Sorry. Guess who has not been on her for a year and a bit. Sorry for not updating you'll and leaving you'll on a cliffhanger. Also thank you
octaviapaz for adding me to your author alert because without that alert I would not be updating now. Enjoy.
Céline dragged her dainty, pale feet up the marble flooring. Each step Remy took, was another the she-wolf took too. At times, Céline wanted Elsa's energy. Ahead of both Remy and Céline, Elsa was gliding across the tiles, with a wide grin plastered on her face. The bottom of Elsa's white socks were collecting dust, each stride she took. Elsa obviously knew the direction they were headed, which made Céline feel queasy. However, the tightness in Céline's stomach was growing, due to her increasing hunger for anything. But before Céline could listen to the wrath of her stomach, Remy's words started filling her ears.
"Everyone is eager to meet you. They have never seen your kind before. You totally kicked butt on the battlefield. Biting and barking back." Remy stopped mid step and started punching the air with her fists, "You have amazing skills, you will definitely give Aiden a run for his money."
"I still don't understand why I'm really doing this? Why have me do this battle, if you will call it that, with Aiden in the first place? What was Alex even thinking?" Céline sighs.
Remy stared blankly at the ceiling, as Céline waited for an answer. After what seemed like an eternity for Céline, Remy slowly pulled her head down to Céline's eye level. "I don't know the reason for Aiden accepting his proposal, Alex probably forced him into it." Remy mumbled, "However, I know Alex's reason. Alex wants you two to stay, and Alex wanted Aiden to see that. In fact, come to think of it, Alex is one of the few that can talk sense into him." She shrugs, "Anyways, you could say that Alex has warmed up to your little sister while, you were knocked out cold."
Céline's ears perked up, as she momentarily realised, "What day is it?"
"Umm… Monday?" Remy spoke with a dubious reply.
"I've been unconscious for 48 hours!"
Céline's outburst caused Elsa to glide back to the two teens. Elsa paused beside her sister and hugged her from the legs down. The she-wolf gazed down at her younger sibling and rubbed her head.
"Well… in truth, you had a lot of broken bones and torn ligaments. I'm surprised you can walk at all." Remy conveys, rocking back and forth on her heels.
Céline crouched to Elsa's height, covering her ears while, turning towards Remy. "Were my injuries that bad."
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Remy motioned to Elsa.
"Elsa isn't a fully-grown wolf yet, she won't be able to hear us. She's still incapable of super-healing and super-hearing." Céline implied. She then shot Remy a 'get on with it' look.
"Well... I don't know every injury however, I know the main ones that could have killed you. Actually, all of them would have killed you if you weren't part wolf." She shakes her head to get rid of her babble, "Anyways, you had; a twisted knee cap, fractured skins, 6 broken ribs, oesophageal rapture and… you also lost a lot of blood."
When the frustration builds, I think I might explode - I take a deep breath. I want to shout, have a tantrum and beat my hands on the ground like a toddler. I want to vent, let it out, but I don't want to say words I don't mean. So, I wearily say, "Thank you Remy." I rub Elsa's head for the second time and bounce back up, "So, where are we heading?"
"I thought we could stop off at the kitchen first. I'm in the mood for my spaghet." Remy beams while toddling down the corridor. Remy moved like her knees were just hinges, wobbling to and fro, like an infant learning to first walk.
"What's spaghett?" Elsa innocently questions.
"I think she means spaghetti."
"She could have just said, I'm in the mood for spaghetti. Teenagers are weird." Elsa mumbles bitterly.
Céline sucks in a breath, "Just let it go."
"Come on you two, we haven't got all day." Remy shouts.
"Go get your spaghett." Elsa taunts.
"Elsa!" Céline sternly says.
"We're coming!" Elsa marches off, leaving Céline to shake her head in disbelief.
"Little siblings huh, always so cheeky." Céline spins on her heels to find Alex chuckling to himself.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Alex. What do I owe this pleasure, come to pester me with more questions?" Céline retaliates.
"Again, I'm really sorry, I was in no position to ask you those questions, and you have every right to be angry at me. It's none of my business, so I'm sorry for intruding." Alex shuffled closer to Céline, at the same time, avoiding possible eye contact. Alex knew he'd done something pretty awful to cause pain to someone he had only just met.
