Shizuma's body tremble slightly from the cold room air. Nagisa had gotten out of bed to use the bathroom and left her side open for the invading chill. "Nagisa...come back to bed."

Shizuma rolled over on her side and pulled the comforter out of her face. "I'm coming." Nagisa rolled her eyes and climbed over her lover, covering herself quickly in the warmth.

"So what would you like to do today Love?" The silver haired girl stroked the side of Nagisa's face and kissed her hand affectionately.

"Let's start with breakfast." As if to coax the older girl more, the flame haired girl's stomach complained about lack of food. Shizuma giggled at her flushed lover and kissed her swiftly.

"Of course Love." She rolled out of bed and trotted to the shower. Nagisa stretched underneath the warm blankets and sighed happily. Shizuma's naked body was that of a siren. It was the thing of dreams, and her carnal desires only made her that much more attractive. Of course anyone would think their girlfriend or fiancé had the perfect body, but Shizuma was different. Men lined up to ask for her hand, and the women that caught word of her preference were far behind them. She was as close to being the god of beauty as any mortal could be, and she even had a mischievous personality that drove Nagisa crazy with lust and longing. Everything about the girl was breathtaking.

It wasn't long before her silver haired goddess was dressed and ready to go to breakfast. "Seeing as how it's still a bit early, you'll have the pick of the kitchen." Shizuma chuckled at the bright gleam that sprung from Nagisa's eyes.

"I'm so excited!" The fiery little red head could barely contain herself as they stepped into the empty elevator. Shizuma chuckled at her enthusiasm for food, but it was one of the adorable features she loved about the little spit-fire.

The elevator slowed to a stop, and the doors couldn't open fast enough. Nagisa shot out at lightning speed, colliding instantly with a large mass just passed the doorway. She fell onto her back in a daze. Shizuma grunted in annoyance, but helped the girl to her feet. She looked to the large man in front of her, only to groan even louder.

Mr. Hanazono stopped speaking to a client when he felt something ram into his back. Turning to see Shizuma trying to step off the elevator, he looked down in irritation at the smaller girl before him.

"Shizuma, I see you are up early." Shizuma only nods, not wanting to cause a scene in front of her father's client.

"I'm really sorry sir!" Nagisa scrambles to find a way to diffuse the situation, but Shizuma only huddles her away to an adjoining room. "It had to be him, didn't it?" Nagisa sighed in frustration. Shizuma's father already disliked her because she wasn't of noble blood and cause uproar with Shizuma at Astrea. She didn't need to hand him the ammo for the kill shot. Stealing a glance at the flash of silver hair, Shizuma was elegantly moving across the room to save a table for the two of them.

Nagisa finished up in the food line, scurrying over to join her lover with haste. She sat down heavily, but regretted it instantly, knowing Shizuma was watching. "Nagisa…"

"I know, don't say it. I don't have any reasons to try to impress your father, and my clumsiness is one of my cuter qualities. You tell me all the time. But that doesn't help settle my anxiety." Shizuma stifled her laughter behind a neatly placed hand. She tried not to show that she thought Nagisa was adorable when she was irritated, but there seemed to be no way to avoid it. "Shizuma…" The red head sighed once more. "I forgot my juice, I'll be back." Before she could move, Shizuma stood swiftly with a grin, gliding across the room to the drink bar. "How did I get such a wonderful girl? She's absolutely per…" Bile rose in her throat almost instantly with the glimpse of the dark brown hair bobbing its way over to the drink bar playfully.

"Good morning." Asumi bounced up next to Shizuma with an energetic aura about her.

"Good morning." Shizuma bit her tongue to keep from saying a few choice words, and it was good she had.

"Hello Dear." Mr. Hanazono sauntered up next to them with a blank face. His expressionless stares were infamous to the Hanazono name.

"Good morning Father." Shizuma cut it short, trying to find her way back to Nagisa without interaction.

"Would you like to join us for breakfast? We're meeting with the Nakimori representatives. I know you helped close the deal, so it would be appropriate for you to be there." His invitation was more of a subtle demand, but Shizuma could still play dumb to his advances.

"I'm sorry. I promised Nagisa we would finish breakfast early and head down to the beach. No work for this trip." She turned quickly before he could protest. She noticed her love staring intently in her direction, knowing exactly what was wrong.

"Nice chat?" Though seemingly harmless, the question was laced with poison.

"Calm down Love. She only said good morning. My father wanted me to join them for breakfast with clients, but I told him I was with you on this trip. No work." She smiled genuinely at the younger girl, setting her mind at ease for the moment.

"So what are we doing today?" Nagisa glanced out the window to look at the beautiful landscape.

"I was thinking of taking you to the beach to start out. How's that sound?" Shizuma watched at sparks flew from her lover's eyes in excitement.

