Sakura was in disbelief as she was heading to school. Many long hours have passed since her brother had told her about Sunohara, and that he was Sakura's close friend from her childhood.

Her memories from before were vague, but she could clearly remember that she was given something, like the pendant she had from a boy, and that she also had given said boy a similar one.

That couldn't have been Sunohara, though, right? The world isn't that small, but then again, why would he have the one Sakura had given a boy from before? And not to mention that her brother had said his name.

What caused her disbelief was that her supposed childhood friend was an idiotic infamous delinquent within her school. People do change as time passes by in life. She herself, was a source on that, but then again, when she thinks about it being Sunohara, she can't help but wonder how.

"...So the world is that small, huh?" Sakura says in disbelief. She hears a bike engine and turns around. In the distance she saw Kyou with a helmet, and she was riding a moped.

Kyou stops her bike rather roughly, "Hey, good morning."

"Yeah... I guess you can say that it is."

"Is something wrong?"

"Uh, not really." Sakura shook her head, and looked at her white moped, "I didn't know you had a bike."

"Yeah, I've had this for a while, but I just got my license just last week, so I'm a bit rusty." She explains, laughing nervously.

"So, shouldn't you keep it off the road then?"

"Don't be silly. How else am I going to practice?"

"Hmm." Sakura closed her eyes and nodded, and then opened them, "I see your point, but..."

"Don't worry. I won't hit anyone with it."

"So what about Ryou?"

"She's taking the bus." Kyou replies. Suddenly, her eyes lit up, "I know, how about I take with me to school?"

"No, thanks, I'm good. Besides, you don't have an extra helmet. I'm sure I'll need it if I will go with you." Sakura remarks with a smile.

"Ouch. What a comment there."

"It hurts less than what may or may not happen."

"Suit yourself then. I'll see you at school." Kyou says, starting up her bike again.

"Drive safe."

"Will do." With that, the two girls waved at each other and went onto to school with their own way. As she arrived at school, She goes to Class 3-D and takes her seat.

"Good morning." A soft voice said.

Sakura looked up and saw Ryou. "Oh, good morning..."

"Are things okay? You seem listless."

"No, not really." Sakura shook her right hand. "To put it, I feel really surprised right now..."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"It's something you wouldn't believe if I did tell you, Ryou."

The class rep's eyes widened. "C-Could it be that my reading was right?"

"Huh?"

"Did it?

"She did? Who is he?" Kyou asks, suddenly appearing out of nowhere.

"Where did you come from?" Sakura says in confusion, "Look, the guy I'm thinking about-"

"She met a guy. Your fortune did come true, Ryou." Kyou affirms, patting her young twin sister's back.

"Hey, are you listening?!" Sakura exclaims.

"Yep. So who is it?" Kyou asks.

"It isn't like that, and besides-" Sakura says in defense.

"It matches your reading, Ryou." Kyou interjected. "It's quite rare that something like this happens. It's best that you enjoy this while you can."

"Hey, would you please listen-"

"Later, Ryou. And good luck to you, Sakura." Kyou said in a cheery tone and left the class.

"I'll just go to my desk." Ryou also leaves Sakura.

"They didn't listen to me at all..."

Shortly after Kyou had left the class, Tomoya came into the class and took his seat while Sunohara wasn't anywhere in sight. "Hey."

"I guess you can say it is." Tomoya said, "I had to go watch Sunohara fight against Tomoyo again."

"What? He went to fight her again?" Sakura responds in disbelief. "I thought he was done with her after what happened yesterday."

"Well he isn't done. Being the sore loser he is, he wants to keep trying." Tomoya explains.

"...So where is he now?"

"Down in a dust chute."

"A dust chute? What? H-How did that happen?"

"Like I said yesterday, there's no need to worry." He says.

"I guess you're right. I saw him yesterday and he looked fine." Sakura said.

"Oh, about that. Sunohara mentioned of how you tried to help him look for something yesterday after school."

"Oh, right... That's what happened. It was just something he lost." Sakura explains, looking at the doors, "He didn't mention anything odd, did he?"

"No."

"Oh, okay then."

"Guess what, Okazaki-kun?" Ryou approached him. "I gave a reading to Sakura yesterday, and apparently her fortune came true."

"No, don't say that."

"Did it?" Okazaki replies. surprised.

"No, listen to me. Don't say it like that." Sakura asserts, annoyed.

"It's rare that your readings ever come true, so lucky you." Tomoya says, looking to Ryou and Sakura. "That reminds, Fujibayashi. Something about your sister happened this morning."

"My sister? What's wrong?" She asks.

"This morning when I was on my way to school, she and her bi-"

"Tomoya!" There was a shout. And then after said shout, a book flew by, nearly hitting Okazaki in the face. Kyou ran into the class and pulled him out into the hall.