Céline could feel the guilt radiating off of Alex. One second passed. Two seconds passed. Three seconds passed. The guilt was eating and pestering him. Regret washed over him like the long slow waves on a shallow beach. Each wave was icy cold and sent shivers down his spine. He longed to go back and take a different path, but now that was impossible. There was no way back. There was no way to make it right. The remorse would eat at him every day, if Céline didn't accept his apology.
Céline awkwardly adjusted her stance and leaned on her right foot, "I don't think… I don't believe you were intruding, if anything you were curious. You were just trying to understand Elsa and I. You obviously deeply care for my sister, so I can understand why you asked her. But for future references, don't pester her with those types of personal question. She's only a kid."
Alex nods, "Are you still angry at me?"
Céline sighs, "I'm not one to hold grudges over silly things. So, I accept your apology but please…" Before Céline had time to finish her sentence, Alex swarmed her in his arms. The hug was a simple enough gesture but perhaps, it was the fragile beginning of an everlasting friendship. "Can't… breath..." She squeezed out.
"Right, sorry." He released Céline and stepped back. "You should go join your sister, she has missed you very much."
"Umm…" Céline spins back around, "I have no idea where they went."
"It's fine, I'll show you where the kitchen is."
"Great because I am starving."
Aiden's Point of View
"It's about time you showed up. Here I thought you forgot about the two laps." Heron debates while pushing himself off the wall.
"I promised you that I would run the laps because of the Hamilton references." Aiden eye rolls, as he jogs down the remaining steps. "And I'm sorry it took me two hours to get down here."
"How's the she-wolf going then? Did you sort out the feud with her?" Aiden and Heron trudged along the pavement at an expeditious pace, their footsteps echoing each step they took.
"I believe Céline and I are on good terms. But… I still don't understand why she apologised to me, she had done nothing wrong, I was the one that lashed out on her. Also, she was taken back when I said thank you. It was like she wasn't expecting a thank you or anything."
"Seems to me what you're describing is someone who is apologetic. It may be habitual for her to apologise for any small mistake. As for her not expecting the thank you, she obviously had done whatever it was out of the kindness of her own heart and expected nothing in return."
"I understand what you're saying Heron. But she saved my life and what was I going to do, kill her if it wasn't for Alex." Aiden falls back and jogs in sync with Heron.
"Aiden you're feeling guilty, it's a human emotion. Yes, you were going to put her out of her misery however, that's nothing to dwell over. If it makes you feel less guilty, maybe you should tell her." Heron implies.
"And what good will that do me? Hey Céline, I hope you can forgive me because on the night we rescued you, I tried to kill you instead. Because I thought you were going to die anyway and I wanted to end your death sooner rather than later. Saying that to her will make me feel less guilty." Aiden mumbles to himself.
"First of all, don't say it to her in that context because I will gladly assist her in killing you. Second of all, this problem you are having, is going to eat away at you."
"What problem, there is no problem." Aiden defensively claims.
"Whatever you say Aiden but mark my words, if you don't tell her, someone else might."
There was no softness in Heron's gaze. It was a look that conveyed a bubbling hatred. Disgust perhaps. Staring isn't quite the word for what Heron does. His eyes rest, not unblinking but slowed; yet the effect is harsh. Perhaps it is his lips that give away his intention, not quite smiling but tilting as if they mean to.
"I also heard that Alex is making you challenge Céline in a duel. How's that working out for you?"
"What do you mean by 'how's that working out for you?' " Aiden mocks.
"You obviously don't know a sarcastic remark when you hear one."
"That's not what I meant, Heron."
Céline's Point of View
I walk into the kitchen with Alex. Immediately, I hear sounds, whispering in my right frontal lobe - faint, muffled voices coming from the refrigerator.
"But I demand my ice-cream. I need the vanilla. The ultimate flavour of ice cream! It has this basic flavour which you are almost always in the mood for." Elsa squabbles.
"Easy there tiger, you have to ask your sister." Remy answers.
"It's all good Remy, give her what she wants." Céline gestures to her new associate.
"Hey, Céline would you like me to make a sandwich for you?" Alex interrupts, "You must be hungry."
