hello my lovelies, as my notice that was previously up stated, I will only update stories that my muse for has returned, and to my amazement, my muse for Ryedense, the lovable time-bomb that she is, has returned. I have finished chapter 7 and am working on 8 as we speak. I have also decided that this story will in fact go through all three movies but not the little mini ones, I didn't like them enough. For this chapter Johns makes a wrong move and Ryedense must stop the aftermath, enjoy

As everyone moved to the next cabin Ryedense huffed at the actions of her father and Johns, the two were having a proverbial pissing match and it was amusing. Then again, the criminal and bounty hunter were always pushing at each other, chomping at the bit to see who messed up and was killed first. Ryedense eyed the broken hull while keeping aware of the creatures that flew in the air around them. As of the moment, all these things were doing was keeping an eye on the group. Ryedense heard Jack whimper at the calls of the creatures and pulled the girl hiding as a boy to her. This one, out of all the others, made her want to protect the kid. Maybe it was because Jack wasn't too different from herself, doing what needed to be done to survive, maybe it was something else. When one of creatures stormed out of the cabin with a shriek she ducked with Jack in tow, preventing her from being killed. Johns yelled at her father before whirling on her. "Why didn't you say anything!" Ryedense huffed as the demand and motioned to Jack. "Because I was keeping Jack calm, these things attracted to us more than for just our blood. So sorry if I was more concerned for my fellow teen than your druggy ass." Ryedense merely stared at Johns as he glowered at her, she wasn't intimidated by Johns at all. Johns noticed that she wasn't backing and bowing like she should and reached to his gun to find it gone and in his face, by an angry and furious Riddick.

"Ever reach for this gun to point at my daughter again and I will ghost your ass before you can blink." It may have been out of character for him, but Ryedense was his daughter and while he may not have been in her life until they crashed on this hellhole of a planet, he will not let this hype harm her. He had lost his beloved Siberia without ever knowing it, and he will not let the only thing he had left of her die. Johns stared down the barrel of his own gun as Riddick tried to stop himself from killing the man right then and there. Ryedense was surprised that her father was already this possessive of her until she remembered that her mother had once told her that Riddick was a possessive of what he perceived as his and family was diffeny s since he married her mother, and later on she was born. It was an odd feeling, knowing that someone actually cared about her. Seeing that her father was about to kill Johns she stepped forward. ''Father, don't kill him where there are witnesses." Riddick glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. She had a point, but Johns had been aiming to kill his child, every instinct in his body screamed for retribution, to protect what was left of his pack. Ryedense gently placed a hand on her father's arm, not grasping it, but just letting him feel the weight of her hand. Riddick eased the gun away from the merc's face. Ryedense mentally sighed as he backed away after handing her the shotgun, she honestly didn't think that would work.
