A/N: So this was going to be put out last Thursday until I got the plague and diedve spent the majority of this week sleeping wail the flu completely fucked me over, I finally got this finished.

The drive to the Ramsey's was nerve wracking to say the least. Michael had no idea what he was going to say to the brit, or how he would react to him being there instead of Geoff. He wasn't sure if Gavin knew that he knew what happened, or if he would even want him to. After all, he had gone for so long hiding it from them.

At first, he had almost been offended that Gavin didn't tell him. They were best friends, team Nice Dynamite. Did Gavin not trust him? But at the same time, he understood why he hid it. If it were him, he probably would have done the same thing.

Michael pulled into their drive way and took a deep breath before he stepped out of the car with his backpack slung over his shoulder. The wooden gate which lead to the backyard gave a loud whine as it was opened, then clicked shut behind him with a loud clunk. He Made his way towards the converted garage that Gavin lived in and knocked on the door three times. It took a few seconds, but Michael was greeted by a very tired looking Gavin.

"Mi-cool?" He slurred, his voice still obviously laced with sleep.

"Hey. Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up. Geoff sent me over to check on you." He paused for a minuet; taking in Gavin's disheveled appearance. He was wearing a pair of sweat pants and what looked like a hastily pulled on hoodie. He could see a few scabbed over scratches of his forehead that his hair wasn't quite covering, but he wasn't about to say anything about it. His eyes lacked the usual light they held and he seemed more hunched over than normal. "He said you weren't feeling well."

Gavin gave him a small, half smile and opened the door to let him in. "Yeah. Must've caught somethin'" He muttered wail he moved to joined Michael who was now making his way to the couch. He watched the Ginger carefully, thankful that he didn't seem to know. Or at least if he did, he wasn't showing it. He'd have to thank Geoffrey later for keeping it quiet.

The ginger had pulled off his backpack and was now rummaging around in it looking for something. "I grabbed a few games from the office. I figured…If you weren't feeling well, you may want something to take your mind off it." He said, letting him interpret 'it' however he wanted.

Gavin plopped down heavily next to Michael and looked over his shoulder into the bag. "What do you got?"

"Ugh, let's see. I have Assassin's Creed, GTA IV and V, Titianfall, Call of Duty, Dead Rising, and Arkham Knight" Michael said, pulling each game out of his bag as he read them off. "Pick your poison."

Gavin reached down and picked up the Call of Duty box and got up to start the game, handing Michael the extra controller on his way back. The two were instantly in the middle of the Nuke Town map. Zombies started to crowd around them from all angles and they were off.

"Team Nice Dynamite?" Michael asked holding out his fist.

Gavin smiled at him and Michael could have sworn he saw that glint in his eyes come back again. He hit Michael's fist with his own and nodded. Not two seconds later, Gavin was screaming.

"Michael!" He cried as he was downed within the first five seconds. His screen was covered in a red haze and the brit was making choking noises for emphasis.

"Jesus Christ Gavin." Michael laughed as he ran to revive him. "I got you boi." and Gavin was quickly up and fighting again.

"Go Michael! Go!"

"Run you idiot!"

"Ahh where are they? Where am I?!"

"Gavin!"

"Ballocks! Michael revive me!"

"I'm a little busy! Where's Ray when you need him?!"

"I got you!"

"Gavin don't throw a monkey bomb AT ME! THROW IT AWAY!"

"Run Michael!"

"God damn it Gavin!"

The two characters were shown on screen being eaten by zombies and boys were each making various dying noises wail simultaneously laughing. Normally Michael would be yelling at Gavin by this point for screwing them both over on the 12th wave, but Gavin was laughing and looked genuinely happy, so he wasn't about to fuck it up.

They both jumped when there was a knock on Gavin's door. The each looked at each other with questioning looks before it swung open.

"Hey dipshits." Geoff said as he walked over to them and squeezed himself on the couch, which wasn't that hard considering how close Michael and Gavin were sitting. Normally, he would have made some sort of 'sucking each other's dick' joke, but he chose to keep it to himself this time. Instead he looked over to the younger lad smiling at the grin plastered his face.

"How you feeling Gav?"

Gavin gave a silent nod in answer, not wanting to say anything in front of Michael.

"It's getting late, Griffion and I were going to go out to get something to eat. Wanna come?" He asked.

Michael looked over to Gavin letting him make the final decision. "Totally up to you Gavvers."

Gavin shrugged. Quite honestly, the idea of going out and being surrounded by a bunch of strangers wasn't the most settling thing in the world. "I don't know. I'm still pretty tired." He said quietly, his gaze not dropped to the controller in his lap. He felt bad for being uncomfortable. He felt bad for not wanting to go out. He felt bad for feeling bad. He bit his lip for a second before speaking again. "I think I'm just going to stay in tonight."

Both Michael and Geoff could see how visibly uncomfortable Gavin was, but Michael was the first to react. "Alright, fine by me. Do you wanna keep playing or do something else?"

Gavin shrugged again "Whatever you wanna do." He mumbled.

Geoff and Michael Looked at each other with concern. Gavin was trying to shut them out…again, and they couldn't let that happen.

"Griff and I will bring something back so you idiots don't starve." He said with fake enthusiasm. He stood and made his way to the door, sending Michael a look saying 'fix him' before he left.

Michael sighed as he watched the door shut. He took a deep breath before looking back at Gavin. He was still sitting with his legs crossed, his hands and eyes in his lap.

"You okay?" He asked after a moment of silence. His voice was soft and gave off a tone of understanding.

"Yeah. Just not feeling well again." Gavin said quietly. His hands were nervously twisting in his lap. He could feel Michael's eyes boring into him. He knew. He had to know. Michael wouldn't be treating him this nicely if he didn't. He had been treating him like glass all day, but Gavin hadn't put it all together until Geoff came in. Even though they thought he couldn't, he saw the way they looked at each other. Michael defiantly knew. The thought make Gavin feel physically sick, but he didn't let it show.

"Gavin-" Michael started, but he was quickly cut off.

"Geoff told you, didn't he," It wasn't a question.

Michael went silent, caught off guard. That was enough of an answer for the brit though.

Gavin bit his lip before speaking again. "I'm sorry. He wasn't so post to tell you."

"Gavin, don't be sorry. You're my boi, and I got your back, no matter what." Michael's voice was gentle. He chose his next words carefully, as to not upset him further. "You have nothing to be sorry for. I just wish you had told me. We all noticed something was up, we just had no idea how to help-"

Gavin's head snapped up to look at him. His eyes were wide, as if he were afraid of something. "The others don't know, do they?" He asked quickly.

"No. It's just Geoff, Griffon and I." Michael answered quickly before the brit panicked. "And they don't have to know if you don't want them too." He added.

Gavin shook his head wildly, silently begging him not to tell. His eyes started willing up with tears at the thought of it. He quickly covered his face with his hands out of embarrassment. The last thing he needed now was for Michael to see him crying. "I'm sorry." He said quietly as he tried to regain his composure. But Michael was having none of it. He gently wrapped his arms around the younger man and pulled him into his chest, rubbing circles on the small of his back in an attempt to calm him down when Gavin erupted into a crying mess.

"It's okay Gavin, I've got you."
