Howard and Heidi ran though the dark tunnels almost blind with the fear of the monster fueling them to go faster and faster. However, no matter how fast they ran the tunnels were like a labyrinth that didn't seem to end. The situation was not getting any better given that their only source of light was the flashlight from their phones. As Howard and Heidi were running they took a right turn only to be met by a dead end.
"Oh come on, how many dead ends are there in this stupid place?" asked Howard as he caught his breath.
"We're going to die here. I can't believe we're going to die." said Heidi
Just then the two Weinermans heard a chilling noise. The sounds of snarls and sharp claws hitting the stone floor and walls were getting closer to where they were. Heidi and Howard quickly got back to their feet and began running once more.
"Why couldn't this just be a simple vacation?!" screamed Howard as they ran and the werewolf's furry face came out from the shadows and its yellow eyes shun.
Randy had broken through the ceiling of the tunnel and began searching for the source of all the howling. He pulled out the silver dagger that Maleva had given him and began running towards the source of the inhuman noise.
"Why did it have to be werewolves? Why couldn't it have been were rabbits? If there was such a thing." asked Randy
Randy ran through the tunnels hoping to get lucky and run into whatever was inside with him if not the Weinerman siblings. Randy then got an idea and pulled out his phone, if he had a signal he could use the tracker app to find Howard or Heidi.
"Come on, come on, give me a signal. Yes, one bar should do it." said Randy as the single bar allowed Randy to better track his friends.
Just then the map showed that Howard and Heidi were almost half a mile away to the right. With this information, Randy set out at high speed towards his friend's location.
Back with Howard and Heidi, the siblings kept running with the snarling werewolf Elly biting at their backs. Just as the two siblings jumped and went around all the obstacle boxes and crates, Elly appeared before them forcing them to skid to a halt. Once they were stopped the Weinerman siblings could gaze upon the girls that not that long ago was a human like them.
Werewolf Elly had her shirt as well as her jeans were all torn up which allowed her fur to be easy to spot, and her claws to be frightfully noticeable. She snarled as she slowly stepped towards Howard and Heidi and in return they stepped back.
"Run?" asked Howard
"What do you think?" asked Heidi before she swung an old piece of wood at the werewolf blinding it for a moment.
Howard and Heidi started running once more hoping to get away from the angry Elly, who was snarling in rage.
Elly jumped forward and began running like a four legged creature towards the siblings. The werewolf swiped one of its claws, slashing Heidi's left leg causing her to fall down and accidentally trip Howard. The two siblings were only able to turn as Elly towered over them. The large creature growled as it rose its claw, prepared to end their lives.
Then suddenly...!
"SMOKEBOMB!" yelled out a voice before a large cloud of orange smoke appeared between the Weinermans and the werewolf.
The beast staggered back by the foul smell before being kicked back by a swift ninja kick. The creature stopped itself with its own claws and snarls at the individual that had attacked it. That individual was none other than Randy in his ninja suit.
"THE NINJA?!" asked Heidi in shock.
"Listen there's an opening deeper down the tunnel, you'll be able to get out from there." said Randy
"What the juice took you so long man? We were almost her midnight snack!" said Howard in anger.
"Dude, I told you to stay in the house. Now go while I handle Cujo over there." said Randy as he took out his katana.
The werewolf jumped at Randy as Howard and Heidi ran towards the exit. Randy jumped at the beast and slashed at its left shoulder with his sword. The werewolf turned and snarled at Randy as the wound on its shoulder healed up. Randy charged at the werewolf with his sword forward at great speed. The werewolf jumped over the blade and Randy landing on the other side of the wall before jumping back at Randy. Randy caught a glimpse of the wild beast's attack forcing himself to drop down and spin back to face the werewolf. In a swift movement Randy blocked the ferocious creature's claws and fangs. Randy was pushed back to the wall.
Randy struggled to push the large creature off of him but despite his struggle, the beast continued to bite at Randy's blade. Randy could feel the breath of the werewolf clinging onto his face, the fangs were inching closer to him. Randy's mind raced to find a way to get the beast off of him and in a moment of desperation Randy remembered his death defying trick he pulled back in Transylvania.
"Ninja Air Kick!" screamed Randy as he landed a powerful kick in the creature's stomach.
A might gale force wind sent the werewolf off of Randy. Using this chance Randy sprinted towards the exit to catch up with his friends. The werewolf slowly got up, shook itself back up and then ran towards Randy. Randy quickly spun around and threw four razor discs at the werewolf imbedding in its chest. The creature staggered back only slightly before continuing its way towards Randy and the Weinermans.
Randy reached both Howard and Heidi just as they were starting to get out of the tunnel.
"What's taking you guys so long?" asked Randy as he kept watch for the werewolf.
"Not my fault that Heidi got her leg slashed." said Howard
"Do you think that I asked for this?" asked Heidi in anger.
"We don't have time for this, we need to get out of here. That thing seems to be able to take everything I've thrown and it keeps getting up. By the way where is Elly?" asked Randy
"That's her!" said Heidi pointing at the incoming creature.
"Wait, what?!" asked Randy right on time for Elly the werewolf let out a vicious growl.
"I don't suppose that you have anything made of silver, do you?" asked Howard
"I'll tell you on the way out." said Randy as he slung Heidi over his shoulder and began to rush out with Howard close behind.
