EL: Ugh... I feel so fat and lazy...
Sinbad: That's because you ARE fat and lazy.
EL: That's so mean!
Sinbad: I'm just telling the truth.
EL: *scoffs* Yeah right. *Turns to the crowd* This guy just bears a grudge against me because he hasn't been showing up in the story lately.
Sinbad: That's right. When am I?! I've waited patiently for 4 chapters!
EL: Five, actually.
Sinbad: Don't make it worse!
EL: *mutters to herself* Or is it six?
Sinbad *cries*
EL: *turns to crowd* I do not own Magi. At all.
Scheherazade opened her eyes. "Yunan."
He chuckled. "Scheherazade."
"What business do you have here today?"
"How cold..."
"Yunan."
"Alright, alright. I came here today to give you valuable information about someone from that place."
"... go on."
"I actually just found out about her too, so I don't have too much information about her."
"We're talking about a woman?"
"Yes."
"Was she an important person?"
"Yes, and she was really strong, too. In fact, if you and her went against each other in a one-on-one battle, you would definitely lose."
"Are you absolutely sure about that?"
"Yep!"
"Was she a djinn?"
"Nope!"
"A magi?"
"Nope! she wasn't a magician, either."
"Was she part of his household?"
"I don't know."
"Do you know who her family members were?"
"Nope!"
"Yunan..."
"What?"
"If that's all the information you've got, then you should've waited until you actually have enough to satisfy my questions."
"Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you something."
"What?"
"Today, I caught a fish!"
He held up medium-sized fish with silver, red, and purple scales. A scary aura surrounded Scheherazade.
Uh oh.
That was the day when the magi known as Yunan was thrown out of a building due to the magi Scheherazade's rage. He had barely managed to save himself from dying with his gravity magic.
Scheherazade glared daggers at a scared-looking Yunan out of a window. He fled. She sighed and looked at the flopping fish which he had dropped on the floor.
"I guess it is pretty..."
Now she looked across the table to meet Akari's eyes.
"You..." she began, "know about it, right?"
Akari nodded. "And you do, too."
"Not much, mostly just things that Yunan told me about."
"Oh. Yunan."
"You know him?"
"Yeah, but we haven't met in a few years."
"I see. So, do you know anything about a person who is strong enough to defeat me?"
Akari stiffened. "Th-there were a lot of people in Alma Torran who could've defeated you."
Scheherazade raised an eyebrow. "Yunan only gave me a bit of information, but according to him, the person was a female-" Akari clenched her hands tightly "- she wasn't a djinn-" Her hand nervously played with her hair "- and he said that she wasn't a magi." A strange look flickered in her eyes, but was soon replaced by a serious one.
"Are you sure that you want to know about her?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"I'm just curious."
Akari laughed loudly. "Fine. It's a strange story, though."
"Tell me about it."
"Well, you see... it all started off with..."
Scheherazade was left speechless.
"That's the story," Akari said, folding her hands and setting them on her knees.
"It's quite an interesting story..."
"Really? I think of it as strange."
"Should I tell Yunan about it?"
"Nah, he probably knows all about it by now. Don't tell anyone else, either."
"Have you told anyone else?"
"Yeah..."
"Who?"
"The magi Judal."
"Why him?"
Akari laughed again. "He's quite nice once you get to know him."
"I doubt that."
Sylvi was currently in big trouble. Serious trouble. One that she was stuck in- badly. She had no idea what to name her new pet lion!
As she rolled around on her bed in frustration, said lion watched her curiously. She stared back at it helplessly.
"What should I name you, big guy?" The lion merely licked its paw in response, not helping her at all.
Multiple names ran through her head- Breeze, Angel, Flower, Flowers, Honey, Baby, Cutie, Cutie Pie... her naming sense was HORRIBLE! She sighed and stared at an open window which had bright light streaming through it. She closed her eyes.
Light, huh?
Akari smiled sadly at Sylvi. "I'm sorry. But I told you that I would visit, right? So don't be sad."
Sylvi pouted adorably. "... whatever."
"By the way, have you named him?"
The thought of it seemed to brighten Sylvi. "Yeah! I named him Hikari!"
"Hikari... light... nice name!"
"Thanks. Are you sure you have to go?"
"Yep! Let's meet again!"
Akari yawned as she flew high up in the sky on her magic carpet.
Where should I go to search next... maybe the Sindrian Kingdom? No, it's too far away. The.. Kou Empire? Akari shuddered violently, terrible memories resurfacing. No, I don't think I'll ever go back there. Besides, it's too far away. I don't know... there aren't a lot of options for me at the moment.
Suddenly, a city appeared on the horizon. Akari squinted her eyes and saw men and women walking along the dirt roads. The city was teeming with life. She checked her map, which was marked with all kind of notes and routes.
According to this, the city up ahead is the Kingdom of Balbadd. Balbadd is a trading country... seems interesting. He might be there as well... plus it's close enough. Well, then it's decided.
And she sped up her carpet, heading straight for the kingdom.
Akari wiped sweat off of her forehead and rolled up her sleeves. It was so hot! Akari's shorts were okay in this weather, but not her LONG-SLEEVED SHIRT AND KNEE-HIGH BOOTS. She sighed.
I should get a blouse or something later... and slippers... she thought.
Spotting a loud commotion near a palace-like building, she rushed over. Two guards were blocking the entrance of the building so a nearly naked man could not get in. Said man was wearing a cloth over his, ahem, part and another cloth that was way too small for him as a jacket. He had purple hair.
Hey, where did I see that shade of purple? I believe it was... um... Sindria! Oh. That guy's...
Realization hit her in the face like a bucket if cold water. She pushed through the crowd, multiple thoughts surfacing in her head. Many including blood, daggers, swords, djinn equips, and explosions.
"Hey! King Sinbad!"
EL: I'm ending it here.
Kouen: ...
EL: Oh. He's here.
Judal: Hey, old hag! That was the worst ending ever!
EL: That's mean! Wait, how are you guys here?
Judal: I dunno. *chucks peach pit at EL*
EL: *dodges swiftly* I ace in dodgeball. *narrows her eyes* Akari! Sic 'im!
Akari: *walks in* What?
Kouen: *looks up from scroll he's reading and puts it down* Akari...
Akari: *pales* G-gotta go! *disappears*
Judal: *chucks another peach pit at EL*
EL: *gets hit in the head with peach pit* JUDAL...
Judal: *cackles and flies away* Old hag! Old hag! Old hag!
EL: *multiple veins pop*
Kouen: *stands up and glares at EL* Where did Akari go?
EL: *gulps and points in a random direction* Th-there.
Kouen: *rushes off in the pointed direction*
EL: Akari... good luck... *turns toward the crowd* If you would like to know the relationship between Kouen and Akari, please review and/or favorite. Until next time... *gets hit in the head with peach pit*
