Author's Note: Well people, I actually managed to get a chapter out unusually quickly this time, though i still think it deserves a slow updating tag, but not a HIATUS tag anymore.

I hope this is the start of the answer to some the reviews Ive been getting to, don't worry its coming.

Disclaimer: The Harry Potter universe belongs to JK Rowling, I am merely writing a fanfiction for that universe, i hold no rights to it.

I'm going to let you enjoy the chapter, but i do want to know if you get the reference that is within this chapter... and if so remember to tell me what and from where in your review.

Enjoy!

Goblin forging Magical research

Enchanting forging Muggle history

Care of magical creatures

And many more.

The amount of subjects you coulsd take seemed inpossible... that was untill she read the text at the bottom of the paper-roll with all of them on it.

Only the basic ones are tought for the first round at Beauxbatons. all other subjects are avalable for learning during separate rounds after basic education is done. They can be taken at any time, and if you can make an apointment with the headmistress/headmaster if you have a gift or some other reason to start one of the educations early.

The basic/obligatory curriculum consists of the following:

Badic Magical history.

Charms

DADA

Basic DA (Dark Arts, mostly theory)

Transfiguration (fourth year and up: includes animagus transformation classes.)

Ancient runes and languages, some magical.

Language pack: Fourth year artificial implantation of most languages of the world for those who wish.

Care for magical creatures.

Magical etiquette.

Muggle history.

Muggle etiquette.

Muggle Modern World.

Potions basics

Potions.

Divination (only if you posess the gift.)

Reprimand course (if needed.)

The ammount of courses that were obligatory were still daunting. Luckily many of them were periodical and would only be tought during ceretan periods of the tenure.

However she had a lot of help from her friends, and the teachers had pulled her out of the classes she wasnt already in, and instead listed personall lessons to catch her up on them in the evnings. When the potions teachers had herd who her previous teacher had been she had been taken out of that aswell and put into the basic potions class to actually start learning potions.

Her teachers explained that though it would be hard for the first couple months they believed that she would be able to catch up with the rest. And if Ginny was hones with herself she was enjoying it!

The transfiguration teacher was a shock to say the least. It turned out to be the previous deputy headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Professor McGonagall. When Ginny had asked her why she changed her job the woman had replied that she had family nearby and now that the job was available she had taken it. She also said something about Dumbledore being something but Ginny didn't hear what. Also it was something about finally being able to teach the entire curriculum and animagi to the students. And something about the bigoted British ministry, and community.

A whole lot of reasons.

The potions teacher had been a woman who went by LiRoe, and was the polar opposite of Snape. She made sure her students knew what was needed before even naming what they were going to brew, was always attentive and helpful.

Care for magical creatures and Basic Dark Arts were from fifth year and up.

Ginny did not have a gift for divination.

Languages would be at the end of the year, and she had already started to think about what she wanted to learn. Muggle Modern World and Etiquette was also taught at the end of the year.

Muggle history, was not just history but also the basic way of muggles, and surprisingly the teacher was a muggle by the name of Richard Tomson. A muggle from the USA.

Ginny was starting to notice a trend in the teachers being kind and helpful, but also strict.

DADA was taught by another teacher Ginny knew. Remus Lupin, who she learned actually was from the area originally, but that his family had moved to Britain just before the war broke out. and thus when it broke out they had not afforded to move back.

Magical history was taught by a wizard named Peter for the more recent parts, while the more ancient parts were taught by two ghosts who had focused solely on that history. so the history was actually quite detailed, and thus exciting. The added bonus of course was that the ghosts had been there for many of the events, and gotten the true accounts for most of the others. So it was true history, and those that weren't they warned that wernt.

Charms was taught by a quarter Dark Elf, quarter Goblin, quarter Human and quarter Demon. Ginny had been shocked at first over the races, but it quickly dissapated over excitement as they were learning the patronus charm.

Ancient runes and languages was taught by a Goblin rune and ward master and a High elf with a history as a French envoy that had been to almost if not all the different communities of the world. She was understandably quite old. The class had two female teachers.

And then there was an extra class that all new arrivals were in witch taught about the different magical races and how they truly were. Not some bigoted view. Most of Britain could have needed this course Ginny felt. She had also received a gift from the teacher, a centurion druid, witch was a potion. He had told her that she could send that to her family, and when they drank it the whole course would play for them in the span of an hour. It was only for special cases as it cost to create, and it only let them remember the lessons when needed instead of all the time. But for students that came from Britain it was a requirement. It only needed a spoon-full per person, and had just enough for all of her family.

The whole week hat to be honest been quite shocking, and it had gone faster than she could imagine. It had been exciting to say the least. It was almost too much to comprehend.

That day when she had come to the common room before breakfast, to wait for her friends, there had been a notice on the message board located at the end of the room. the room itself looked more like a cozy cottage in shape than anything, with a large corner fireplace, with a sitting-group of some cozy sofas, and some wicker chairs. the rest was set up in cozy study areas with paths to walk between. It all screamed coziness and content. hanging at the end of the main path was the message board.

From what Ginny had heard the same design was for all the different common rooms, though she hadn't heard anything about those in the mated quarters. But back to the note. It stated that in a couple weeks there would be one lesson in Care of Magical creatures in order for the new arrivals to get to know a bit about the grounds and the life that lived there in different ways.

The best part of the day for Ginny was that everything was so new. She basically had to relearn every social notion she had acquired from living in the worlds most bigoted magical community.

On her third day there she had accompanied her new friends down to breakfast, with them deciding to sit with her that day. And while there a boy and girl their age came over to them. It turned out that they were Seras Dornez and Walter Victorin, two vampires who had bonded with each other the year before last. And that this was their first chance to catch up with their friends, who happened to be Ginny's friends.

