"There's no need for you to be so cheerful." Aizawa mumbled as Naomasa approached the juvenile with handcuffs. "It's not like this is a party."

Izuku's grin remained and he twisted to lock eyes with the teacher. "Oh, that's where you're wrong! This all is much too fascinating to not be anything short of a field trip for me." He turned slightly as the handcuffs clicked behind his back and smiled at Deku. "You into science much?"

Deku pulled his mouth into a line, taking an involuntary step back. "'Fraid not. Kinda focusing on heroics."

Izuku shrugged, smile changing into a disinterested frown. "Shame. My science and tech are honestly my greatest weapons. Speaking of," incredulous, he turned to Naomasa, "are these quirk negating cuffs?"

The detective blinked. "Yes. How'd you know?"

"Oh I helped design them back home."

Naomasa cuffed Dabi next, taking away the man's chocolate bar. "My chocolate!" He protested while being dragged to his feet.

"What on earth do you need that for?" Katsuki asked while staring at Izuku's cuffed hands.

"What, my chocolate? I paid for that!" Retailiated a very confused Dabi.

"Not you!"

"Oh I wouldn't be that shocked. After all," Izuku locked eyes with his twin, amusement flickering in his eyes with his face was set in stone, "our dear double here has quite the mighty quirk."

That statement took a second to process.

The penny dropped. Various shouts of "he has a quirk?!" and "he's quirkless?!" rang throughout the room as Deku stood frozen to the spot; all the while Izuku kept solid eye contact with his twin, gaze turning from amusement into something penetrating. It was as if he was picking Deku apart through only eye contact. The word "mighty" was bouncing around in his head, and it felt like Izuku could hear it (or maybe he was just seeing Deku's (surely he looked like a wreck)) for the criminal started laughing lightly.

'He somehow knows! He knows how I have a quirk!'

Izuku's chuckling was brought to an end as Aizawa snapped the boy around. "How did you know that? Deku hadn't been in here since we arrived, and he certainly hasn't shown off his quirk."

Izuku's face scrunched. "I, looked it up. Like ya do." He stated this as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Aizawa's scowl only deepened.

"I said none of your tech was to be used."

Mouth dropping open with an aghast expression, Izuku wordlessly implied that if his hands were free he would have one splayed over his heart. "I have not!" He spoke in a matching tone, stepping backwards until he was close to a wall. "I used yours!" With a bang of his elbow against the wall, a panel opened up to reveal a board of circuitry. Izuku's grin returned. "Smart walls. Another thing I had a hand in. While not much in and of themselves, they do connect to the internet (making them a bit of a disadvantage to keep,) and so it was easy to simply-"

As Izuku spoke he pulled his hands from behind his back, one free of its cuff. He worked quickly with the circuitry (adding in a few parts that were stored in his pockets,) and soon there was a holographic display hovering before the group. Video feed of the sports festival played Deku's fight against Todoroki. The guests all gasped as Deku destroyed his opponent's ice with one flick of his finger. The boy in question blushed and scratched the back of his head as his extreme measures played out; this was going to be hard to deal with. He sent a glance to All Might, silently asking for support.

However, All Might's gaze was flicking between his own double and Izuku, bland shock on his face.

Izuku cut the feed off as the battle turned into something more personal between the two. "So my little twinsie here has both a strong quirk and a promising future as a hero." His gaze cut to Deku, amusement all evaporated. "Congrats by the way."

He jerked back in surprise. "W-what?"

Izuku raised one eyebrow; so far Deku's shocked lack of words was far from what he had expected. Clearly the boy had not persued the the same desire for knowledge as he himself.

"Con-grat-u-lations? You've gotten everything I wanted as a kid and, seeing as you're standing before me, they were your wants as well." Izuku shrugged, sitting cross legged on the floor and emptying his pockets of spare parts. Instantly his fingers were dug in the parts. Pieces were clicked together then taken apart and arranged in a different pattern, then the next layer was on and the system repeated. "I mean, hey, you had the will to do what I couldn't." He shook his head, eyes going distant and voice turning soft as his fingers moved even faster. "What I would have given ... just a spark ..."

