After school that day Kiyomi met Neji at the mall. Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, and Sakura were going to meet them there as well, but they hadn't arrived yet. They were all meeting at the food court so Kiyomi and Neji found a table to fit them. She sat extra close to Neji, crossing her legs and leaning over towards him. She entwined her fingers with his before laying her head on his shoulder.

The incident with TenTen really put things into perspective. As horrible as it sounds, she didn't realize how much Neji truly meant to her until losing him was a possibility. All the memories they shared seemed to be on her mind nonstop. All the good times and the bad. She was starting to understand that you can't have a relationship without bad times as well. Their good times definitely outweighed the bad and she wished she had saw this before cheating on him.

Maybe everything that happened was a sign. A sign that she should make a choice and stick with it. She knew she loved Neji, but she was starting to believe the feelings she has for Itachi is love as well. Perhaps its why whenever she thinks about ending things with either one of them, she feels sick. When she broke things off with Itachi, she felt like a piece of her was missing. Whenever she thinks of breaking up with Neji, her heart begins to hurt. She couldn't believe how out of control she let things get.

"What has your mind so occupied?" Neji asked breaking her thoughts.

She looked up at him. He had a small smile on his face with a hint of concern. She looked into his pale eyes. She remembered the first day they met. She hadn't been living in Konoha long and she was so nervous about starting at a new school with people she didn't know. Her first day at school she was walking the hall, trying to blend in when Neji bumped into her. He didn't say 'excuse me' and she remembered how she rounded on him, calling him a jerk. He simply smiled and asked her if he could show her to her class. They didn't start dating until their last year of high school, but they had grown so close during those years.

"I was just thinking about the first time we met." She responded smiling at him, making Neji chuckle.

"You could say excuse me jerk!" He said in a voice trying to resemble hers.

They both laughed, remembering it as if it had happened yesterday. Then Kiyomi looked at him, her eyes going back and forth between his. She leaned over and kissed him. It wasn't a sweet kiss or a lustful kiss, it was a kiss full of love. As much love as she had for him, not caring if anyone was watching.

"You know I love you, right?" Kiyomi asked when the kiss broke.

"I know."

"Promise me you'll always remember that."

"Is everything okay?" Neji asked, his eyebrows knotting.

Kiyomi was suddenly feeling like it was time. Time to be honest.

"I have to tell you something."

"What? You know you can tell me anything." Neji said while giving her hand a slight squeeze of encouragement.

"I…" Kiyomi started but was interrupted by Naruto yelling 'Hey!' at them as he and their friends walked up.

"Why so serious?" Naruto smiled while grabbing a seat next to her.

"Uh nothing." She smiled at Naruto before turning back to Neji. "We'll talk about it later."

Neji nodded his head, letting it go.

When everyone took their seats, they decided to get some food. They had some random conversations, talking about nothing in particular. It had been a while since they all just hung out and they were having a pretty good time as the conversations flowed around the table. While laughing and joking around, an addition to the table arrived.

"Hello everyone." Kiyomi turned around to see TenTen standing behind her. The smile on her face slowly died.

They greeted TenTen and Ino grabbed a chair for her to sit down. Kiyomi's eyes followed her as she walked around to the other side of the table.

"I thought you weren't going to be able to come?" Ino said after TenTen sat down.

"I didn't think I was since I had to go get a new phone."

"Why'd you need a new phone?" Naruto asked.

"Mine got wet." TenTen said while looking at Kiyomi.

Kiyomi kept eye contact. She felt like TenTen was trying to size her up.

"Sorry that we ate without you." Neji said, making them break the staring contest.

"Its okay. I don't plan on staying long." TenTen turned her attention back towards Kiyomi. "I wanted to say thank you."

"For what?"

"For helping clear things up. I was conflicted about what to do, but your actions made things very easy."

"Is that so?" Kiyomi asked in a curt tone.

"Yes. Do you really think I was too dumb to not make a copy of the video?"

Kiyomi's heart began to race but she tried to keep her composure. Everyone at the table were just listening and watching their interaction, not knowing what was going on.

Then suddenly TenTen spoke and her words shocked them all.

"Neji, Kiyomi is cheating on you and I have it on video."

There were gasps and chins on the floor all around the table but Kiyomi didn't gasp. She felt like she didn't have enough air in her lungs to do that. She kept her eyes on TenTen. Not truly believing that she just dropped the bomb of the century on the table for all their friends to hear. For Neji to hear.

"Wh...what?" Neji asked. Kiyomi knew he was looking at her but she couldn't face him.

A moment of silence went by before TenTen answered for her.

"She's been cheating on you for weeks with Itachi Uchiha."

Everyone turned their heads to Sasuke and Kiyomi's stomach felt like she was going down a roller coaster.

"Kiyomi what is she talking about?" Neji asked holding her hand.

She finally got the courage to turn and face him but the look on his face made her want to run away. It was a look of confusion and hope. Hope that she would tell him TenTen was a liar and that it wasn't true. But she couldn't lie to him, not with this look on his face.

"Neji I…I can explain."

He let go of her hand as if he no longer had the energy to hold it. He took a deep breath.

"Was it just kissing…tell me it was just kissing." He pleaded.

Kiyomi didn't know how to answer that. She couldn't answer it. If she did then this nightmare would become a reality. She was going to tell him but not like this. Neji must've read the truth on her face because his expression changed to anger. So much anger.

He stood up from the table to walk away but Kiyomi was quick after him. She reached out and grabbed his arm.

