What would a PokeFic series be without Colorless shipping? (M) Zekrom x (F) Reshiram!
PS: I'll continue Xerneas x Yvelta next chapter :)

The Dragoness sighed, looking to the sky. It's been a while since she's last seen her counterpart. Ever since the dragon temple incident, he's had little to no interactions with her. Reshiram, though not saddened completely by this, did feel... lonely. This was unusual for her. She's never felt lonely because of the lack of Zekroms' presence. To be honest, the never really had much contact to begin with.
However, after he chose to save her from the flames... she felt different. This feeling was much more unique than longing. It was a feeling as if... they should have met, but something prevented that. It was hard for her to comprehend, but Reshiram had a hunch Zekrom might be experiencing the same feeling. So, she decided to go search for him, wherever he may be.
"Why do I bother? He probably doesn't even want to see me after our fight." She thought, taking flight and beginning her search.
The Dragoness guessed where she'd be hiding if she were her counterpart. One destination stood out of all she thought of. The Dragon Temple. Picking up her pace, she began to feel... better. It was as if she'd be happy to see his counterpart, should he be at the Temple. Sure, she'd be relieved that he'd be ok, but that was the only reason. Or... it should be.
Shaking off her thoughts, Reshiram glanced ahead - the Dragon Temple coming into view. She was sure to stay hidden, diving down quickly, landing on the ledge of the Temples opening. There she stood, looking out across Unova. Reshiram closed her eyes and sighed.
"It was stupid to come looking for him." She quietly scolded herself. Reshiram spread her wings, ready to take flight. Until... she heard something. Turning around, she was met with the back wings of the Thunder God that was her counterpart.
Silence.
Thoughts and memories were swimming through Reshirams' mind. She didn't actually expect to... find him. The seeking was only supposed to distract her from negative feelings from the battle. She never thought this would be the outcome.
Tension?
Perhaps...
Not the bad kind though.
"Nice view is nice, isn't it."
She was almost too lost in thought to hear him. Almost...
She looked up to face him. His back was still facing to her. She sighed nervously. Then, smiled lightly.
"I'm over reacting." She thought. Swallowing her nervousness, she walked up to Zekrom.
"Indeed. Nicest I've seen in a while." Reshiram said, now standing next to him, but not facing him. She looked back to Unova once more. It really was nice. The rivers and small villages, and the way the wind caressed the treetops. Unova was certainly a sight to behold.
"Glad you're ok." Zekrom said, turning his head towards his counterpart. The Dragoness stilled.
"S-Same to you."
Silence.
Thoughts.
Worries.
Reshiram didn't know what else to say at this point. She had a feeling her counterpart felt the same, even if he looked calm and collected.
This was awkward. Plain awkward.
"Look, Reshiram." Zekrom spoke, breaking the silence. Reshiram looked up, only to find him... rather close. She jumped back a bit, startled. Then she sighed - annoyed at herself for making this a big deal.
"I know, I know..."
"What?"
"This is dumb. I..." She couldn't find the words to complete her sentence. Her voice quieted.
Zekrom sighed. He did something the Dragoness never would have expected. The Thunder God placed both his claws on Reshirams' shoulders. She jolted slightly, but didn't pull away. She looked to the side.
"Reshiram. I get it. I felt the same way you do now at first. But... I'm willing to put everything that happened behind me if you are." Zekrom said. He looked directly at his counterpart. Her eyes were deep blue with cloud-white pupils. If he looked at them long enough, he'll bet he the could see the sky's reflection.
Reshiram sighed a hum. She wanted it too. It was stupid and useless to still be flustered about the battle. She decided. The Dragoness places her own claws on his shoulders and smiled.
"Alright, Zekrom." She said, her voice regaining its normal free flowing tone. She assumed she was a bit nervous because she's never had physical contact with... anyone let alone her counterpart. She leaned in to the touch of his claws. He smiled back at her.
"That's a relief. I thought we'd... still be on bad terms." He said. Reshiram laughed lightly.
"I thought that too. But I guess that's what counterparts do. Always assuming things..." She said. He laughed as well.
"At least we think more logical than two certain space and time deities." He said, cockily.
Reshiram laughed, whole-heartedly this time. She was happy he was trying to ease the awkward tension between them. It was working, too.
"That, we are."
"Reshiram?"
"Hmm?"
"It's getting a bit late and w-well..." Zekrom stilled his voice, drawing out his words carefully. Reshiram sighed, drawing her counterpart in for a hug - something he'd expect himself to do, seeing how shy the Dragoness was in the beginning. Pleasantly surprised, the Thunder God placed his claws on Reshirams back, returning the gesture. Zekrom then finished his question. "...Would you want to... spend the night here? I mean... it'll get cold soon, and either of us catching something wouldn't be good, plus we're already here and - "
"I'd like that." Reshiram said, almost in a whisper. Her counterpart sighed happily and rested his head into her neck and shoulder. She dared let out a purring noise in response.
"Good."

They sit on the ledge of the Dragon Temple, looking at the stars, resting on one another. Zekrom supported himself by his arms planted firmly where he was sitting - his counterpart lying against him. She sighed, feeling a sensation of calmness settle upon her. She was happy. Pure happiness - as was Zekrom, who occasionally nuzzled the side of her face.
"Zekrom?" She spoke in a hushed tone.
"Yes?"
"I'll promise to never let human motives control me again if you do." She said, smiling up at him. He smiled back, and then leaned down, nuzzling her maw, making her blush.
"I swear it."
"Ok." Reshiram sighed, nuzzling him back.
They stayed like this until the Dragoness began to drift off to sleep - Zekrom shortly following.
They were happy with each other, finally.

Sorry for the long wait. Hope this fluffy chapter makes up for it.
