Sorry for the update delay. Here it is, all beautiful and sparkling! Have fun reading okay?

Sumo took a deep breath as he stared at Clarence's front door. He really didn't want to be here. Mainly because of who was already inside.

It was Clarence's idea. He suggested that he, Jeff, Belson and Sumo stay at his house while his parents were gone at a concert. Clarence thought that this would be a good way to spend their time. Honestly Sumo was kind of surprised that everyone was showing up.

Sumo opened the door and walked inside knowing well what would happen tonight. Total disaster.

Clarence was sitting on the couch telling Belson a story about what he did this morning. But Sumo's trained eye immediately found Jeff, and it stayed focused on him. The brunet was sitting on the floor beside the couch hunched over something. It looked like a notebook. Probably some form of homework assignment given the fact that Jeff could never have fun at any party. Sumo forced himself to look away and found himself in front of Clarence.

"Hey buddy, glad you could make it!"

He sounded so cheerful, which made Sumo angry. How could he be so happy? Sumo was being unfair of course. Clarence didn't know that he wasn't feeling social today. It wasn't Clarence's fault Jeff didn't return his feelings. He definitely shouldn't be a jerk right now. That would just burn another bridge, and he was running low on them.

"Yeah, I just had to help my mom with the TV first." Sumo explained. In reality he was stalling. He still hadn't made up his mind about going and his mother was a good outlet.

"Alright, the gang's all here. So, what do you guys want to do?" Clarence announced.

Sumo took a look around the room. Belson was still sitting on the couch. His face was still in that angry frown it had probably been in since birth. He looked pretty angry. It looked like he was forced to come here by Clarence. Which he probably was. His eyes found Jeff again. He was looking at Clarence, since he was still talking about their options this evening.

"We could stay and play video games, make something to eat from one of Jeff's weird recipes, sit and talk about our feelings," After that option Clarence laughed. "Or we could go see a movie. My mom left me some cash."

Everyone looked very uninterested. Sumo included.

Jeff raised his hand, like the good little student he was. "Why don't we see a movie? I saw a preview about that new stop-motion one and it looked pretty good."

"Stop motion is for chumps." Belson said under his breath, earning a glare from Sumo.

"Okay sure, let's do that! I was in the movie mood anyway." Clarence said.

They all filed into Belson's car, the one his mother bought him for his sixteenth birthday. It was a pretty reliable Honda. Clarence sat in the passenger seat while Sumo and Jeff sat in the back seat. Rather far apart, Sumo reluctantly noticed. God, he just wanted out of the car. He wanted to run home and pretend Jeff hadn't seen how miserable he was. Jeff seemed almost normal. He looked unaffected by everything that was making Sumo so uncomfortable.

Jeff looked over at Sumo while he was leaning against the door. It was quiet in the car, despite Clarence's conversation with Belson. They were talking about the levels in a video game they played together that one time Jeff didn't care about. Jeff stole yet another glance of the tanned boy. He noticed how agitated Sumo looked. No duh, he was stuck in a car with Jeff. Everything was so messed up between them and he hated it.

Jeff took a deep breath, making sure to keep it quiet. He breathed in Sumo's cologne. It was the stuff he always wore, and Jeff was ashamed that he took comfort in it. The very idea that he wanted Sumo near him but he kept pushing him away angered him. He couldn't have it both ways. It would only end badly. Jeff sighed. He really had to stop doing this to Sumo. It wasn't fair to him. Although he thought that Jeff smelled the cologne the entire way to the movie theater.

It didn't take long for the guys to arrive at their destination. The movie theater was packed because it was a Saturday. Jeff looked at the times. They had arrived just at the right time for the stop-motion movie. He loved being on-time.

"Alright guys, I got the tickets and the popcorn. Let's head in." Clarence smiled at all of them and he moved into the hallway where the movie was being held.