There wasn't a chance for him to elaborate, or anyone to ask a question, for a tiny little thing in Kirishima's pocket woke up and the sound of Izuku's voice sent sent her into a happy frenzy. In a moment tiny Aithuza had jumped from her hidey-hole and and skittered across the metallic floor to her creator. His face lit up.

"There's my baby!" The dragon was circling in his hand, weaving inbetween his fingers and chirping as he cooed and coddled her. "Oh my sweet little girl - aww I've missed you." She made a whistling chirp and leapt onto his shoulder and into his hair. Izuku's eyebrows knit together. "Didn't I give you use of those wings? Why not use them?" He detangled her from his curly hair, flipping her onto her back and poking at her sides. His face melted into sympathy. "Aww, a sticky wing. Poor girl." In another second, Izuku had a platform out in front of him and Aithuza was disassembled before him. His voice turned into a mumble. "And you're quite in need of an upgrade as well, aren't you? Compared to what I make now ... well, you'll always be special in some way."

Eyes turned from the busy mechanic to Kirishima. All those eyes were from the world he was visiting. The boy blushed. "The, uh, first time I met Izuku, I met little girl 'Thuza and she and I got along so well, he let me keep her." He scratched the back of his head under all the looks. "Didn't know her wing was messed up though."

Izuku snapped his head up, squinting through a pair of glasses that had appeared. "You didn't notice she wasn't flying?"

"Well, no."

"Hmm." Izuku turned back to his work and didn't say another word.

Ochako stepped forward, kneeling and getting a closer look at the mechanic. She'd always liked the dragon, but she'd never figured out how she stayed together. Curious, she asked Izuku as much.

"Specialized magnets mostly. She's too small and delicate for screws or nails, and adhesives are too unforgiving." He leaned in closer, expert fingers adding and adjusting parts.

"Huh."

As they watched, Izuku flicked one piece of metal and the dragon snapped back together. She was bigger this time, her size attesting to the upgrade Izuku had mentioned. From half the size of a hand to fitting snugly in one loose fist, she was still small but that didn't matter to her adoring owner. Kiri gasped and reached for his big girl, but drew back in surprise. She was making a strange hacking sound, much like a coughing kitten. Sparks tumbled out of her mouth before a 12 centimeter long jet of bright blue flames burst forth. Aithusa blinked, jerking her head back. With an elated squak she jumped into the air, circling Kiri's head like a possessed cartoon bird as she chittered away.

The students (especially those not of the guests) watched the little mechanic in awe, cooing over her adorable personality.

"Fascinating!" Nezu clapped. The boy truly was intelegent then! From the smart walls, to having escaped the handcuffs so easily, to this little engineering wonder, the boy was proving to be an absalute delight. "I have never seen such quick work!"

"Me neither." Ochako muttered. "And I spend time with Mei!"

Izuku's face lit up. "Oh yeah Mei! How is she doing by the way?"

"Great! I was actually on the way to hang out with her before ... y'know. Shame, she would have loved this."

"Totally."

"Ahem." Aizawa was thoroughly annoyed at this point. One distraction after another was delaying the plans for the day. The school's festivals were not made to be postponed or interfered with; this one in particular. Izuku's eyes cut up to him, fingers once again buried in the parts scattered on the floor. "If we could PLEASE proceed with this?"

"Sure." Izuku shrugged and gestured to the floor before him. Naomasa huffed a laugh and sat cross legged before the boy. He gestured to the shapeless mass of parts.

"Whatcha makin?"

"No idea. Probably nothing I'll keep" Izuku grinned up at the detective, eyes wide and childlike. "I basically keep these with me solely for fidgeting." Izuku flicked one corner, do-dads spinning and gears clicking. "See? Completely useless." He began to disassemble the contraption and restarted in seconds.

