AN: I am so so so sorry about the year long hiatus on this story. My muse escaped, a two year relationship ended, I started a new relationship, moved halfway across the US and got engaged again. Needless to say its been crazy. No promises about regular updates but I will promise to at least do one monthly. Thank you to those who have held onto hope that I would post again!

Love always

Hermione groaned as the sun hit her face. Whatever time it was it was too early to leave the delightful warmth of the unusually soft bed she was in. Rolling over she buried her face in the shoulder of the man she was sleeping with, who it was she didn't know but she couldn't really be bothered to find out.

Remus grinned as he felt Hermione burrow into him. This was definitely a good thing to get used to and he could definitely see himself getting used to it. As he was thinking this he heard a more masculine groan and felt an arm land on his stomach. "While I love a good lie-in as much as the next person I would like to get up so we can get to the ministry." He said to the two half-asleep groaners.

"But I'm comfy." Hermione mumbled, snuggling deeper into the two of them.

"I agree with her." Sirius groaned snuggling into her back. "The ministry can wait, I don't wanna get up." He said wrapping himself more tightly around Hermione and Remus.

Remus looked over at the two of them and chuckled before snuggling deeper into the pile, reaching over Hermione to pull Sirius closer. "I'm obviously outnumbered so I won't make pancakes for breakfast." He said with a chuckle.

Hermione kissed his shoulder before smiling sleepily up at him. "I'll go make breakfast for us in a bit. Let me just enjoy this piece of heaven for a few moments."

Sirius chuckled and pulled on Hermione's shoulder so she was lying flat between him and Remus. "No heaven would be if we had woken up naked and sore from a good night together. This is just paradise on earth in my opinion." He said planting a kiss on her lips.

"Hmm I have to agree with Sirius, waking up naked with the two of you would be heavenly, however I wouldn't trade this for anything." Remus said with a smile as he leaned in to kiss Hermione then Sirius good morning.

Hermione shook her head at the two of them trying to suppress a chuckle. "What is it with boys and their obsession with sex? I mean really now!" She said in what was supposed to be a reprimanding tone.

Remus leaned up far enough to share a look with Sirius. Once he was sure the other marauder was on the same page he pounced on Hermione and started tickling her mercilessly. "Us boy and sex? Oh really now!" He laughed.

"Yeah wasn't it you asking how everything would fit last night?" Sirius exclaimed as he made a beeline for her feet.

Hermione could only shriek and thrash about on the bed in response. "You win! Great Merlin you win!" She finally managed to gasp out.

Sirius laughed and rested his head on her thighs looking up at her. Unable to form a sentence to describe how he felt he just smiled at her.

Remus lay back into the pillows so Hermione's head was on his chest and smiled down at Sirius. "I know how you feel Pads." he said quietly before he kissed the top of Hermione's head.

Hermione looked up at Remus curiously before looking down at Sirius. Pausing she smiled softly. "I know we want to take this slow, and I do intend to at least get through my first year of teaching before I start planning a wedding, but I can tell right now that this is where I want to be every morning for the rest of my life." She said so softly it was almost a whisper as she nuzzled her face into the downy hair on Remus's chest.

Sirius reached a hand up and brushed his fingers through the curls that were tumbling over her shoulder. "That's nearly exactly how I feel, I just couldn't think of the words to describe it."

Remus nodded as he reached a hand down to card through Sirius's hair, completing their circle. "I have to agree. This just feels right."

Hermione tipped her head back to place a gentle kiss on Remus's lips before leaning down to do the same with Sirius. "I'm glad we are all on the same page. Now how about you two let me up and I'll go make breakfast so we can turn that page into the ministry?"

Sirius pouted like he was going to protest but any argument he could come up with was shut down by a very loud grumble from his stomach.

Remus chuckled. "I think that sounds like a plan. Would you like help in the kitchen love?"

"That would be brilliant, thank you dear." Hermione said as she slid out from under Sirius.

"Well then I guess I'll take my shower while you two love birds are in the kitchen." Sirius said smiling.

"Sounds like we have a plan then. Waffles and eggs sound good?" Hermione asked as she pulled Sirius's t-shirt from the day before over her curls.

"Sounds brilliant!" Sirius said as his stomach let out another grumble.

"And maybe some sausage by the sound of that." Remus said chuckling as he pulled on his shorts before kissing Sirius and making for the door, Hermione right behind him.

Once Sirius was sure they were gone he rolled over and grabbed parchment and a quill from the bedside table and quickly penned a note to McGonagall asking about a special housing arrangement for the three of them. Sending it off with Artemis he smiled as he made his way into the bathroom to shower for the day.

Meanwhile in the kitchen Hermione was mixing the batter for waffles while Remus beat the eggs and regaled her with stories of Sirius's horrible attempts at cooking anything that wasn't desert.

"You have got to be joking!" She gasped, nearly dropping the bowl that she was getting ready to pour into the waffle maker. "How did he manage to get mashed potatoes three rooms over?"

Remus shook his head laughing. "They weren't mashed until they hit the wall in the sitting room. He used the wrong spell to peel them and the shot off through the house, narrowly missing Harry in the process." He explained through bouts of laughter.

"Did you have to tell her that story Moony?" Sirius whined from the doorway. "It was my first time cooking since I got out of Azkaban and I was a bit rusty!"

"A bit rusty love? You got the potatoes up the stairs and through two rooms before they found a stopping place!" Hermione said with a giggle.

"As I said a bit rusty! At least they didn't wind up on the roof this time!" Sirius exclaimed indignantly.

At this point Remus lost what little control he had and doubled over laughing. "I had forgotten about that! Did you ever figure out how you did that?"

Sirius flopped into his chair at the table, sulking playfully. "Not a damned clue. Though it still makes me never want to cook again when I think about it."

Hermione smiled and kissed Sirius on top of the head as she set the waffles and sausages on the table. "It's alright love, you have me and Remus here to take care of you now so you never have to cook again." She said sitting to his left.

Remus smiled at the domestic image in his mind. "I do believe I could be agreeable to that plan myself." He said as he set the eggs next to the rest of the breakfast and summoned the orange juice to the table.

Sirius smiled. "You two can cook, I'll do dishes and keep us stocked on desert. Does that sound fair?" He asked, putting on his best puppy dog look for Hermione's benefit.

"I'll do the dishes when you bake but yes it sounds perfect." Hermione said as she served each of them a waffle before taking one for herself and drowning it in syrup. "Now lets eat before it gets cold so we can get to the Ministry and set things in motion yeah?"

"Agreed!" Remus said as he drizzled a touch of syrup on his own waffle before taking a bite.
