The girl woke up to a killer kink in her neck. She groaned in pain, sitting up and messaging the aching wound. Looking around she had realized that she was in…her room? Didn't she fall asleep on the sofa?

Flipping the comforter off, she tugged at her ran-up shorts as she reached for her phone on her mantle.

'Seven unread messages?' She questioned. Her hair was a mess and her t-shirt and jean shorts where a mess, lopsided and the belt half-way undone. She scratched her head, the Yamanaka Ino that everyone knew was officially a mess.

"I'll deal with it later…" She grumbled, grabbing her brush and fixing her ponytail, which was half-done. She instead, decided to French braid it, her bang still covering her right eye. As she brushed her teeth and put her eyeliner on, she decided to go with a slightly tinted light pink lip gloss.

She put on a blue and white plaid shirt with khaki shorts, putting on tan sandals. She smiled into her reflection. She was actually supposed to meet Sasuke at his father's work place, but it was seriously hot out and there was no way she was wearing anything business like, she would die.

The blonde locked her door from behind, and as soon as she turned she ran straight into a tall figure. Nose first.

"Owwww~!" She whined, grabbing her nose.

"Perhaps you should watch where you're going." She looked up at the blue tinted man, who had a shark-line smirk on his face.

"Psht, perhaps you should back up when you see someone exits a door." The beauty hissed, and a scowl filled her features.

"So," He bent over, an eyebrow raised and a finger to his chin. "Who are you trying to impress?" At this the girl flustered, turning her head quickly.

"No one," She justified, and the blue man smirked again.

"Try to lie to me all you want," He patted her on the head and fixed his…sword? "But you can't hide the look." The girl covered her face with the back of her hand clumsily. As he went down the stairs, she had grabbed a book from an end table in the corner of the hall and went to chase him down.

"I'm not hiding anything, you moron!" She defended, sliding down the banister. As her arm rose to locate the projectile, she turned to see Kisame lounging on the sofa, noticing that the rest of the group was there as well.

Hiding the book awkwardly behind her back, she gave an awkward wave to the people.

"Blondie finally woke the fuck up, huh?" The silver haired sadist asked a beer bottle in hand as he pointed to the girl.

"Dumbass, it's only 9 o' clock." The blonde looked with half-lidded eyes. He looked at his wrist watch, then at her, then at the watch again.

"Well shit." He blurted.

"Barbie, why did you fall asleep on the sofa?" Her brother asked with mild interest, his legs stretched out on the floor as he leaned on the sofa.

"I don't know, what's it matter?" She sighed, fixing her bang.

"Haha I'm surprised you didn't come down complaining about kinks." He chuckled and the girl shrugged, understanding his point.

"I'm going out back; it's there for a reason after all." She reminded the lazy group, all crowded around the TV.

The girl walked between the two staircases, which lead to the screen room. Finding the sliding door, the pool looked larger than from her window. She breathed in the new air, and smelled the expensive plants in the neighbors white-picket fenced yards.

"Ino-chan!" The voice called, and arms once again wrapped around her. The girl silently gulped, not this again. "Ino-chan looks pretty again today!" The voice seemed honest, and the girl smiled politely, the shiver submerged in her spine.

"Thank you, Tobi." She calmly states, and at this she noticed a movement of the muscles around her.

"Ino-chan…is used to Tobi?" The voice of the masked man caused her to blink. It was a perfectly calm, un-idiotic voice, and she felt him shift a bit. "Perhaps Ino-chan will like this more."

She the felt the arms grip around her stomach, and the girl gasped a bit as she was tugged into him. Inwardly, the girl shuddered. She bit the bottom of her lip, and looked out the bottom opposite corner of him.

"Does Ino-chan like this more?" The boy seemingly innocently questioned, though the girl was tempted to nod, she simply kept herself from shivering.

"Tobi…" The girl began, looking at the sparkling water.

"Yes?" He questions, almost like a child, bringing his chin to the nook of her neck again. The girl clasped her left hand.

