At 10pm, Kurt throws on a black button down shirt and pair of skinny jeans. He makes sure his hair is properly quaffed and then heads out the door. His nerves of walking alone at night hit him the minute he gets outside the apartment building. He completely forgot that he would have to do this.

He cautiously looks around the sidewalk. There are a handful of people walking, but all of them are talking on their cellphones. He tells himself to calm down and focuses on getting to Red Lights.

After fifteen minutes, he's grateful when he can hear the bass from the club and sees a crowd of people smoking out front. He takes a quick glance at the crowd, checking if Sebastian is there, but he isn't, so he goes on inside. The smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke hits his nose immediately, reminding him why he doesn't like places like this. The number of people on the dance floor has definitely increased since last time and he knows it's going to be hard to find Sebastian this mess of people.

He sits up at the bar and surveys the dance floor.

"Hey, you want anything?"

He turns around and faces the bar tender. "Uh, sure." The man looks like he's in his mid-thirties. He has brown hair that's neatly swept to the side and brown eyes. He's watching Kurt expectantly for his order. "Can I get a shot of whiskey?"

The man raises his eyebrows, "You don't seem like a whiskey guy." He pours the shot and slides it to Kurt.

It's true. But Kurt just needs something to get rid of his nerves. The anxiety is building up in his chest with how bad he needs to face Sebastian already. As soon as they're actually talking, he knows he'll feel better. "I'm on edge right now. I just wanted something quick to calm me down." Kurt raises his glass and downs it in a quick swallow.

"Well, that should do it. Do you want another, or...?"

"Sure. Lay it on me."

"So, who are you looking for?" He asks, sliding the second shot across the counter.

"This guy. We kinda had a fight last night." Kurt twists the shot glass back and forth on the table.

"Are you guys dating?"

Heh. "Far, far from it. He's made that quite clear."

"Oh. Sorry to impose."

"No, it's fine. I'm just a little frustrated." Kurt doesn't know why, but he feels like he can open up to this guy. That's what bar tenders are supposed to be like, right? "We kissed and he seemed really into it, but then we talked and I admitted having feelings for him. And he got angry and told me why I shouldn't like him, which completely confused me. After that, I left."

The man leans down and places his elbows on the counter. "Want me to be honest?"

"Well, I don't want you to lie," Kurt rebuttals and finally downs the second shot of whiskey.

"I think he has feelings too, but he's unsure of himself for some reason. If he cares enough, he might be scared he'll hurt you or maybe even that you'll hurt him."

Kurt thinks about it for a minute. It did kind of makes since. Sebastian's been fucking around for so long that maybe he's scared that he'll mess things up with Kurt if he can't be faithful. And then, with the possibility of Kurt hurting him, it's right back to the Will situation. Maybe Kurt was onto something last night during their fight.

"Thanks. I'll keep that in mind."

"No problem. And I think your man is headed over," he states and walks away.

"Wha—"

"Kurt."

Kurt whips his head around and his eyes land on Sebastian.

"What are you doing here?" He can't tell if Sebastian's mad at him or concerned.

"I—"

"Have you been drinking?" Sebastian's eyes are glaring at the two empty shot glasses behind Kurt.

"Just two shots." Speaking of which, he's starting to feel them. His vision has become a little fuzzy and he can't help but find Sebastian's knitted eyebrows giggle worthy.

"Stop laughing. You shouldn't be here," he scolds.

"Oh? And why not? I've been here with you before."

"Exactly. You came alone this time. Something bad could happen to you."

"Like you care," Kurt scoffs. "And for your information, I came here to talk to you."

Sebastian raises his eyebrows, but doesn't say anything.

"You wouldn't answer my text and I feel bad about what happened. I'm sorry. We can forget the whole thing even happened." No, that's not what he wants. But, if this is what it takes to be friends with him again, so be it.

Sebastian sits on the stool next to Kurt and calls over the bar tender.

"Yes? What can I get you?"

"Four shots of whiskey," Sebastian states and turns to Kurt.

"What are you…" He starts but trails off when the green eyed boy shoves two of the shots over to him.

"I'm going to get wasted. And so are you."

"Sebastian!" Kurt whines, "Stop it already!"

"Stop what? What am I doing?" He asks with a knowing smile as he tickles Kurt's side.

Kurt laughs and slaps at his hand while making every effort to get away. Sebastian grabs at the other's waist from behind and pulls him to his chest. It takes Kurt a minute to realize that they've stopped walking.

"I'm sorry I was an ass to you," the taller boy whispers.

Kurt leans back into Sebastian, enjoying the feeling of his body surrounding him. Neither one of them seems concerned with the fact that they're standing in the middle of the sidewalk hugging.

Kurt turns around in his arms and looks up at him. Those frickin' green eyes are darkened with dilation from the alcohol and it makes Kurt minutely regret his decision.

"I really like you, Kurt."

The smaller boy's eyes widen and he pulls back a bit, shaking his head. "N-no. You're just saying that cause your drunk."

"Did you know that people are more honest when they're drunk?" He smirks.

Kurt chuckles. "How can you still have the mental capability to be a smart ass right now?"

"Because I'm Sebastian," he smiles. It's the same smile that he gave Kurt in the kitchen that morning after they first drank together.

And it makes Kurt's heart beat wildly.

He leans in a bit, keeping eye contact with Kurt. "I'll prove to you that I like you," he says, hands on the other boy's hips.

Kurt lets out a shakey breath, not sure if he should pull away or stay put. "H-how?"

"You'll see."

"I don't think you should be making promises right now."

"I think that's probably true," he admits, and pulls away, smile still on his face. "Can I try something?" He asks as they continue walking towards their apartment building.

"Maybe," Kurt says, stumbling a little and laughing.

"God, you are so drunk," Sebastian laughs too.

"I can't even remember what I had to drink!" He exclaims loudly. Then, he stops walking, and looks in the distance with wide eyes. "What is that?"

"What is what?" Sebastian stops too and brings his head down to Kurt's level trying to see what he sees.

"That white thing! What is that?" He points his finger down the sidewalk and ogles with wide eyes.

"Let's check it out." Sebastian starts walking, Kurt following closely behind.

"What if it's an alien!"

"It's going to take you away."

"No, it'll take you."

"Kurt, I don't think it's big enough to be an alien."

They get a bit closer and the object is in full view now.

"Kurt, you know what this is, don't you?"

"Oh my God, Sebastian." Kurt looks up at him with wide eyes, completely shocked. "It's a bucket." He bends over, laughing. "It's a bucket!"

Sebastian chuckles at him and then puts a hand on his arm. "Come on, let's go home."

"Okay. I think that's a good idea."

They're still chuckling when Kurt feels Sebastian's hand sliding down his arm. He looks up at him with a questioning look.

"I told you I wanted to try something."

Kurt's blue eyes watch as the other boy's fingers touch the palm of his hand and slowly slide between his own fingers.

Sebastian eyes their entangled hands with curiosity. "I haven't done this since I was sixteen," he pauses for a minute and they walk in silence. "It feels nice."