It would be an hour and thirty minutes before Sumo could go home. Even longer if he counted how long it would take to get home. Being surrounded by people was not what he wanted to do with his Saturday. He should have just chickened out and said he was busy. He wouldn't be here forcing himself not to look at Jeff. That's right, in the middle of the theater the two of them were sitting beside each other. Clarence and Belson were just beside him on his other side. They were too far away to notice the tension between the two of them though. God, Sumo was going to get his sweet revenge for this torture.

The lights dimmed in the theater and the screen started to play the movie. It was just his luck to be sitting here…with Jeff…and not able to do anything.

Jeff looked over multiple times. He really wanted to start up a conversation but couldn't. One because he was in a movie theater, two because he was sure Sumo didn't want to talk to him. This was a really bad idea. Jeff should have said he couldn't make it. He should have lied and said he had a project due. Why did he think that Sumo would have been okay with seeing him?

Jeff lifted his hands to his head and tried to calm his mind. He focuses his eyes on the screen and tried to lose himself in the movie. Every time he got even a centimeter close to getting lost in the storyline Sumo's scent, his boyish cologne, brought him right back. It was everywhere. Before Jeff knew it his eyes were stinging. He was crying? Crap. Not in front of Sumo. Not right now. He couldn't cover it up without looking suspicious either. He needed to get out of there quick. Jeff lifted his hand up to his face and leaned over to Sumo.

"I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be back." Jeff said this in a voice a little too high. It probably gave away his position.

"Yeah…" Sumo said. He raised an eyebrow but then turned back to the screen. He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms on his chest. Clarence leaned over and asked where Jeff went. Once Sumo told him he moved back over and started messing with Belson. Sumo didn't even want to know what they were doing.

"Clarence don't, I'm trying to watch." Belson whispered.

"Just one time, you said you would." Clarence smiled evilly.

"Later, people are here." Belson jabbed him in the side with his elbow.

Without warning Sumo jumped from his seat and headed straight for the door of the theater. He was done being in there. Belson was not his favorite person right now and Clarence was just being…Clarence. He kind of hated the blond for being so friendly. It was really pissing him off, how much he liked Belson. How could he not realize that he was a bully? He picked on Jeff for like years. Not to mention his lack of respect for anyone he's ever met. Clarence included. Sumo walked into the bathroom before he realized what he was doing. He was walking right into Jeff.

"Ouch!" Jeff said, holding his nose because he hit it off of Sumo's shoulder.

"O-oh sorry…" Sumo said as he grabbed Jeff's shoulders and tried to look at the brunet's now red nose. "You okay?"

"Yeah, my nose is fine…" Jeff said blushing a bit because of how close they were.

"No, I didn't just mean your nose."

Jeff looked into Sumo's eyes but quickly turned away, thinking he didn't deserve the decency of eye-contact. "I'm good, pretty good." Jeff lied to save face.

Sumo could sense the lie immediately. He decided not to question it though. Honestly he would have lied too.

"So why did you come in here?"

"I'm pretty sure Clarence just talked Belson into making out with him later," Sumo turned green just thinking about it.

"What? No, no that cannot happen. That would be so…gross." Jeff said as he shivered.

"I know right?" Sumo added.

"We better get back then. Seriously," Jeff said and pushed past Sumo. Sumo followed in toe. He was at least happy they patched something up a little bit via their dislike of Clarence doing…things…with Belson.

Sumo got home in a better mood than when he left. He was still kind of mopey but he got over it quickly when he remembered how nice it was to talk to Jeff. He felt a twinge in his stomach but tried his best to ignore it. He really couldn't handle having another melt down over his unrequited feelings.

Jeff rolled over in his bed and sighed. He could maybe face Sumo at school tomorrow. Maybe. They could talk about school, or Jeff could talk about school and Sumo could talk about his detentions. Or maybe that wouldn't be the best of topics considering it just took a detention to make Jeff kiss him last time.

Well, I'm leaving again. Please review me okay? I want to answer any of your questions and see your comments. Love you guys!
