Now I know I promised a Diana x Leona one next (To those who message me that is) but this is a quick one shot to let people know chapter 1 rework is now posted on my tumblr and deviantart profile. Both under the name kingsmexy but I recomend using the deviantart one as Deviant actually has proper formatting!. Well onto the oneshot!
High on a cliff overlooking the ocean, you can find a blooming sakura. From there if you looked to the left you could see a distant village bustling with people going through their daily lives, but this time if you looked to the right you'd see two figures. One sat below the tree watching the other as it stared off towards the sea.
"Hey Irelia..." the one sitting under the tree called out to the woman. Even though there was no answer Riven continued. "It's been awhile... how are you?"
She stared up at Irelia again, but the silver haired woman continued looking out over the sea. "Well anyways, I just wanted to say thank you... you know for everything. Sticking by me through thick and thin, even that one time I dragged us off the cliff and we both ended up drenched and covered in seaweed. Man Yi was furious..." she chuckled to herself. "Or how about the time we were fixing up the old temple? I ended up breaking one of the support beams, but you took the blame. I swear they know it was me, but they let it slide. Oh! And all those practice fights we had! I lost every single one but that last one, and that was cause you let me win. Oh don't think I didn't see you move your blade at the last second!" she let out a sigh.
"Also how about the time we went out for those noodles you love, you know soba. But all the shops were closed. So we ended up just eating some junk in the house. But I knew you wanted those noodles, so the next day, while you were on patrol, I tried to make them. Almost burnt down the kitchen... Oh man were you furious!" she grinned. "I think that was the first time you actually expressed your emotions on your face..."
"That hiking trip where I got lost and you didn't rest until you found me, curled up in a ball, crying my eyes out. It wasn't so fun then, but it's still a good memory."
"Those were good times. Good times..." she faded off as her gaze dropped to the grass. She sat there as the day passed to dusk before looking up again. The marble statue was dyed orange, just like the sky.
"You know Irelia... I never got to say goodbye."
I know it was short. And sad. (Hopefully) This is kind of my way of saying I can write sad stories. So if you disagree about this being sad can you tell me why either in a pm or review? That would be most appreciated! Also it isn't really a pairing, at least there is no real evidence of such, but fill it in as you please
