The days have passed on, and I managed to convince Epsilon that we could return down to earth again. I just hope currently, that we could live a bit of a normal life and not have anything dangerous involved at all.
Epsilon was doing all that he can, to make sure that Kara's life wasn't in complete danger at all. She is too fragile to be in danger, and I know that we don't Kara to be in any danger at this very moment, until she is able to defend herself without our help.
I bet that one day, there will be a time in her life, when she will be needing the help from all of us. I just have that feeling, something might happen and someone will be blaming her for it.
But I will do whatever it takes, to keep her safe until she is old enough to be on her own. I love her too much, to where I do not want to lose her. Not now. Not ever.
Epsilon and Francis, they are going to do their best to keep their own past a secret, just to defend Kara. We aren't sure what will happen, when she finds out about their past. I am afraid for her to even find out, for who knows how she will react.
I pulled Kara out of her crib on night, and walked over to the window that was in her room. We had just finally settled down in our new home, and now we can finally relax and try to keep things from exploding on all of us.
Now, being normal can be an option for just the four of us. We won't have to deal with cryptids, fighting villains or anything like that at all. Our lives can be plain and simple with no disturbances.
Staring out the window, I could see the moon and stars above the tree tops. It was pretty to see, and it calmed me down a small bit.
Now we can be at peace, until trouble comes our way.
[This book 1. The next book will be a sequel to this one, but still on Miranda's point of view and how Kara grows up with two spies in her family.]