The two high school students rushed out to the surface and after running for almost five whole minutes they broke out into the cool air of the night. Randy quickly placed Heidi down behind a large tree and Howard got right behind it as well.
"What's the plan man?" asked Howard
Randy took out the silver dagger that Maleva had given him and showed it to Howard.
"Ok, that should work." said Howard
"I can't use it on Elly, her grandmother asked me to get her to her." said Randy
"This is starting to be like a trend. Do you have anything else made of silver?" asked Howard
Randy pulled out Elly's necklace that he had found back in the town.
"That's Elly's necklace, she was frantic back in the tunnel before she started to transform." said Heidi as she held her leg in pain.
That made Randy think about the effect that the necklace actually had. Just then Elly jumped out from the tunnel and began sniffing around, looking for her targets. Randy looked out from the tree line and then back at the dagger.
"I'll try to keep her at bay with the dagger and then I'll put this necklace on her. You two stay here." said Randy as he jumped to face the werewolf.
The werewolf sniffed the air looking for its prey only for Randy to kick it in the back of the head. The werewolf shot its head back and snarled at Randy as he held the dagger in a reverse grip. They began to circle one another with Randy keeping low and ready to fight.
"Elly, I don't know how it works for werewolves, but I know you're in there. You're grandmother sent me, I want to help you." said Randy as the two stared at each other.
Elly only snarled back at Randy and then jumped at him. Randy roll ducked underneath the lunging Elly and used this opportunity to cut her right leg's shin with the silver dagger. Elly landed on the ground growling in pain. Randy turned around to face Elly as she snarled at him. Randy looked at her bleeding leg and then back at the dagger.
"I can work with this." said Randy
Elly charged once more at Randy with killer instinct in her eyes and her fangs drawn. Randy quickly side stepped to the right only letting the claws of the werewolf to slash the tip of his scarf. But Randy used this chance to cut her underarm, severing her right arm's tendon. Randy spun on his heel and gripped his scarf and wrapped Elly in a tight restrain.
Randy began to pull at the scarf with all his strength but the beast was fighting with every ounce of strength it had. It became a battle of will as Randy was forced to drop the dagger to pull at his scarf with both hands.
The werewolf fought against the restrains with all its might but Randy kept a tight hold on her as he slowly inched closer to her.
"Ok Elly, I really hope this works, because if it doesn't then this is gonna hurt." said Randy as he jumped at Elly's back.
Randy wrapped his arms around Elly's neck trying to restrain her. Elly however wasn't making it easy as she thrashed and savagely moved like a wild beast. Just then she grabbed hold of Randy's arms and used them to fling him to a tree. Randy crashed back first into the tree and then fell down to the ground head first.
"Ouch." said Randy with a small smile under his mask
Elly took one step towards Randy but then felt something burning around her neck. She looked down on her neck to find the silver necklace wrapped around her neck. The necklace began to glow brightly as a sound of burning flesh could be heard. Elly howled in pain, her body began to turn and transform back into that of a human girl. Elly then collapsed on the ground completely drained of energy.
"Cunningham, you still alive?" asked Howard as he got out from behind the tree.
"Wait, Randy? Randy's the ninja?" asked Heidi surprised.
"Thanks Howard." said Randy as he rolled back to his feet.
Suddenly the three of them heard several howls off in the distance.
"Oh, crap. There's more of those things!" said Howard as Randy quickly picked up Elly and the dagger.
"Yeah, so I suggest we get the juice out of here before the rest of the town shows up for dinner. Maleva's house isn't far." said Randy as he began leading the Weinermans to safety.
"I can't run, my leg." said Heidi pointing to her leg.
Randy thrusted his left arm and aimed it at Heidi's wounded leg.
"This might sting. Art of Healing." said Randy as a ray of energy shot out of it and into Heidi's leg.
Heidi silently screamed as the wound on her leg turned into nothing more than a scar.
"Better? Good. Now hold your breath. Smoke bomb!" said Randy as he threw a smoke bomb to the ground.
The orange cloud surrounded the four teens allowing them to run through the forest without their scent to give their location up. Running as fast as they could they were pushed by their fear and promise of a safe haven.
A couple of miles away, Maleva paced in her old house worried that something horrible might have occurred. Just then she heard movement coming from the outside. She walked up to her window and she spotted Randy running with the Weinermans, and Elly on his shoulders. She quickly opened the door allowing them all to enter.
"Quick, enter, enter!" said Maleva
All of the teens entered quickly and then Maleva closed the door and locked it.
"Oh man, that was intense." said Howard as everyone was out of breath.
Randy quickly dropped Elly on the chair carefully and then pulled out his sword and the silver dagger as if he awaited an army of werewolves to break into the house.
"You rest hunter, they cannot cross into this home. I made sure of that." said Maleva walking towards Elly
Randy let out a breath of relief and dropped to his knees in exhaustion. Maleva began to look over her granddaughter and let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, she'll be alright." said Maleva
"Guys, this is Maleva. She's Elly's grandmother." said Randy
"Randy. Howard. What. The. Juice. Is. Going. On." said Heidi glaring daggers at Randy and Howard.
"You wanna tell her now?" asked Howard
"I think we should both tell her." said Randy pulling off his mask.
