A/N: Hello my Lovelies! I don't know what to refer you guys as other than my readers, 'fans', so to speak. Honestly, I never thought I would get a single follower, and getting reviews and follows and favorites really gives me the hope that people read my writing. And they enjoy it. I never usually show people my writing, and I've been writing since I was 11. And now I'm giving what seems like a part of my soul for you to read. I don't tell people that I write FanFiction, it's more of a thing only my family and a few of my friends know that I do, so it really does matter that I have people reading this. Sorry for all of my rambling, here's the next chapter!

One more thing: I changed Cassie's age to 15, so she would be at the high school with the others. And another note, I just realized that I forgot to add the part where Bella almost died in the hands of James and the others. I honestly don't want to go back and edit everything, so it happened and all the vampire and werewolf drama will be added in future chapters. And Cassie does not know they are vampires yet, and I will figure out how to introduce the fact in a few chapters.

Cassie POV

This is the moment. The moment my life really begins.

And I'm terrified.

Very, very terrified.

"Are you okay?" Carlisle asked, resting a cool hand on my shoulder.

"What?" I hadn't really taken in a word of what anyone had said all morning, when I got up, well, more like startled by an excited Alice at 6. Am. Morning. Before the sun was up in the sky.

Carlisle smiled, giving me a small smile and a chuckle. "It's just school, don't worry."

I smiled tentatively, trying to at least act like I wasn't absolutely terrified. Yeah, just school. No big deal, no matter. It's fine, yup.

Just throwing myself to the wolves, so to say.

Alice smiled, taking my hand. "I promise, everything will be fine. Come on, let's go get you ready." She seemed uncharacteristically calm and collected. "I'm going to help you make a great first impression on your first day."

I laid back on my bed, trying to pull the sheets back over my head.

"Not so fast! Come on, get dressed. I picked out everything and they're in the closet."

Groaning, I rolled onto the floor, pushing myself up and walking into my closet and pulling the doors shut.

As I undressed, my eyes traveled up and down my marked skin. Scars drew patterns on my body, being the cause of me pulling down my sleeves and wearing jackets all the time. Turning away from the mirror, I quickly pulled on what Alice had chosen for me.

The black and white patterned leggings gripped my legs, showing shape that I usually covered up. A long black sweater went over my head, a large daisy on the front. But my favorite thing is the shoes. Black boots, more my style.

"You look so pretty! Sit, let me do your hair." Alice said, reaching out her hand. I walked over to the desk, sitting down. Touching still wasn't my favorite thing.

Not long later, my long black hair rest flat against my back. My hair is usually rough, textured and wavy. Unmanageable and tangled, constantly. But now, it was smooth and sleek. "Thank you Alice, it looks great." I said, running my fingers through it.

Rebel gently wagged his tail, licking my other hand. I scratched behind his ears, gazing at myself in the mirror. How obvious is my sheer feel of panic?

"Don't be scared, it's just high school. Everything will be fine. Now come on, we don't want to be late on your first day!" She chirped, leading me out the door and into her yellow Porsche.

Every car the Cullens owned, was fast. Or big, like Emmetts huge jeep. Either way, riding in a car with any of them is terrifying. But it gets us places quick.

"Do you have everything?" Alice asked, turning the car off.

"I think so, give me a moment." I slowly opened my bag, taking my time, checking to make sure everything was correctly color coded and labeled accordingly.

"Cass, you don't need to count your pencils."

"I do, because what if I lose one in each class?"

She sighed, rolling her eyes. "Well you sure didn't have to unfold, examine and refold your gym clothes."

"I wanted to be sure they didn't have any stains."

"They're brand new."

"You never know." I mumbled, shrugging.

"Come on, I'll show you around. Each of us have a class near yours, so we'll be waiting outside the door when the bell rings."

I sighed, getting out of the car quietly and closing the door loudly. The parking lot was full of students, milling around and talking, loudly. This school, town even, was much, much smaller than what I was used to.

In the house, it's almost painfully quiet. There's no car noises on the street or the constant shouting from people around me. There seemed to be more people in my old school than in this whole town. It's obviously not true and a bit extreme, but coming from a capital city with thousands of people to just over three thousand is a huge change.