"Neji wait!" She cried but he snatched his arm out of her grasp with such force, it caused her to fall.

"Don't fucking touch me!" He screamed causing Naruto and Sasuke to jump up and pull him away. "I hate you! I fucking hate you!"

After getting up to her feet, Kiyomi looked around and saw the commotion caused some people to start watching. Her heart was pounding and tears were forming in her eyes.

"Neji please…" She started.

"Please what! How the fuck could you do this to me!" Neji yelled at her, struggling to get free. "Get the fuck off me!"

"Neji you have to calm down!" Sasuke said as he and Naruto continued to hold him.

"Calm down! How can I calm down when your brother has been fucking my girlfriend!" Neji stated causing everyone to switch their eyes back to Kiyomi.

She was suddenly feeling like she was naked in a room full of strangers.

When Neji stopped struggling, they let him go. He turned to face Sasuke.

"You knew, didn't you? You're the only one here who doesn't look surprised."

Sasuke looked at Kiyomi then back at Neji. He let out a sigh before responding.

"Look I tried to stop it okay. I told Itach-" Sasuke was suddenly cut off by a punch to the jaw.

"Don't fucking say his name to me!" Neji said angrily.

"Hey! Back off!" Naruto quickly stood between the two.

After a few seconds, Neji backed away. He then turned to Kiyomi and looked at her with so much hate and disgust.

"I want nothing else to do with you." He said before walking off.

Everyone seemed to be in shock of what just happened. Everyone but TenTen, who had a satisfied look on her face.

"Are you happy now?" Kiyomi asked while slowly shaking her head.

"He deserved to know."

"Not like this! I was going to tell him!"

TenTen responded with a simple shrug of her shoulders.

Kiyomi felt like she couldn't breathe, like the room was getting smaller. She had to get out of there. She quickly walked off in the opposite direction that Neji went.

Everyone who remained at the table were still a little speechless. They all seemed to be in disbelief, still processing it. Except for Sasuke. He tried to warn Kiyomi that the truth couldn't stay hidden forever, but he didn't think it would come out like this. Sasuke looked over at TenTen, who was sitting with a mischievous smirk. Even if she meant well, why do this in front of everyone? Why take pleasure from it?

"How'd you get a video of Kiyomi cheating on Neji?" Ino asked TenTen, interrupting Sasuke's thoughts.

"Well, I followed her to Itachi's apartment and I-"

"Wait…you followed her?" Ino interrupted with a raised eyebrow. "Why?"

"I saw her talking to him and thought they looked a little too close so I-"

"So you stalked her and my brother." Sasuke stated walking closer to the table.

"I wouldn't call it stalking." TenTen scoffed.

"Is there another word for following people around and recording them without their knowledge?" Sakura asked quizzically.

"Okay, why is everyone ganging up on me? Kiyomi did this to herself." TenTen retorted standing up.

"What Kiyomi did was wrong, I'm not on her side at all but this could have been handled better." Sakura answered.

"What's that supposed to mean?" TenTen asked, getting angry.

"You could have told him privately, instead you made a scene and embarrassed him in front of everyone." Sasuke voiced.

"Whatever, my heart was in the right place." TenTen said pointing at her chest and looking at all of them.

"I don't think it was." Naruto spoke after being quiet for a while. "I saw the glee in your eye when he told Kiyomi he hated her. You did this for your own personal reasons."

Sasuke looked at his boyfriend. He had a serious expression on his face, which he didn't use often.

"Even if I did, she deserves it." TenTen stated bluntly before turning to leave with a huff.

Ino quickly stood and went after her.

"Wait! I want to see the video!" She yelled.

Sakura shook her head and then told Naruto and Sasuke she would see them later before following after Ino. It was just the two of them left standing near the table and Naruto seemed to be in deep thoughts. Sasuke was about to ask the blonde if he wanted to leave, when Naruto asked a question of his own.

"How long did you know about this?"

Sasuke put his hands in his pockets before answering.

"I knew Itachi was interested in her, but I didn't know they were…together until last week."

Naruto exhaled. "Let's get out of here."

Neji was fuming. His heart was pounding with so much anger, he thought he might have a heart attack. How could he be so blind? Everything came back to him. All the excuses. All the times she was too busy. The night at the restaurant when he saw them interact. Was she already cheating on him then? The signs were there but he ignored them. He never thought she would do that to him. He trusted her. He was so angry and even though he didn't want to admit it to himself, he was heartbroken.

He got into his car and drove off in such a haste. He couldn't stomach to see her anymore. Just the thought of it. The thought of her fucking another guy. It took his mind to dark places he never thought he could go. He just felt so betrayed. Was it him? Was it something he did or didn't do? No. He wasn't going to blame himself for her actions. Not this time.

He drove until he ended up in an empty parking lot of some random building. He just sat there alone with his thoughts. He never had this type of heart break before. He had breakups of course but nothing like this. Kiyomi was the first girl he ever truly loved. The first girl he could see himself spending the rest of his life with. That's why he didn't want to lose her, but this was something he couldn't forgive. God his heart felt like it was aching. It felt like someone had stomped on it. Or like someone was sitting on his chest.

Would he be less of a man if he cried right now? His chest heaved with force. His breathing was uneven. He didn't realize that tears were already falling down his face. The hurt and betrayal felt like it was crippling him. Why did she do this? He put his head in his hands. He felt embarrassed and he felt stupid. He started hitting his fist on the steering wheel and let out a howl of anger and sadness.