"Do you know what my quirk is?" Naomasa asked. He wanted to see how much the boy really knew.

"Human lie detector. Pretty much what it sounds like."

"Correct. And you are infact quirkless?"

"As the day I was born." Izuku smiled distantly, focusing on his fingers. He could feel everyone's eyes on him, waiting for him to slip up; despite what they believe, he did his best to be honest.

"And you are a villain?"

Izuku frowned. Here they go ... "Yes." Better to just give short answers than something more detailed; that would only devolve into a clash of philosophies and neither party had the time for that. Izuku agreed with Aizawa and wanted this over with a soon as could be. He had inter-dimensionional travel to work out after all.

"Would, in any fashion or intent, this situation we find ourselves in be your doing?"

"Mmmm," Izuku frowned, tilting his head, "not that I know of. I mean, hey, this is epic. Alternate realities? Sheesh if I'd KNOWN for SURE... but I didn't so I can't see how this would be my fault."

Naomasa nodded. The boy was quite truthful and frank; the type to say his mind, what he truly believed. "And, Izuku, do you mean any harm to anyone here? Any ill intent?"

Izuku smirked, disassembling the new contraption under his fingers. His eyes cut up to the detective. From this angle it made the dark bags under his eyes and severe scars stand out and shadow his emerald eyes. "If I had wanted to harm any of them, I would have by now." At Naomasa's confused face Izuku leaned back with a sigh, tilting his face up towards the ceiling. "Y'see, quite a while back - ooh, probably about a year now - there was a promise made to keep hero students out of harm's way where we are concerned; all to give them the most time to change." He lolled his head to the side, a smile sliding onto his face as he locked gazes with Tenya. "You remember, though, don't you?"

Tenya growled, his own face darkening. "Like I could forget." He growled out each word keeping gaze with Izuku. The Apprentice pouted.

"You're not still vengeful over that are you? Besides, if it's any consolation, your brother was all Master's work; the only part I had was using his phone to call emergency services."

"Wait, hold up. 'Master'? Who is that?" Naomasa waved his hands, as if to fan away his confusion.

Behind him however, a look of horrific revelation dawned on Deku's face.

Assuming that the pro hero Ingenium had been attacked and taken from the hero spotlight in the same spot as the one in his world had ...

Then that could only mean ...

"Oh, Stain of course." Stain's Apprentice grinned widely, eyes sparkling. "He is, after all, the reason I am who I am."

A/N

And the secrets are out! Well, at least, two of them. Trust me, there are so many more; such as the all-for-one formula (which we shall be getting to in the Xover! Yay!)

I don't know how the next chapter is gonna go really. I have so many wonderful snippets of conversations and lines that I have bouncing around in my head but I just can't connect them darn it. (And they would provide so much insight into Izuku and Katsuki (how Izuku has more trouble letting go of the past than he let's on, how Kats still feels responsible and guilty over Izu as a villain, and how Izu is just a tiny, weeny, lil bit crazy.)) We are for sure going to get into the second of Izuku's two fears; the first being losing those he cares about. I'm also planning on highlighting how annoyed Izu will get with all of them, how disappointed he actually gets with Deku, and the severe differences between the two of them. Then it will be onto Izuku's pure genius in the realm of science. And boi I cant wait to dumb a whole bunch of science onto you, hehehee. Then the festival which u shall explain, is not the sports festival (though there will be competition.) Its more like a fair or carnival, but hosted by UA and allowing (within reason and rules) use of quirks. Totally something I made up. This is also gon be a bit of a challenge to write, but I shall PERSEVERE!

Also, with Naomasa, we don't really have much detail on his quirk, so I just took a bit of fanfic writer liberty. Next chapter will have a one scene OC whose quirk I still need to work out.

I've also deleted 'Aftermath Recovery' from here cause I was really dissatisfied with it. May fix it up and post it again some time, idk.

That's all! Glad you're sticking with me! Expect total heartbreak in Destiny hopefully soon!

So long Lovies!
