie's room.

Jamie sat on his bed typing something on his phone. Jack looked at what he was doing and rolled his eyes. "I don't see the fun in playing on that."

Jamie smirked, "What, not used to cell phones old man?" Jack threw a large snowball at Jamie's head which made him fall off the bed. "Okay, maybe I deserved that." Jamie crawled back onto his bed and put his phone on his dresser. "So, did you talk to her yet?"

Jack was confused, "What are you talking about."

Jamie stared blankly at Jack, "Autumn... Did you go to her and say sorry." Jack was silent so Jamie took that as a no. "Wow Jack."

"Like I said, it's the only way to protect her." Jack stated.

The boys didn't speak but they both jumped when they both heard an angry snort. Jack and Jamie turn to look and saw a Nightmare outside the open window. As they looked at it, it turned around and ran away as if taunting them to follow.

"A Nightmare!" Jamie jumped up and run to his window.

"It's Pitch, I better end this now..." Jack was about to fly out the window but turn to Jamie. "Stay here."

"No, I want to help!" Jamie said and tried getting his jacket on but was having trouble because he was slightly trembling with fear.

"You can help by watching over your sister, avoid shadows!" Jack ordered Jamie. "I'll be back." Jack flew out the window and followed the direction the Nightmare went.

When Autumn got to Burgess, she landed in the forest. Something didn't feel right, she sensed danger and she didn't want anything to get into town. With her senses sharp, she walked in the woods. She heard movement behind a large tree so she carefully walked over towards it. As she slowly walked to the tree, a large Nightmare jumped out at her. She hit the dark horse with her chakrams and it was destroyed instantly. More Nightmares and Fearlings came up from the shadows and glared at Autumn.

"Great..." Autumn mumbled as she was surrounded by hundreds of Pitch's minions. There was no way out of this; she had to fight even if no one was going to help her. She stood into a fighting position and waited for them to attack. When no one moved, she attacked first. She used the wind to send one of her chakrams flying around her in a large circle, taking out a bunch of enemies. The Nightmares and Fearlings were outraged by their comrade's defeat and charged at Autumn. Autumn tried her hardest fighting all of the Nightmares and Fearlings, but she was greatly outnumbered.

Autumn hissed in pain as a Fearling scratched her arm. It ripped through her orange jacket and made a deep long cut to her shoulder down. A lot of blood was dripping down from her wound. Autumn grabbed her arm and stepped back away from the Fearling. She wasn't looking at where she was going and bumped right into a large Nightmare. Autumn gasped and rolled out of the way before its large hooves hit Autumn in the head. Autumn began to panic as she was on the ground she was having trouble getting up. She felt lightheaded and kept falling back down. "Is this the end?"

"Giving up already, Autumn?" Pitch appeared from the shadows and stood in front of Autumn.

"Pitch..." Autumn growled weakly.

Pitch smiled as he saw Autumn fall back down again. "Having trouble getting up are you? Here let me help you..." He grabbed her neck hard and picked her up from the ground.

Autumn gasped for air and clawed at Pitch's hands. Pitch tightens his grip on her neck and held her up in the air. Autumn tired to scream, but it only came out as a choking sound and kicked at Pitch.

Pitch's smile widens as he watched Autumn struggle for her life. Autumn's vision started to get blurry and she began seeing black dots. Suddenly, Pitch was caught off guard and was sent flying into a tree, dropping Autumn out of his deathly grip.

Autumn gasped for air as she was dropped. Her vision was still coming back to her so she didn't see who just saved her. She managed to crawl away from the fallen Pitch and make her way to a tree. She finally got her vision back and turned to look at who helped her. She was completely shocked at who she saw.

Pitch slowly got up and glared darkly at the person who stood before him. "Frost!"

Jack glared at Pitch with hate in his eyes. With a sharp battle cry, Jack charged at Pitch. Pitch formed his scythe and blocked Jack's attack. Autumn stared at Jack, "Why would he save me?" She continued to watch Jack violently attack Pitch, never realizing Fearlings where sneaking up from behind her.

"Do you really think you should be doing this Jack?" Pitch smirked. "Or do you not care what happens to your dear Autumn?"

Jack's eyes widen as Autumn let out a loud scream. He turned around and saw the Fearlings tightly tie around her and cover her mouth so she wouldn't scream again. She looked at Jack with complete fear in her eyes. "Autumn!" He tried running to her but Pitch stood in front of him.

"You better hurry and come find us, or you'll be too late..." Pitch disappeared in the shadows along with his Fearlings and Autumn.

"Autumn!" Jack tried reaching her, but it was too late. "No... What have I done...? I'm such an idiot!" Jack grabbed his white hair in frustration. Tears crept into the corner of his eyes. "What am I going to do?" He looked at the moon. "MiM, can you please give me a sign to where Pitch is?" MiM didn't give him an answer. "I know you can hear me! Give me a sign!" Jack was getting very emotional and a snow storm began to roll in. "PLEASE ANYTHING!" Jack screamed at the moon, desperately looking for an answer. Man in Moon never gave Jack an answer and it looked like it became dimmer, as if he was ignoring Jack. Jack couldn't contain his anger anymore and screamed into the air in frustration.
