My games? Hell no. His games and his pride. I heard screams and clenched my teeth together, knowing that Turles was terrorizing the people outside. I sat on the couch and massaged my temples.
"Sheila let's play outside. I'm tired of being in the house with all these guards." My little sister pouted.
"You know we're not supposed to be outside without a guard Shiuana." I told her.
"Come on..." she pulled on my dress. I looked down in her sage eyes and grinned.
"Fine." I smiled as I was pulled into the garden. Shiuana ran into the flowers and sat in the middle of them.
"I love being outside with you onee-chan." Shiuana told me as I joined her in the garden.
"Same here. We should come outside more often." At this her eyes sparkled.
"Really? That'd be great." We sat in the garden picking flowers and weaving them into crowns.
"Here." I told her, placing the red and white flower crown on her head. She giggled and placed her's on mine. It was yellow and white. Shiuana hugged me in the field of flowers and I hugged her back.
"It's time to come back in girls." I turned around to see my mother walking towards us. We quickly stood up to greet our mother.
"You knew we went outside?" Shiuana asked our mother who chuckled in response.
"Mothers know all."
"Are we in trouble?" I asked. My mother put her hand on my shoulder and shook her head.
"No. But don't do it again. It's time for your lessons now." At this Shiuana huffed. We went back inside the castle.
After that, everyday before lessons, we went out into the garden and came back in just in time. We always made different flower crowns and stored them in our room under our beds. I think my mother knew what we were doing and one day I saw her weaving one of her own in the garden.
I woke up to realize I was soaked. I glared at Turles who had a bucket in his hands.
"What the hell?!" I screamed at him. At this he smirked.
"I'm hungry. I tried to wake you up before but you wouldn't even move."
"Well you can bet I'm not making you anything now." I laid back down in my wet clothes and shut my eyes. I heard Turles walk away. When I was almost asleep I heard footsteps approaching once more. I closed my eyes tighter when I hear a whirring sound and then I was cold. I woke up to see that Turles was frowning with a small fan in his hand.
"Stop it I'm cold." I shivered.
"You'll get warm when you're over the stove." he reasoned. My stomach growled and I felt him smirk. I opened my eyes and jumped off the couch. I stomped over to the stairs and went up to my room.
After I changed into my clothes, I made my way out the door.
"Where are you going?" Turles asked. I ignored him and made my way into town.
