Chapter 7: Lady Tremaine (Cinderella)
Lady Tremaine is more cunning then Jafar but her motives are questionable. She got lady status when she married her first husband, why would she marry Cinderella's father if she already had lady status, unless he had more money than her and wanted to kill him for it? She didn't even take his last name or any title she could have gotten by marrying him so that should make Cinderella the owner of the house and everything that was in it before those three showed up, assuming her father left her everything in the will, which he probably did as he had only married Lady Tremaine to provide his child with a mother and sisters. I say Cinderella's father probably didn't leave his wife anything because his wife didn't kill Cinderella after her second husband died, as she would have been useless to her stepmother if he did leave the stepmother anything at all. It is already implied that Lady Tremaine does not like anyone and will only use and manipulate people in order to get what she wants. Since this seems to be true, would anybody put it past her to kill when a person isn't useful anymore? She has to be keeping her stepchild alive for a reason and housecleaning is probably not it, as she can just hire people to do that work due to being wealthy. No, the only reason I can see for Lady Tremaine keeping her stepchild alive, is the will of the ladies last husband giving everything to his child.
Lady Tremaine is cunning in how she treats all her children, stepchild included. She manipulates the stepchild to do the house chores via, using the "I am your mother and you will do as I say card". She pretends to love her own blood children in order to get them to love her enough to do whatever she wants them to do. She wants them to marry above their status but when she finally gets what she wants via fairy god mother magic, she shows her true colors on how she actually feels about her own child by physically abusing her. She doesn't want Cinderella to marry the prince because of the will, If the person who owns the house, land and money her last husband had, then that means the house will legally belong to the royal family and not Lady Tramaine herself. Remember, Lady Tramaine wants it all and will step on anybody to get it.
Now on to the sisters, the girls only true crime acting like spoiled brats. That might or might not be Lady Tramaine's fault as she was using them to and hurting them whatever they didn't do what she wanted them to do and yelled at them for not getting things right. No, that might be Cinderella's fault as she let them run all over her and provided them with anything they wanted. She could have decided to not come to their every beck and call and just went off with the cleaning and cooking that she had to do for the day and had time to make her own dress for the ball with nothing that belonged to the sisters with how much time she would have been saving by not spoiling them. If their step sister was smart, she would realize that yeah, this house is hers and she has options outside of marrying a prince. It is like the smartest human in the house is Lady Tremaine.
We will talk about Atlantis next time; to be honest I will have to watch the movie again and do research to see if I can remember anything about the villain or the princess because I forgot to talk about her in the other fan fiction about Disney princesses. I really don't remember this movie. . .