"Sûr. I don't mind." My stomach growled, and I squirmed in my seat to try and silence the rumbling. I glanced at the clock; 1:25pm. I glace at my sister to see a Cheshire grin lit up on her face, as she watched Remy scoop the ice-cream into a cone. Once Elsa received the ice-cream, she quickly licked the ice-cream to the right. Since, it had begun to slump precariously to one side, and there was nothing worse than losing an entire scoop to the death trap below her- the floor. Elsa's smile shined like the stars in the sky, with no bright city lights to dim them. It was like the sun opened its eager light to shine upon her, only brightening her perfectly aligned teeth. The corners of Céline's mouth lifted up into a smile. It pleased Céline to see Elsa happy and smiling.
"Here's your sandwich Céline." Céline turned to face Alex, but instead she was greeted by a sandwich. It was like some kind of Scooby-doo sandwich. The filling was layers of cheese and ham with lettuce and tomato. Oozing from the sides with copious amounts of mayonnaise. It looked like you'd need to squish it, or else you'd need to dislocate your jaw like a snake. However, Céline was hungry, and nothing was going to stop her.
If Céline could have opened her mouth any wider she would have eaten the sandwich whole. As it was, Céline took off a quarter in one massive chomp of her gnashes. Then she crunched it up with her mouth opening every time she chewed, treating the other three people in the room to a view of the partially masticated food. Luckily, they were busy squabbling over which ice-cream flavour was better.
"Chocolate is by far the best, it has the perfect texture and density." Remy debates.
Elsa shakes her head with disbelief, "Chocolate is by far the worst. First, chocolate ice cream is bad because it is addictive and can lead to obesity. And once someone is obese, it leads to a slew of medical problems and deteriorating self-image. Second, not all chocolate ice cream, in fact most of it isn't, made with real chocolate. Therefore, it is comprised primarily of sugar and syrup and is bad for you." Elsa grins, like she is the smartest person on Earth, "That's what my sister told me."
Céline didn't have to look up from her sandwich, to see, all 6 eyes had been glued on her.
"Céline, what ice-cream flavour do you like the best?" Elsa asks her older sibling.
Céline looked up from her sandwich, "I wish to not part take in this argument. Thank you for the sandwich Alex." Céline's words come out as a muffle while, trying to change the conversation.
"It's not lady like to talk with your mouthful." Alex remarks.
Céline gulped down her bit of sandwich, "Then it's a good thing I'm not a lady."
Alex and Remy chuckle at Céline's humour.
"But seriously, what's your favourite flavour?" Remy intervenes.
Céline eyerolls, "Fine, it's Neapolitan. By far the smartest option, if you want 3 different ice-cream flavours in one tub. Saves you from having to buy three different tubs of ice-cream."
"You make a valid point, Céline. However, vanilla is never a letdown and is always a classic." Alex suggests.
Céline shrugs and goes back to eating her sandwich.
"Somebodya toucha me spaghett!" Remy exclaims, while trying to pull off an Italian accent.
Céline watched Remy take out a plate of spaghetti and shoved it into the microwave with aggravation. Why. I am unsure. She sets the microwave to four minutes and leans on the kitchen bench. Two minutes had gone by, and little flicks of tomato paste had been flying around the microwave. Céline's had her fair share of microwave explosions and knows when something is going to go kaboom.
"Remy, I think you should probably put a cover on that pasta."
"Non-sense, my spaghett is almost ready." Remy flicks her hand and turn her head to the opposite direction. A blinding red flash came from the point where the heat became too much for the pasta to endure and exploded then and there. Remy jogged two steps over to the microwave and opened it to find the inside caked with sauce and pasta.
Céline chuckled to herself while, contemplating whether to say something or not.
"Aren't you a dogmatic person Céline." Remy snickers.
Céline frowned with disbelief as she glared at Remy, "I take that with great offense Remy. You can make any weapon out of any items, like bombs, guns, swords and break-in equipment. But you can't microwave something without making a mess. I'd rather be called a know-it rather than something that has the word dog in it. Plus, I merely assumed it." Céline shrugs as she continues to eat what's left of her sandwich.
Remy mutters to herself, as she harshly grabbed the sponge, and stomped back to the microwave. Remy's eyes were filled with utter rage, cursing not-so-quietly in Portuguese. I couldn't understand her words and could only know they were curse words for the taut tone of her voice, because the words sounded strangely melodic. They were sweet but venomous, like cupcakes sprinkled with poison.
