"What does it look like? We're on our honey moon"Kyoya turned his head slightly to look towards the door as Haruhi buried her head in his chest too hide.
"Seriously? I mean come on! Kaoru was right I should have called first"Hikaru looked away in disgust as he covered his eyes. That image was going to be burned into his brain for a long time.
He had been in such a rush to come and talk to them that he hadn't bothered to call ahead, the reception women had been horrible but Kyoyas security team thankfully recognized him. They were even kind enough to give him the spare key to the suite
"If you had called we would have finished sooner, Haruhi we'll finish later"Kyoya whispered softly into her ear as he withdrew himself but held her steady with his hands. Her legs dropped to the floor as she still refused to remove her face from his shirt.
Mortification is a soft way to express how horrible she was feeling right now. She would have rather been caught by Kaoru then Hikaru, he would never let her live this down.
"Is seduction really that much of a talent for you that even Haruhi fell for it"Hikaru closed the door behind him as he dragged in a box behind him. He placed it on the bed and watched as Kyoya took a seat. Haruhi had disappeared into the nearby bathroom to hide her shame.
'That was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen'Hikaru couldn't help but think as he watched Haruhi slowly remove herself from the room.
Hikaru had spent the majority of his teenage years thinking about being with Haruhi, he had to admit he was highly jealous of the situation.
"It's alright Haruhi, we're both adults here"Hikaru never could stay mad at her for long, and he didn't even have a real reason too. She was an adult, she was having 'relations' with her husband, in the eyes of anyone else but Hikaru there would be nothing wrong. Even if he did still have feeling for her, she had turned him down years ago and maintained her feelings of friendship for the entire time.
"What is so important that you had to brag into our room for? And more importantly how did you get in"Kyoyas question was answered by a spare key being pushed his way. He would need to talk to his security team about letting his friends into bother him, he had only told them to keep Tamaki out.
Haruhi peaked out from the bathroom and made her way over to them. She felt ashamed of herself, part of her knew she should still be "grieving" over Tamaki leaving her.
Hikaru gave her a friendly smile, there was no point in hiding now. She gave up and took a seat next to Kyoya.
"This was sent to our house this was addressed for Haruhi from.. mm the boss, I knew I wasn't supposed to open it but I did"Hikaru placed the piece of paper in Kyoyas hand. On it was the return address and mailing information all addressed to Haruhi.
Kyoya opened the box to see if was full small objects that belonged to Haruhi, most notable was a framed picture of her mother.
"This isn't the only box I assume"Kyoya crumpled the paper in his hand as he looked over to see Haruhi holding a worried expression on her face.
She reached inside and removed the picture of her mother, it was a copy of the same one her father had. When she moved in with Tamaki this was one of the first things she brought over, she wanted her mother to be able to see her happy. Now all she saw was a pained look on her face.
"There's about 20 more at our house.."Hikaru couldn't help but suddenly regret coming. When the boxes all arrived this morning they dropped them off on the front steps and didn't say anything else. Hikaru had carried them inside with Kaorus help after realizing what the boxes were, they didn't trust their servants not to drop something important.
In his fury he had grabbed the first box he could and demanded to be taken to Haruhi. He hadn't thought they'd actually be doing anything on their honeymoon besides maybe enjoying the company.
"I see"It didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on. Tamaki was kicking her out while she was still gone on her honeymoon so he wouldn't have to confront her. Kyoya closed the box and moved it away from Haruhi.
"Haruhi.. "Hikaru noticed as he stepped towards her only to have her flinch. He reached out to touch her now shivering form only to have her stand up.
"I'm fine!"And with that she ran into the closet and slammed the door behind her. She curled into a ball at the bottom on the closet floor and held herself tight. Holding the picture of her mother close to her chest, she cried.
In that moment she had wanted her mother to be alive more than ever, to walk her through this heart break and comfort her in the way only a mother could. But her mother was done. An she was alone.
"Hikaru I think you should leave, have all her things moved into my mansion and next time call"Kyoya grabbed the box and placed it back into Hikarus arms before pushing him out the door.
Hikaru tried to protest that he needed to be there for Haruhi but only received an icy glare.
"Hey wait!"But Kyoya had already slammed the door in his face
-Tamaki—
"I see.. so she's already married.. but who.."Tamaki sat there staring out the window of his hotel room. Hunny and Mori had both refused to tell him
"Maybe Kyoya will know.. I should call him"
-Kyoya and Haruhi—
"Haruhi open the door please"Kyoya stood there outside the closet door, his voice was soft and calm as he tried to get her to open the door. It had been over an hour and she still was refusing to.
His call was met with silence
"Haruhi please open the door, I can't help you until you do"Kyoya moved towards the nightstand and withdrew a key from the drawer. He traced his fingers over it and then walked back towards the closet
Again there was no answer
At the end of his rope with options he slipped the key into the door and opened it.
'Yes I'm going to murder him'Kyoya kneeled down as he looked at Haruhi, she didn't open her eyes or move, she just laid. Her cheeks held dried tears.
"Haruhi, I promise it'll all work out"He cradled her in his arms as slept, finally worn out from crying. The picture frame clenched in her hands.
He carried her gently over to the bed and tucked her in. She didn't stir at all but only mumbled softly for her mother.
"Tamaki was never the type of man to take things seriously, but Haruhi I will never leave your side"Kyoya whispered softly as he laid down behind her. His arm wrapped around her waist to keep her close to him.
"I love you"His voice soothed her as she relaxed into his arms trying to enjoy his warmth. He felt her arms relax as she released the picture frame from her arms. Kyoya was careful as he placed it on the bedside stand and laid back down with her.
"Kyoya….thank you for saving me"Haruhi whispered softly as she felt his arms wrap around her waist again. She had woken up when he crawled out of bed to place her mothers' picture on the side.
She had heard him whisper those words
She had heard him say he loved her
"The moment you lost your prince, someone needed to save you"Kyoya smiled at the thought of Haruhi thinking of him in such a light. His arms loosened slightly as he lowered his head to kiss her hair.
"Thank you for saving me.. on more than one occasion"Haruhi puffy red eyes didn't seem so puffy as she smiled up at him happily enjoying the way he seemed to be lifting her mood. With his now loosened arm she rolled herself over to look at him.
He had changed to much. His eyes were no longer cold, but warm and gentle. His hands seemed welcoming and his heart open.

"Answer it"Haruhi pointed down to Kyoyas pocket as he reached down and pulled it out and flipped it open. He was annoyed by the sudden call but knew it would be best to get it out of the way quickly.
"Hello?"Kyoya put it on speaker phone as he pulled Haruhi into his lap leaving playful kisses on her neck making her giggle
"Kyoya I'm sorry to call like this but… I heard Haruhi got married and I was wondering if you could help me find out to who?"