"Bi?" Ryou mutters what she last heard and looks to Sakura. "What does he mean by that?"

"I'm not sure." Sakura saw her classmates beginning to speak among each other.

A few moments later, Okazaki returns and takes his seat. "What were you talking about?" Ryou asks him.

Tomoya stood up and faces the class. "Everyone! Fujibayashi Kyou from Class E is bi!"

Sakura looked at Okazaki and closed her mouth as she tried to hold in laughter. The other students began to talk as well.

"So she does it both with guys and girls?"

"She does seem masculine."

Kyou quickly returned and dragged Okazaki out of the classroom. Ryou walked out and Sakura followed.

"Why you...!" She held him by the neck.

"Is it true what she said?" Sakura asks her and began to laugh.

"Bike! It was a bike he was talking about!" Kyou looks at her sister who was crying and wiping her tears. "Why are you even listening to him?!"

The day had went on like the usual. Sunohara hadn't shown up for class or even for lunch. His bag though, remained at his desk. "Another day with Sunohara absent. With him gone I never got the chance to ask him about the pendants." Sakura looks to the empty desk near her.

"You've been looking at his desk for a while." Tomoya stated, leaning his head. "Worried about him?"

"No, I got something to ask him. You still haven't seen him?"

"Nope. Not even when I was roaming around the school." He explains, shaking his head. "That also reminds about something else that happened during lunch."

"What happened?"

"I heard from a few of our classmates that there's a ghost girl roaming around campus."

"A ghost girl?"

"Yeah. Apparently she seems like a real person, but she isn't. And when I went to the library I saw a strange girl reading really advanced books."

"So you think that's her?"

"I actually think that's Ichinose Kotomi from Class A." Ryou joins in the conversation. The other two turned her attention to her. "She's a genius girl who ranks top ten in every subject in the nationals. I hear she studies independently, doesn't attend classes, and the school is okay with that. She's a famous person in the school."

"A genius girl, eh?" Tomoya said under his breath. "No wonder she's strange."

"This city also has people like that, huh?" Sakura said in awe. The last period then ended and the day was over. Sakura took her bag and left to the courtyard where she saw Sunohara for the second time of the day. He was talking to Okazaki at the news board before walking off. She went and followed him.

"Hey Sunohara." She calls him.

He turns to see her, "Hey, good afternoon."

"So you were here at school."

"Just for the morning," He replies and nodded. "I left to get some training done after losing to that Sakagami Tomoyo again."

"...Why are you fighting her?"

"Because I need to prove that our last fight was just nothing more than pure luck." He replies.

"Then what about the fight that happened earlier in the day?"

"Er..." He sighs. "Ugh...that too...wasn't a good one."

"I'm sure it was."

"It was!"

"Right... Um Sunohara, I've got something else to ask you. It's a different topic..." Sakura began her words, reached into her bags and showed him the pendant she found the day before, "I found this. I was planning to give you it yesterday and earlier today, but you were gone."

"Wow!" Sunohara says in excitement, and took it by the chains, "I can't believe you found it. I thought I wasn't going to see it again."

"You're welcome. But also after finding it, I found out a few other things."

"What do you mean?" He asks, placing the pendant away in his bag.

"You know who I am, don't you? You knew who I was way before we actually talked in the halls during the first day, right? We knew each other from long ago, didn't we?" Sakura stared at him and waited for a reply.

His face at first was surprised, but it turned into a smile. "So...you've finally remembered?"

"So you did know ever since I came here? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was happy. Really happy when I first saw you on the first day of school."

"Oh it's you from before. You need something?"

"Not really..."

"Good, then I'm going."

"Wait. I'm Sunohara Youhei."

"And?"

"So you don't know who I am?"

"What's that supposed to mean? If you're just a flirt then please leave me alone. I don't want to be with people like you."

"Just seeing you was great, but after talking with you that day it was obvious you didn't know who I was. It was obvious that you weren't the same girl I knew before. And with that, I really wondered if it was best if things between us stayed how it was. I wondered if mentioning anything before would do any good."

"So...that's why you've been so nice to me. That's why you've kept trying to help me..."

"It is..." Sunohara turns back to Sakura uneasily, "...I sure wouldn't know how to even bring up something like this... But hey, it happened..."

"It did... But I still think it's good."

"You do...?" Sunohara was surprised.

"I do, despite how odd it seems."

"So...we're good?"

"It seems it." Sakura nods, and pointed forward towards the gate, "I'll head on home now. See you, Sunohara."

Friday, April 12, 2003.

Makoto,

I'm writing this to you regarding my move to Hikarizaka. Like what you had said; Sunohara Youhei is is the same one I knew from the past. He is the one who owns the pendant that I had... He is the one I gave a pendant to, and I have nothing much to say other than the fact that I'm surprised.

I hope to hear from you as soon as possible.