The noises engulfed Céline, completely capturing her brain, rendering any logical thought or conclusion possible. The noises were too loud to understand them- it was like tapping- no- fast paced stepping. Céline didn't have to guess long, as two figures walked into the room. One familiar figure and the another who was unidentifiable to her.
Céline's eyes travelled to Aiden, as if just noticing him for the first time. She noticed the way his eyebrows raised a centimetre or two, lined with something between worry and concern. His eyes, his eyes they twinkled in amusement as if he had just found out something amusing. They shone like diamonds and turned into million shades of it blue, as the sunlight from the open windows reflected off them. His eyes were like the sea. Warm and oh so pulchritudinous. My eyes however, were just dull and clear no so blue as his.
Aiden finally noticed Céline and gave a short wave however, that was quickly repelled when Céline looked somewhere else- anywhere but on Aiden.
"Ooh burn!" Remy yells from behind Céline, which caused Céline to shift a little, not trying to give away any weakness.
Céline looked up one last time, to see Aiden change facial expressions from jubilant and zealous to monotone and emotionless.
Aiden frowned at Remy, "You're about to be toast if you don't hurry up and clean that microwave. You should know better to put a cover on that.
"Yeah yeah, cap-i-tain (Pronunciation: cap-e-tarn- my teacher used to say it) I already got grilled by the wolf in sheep's clothing." Remy announced. Céline sighed a little too loudly, which caught the attention of practically everyone who knew what the saying meant. The people in the room didn't need a sixth sense to know that the atmosphere just shifted. Elsa wasn't affected and didn't pick up on the mood setting. However, every figure was waiting to see if Céline would flip. However, she was too slow, and someone beat her too it.
"Remy outside now!"
Alex, Elsa, freaky bird guy- that I think Alex told me was Heron and I, watched in dismay as Aiden almost lost it. As a hormonal teenager would, Remy threw the cleaning equipment down and marched outside with Aiden, as he shut the door with a slow but harsh slam.
Céline had enough of her sandwich and pushed it back slightly while slouching in her chair. Anger is a silent huntress looming in the night, ready to strike when you least expect it. She hovers over you like morning fog, clouding your judgment. She deceives you whenever she wills. You see a threat and she sees game. One moment it's there and the next it's gone. Then the cacophony erupts outside the kitchen and everyone's heads snap in the direction. Ever since Céline got here, she had been causing problems left and right.
Words flew from Aiden's mouth that made the whole room shiver by the tone of his voice, even though there was a wall separating in here from out there. His temper was like TNT, once the sparks started to sizzle there was very little time to take cover. Céline knew she should just stay quiet or otherwise she would make everything else even worst. After all, the two associates were fighting over what had been said about Céline.
"How dare you talk to our guest in that manner, that was not necessary at all Remy Holland?"
"It was a harmless joke, come on you are over reacting." Remy scoffs.
"Come on… come on! Are you kidding me right now, not only are you disrespecting Céline but also me- your captain. Céline is harmless, she did nothing wrong, and if you have a problem with her you come and talk to me, not blurt it out in front of half our team as well as her sister." Aiden exhaled sharply.
Remy's eyes tighten as she squinted at Aiden, "Fine, I do have a problem with her. I don't get why she's here, she's a pest-ridden jackal and she doesn't belong here. I have tried to be nice, but I can't take any more. Aaron is freaked out and so am I. You need to get rid of her." Remy exclaims in panic.
Aiden shakes his head in disbelief, "The only person I need to get rid of is you. Remy, I think you should take a break from the mansion for a while…"
"What, this is outrageous, you can't be serious!"
"After that week is up you are able to come back and train with us. Hopefully by then, you will grow some decent manners and learn respect."
Céline was sitting at the table with her arms resting on the table. She was white as chalk. Her eyes and her mouth were frozen in an expression of stunned surprise, and although she thought Aiden was scary she never thought he would do that. Céline waited in anticipation if Aiden would come inside however, the last thing Céline heard were the footsteps of two people going in separate direction.
Silence gnawed at Céline's insides. Silence hung in the air like the suspended moment before a falling glass shatters on the ground. The silence was like a gaping void, needing to be filled with sounds, words, anything. The silence was poisonous in its nothingness, cruelly underscoring how vapid their conversation had become. The silence was eerily unnatural, like a dawn devoid of birdsong. Silence clung to them like a poisonous cloud that at any moment could choke the life from them. Nobody knew what to say, not even Elsa. Céline was destroying this family because of who she is and what she caused.