"That sounds great! And thank you for choosing to stay with me. I know these meetings are really important for your company." Nagisa took pride in being chosen over the elder girl who strived so hard for her fiance's attention. She giggled happily when she received a pat on the head from her older companion.

"I would never choose anything but." They talked for a little while longer, trying to take their time with breakfast since it was still so early. They had barely made it halfway through their plates when Shizuma noticed a growl emanating from deep within Nagisa's throat. Her eyes narrowed to slits and she placed her silverware on the table carefully.

"I'm not hungry anymore." Shizuma looked on in shock as the sentence sunk in. Something was very wrong. Turning nonchalantly to look in the direction of Nagisa's stares, she spotted a group of four making their way over to them. Leading the group was Asumi and her father.

"Give me a break." She slouched back into her chair, wishing she had chosen a different vacation resort to visit.

"Hello Shizuma, its been quite some time hasn't it?" Aku Nakimori greeted her delightfully, as did his brother Haruko. They had taken the lead on the Hanazono relations for the Nakimori group. Aku was the oldest in the line of heirs, and had also been Shizuma's first engagement.

She didn't bother to reply. Anything she did at this point was going to anger someone in the five people that surrounded her, so she chose not to anger the one person she really cared whether or not she was uncomfortable or not.

"Shizuma, stop slumping. You're a noble if you don't remember correctly. Have some pride in your appearance." Mr. Hanazono took his seat at the table next to the two girls, gesturing for the other three to do the same.

A barely audible sigh escaped from Shizuma's lips. She just wanted some quality time with Nagisa. "So Nagisa, are you almost finished?" She sat up to look at her companion, who in fact hadn't touched her food since the group of four started in their direction.

"Oh, what are you doing today?" Asumi rested her hands on her chin inquisitively.

Nagisa's eyes caught fire with the question. She stood swiftly, not caring who was watching or around anymore. "We are having a day to ourselves, Asumi-free. That means you don't come near Shizuma or myself, you don't try to talk to us, you don't follow us, mingle with us, or any other action you could think of. You leave us alone and let us enjoy our vacation. Period, end of story. I won't let you ruin this weekend for us. Goodbye Asumi, good day Mr. Hanazono." She grabbed a shocked silver head by the hand and dragged her out of her seat. Not easing up until they were out the front floors of the hotel, Nagisa clearly had steam rolling out of her ears from rage.

"Nagisa! Can we slow down now?!" Shizuma felt her hand going numb from lack of blood circulation.

"Oh! Sorry…" Nagisa paused and released the girl's hand, realizing how tight she had held on.

"Don't worry though, it needed to be said. I'm proud you did." A light kiss on the cheek turned the younger girl's mood from anger to excitement in an instant. "Let's go have some fun, shall we?"

They found their way to the beach after going back to their room to change clothes. Since it was mainly a business hotel, not many people were on the beach. The girls seemed to relax and have a good time for the first time since they arrived. "Shizuma, did you see that? I saw a whale out there!" Nagisa jumped up and down in place on the urning hot sand. She was so happy to be here with Shizuma, but she wished she could get rid of a few bugs that were annoying her.

"Ah yes, this is quite a good spot for whale watching." Nagisa clenched her fists tightly as she turned to look Asumi dead in the eyes.

"I thought I told you to leave us alone." Her teeth gritted together from the restraint she held tightly to, trying not to attack the girl in front of her.

"Well, this is a public beach Dear. I have every right to be here, just like you." A wickedly brilliant smile stretched across her face in triumph. But very quickly, she clutched her cheek in agony and shock.

Nagisa looked to her trembling hand that had moved on its own, contacting with the girl's face before she had even registered it. "Nagisa!" Shizuma ran to her side and cradled her close. "Calm down My Love. Please, there is no need for violence." The fire burning deep within her finally snapped and she shoved the older girl away from her.

"Why?! Because it isn't a noble thing to do?! Well guess what! I'm not a noble Shizuma! I never will be! Even if I marry into your family, I will never be a noble. And who's to say I even want to be." She stormed off in a huff, leaving a petrified Shizuma collapsed on the beach.

"Guess the engagement is off then?" Asumi giggled in delight at the events that had just unfolded.

"Like hell it is." Shizuma stood gracefully, turning to burn holes in Asumi's composure. "If you come near her again, I won't hesitate to drop the noble act for a lapse in momentary judgement. I will haul off and hit you. Don't think I won't just because my father likes you." Asumi stepped back unconsciously from the enraged girl. She didn't want in arms length of her for the time being.

The brunette watched wishfully as the enchantress stalked off the beach in search of the red head. The battle had been won for the day, but the war was far from over.