As Alice and I walked through the parking lot, eyes went right to us, burning holes in my skin. I felt like some creature in the zoo, or an experiment in a petri dish. I felt just as small, for sure.

We walked through the doors and right to the office. "Hi Mrs. Winston, this is Cassandra Cullen, the new student." Alice said politely.

The woman smiled, offering a hand out. "Hi, Cassandra, I'm Mrs. Winston. Welcome to Forks High." I cautiously shook her hand after staring at it for a few seconds.

"Here's your schedule, and get it signed by each of your teachers in class." I offered a small smile, taking my schedule, clenching my shaking hand behind my back. "Thank you."

"Have a nice day, and come to the office anytime you have a question." She said, then went back to her work. Alice smiled, opening the office door, "Come on, I'll bring you to your locker. It's right down the hall from mine."

So far, I've had six people blankly stare at me, two glance and look away when they realized I was watching them, four groups of girls look at me and start whispering, and only one person actually had the guts to pause and say hello. Though when they saw the company I keep, by that I mean the Cullens, he just blinked a few times and kept walking.

"Everyone is so friendly here." I mumbled to myself, steadying my shaking hand in my pocket.

"It's okay, we just don't get that many new kids very often." Alice said, stopping at my locker. "Here it is." She said, stopping in front of a locker. "Your combo is, 24-07-12"

I repeated this in my head a few times, trying to drill it in my memory. My locker opened without a hassle, and I carefully slid my books into the top compartment. My hands still shook, but I busied myself by running my hands through my hair a few times.

"Take a deep breath, and if you need a break, just ask the teacher to go to the bathroom. Okay?"

I nodded, grabbing my stuff for my first three classes- Intermediate Algebra, Government and Art. Art should be fun, I guess. I hope.

Alice walked me to the door of my first class, giving me a hopeful look before leading me in. I was the first one to class. But, we are ten minutes early.

"Hello Mr. Sanders." Alice greeted, smiling and hopping on her toes.

The teacher, a short old man with large bifocals and a bad comb over, turned around and smiled. "Alice! How good to see you. Is this Cassandra, my new student?" He said loudly, voice booming throughout the room.

"Yes, Mr. Sanders. Nice and early." Alice replied for me.

"Now, Cassandra, can you tell me, do you enjoy math?" He asked, folding his hands over to top of his gut.

I had no idea how to reply, so I think I just started at him. Pretty sure I had the most terrified look on my face. This is going to be a terrible class. I hate math, and I have never payed any attention. How do I tell my new math teacher that?

Mr. Sanders chuckled, tossing his head back. "Doesn't speak much, do you?" He teased. Finally, something I could answer. I shook my head, looking at my toes.

"That'll be no problem, I don't like being interrupted anyways. Just pay attention and everything will be fine."

Just pay attention they said. Everything will be fine, they said. All of my classes were going fine until gym happened. I changed in the bathrooms, away from prying eyes of my new classmates.

But gym is a whole new thing. Gym is, physical and loud. Way too much. And today, today we would be playing dodgeball.

Dodgeball.

Dodgeball is not safe. Dodgeball is dangerous. And since everyone wants to be my friend, I got picked first. I had managed not to talk to anyone at all for the duration of the school day so far. Next hour was lunch, and I almost made it. Almost.

As soon as the whistle was blown, I had to duck to avoid getting hit with a ball. That was basically my whole class, ducking and swerving. But just not getting hit.

"So how was your first day at school?" Emmett asked as I climbed up into his jeep next to him.

I shrugged, sighing. "Long. Terrifying." After Lunch I had English, and almost had a panic attack when the teacher asked me to introduce myself. After years of being told not to talk, I never learned how to properly interact.

"Hey, everyone's first day is bad, don't worry about it."

Don't worry about it, sure. Sure.

Why hello guys! School ends on Tuesday for me, so this summer this story will hopefully take off! I need some help from my fellow readers, please comment a couple OC's! I want her to have her own small group of friends to support her! So, I'll need a name, appearance, personality and a little back story. I already have made someone to be her best friend (A gay OC named Leo. I've had this chosen since I started initially started writing this story a couple years ago.) And I'm also contemplating a love interest? Not quite sure who it would be, because in the end it might just turn out to be a lame imprint story. But, if it did, who would you guys want to see imprint on my little Cassie? Hm?