Everywhere I go causes some kind of chaos. Enough will the negativity, it's not your problem, it's theirs. Willow murmured in the back of Céline's mind. They just don't know you yet. They are not even willing to give me a chance, what am I meant to do? Just have patience.
Alex coughed with unease as he tried to lighten the mood, "So, anyway… Céline this is Heron. Reserved but very wise, like... Gandalf, Yoda, Dumbledore and all those old characters in movies."
"Hey! I'm 18 not bloody 180, I'm only 2 years younger than you." Heron puts forth.
"It's only a matter of time Heron." Alex retaliates.
"I'm sure you would love to hear us bicker more Céline, but I think we all have had enough verbal fighting for today." Heron suggests, "After all, you have a battle to win and we can't throw you off your game."
"After what just went down outside, am I still doing this?" Céline erupts in dismay, "It doesn't make sense."
Heron shrugs and takes a seat next to Céline, "Actually to be fair, Remy's the thing that's not making sense. It's not like her to have spontaneous outbursts caused by her power…"
"We call it SOCBP for short." Alex adds, "SOCBP sometimes happens to us as well, it's a side effect we all have."
"…She usually loves talking to new people around her age. She'll apologise and come around sooner than you would think. Aiden just lost it and went wild, he's probably stressed with all the new jobs he's taking on board, amongst other things." Heron sighs.
"What do you mean by other things?" Céline questions.
Alex shoots Heron a quick shake of the head.
"Look if you two won't say anything sorry I asked." Céline defensively claims.
"Maybe it's time to head to the training room. It's where the battle will take place. But… but that's only if you want to do it, no one is forcing you?" Heron implies.
"No, no its okay, I already said I would do it. I need to follow through on my promise to Remy, even though her 'joke' was quite personal." Céline nods, "I'm sure Remy's a good kid, she just made a mistake."
"Alrighty. I'm sure Alex would be delighted to stay here with Elsa while I show you to the training room." Heron informs Alex.
Elsa recites twice, "Good luck Sœur."
"See you around Céline." Alex winks at Céline.
"Don't be so certain, Smurf." Heron mouth escapes a quick chuckle as the illusionist and wolf walk out the door.
A long and uncomfortable walk later, the two associates came across the training room and entered.
"In short the weapons are on the right-hand side and the training space is on the left. The red lines represent the outline of the ring, where we have duals and fights."
The room is uncomfortably large. The floor is made of a foam material while, the walls are made of brick but over coated with creamy white paint that looks tacky. There are multiple windows on every wall however, the largest one is across Heron and myself. The window is so large it reminds me of a store-front. The window is triple-glazed and so clear that the panorama is like a high definition screen at the movie theatre. As Céline takes in more of the features, she notices the collection of weapons. As Céline scanned the room, this place had everything from; swords, to sais, to bow and arrows, nun chucks, sniper rifles, guns and even ninja stars which is questionable. Nonetheless, they had a wide range of weapons which was quite daunting to Céline. It was like these guys would be prepared for any war.
"I'm sure your overwhelmed by all this," Heron gestures, "But you honestly have nothing to fear, you're going to be great."
"I would not be so Sûr." Céline replies, "The battles I usually fight, end up with someone dead, and I don't wish to kill someone who I only just saved."
"What makes you so sure you're going to kill someone?"
"I can't control what I am, it takes over and I can't stop."
"Hey," Heron stopped walking and turned to face Céline, "You need to be a little optimistic about this situation. You need to have faith in yourself and in Willow's."
Faith - mine floated away from me a very long time ago, like a leaf being pulled away on the tide, and into the sea to become lost and alone. But Heron- this new associate of mine was right, if I was going to do this I would have to control my and Willow's anger in a matter of minutes.
My thoughts were interrupted by the creaking of the heavy wooden doors. It opened slowly, revealing Aiden who showed no expression on his face in greeting us. Leaning against the door, delicate blonde hairs fell onto his brow, skin so pale it rendered him stark against the dreary morn. He was angelic, yet his eyes bore a hard expression, a warning of what was to come.
"Are you ready Céline?" His voice had a husky drawl. He seldom smiles with his lips, but it is his eyes that shine instead.
"Yeah, ready as I'll ever be."
