The leader and the other defenders -minus The inventor and barbarian- were in the meeting room, sill feeling shocked about what just occurred.

"I have gathered you all here because we need to talk about The Notebook" Knightriss bellowed, "I know that some of you know what it in that book."

Kook put his hand up, "Um what is in "The Notebook?"

"Well it has something to do with monsters." The knight replied.

"So this could mean it's some type of summoning book." Ballista shouted, "But why does this castle have it?"

"No one knows my dear, that book is nothing but a mystery." The leader stated.

The defenders then started to think after awhile Kook had an idea he jumped onto the table and said, "I know we could all go and ask some people out side of the village, that way we might find out about where the book has come from!"

Kightriss nodded her head in agreement.

"But we can't all go, some of us should stay at the castle just in cease." Thorne growled, "We might get attacked again and according to chapter 3: Section 4 of The Defence rules 'All castles should have a minim of 4 defenders present if the others are going out/leaving for awhile, and the 4 defenders should be responsible people.'"

The knight was about to say something but then she closed her mouth and thought, 'Hmmm this could be tricky on who gets to stay at the castle, Gildar would just look at his mirror, Skabb is still feeling upset, Kook hardly takes things seriously, Thorne will just stay in his lab and brood hmmm.

"So who's going to do what?" the Viking questioned, looking at his reflection.

"Kook, Ballista,Thorne and I will question the people, the rest of you will stay and if an attack happens raise the alarm, do I make myself clear?" The knight bellowed.

"YES KNIGHTRISS!" the other defenders responded loudly and clearly.

The leader then assigned the defenders to their posts Gildar was stationed at the look out post at the front, Shaiden was told to patrol the back of the castle, Crocness was put on moat patrol and the ninja volunteered to inform Skabb that he will be keeping a look out at the stockade. Before the Viking went to his post the huntress took his mirror from him.

"Hey!" Gildar snapped, "I need that, without it I cannot see my handsome refection!"

"You'll just end up getting distracted!" Ballista, "What if the castle gets attacked and if your looking at your reflection, the enemy can get by with no trouble."

Skabb was in his bedroom, sat on his bed, still feeling sad about what Crocness, Thorne and Kook told him.

'My best mate...gone S-Skabb cannot believe it, he was the first friend I made at Splat Elementary School...'

Skabb was snapped out of his thought when he heard someone knock on his bedroom door.

"Enter!" The barbarian shouted.

Shaiden entered the barbarian's bedroom and she handed him a tissue.

"Thanks little girl." Skabb muttered.

"Your welcome Skabb."

"You know Shaiden, when Skabb first met Tink he got Skabb out of a jam."

"Really?" Shaiden asked.

"It all started at Splat Elementary School during December time."

(Flashback, 15 years ago)

A 10 year old Skabb slowly walked out the hallway observing the unfamiliar surroundings at the school. His parents decided to move, at first the young barbarian felt unsure then he felt excited as his mother said they get the chance to travel and meet new people.

"Well, well, well." A Voice said snapping the barbarian out of his he looked up he saw a group made up of 2 boys and girls who looked like 6th graders.

"We haven't seen you around before, who are you?" one of the boys asked.

"Skabb." the young barbarian yelled said.

The group laughed, "We are gonna have so much fun fresh meat." both girls chuckled.

The group started to advance towards Skabb, before they could hurt him they felt paintballs hit the back of their necks, causing them to turn around.

"Grrr, it's that nerdy, half-pint fresh meat." The other boy seethed, "Let's get him!"

Skabb peeked over the gang of students heading towards the other person and saw a young cyborg, holding a paintball launcher.

'He looks abit young to be holding something like that.'

Suddenly, the cyborg threw his paintball launcher and Skabb caught it before it hit the floor, he quickly looked at the instructions scribbled on the side and fired a vast amount of paintballs at the group causing them to flee.

"We'll get you for this you freaks!" They all yelled.

The cyborg applauded, impressed with Skabb's skills.

"Hello there, I'm Skabb."

"Tinkor." The cyborg said.

"Um not to be rude or anything but er..." before Skabb should finish his sentence Tinkor shook his head.

"Tinky skipped grades, Tinky in the fourth grade even though I am six years old."

"Your six and in the fourth grade?"

"Um when I finished Kindergarten, my father suggested that I skipped grades because of how smart I am. " Tink stated, feeling self-conscious, "I did not want to skip grades but..."

" Skabb wants to know, are you new here?"

"Yes ,Tinky is new here, no friends."

"I am new as well, if it's all right with you I'll be your buddy."

"Sure, what lesson do you have?"

"I have learning how to defend, with Mr Woods."

"So do I."

"I think you and I are gonna get along just fine."

(End of flash back)

The ninja felt a bit surprised, "Wow you have know each other for along time."

"Yep, and we both made a promise that we would always look out for each other." Skabb stated, smiling at the memory.

"Oh Skabb, Knightriss said that you'll be keeping an eye out at the stockade." Shaiden said.

Skabb grinned slightly.

With the pardoning platform it's where the defenders stand and squirt the most slime launch the best goo grenades and fire the fiercest foam. The platform has another purpose which is where the defenders like to sing loudly and annoy castle neighbours.

Skabb sat up from his bed, picked up a book and dashed off to his assigned post, as he was heading to the stockade he crashed into the Viking, causing the book to drop from Skabb's hands.

"Mind where your going you idiot!" Gildar growled.

"What's the matter with you?" Skabb asked in a mocking tone, "Has your face shattered your mirror?"

Gildar gripped onto his Viking Hammer tightly and scowled, "Ballista took my mirror off me, she thinks I'll get distracted!"

"Well Skabb thinks she is right!" Skabb scowled back, walking away from Gildar.

'What a typical barbarian he's so rude and boisterous!'

Gildar look at the floor and saw the book that Skabb dropped, the Viking picked up the book and read some of the content out loud, he had thought of giving the book back to the barbarian but he decided not to then made his way to the look out post.

(At the unknown location)

the three people were having a conversation away from the body that was on the ground.

"We should tell her, she might know what to do with it." the fist person muttered to their mates.

"No way, she might kill it." The second person retorted.

"It might belong to a an organization, and it escaped." the third person suggested.

Suddnely the boady started to move and when they heard the word "it", they growled, "Hey, who are you calling an it!"

"AGH!" the three people screamed "WHAT ARE YOU!"

"I am someone who like to strike...terror into the hearts of attackers!"
