"Pick the cells? We might find something useful." Maddie offered.

J'Daargo nodded in agreement, and looked into each cell, only picking the locks of the ones with useful things like bonemeal and gold.

Soon, they entered another chamber, with more skeletons to be looted for bonemeal and gold.

"There'll be a fight soon up ahead, so get ready. Also, do you know of any fire spells?" Maddie whispered to J'Daargo.

"Yes, the most basic of fire spells, but a fire spell, nonetheless. Why?"

"You'll see when we get there. Note where the archers stand."

The massive cat man was baffled, but since the little smooth skin had proven to be correct in the past about similar matters, he braced himself for a fight.

Which did, in fact, occur, once they entered a natural cave of some sorts.

It was crawling with Imperials, but they made quick work of them.

Even Maddie got her hands dirty- she managed to kill off an Imperial when he was distracted by J'Daargo setting fire to the puddle of oil beneath the feet of a few archers.

Once all of them were dead, Maddie began looting their fallen corpses, grabbing all that she could carry.

J'Daargo helped, and was quite surprised when he saw her carry so much stuff.

"Khajiit is surprised. Ma'lin, are you sure you can carry so much?"

"Yeah, but not for way too long. I should be fine." She assured as she shouldered the weight of the gear. "Besides, you and Ralof are the ones doing most of the fighting. I might as well be the pack mule."

"Very well, but if you get too tired, tell this one."

"I'll try."

The Khajiit just shook his head, and moved forward.

"Follow me. I know where to pick up some extra gold." Maddie commanded, leading the Khajiit down a few passages.

She had played the game enough times to know how to gather as much gold as possible, and that extra gold would make things easier.

"When we get out of here, you must tell J'Daargo how you know all of this." The Khajiit whispered.

"Maybe, but professionals must keep their secrets, eh?"

Maddie was joking, of course.

Well, somewhat.

She could be considered a 'professional' when it comes to the Elder Scroll Series, and as for the secrets...

Well, it wasn't like she could really tell him the truth.

Not yet, at least.

"By the way, there'll be Frostbite Spiders up ahead. I'm pretty decent with a bow, so I'll try to back you guys up." She added, once they got closer to the nest of spiders.

She was fairly decent with a bow- she killed at least two before they knew what was going on.

Once it was clear, they looted the nest and went on their merry way.