Céline starts with one foot forward and one foot back. There's a crowd gathering outside the large cinema window to my right. The muffle voices whispering words of encouragement, dissuade and worry. Céline looks over to Aiden, who shows no fear or doubt about the upcoming battle. He knew how to keep a poker face that's for sure. However, it was his loud heartbeat, Céline could hear from the other side of the room, that gave away his true sensation.
Before Céline could process anything any further, Aiden takes a swing at her face and luckily, she flinches back, so that Aiden's fist does not contact with Céline's face. I didn't know what came over Aiden, but it was almost a natural instinct for him to throw the first punch. I guess now it's started, thanks for the warning Aiden.
Aiden's Point of View
I don't know what came over me, it was a sudden gush of energy that make me throw the first punch. Suddenly, my fist was flying towards her face but thankfully she dodged out of the way. I backed up for a brief second to catch my breath before diving back in with my, eyes narrowed in determination.
I dodged her fist and came up with my own; for a brief instant, her cerulean blue eyes widened before she managed to tilt her head back and slam it into mine. Stars burst in my vision, but I shook it off, blinding throwing a sloppy kick. She stepped back, easily evading the kick.
"Is that all you got?" she crowed, smirking infuriatingly at me. I growled and threw myself at her, changing direction at the last minute. My blood hummed in my veins as determination and anger took over.
There is blood on Céline's knuckles and a bruise above her right eye. But before Aiden could count anymore injuries, he watched in dismay as Céline's bruise began to disappear in a blink of an eye among other injuries. Aiden was frozen to the spot; thus Céline took that as an opportunity to strike. A sudden gush of pain jolted throughout Aiden's body. His stomach ached, his arms lost tension and his legs began to weaken.
I could feel the sweat drench my skin, the throbbing of my own eyes, the ringing screams vibrating in my ears, and the thumping of my heart against my chest. My fingers are curled into a fist, nails digging into my palm. I can't hear my rapid breathing, but I can feel the oxygen flooding in and out of my lungs. But Aiden wasn't done yet.
Céline's Point of View
Hesitantly, Céline's eyes looked at Aiden and she knew she had to stop. Céline backed up a bit. However, he threw his body weight behind the fist that edged closer to my face, it hit my jaw with such force blood pooled into my mouth. Pain erupted from the point of impact. With my own two hands I grasped his head in my hands and brought my knee cap up to his nose, there was a blunt crack and I released his light-haired head.
Crimson leaked from both his nostrils and his nose was twisted right. He drew his fist back again and it ploughed into my stomach, it was like hitting a train head on. My guts smashed together, blood vessels bursting. I repaid this by punching his jaw, my fish collided with all my body weight. I continued this battering until he fell to the floor. His chest gently rose and sank with each shallow breath he drew in. What have I done? I've gone too far this time.
Aiden's Point of View
Paralysed in fear, the scent of perturbation invaded the room. My terrorized feet refused to move and all my hands agreed to do was cover my frightened face. I've never wanted to be so safe in my life. I coughed. Immediately, my cough echoed with my cough constantly repeated, quieter every time through the dark and gloomy room.
"Are you right to stand?" Céline asks, "I'm so sorry."
I knew Céline was always quite the beauty but seeing her up close only reinforced that truth. She was of fair complexion, long black tresses covering most of her face. She had the kindest pair of blue eyes trimmed by long gorgeous lashes. Lovely eyes, yet somehow gentle, that always held a tiny warmth within them.
I couldn't find my voice. I felt my cheeks flushed hot due to the embarrassment of losing, and my stomach was heavy. My heart pounded in my throat, threatening to break out. My eyes wandered around the crowd that creeped into the room. Too many people he thought.
"Aiden, can you stand." Céline's voice firm with command, as she crouched beside him.
"Yeah." Was all Aiden could squeeze out of his chest.
"Something is very wrong with his breathing," Chao suggests, "Perhaps you could take him back to your laboratory Charlotte?"
"That won't be necessary, I'm fine." Aiden grunts.
"Stop lying, anyone can see that you're not alright." Charlotte states, "Jaime can you teleport Aiden to my lab?"
"I don't know, can I?" Jaime mumbles whilst, leaning on the wall.
"Just do as she says." Alex spat.
With a flick of her hair and then her wrist, Jaime, Charlotte and Aiden vanished, literally, into thin air.
