When she made it back to the guild hall, she ran into Soujirou almost immediately. He was smiling and was about to ask her a question or speak to her when she suddenly dropped her bags and wrapped her arms around him tightly, burying her head in his clothes and holding his head against her shoulder.

"What's this for?" He asked muffled by the fabric of her kimono. Her face was contorted into an expression betraying pain and heartache.

"Your Elder Tales..." She mumbled, feeling worse than he did. Her normal anxiety caught up with her and although she was embarrassed for suddenly hugging him, she embraced him tighter.

He chuckled quietly, "You seem more broken down about it..." He smiled, yet it wasn't filled with happiness either; he too was feeling melancholy. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her tightly against him.

After she'd changed and put away some bags of indescribable objects, she was planning on finding Soujirou again to give some of the gifts to. But as she was walking towards his room, she heard an array of voices in the room beside her, lucky, they were all gathered together. From the look of it they were having some kind of meeting, probably about whatever Shiroe was doing.

Nazuna was the first to ask, the others were just really confused, "What are you wearing?"

With a completely serious face, she whipped out a Tantou and knelt down staring Nazuna in the eyes the entire time, "I'm committing Seppuku of course."

All faces froze in shock as she positioned the sword near her stomach ready to disembowel herself, there was a little bit of shouting and screaming in panic, Nazuna even tackled her.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" She screamed mid flight while launching herself over and tackling Sayuri to disarm her. She struggled under the elder woman's grip, "I'm committing an honourable suicide for going against my bushido, for being useless in an important battle." She choked out, since Nazuna was way stronger than expected, "Obviously." She was just handed a stronger choke hold for the last comment.

It took a while, but they calmed down and confiscated all sharp objects in a five meter range of Sayuri, for some reason Soujirou was just smiling carefree the entire time. "Then, allow me to formally apologise for my actions." She began when all had quietened, she placed her head on the floor in a bow , "I'm sorry for being no help at all... By the way, this is really embarrassing..." She muttered.

"Satsu-" Although he caught his mistake, he made another one in the process. He was going to be the good guy, call out her name and reassure her... he called out the wrong name. He noticed it though, and stopped before saying her full name and in the end it came out as Satsu... Now if only the girls didn't misunderstand. Well, Sayuri was blushing - as was Soujirou at his mistake, but...

"Satsu? Murderer?" Olive mused before they glared at Soujirou -surprisingly. He shrunk back confused until he realised what he'd said, of course Sayuri knew he didn't call her a Satsujin but the others didn't know her full name... So that was the only other option.

"Souji, that's hypocritical." Nazuna deadpanned and stared at Soujirou, it wasn't a kind stare either. They were like rabid dogs protecting their young... Since when did they become so close to Sayuri? They'd met once?

"A-Actually..." Sayuri tried to intervene but was hushed and told 'We'll take care of this' and for some reason it sounded really manly from her side.

The two, the perpetrator and victim, both had on the same expression of nervousness.

After a long lecture Sayuri was peer pressured into watching, she was left alone with a weary and defeated guild master. She tried to reassure him with a smile of her own, "Thank you, Soujirou."

That seemed to trigger him to bounce right back, he grinned, "Since everyone else is gone, there's a meeting tomorrow with Shiro-senpai and some other guilds; Could you come?"

She replied instantly, "That's fine," She stood up and looked back towards him, who looked confused at her movement, "But play a game with me please?"

The girls that had left the room had quickly returned as they realised their mistake. The girl supposed to be closest to their precious Sou-chan was in a room alone with him.

Olive was breathing heavily as they peered through the cracks in the door in an astonishing position that would be impossible in normal bodies. Nazuna was glaring in the room and although Isami was jealous she was trying to advise against peeking. Kawara was enjoying herself even if she didn't care or know what was going on.

"You're really bad at chess." Sayuri announced with a deadpan, moving her piece and checkmating Soujirou. He groaned and frowned as he began to place his white pieces back on the board for another game.

"You have years of experience. You aren't going easy on me either." He complained, moving his pawn forward with a focused expression. Sayuri smiled in response and moved her pawn. Her eyes clearly showed amusement despite the game being so onesided.

"Would you prefer me to?" She asked and got the 'no' she expected as well as a small grin. "Oh, about all of the guild," She paused momentarily to check if it was fine to speak freely, when he just looked at her to continue, she did, "You are aware that 99% of those in your guild are in love with you right?" His cheeks flared instantaneously, so he was in a way.

Those outside were fuming in many ways. Some had mentally exploded with faces burning and passed out from the sudden confession that wasn't even from their mouths; others were fuming in an angry way, their confessions should be special for Sou-chan.

Sayuri looked through the crack in the door and grinned smugly at those peering through,

"SHE KNEW THE ENTIRE TIME!"

"But some of them, Nazuna for example, are like 20 years older than you. It must be tough being so attractive to women." This time Nazuna was ready to charge in there and wrestle the younger girl to the floor, but she was held back by Olive who was actually celebrating the comment, "Then there's the creepy elven lady that bleeds at the sight of you. Must be hard." Now it was Nazuna holding Olive back, Kawara was holding in her laughter in the background and others just continued to watch. Sayuri was having fun, she was definitely enjoying this.

Soujirou denied it though with a happy smile, "No, I appreciate and like them all. They're my friends, and they aren't bothering me." Even though he said that, the hearts of the women outside were pierced by the arrow of friendship.

"Ah, I win again." Sayuri muttered. After seeing that she had, Soujirou groaned and held his head, seems logic games weren't his strong suit, "Instead, how about we spar? It's more suitable." Like she'd thought, he agreed quickly,

"Are we using simple bokutou?" He asked as they cleared up the chess set, Sayuri turned around from putting the board away in a cabinet and replied 'sure' before asking her own question,

"Should we spar in here or outside?" Souji seemed to think it over for a while before settling on the indoor dojo they had. Thankfully Sayuri had given the ladies outside enough time to escape, so when they exited the room there wasn't anyone or any evidence of peeking.

His expression turned serious and dark as he looked over at her with a smirk, "I won't go easy on you."

While his expression darkened, hers got lighter and cheerful, "I too won't hold back."
