Okay, okay, I know how overdue this is!! I've had it written for months, I just sort of forgot about it when writing my other fanfictions and my novel. I thought maybe I was going the wrong way with this or something. I was thinking about canceling it, but if you guys like it tell me and I will write more. Thanks to my beta, if you remember me by now! (as you can see I kept it in present tense, I don't know I just have a thing about writing fanfictions in present tense don't ask me why!) Okay, enjoy, review, tell your friends if you like it, tell me if you like it lol,
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. If I did I would live in the UK, and go by the name of JK Rowling. I just like putting my favorite characters together and seeing how it plays out. Don't sue okay?
RW:
Oh my God! I think. What the hell are we going to do?!
Dean just gapes at us as we try to come up with an explanation. Harry finally says, "Dean?" His voice seems to knock Dean out of his shocked stupor.
"Were you just…?" Dean asks.
"Yeah." Harry says dropping his gaze to the floor.
"Are you…?" Dean asks.
"Yeah." I say grabbing hold of Harry's hand. Dean looks at both of us, and then takes a deep breath. Harry keeps his eyes on the floor feeling ashamed, and I just look anywhere but at Dean.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Dean says, his voice coming out pained like this hurt him. Harry and I look at each other and we both remember two days ago when Dean asked me out with painful clarity. Well Harry thought he was, while I thought it was a joke. An awkward silence permeates the air. I take a deep breath.
"I thought you were kidding!" I say to Harry, my voice almost squeaking.
"I thought I was too!" Harry looks up at Dean and adds: "I'm sorry, mate."
"Man!" I fall back on my bed.
"How long?" Dean asks after a pause.
"Couple days." Harry replies. Dean jerks his head towards me.
"You mean you were together when I…?"
I nod, sheepishly.
"Shit, sorry guys."
"Don't be, forget it," I reply.
"Erm, I should go, er, shower." Dean stands up awkwardly. He slowly makes his way to the bathroom and once he's out of sight, Harry smiles weakly at me.
"That wasn't so bad." he says, but my mind races anyway.
"Do you think he'll tell anyone? If he does, what will he say? Oh, god."
"Shh, calm down, Babe." Harry says while he wraps one arm around my shoulders pulling me closer.
"I'm calm, I'm calm," I say as Harry's fingers push through my hair and he smiles down at me. I'm lost in his dazzling green eyes, and then he leans into me kissing my lips delicately.
"What the hell?!"
"Oh, shit!" I say while pulling away from Harry, covering my face with my hands and falling back on my bed for the second time that morning… but this time I bury my head in my pillow.
Seamus is just shouting nonsense and finally he blubbers out, "You mean you're.. you're dodgy?" Seamus yells at us.
"Shh!" Harry says anxiously looking at the door. I moan into my pillow and Harry sits down next to me. Seamus stops his yowling finally and watches us as Harry tries to comfort me by smoothing my hair. "It's okay," he whispers and I feel my ears turning red in embarrassment. I look up at Seamus and he stares back.
"I- I don't know," Seamus says about nothing in particular.
"Didn't you know Dean was though?" I ask him. Seamus' eyes bulge. "What?" he asks. "Oh, crap." I bury my head in my pillow again. Sorry, Dean. I just outed you.
Seamus doesn't say anything to that. He just sits on his bed completely silent.
Still silent he pulls his curtain closed and changes quickly. He leaves the room without a glance back or a goodbye.
"Fuck..We need to be more careful from now on." I whisper.
"At least they know now," Harry says, and after a pause adds "Come on, let's get ready." As we dressed quickly we don't look at one another, almost like we're shy because of what happened this morning.
"God, Life is hard." I whisper to myself as we leave the dormitory.
