A/N: Hey, guys! Sorry that it took so long to upload this chapter. I have had a crazy time with the school year coming to a close. However, I will be changing to a weekly upload schedule as opposed to the biweekly one which I started out on.
On a brighter note, this story passed 1,000 views! I am so stoked about this. Also, a shout-out to Gamelover41992 and VoyagersUnite for their support with this story. Also, in response to crazyman90, Screaver will NOT be using puppetry in this fic. Unless you guys really want him to, that is. Let me know, as I am always open to ideas. Screaver's abilities will eventually become more diverse as he learns jutsu with Michael's help, but he will get a very expanded library after the time-skip because of what I had in mind.
Screaver's Drive
I don't know how, but I ended up falling asleep. When I opened my eyes, I found an exasperated Nami standing over me. I blinked away my sleepiness before grinning widely at the beautiful redhead.
"Hey, Nami! What's with the long face?" I wondered, causing her to sweep her hand outwards towards the horizon. I narrowed my eyes and groaned. "Is that a pirate ship?" She nodded as I rose to my feet. "Welp, looks like we are going to be doing some fighting today after all." I cracked my neck and flexed my hands before sweeping my arm out. "After you, madam." Nami giggled at my antics before leading me to the beach.
When we arrived, we found that the pirates were already advancing up the hill with a shaking Usopp "guarding" the top. I smirked as I joined him, placing a calming hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, long-nose," I placated, catching the sniper's attention. "I have a new move that will be able to take care of these bozos." I made the Horse, Dog, Bird, Ox, and Snake hand signs, holding the last one. "Earth Style: Earth Dragon!" I shouted as an earthen serpentine figure erupted form the ground, flying towards the now-terrified pirates. It instantly demolished half of the pirates before I released the technique, panting from the amount of chakra I spent. Everyone that survived the technique were gaping at me in amazement.
"Wh-what are you?!" shrieked Usopp as a trickling sound was heard. I facepalmed at the coward before I heard rustling in the bushes before Luffy and Zoro leapt out with maniacal grins on their faces.
"Hey, Screaver!" shouted my captain, looking at the downed goons. "Looks like we can take it from here." I nodded tiredly, sitting down in a meditative pose. However, it seemed that my amazing jutsu had put the fear of God into the moonwalking hypnotist.
"One… two… Jango!" he cried before an earth-splitting roar resounded off of the stone walls. The now-hypnotized pirates charged towards our vantage point, causing Nami and Usopp to scream in terror. However, I wasn't worried.
ROOOOOOOAR!
After all, Luffy got hypnotized as well. Our captain proceeded to utterly destroy the oncoming army. Zoro's eyebrow was twitching, Nami was on her knees, I was meditating… and Usopp had fainted in a pile of his own urine. Some people just can't handle the awesomeness of the Straw Hat Pirates. Jango was having none of that, however. He quickly sent Luffy into a deep slumber, causing the figurehead he had just ripped off to crush him beneath it.
"Well, looks like it's just you and me, Screaver," grinned Zoro as he unsheathed his swords. I nodded as I stood up, my chakra levels replenished. I groaned though as two figures appeared at the ship's railing. I turned to Zoro.
"Whatever you do, don't let your guard down around those two," I warned as I began to slowly move through signs. "Those two may act like stupid cowards, but they are deadly assassins." The swordsman nodded as he adopted his Three-Sword Style stance before dashing off. I felt a hot glare on my back and I turned to find an annoyed Nami.
"Go wake Luffy up! We need him for this fight!" she commanded, making me roll my eyes before I began to walk down towards our slumbering captain. "You know what, I'll do it," she sighed in exasperation before running past me. My eyes widened as Jango lashed out with his chakram, attempting to cut Nami. I forced chakra out of my legs, launching myself forward. I screamed as blood flew in the air.
Top of the Hill (3rd Person POV)
Kuro grinned evilly at the injured boy that Jango had just slashed. He opened his mouth to yell at his former first mate, but that was when an oppressive aura settled over the hillside. Screaver's eyes began to spin, taking on a five-pronged star shape. Blood began to leak from the young man's eyes as he adopted an odd stance as green energy began to form around him.
"Prepare to die, filth," growled the pirate as he shot forward. His palms began to slam into Jango with accompanying bursts of blue energy. "2 Palms! 4 Palms! 8 Palms! 16 Palms! 32 Palms!" He drew back, yelling in obvious exertion. "Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!" Jango was launched back from the furious assault, blood gushing from his mouth and evident bruises and burns littering his body. Kuro growled at the display of strength before he made his presence known.
"What is this, you weaklings?!" he shouted in anger, causing his former crew to quake in fear. "I told you that we had to have the mission completed by now, but I find you being demolished by this… pirate filth! What is—" The rest of his words were choked off by the oppressive aura that was now aimed solely at him. The young boy's eyes bore into his as they changed shape once more, taking on a six-pronged starburst shape.
"You… you utter and complete bastard!" shouted Screaver as chakra began to visibly flare around him. His eyes began to bleed even more. "Burn in hell. Amaterasu." Black flames lunged from the demonic boy's eyes, lashing out at the petrified butler. He smirked before speeding past the flames, shooting for the boy. He raised his claws up high and clashed them with the boy's knife.
"You have been a pain in my side, boy," he sneered as Screaver struggled underneath his strength. "I will kill Ms. Kaya, and I will take over this island. And what do you have to say about it?" Screaver smirked as he locked eyes with the unfortunate soul.
"One word, Kuro," he said as his eyes began to spin once more, taking on a seven-pronged shape. "Tsukuyomi." Kuro choked back his fear before he suddenly went limp with a horrific scream. "Also…" Screaver continued, throwing the unconscious butler down to his former crew, who were quivering in fear at the demon who had destroyed their captain. "My name is Screaver Bartel, not BOY!" Screaver's dōjutsu deactivated as he fell to the ground. Zoro quickly caught him and locked eyes with him.
"Screaver, you sure are damn scary," the swordsman chuckled, getting a weaker one in response before his crewmate fainted. The green-haired pirate's smile disappeared, replaced by a frown. "You are so strong… what's your secret, Screaver? What truly drives you?"
Well, I just showed you guys the rest of Screaver's Hoshigan abilities. The Byakugan stage allows him to have near-perfect chakra control, hence the cloak, and also to gain enhanced vision, including X-ray vision and a view of someone else's chakra network. The Sharingan stage gives him enhanced reflexes and speed, but he can also access Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. Post-skip, he will gain access to all of the dojutsu abilities for each of his eyes. I haven't decided if I am going to combine the Tenseigan with the Byakugan yet, though. Let me know if you guys want to see that. Until next time!