It was at that point it really went up for Ginny just how different it was here. At home vampires were portrayed as bloodthirsty demons so foul that not even hell would house them, with only werewolves and dementors being worse. Here they were normal sentient beings, with their own emotions desires and more. And she liked it. It was also at that time it really started to go up for her that she herself was considered a creature in Britain and that if it had not been for her apparent ancestral family being so old that Gringotts watched over it, Dumbledore, and that the Veela nation was so powerful she would be treated like a creature in Britain too.

It was a sobering thought, and it truly showed magical Britain for what it was.

She was just on her way from breakfast to the cozy study for her next Veela lesson when she turned a corner and stumbled over a wolf that just jumped out of the corner, about to barrel down the corridor she had come from. They both stumbled in a heap to the middle of the corridor where they rolled to a stop. Raising her head, holding it and trying to clear the daze of the fall Ginny looked at the wolf. It was large, when standing it would be standing at least half her size. It was clear that it was a dire wolf, but it was completely black. Its shadows seemed to dance around him, never saying in their intended shape. But the weirdest thing about it was that on its back a pair of onyx black wings resided. With a gasp Ginny understood what the wolf was, it was a royal shadow wolf. Then it opened its eyes, looking dazed. Emerald Green eyes looked into hers, and time seemed to freeze.

Harry Potter, now turned fourteen, was late for class. He had awoke early stop by the library for some books, where he had found an interesting book on wandless magic. He had missed breakfast and class was starting when he noticed the time. He panicked. Seeing no other way Harry did something he normally only did in the weekends and on the grounds to have some fun, at least while at school.

A couple years ago his sister had told him that she had started animagus lessons in transfiguration that year. Harry knew he would start in in a couple years himself but to be quite honest the thought of his sister being able to do it before him did not sit right with him. He guessed it had to be sibling rivalry. And so he had borrowed her books, copying them with a charm when she was not looking, and written to his mother for some additional material. She had referred him to his great grandmother Apolline Isabelle Delacour, who in turn had sent him a tiny book and a potion with a note to make the reveal to his sister grand, and to send a letter with the results.

He always liked his great grandmother, very fond of a good prank here and there but serious when needed. Not what you would expect from someone on the Veela counsel. And so he had read the books and started.

The first thing he did was meditate, the thing about Veelas is that they in reality have two magical cores, normally these are somewhat separate. One for the human magic and one for the Veela magic. Of course these energies could be used to whatever he knew, but the cores were more effective with certain kinds of magic. Like the Veela core being better for fire and air magic, while the wizard one was quite general. In order to find ones animagus form the cores needed to be almost completely combined, in other words as connected as possible. That is where the first shock had happened. It turned out Harry had four, in his minds eye the azure blue orb of his own magic resided, with lightning shooting within it. Then there was the fiery orb of his Veela magic. Then there was a strange multi-colored orb that shifted its markings, colors and shape constantly. And the last one was a stormy orb of black witch seemed to be made of the darkness itself and shadow, but it did not feel evil at all.

Harry had been in his mind before, when doing Occulemency. While building his mind-scape he had set the glowing ring representing the entrance to where his magical cores were out in the open and added a fake one behind heavy protections. When he had it tested it had worked out like a charm. But he had also found something else there, there had been something infesting his mind-scape, some vile entity. It had taken some time and help from the elders but he had managed to seal it away on an island in the infinite void that represented one of his main means of defense. He had made the island so that unless he wished to go too it, then it would always remain far away from any entity in the void. After that he had started with the rest of his mind-scape. Even when he was done with it he had never looked at his magical cores, he had after all believed to know of them already. So the two other cores had been a surprise.

He had gotten one thing out of it though; he had a magical animal for animagus form. It was the only logical conclusion. On the bright side that made finding his specific animagus animal easier. And so he had taken the potion, which put him into a trance of stalking though the thick undergrowth of pine trees overhead and the same but with everything being shadowed in colors of black and gray. The last thing he had seen was the blurry visage of a wolf head in a pool of water.

And then he had started reading up on magical wolves, trying to find one that would work for him. It had taken over two months but he was able to find the animal, then he started to meditate again, imagining himself as the animal. A further month of work had resulted in his first transformation, and by the end of the year he had mastered the transformation. To this day he had yet to find out what the other core was for but he had put it to the back of his mind after a while.

And so he put his schoolbag into a dimensional pocket he had found a spell for in an old school book, and transformed into a black wolf the size of a dire wolf, with black wings. He bound towards the nearest shadow-cast bookcase and leaped though its shadow. Traversing a path through the non-solid world of the shadow realm he appeared at the end of one of the corridors close to the nearest door that lead to where he had his next class. Only to bound right into someone he had missed seeing since he hadn't slowed his run when he came out the shadow and into the hall.

Shaking his head to clear the stars dancing in his vision from the roll they had gone into. Looking up towards whoever he had bowled into he was met with brown eyes, brown eyes dancing with the most beautiful hidden fire. Transforming back to human form, intending to apologise, he felt a hand touch his face just as the transformation start.

Ginny had reached out to touch the wolfs snout, just as it started to change. And when she touched it everything seemed to go white and they were gone from the mortal world.

Author's Note: That is another chapter done, were starting too get in touch with Harry again. Next chapter will most likely be mostly from his view, but may have some from Ginny and from one other char I'm contemplating on adding as well, and don't worry i will not be altering previous chapter to make him/her fitt, i wont have to if my thoughts are correct.

Till next time.
