Disclaimer: Hey guys! I'm back with another awesome chapter of Bitter Love! This chapter is the beginning of the Battle of Yamazaki. Kaya and Motochika are finally together and Mitsuhide was playing matchmaker, as always. We're almost at the end of this story and I'm sad to see it go. But don't worry, I've more Story Mode stories to work on. Now on with the chapter!

"Do we really have to face Hideyoshi so soon?" Kaya asked as she rode beside Mitsuhide on her horse.

"I'm afraid so Kaya." Mitsuhide nodded sadly. "It only makes sense for Lord Hideyoshi to be the first to rise up upon hearing of Lord Nobunaga's death."

"God, can't that monkey have a little patience?" Kaya grumbled.

"Seems not." Mitsuhide said. "Now, care to enlighten me on you and Motochika?"

Kaya suddenly found the ground very interesting as her face heated up. "Um...mind if we talk about that at a later time?" She laughed sheepishly.

Mitsuhide smirked at her. "No, I'd very much like it if you tell me now."

Kaya glared at the warrior and said, "We kissed, admitted our feelings, the end. Happy now?"

"Very." Mitsuhide chuckled.

"What's with all the chatter at here?" Motochika asked as he sped up his horse to be beside Kaya.

"Oh, just Mitsuhide being curious." Kaya smiled.

"I figured as much." Motochika grinned slightly.

Suddenly the three friends heard rumbling. They looked ahead of them to see three gigantic tree trunks heading towards them. Motochika brought out his shamisen and strung a few chords. Bursts of blue energy exploded on one of the trunks, effectively blasting it to bits. Kaya held her bow tight as she fired an arrow at the smallest trunk, cutting it in half. Mitsuhide sliced the last trunk in half with his sword. One more tree trunk came towards the three and they pulled the reins on their horses, making them jump over them.

"Something tells me that wasn't a coincidence." Mitsuhide narrowed his eyes.

"They're trying to kill us before the battle even starts?" Motochika guessed.

"Well they're going to have a hell of a time trying to in the real fight." Kaya said as she sped up her horse in to a full on gallop with Mitsuhide and Motochika doing the same.

Kaya saw the looming cliffs of Yamazaki in front of them. She sighed and thought to herself, "Hideyoshi, I'm sorry it had to come to this."

Together, Kaya, Mitsuhide, and Motochika slew Nobunaga at Honnoji.

Hearing of his lord's death, Hideyoshi Hashiba halted his westward campaign and advanced swiftly towards Motochika.

Mitsuhide, Motochika, and Kaya, having slain Nobunaga in a struggle for survival, now faced an even greater danger than before in the wrath of Hideyoshi.

While Mitsuhide wallowed in regret and indecision and Kaya struggled with the decision to face her father figure, Motochika dragged them along to Yamazaki.

They had no choice but to move...to fight for their very survival.

"How can I move on with a struggle like this?"

"Chapter Four: Battle of Yamazaki!"

"Don't test me before you regret it."

Next chapter will be the Battle of Yamazaki! Hideyoshi isn't exactly in a good mood, but he will be surprised when he hears of Kaya's involvement in Nobunaga's death. You'll see how it will play out. Until next time, I'm out!