"Why do you invade people's personal space?" She questioned, barely trusting her voice. She then felt a hand leave her waist and put the blonde locks that where covering her eye behind her ear. He then whispered into it.

"Not peoples, just Ino-chan!" This made the girl's breathe hitch, before shaking her head. 'He has the mind of a five-year-old…doesn't he?'

"Ino, Sasuke is here." The girl immediately broke the taller man's grip.

"Ah, thanks Sasori!" The blonde smiled, and the redhead waved meekly and lazily before turning around and heading back into the house.

Without giving the older boy a second thought, the mind-reader fixed her bang before bolting inside the house, leaving him standing there.

The heir walked to the entryway, to notice that she hadn't got to him first. The two Uchiha's where standing there, and it seemed as if Itachi was attempting to explain something to him. What confused her was that Naruto was there as well, peculiarly quiet. She waited patiently in the arc of the door, fiddling with a nearby plant for the time being.

"Ah, Ino." Itachi took notice, pausing a moment to look at the blonde. He then noticed Sasuke look a bit longer than he would normally care too, and frowned a bit.

"Sasuke, I thought that you we were supposed to meet at the office…? Naruto, what are you-"

"Did you not get the message?" The Uchiha asked, making the girl blink. Then face palm.

"Ah no, I totally forgot!"

"It's about Sakura." This caused the girl's eyebrows to furrow as Naruto's voice.

"What about her?"

"Her house got broken into. She's been…" The blonde trailed off, and the girl grabbed his collar.

"What? What happened?!" She snapped, and the boy almost broke out in tears.

"She's been shot Ino, only in the shoulder, but…"

"It was a warning shot." Itachi interrupted, and the blonde couldn't do anything but stand there in shock.

"They did it because of the chain. They followed me. They saw me with you, and they followed me…" The blonde gritted her teeth as she faced the ground, and the girl bit her lip.

"The police didn't want anything to do with it." Naruto said, seemingly angry. The blonde then scoffed.

"Of course they didn't. It's pretty much fucking mafia business!" The blonde hissed, curling her fist. "Basically, I'm on their fucking hit list!" This caused the three to look at the girl.

"Ino, I can assure you that-"

"That what? Fuck, can I even go to school?" She snapped, her stomach going insane.

"…" The man looked at the conflicted girl.

"…Where the hell is piercings?" She hissed quietly, and the Uchiha unconsciously flicked his eyes over at a door for less than half a second. The girl was immediately going up the stairs.

"Ino!" She heard Naruto's voice call, but ignored him.

She opened the double doors, which where unlocked, to see the orange haired man at a desk.

"Ah, Yamanaka." He blandly states, turning around.

"Don't 'Yamanaka' me." She hissed, walking up to his and slamming both fist on her desk, causing the man to only slightly lean back. "My friend got shot, and I have a reason to think that you know why." The orange haired male only sighed.

"I would have assumed that you wouldn't have done anything so foolish." This caused the blonde to scowl and dig her fingers in the corner of the desk.

"Excuse me?! I talked for like an hour, that's it!" The girl screeched, about ready to full out beat the man. "She had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with any of this!"

"That's what they look for." She turned to see the Uchiha, leaning against the arch of the door. "Innocent people are their forte. They are defenseless and off guard. Easy warnings." The girl felt a wave of nausea go over her.

"Who are these guys anyway?" She asked, and she noticed the two share a look. "These idiots shot my friend; they aren't going to get away with it!"

"I think that Hidan or Kisame are more suita-"

"Don't give me that crap!" She hissed. "I am not going to be the girl pleading to someone else for them to help me."

"Yamanaka, I understand that you are angry but-"

"Whatever, I'm leaving." She snapped, turning around.

"Don't do anything stupid, Yamanaka." The man stated sternly, and the girl in return flipped him off.

"Tell that to the girl that has a bullet hole in her shoulder." She scoffs, walking by the older Uchiha that was standing in the doorway.

The two watched the girl fly down the steps, and heard the calls of the other blonde teen.

They stood for a moment, silent in the room. The Uchiha than turned to the 'leader'.

"I warned you."
