Another chapterdown. Give me your thoughts on the fight scene
This is an Older Naruto fic. It is not a crossover, but some aspects of Mortal Kombat and Daredevil are involved. The prologue should give you an idea as to why
I write to develop my penmanship, so any tips are helpful

Trading Destiny
Chapter 6
Naruto, Sakura and Shiho found themselves at one of the gates. They were ready and waiting for the gate to open. They had received a Heaven scroll. They had a plan and it was interesting to note how both Kunoichi were keen to show the other participants what they could do.
Kira was still in a foul mood. When she found out that she had a brother, she was not interested to say the least. But for her brother to return from a 14 year, the same age as her, training mission with nothing to show for it really ticked her off. He trained with one of the legendary Sanin, yet she found that Naruto was nothing but a clown.
Over the week, she had thought about having a big brother and how it may affect her life. She didn't completely hate the idea, but she didn't like it either. Kira hated weakness, and she felt that she was stronger than her so-called brother.
"This should be fun." Sai stated. Looking at Kira and Sasuke. Sasuke was quiet and brooding, as was his usual mood. Kira was the same, though Sai didn't care too much about his teammates. His mind was on the mission, and seeing it complete.
Kira stood waiting for the gates to open. Finally, she can do something about her anger. Her heart beat a little faster as the gates opened. Team 7 disappeared into the forest. Their first destination, the Team from Suna.
Naruto told his teammates that he needed some time to meditate. They didn't like this but went along with what he said. Sitting in a meditative position, Naruto searched the whole forest trying to find out where everyone was.
He tracked all of the teams and knew where each shinobi began and who would run into whom first. He also got a gauge on which team had which scroll. He found that team Kusa was very difficult to find, but in the end Naruto found the nin he was looking for. He knew that this nin was someone not to be trifled with.
"Okay." He said, causing both his teammates to look at him. "There are a few teams close enough that have the scroll that we want." He explained. "We'll have to formulate a plan to get the scrolls from them."
"Why can't you just take care of them yourself?" Asked Shiho.
"Yeah… You're obviously stronger than all of them." Sakura chimed in.
Naruto laughed at that. "Thanks for the compliment, but this is still a team exam. We need to work together." Naruto said, causing the Kunoichi to sigh. They both found Naruto odd. He was the strongest shinobi that they knew, yet he was always a happy-go-lucky type of guy. He would joke around and have fun, but when he's serious, he is serious.
"Now there is one individual who is making his way to us. He is from Ame and he doesn't have a scroll… What should we do?" The two Kunoichi thought for a moment.
"Set a trap." They both said at the same time.
The Ame nin was looking at the scene in front of him. Both the Kunoichi were fighting against each other, whilst their third teammate looked to be asleep. "This'll be easy, he thought." He hopped down from his tree only to back pedal as shuriken was heading straight for his head. He had to quickly jump to the right to avoid a tree from falling on him. He found that he was jumping straight into the path of more shuriken, and stopped before he reached it. He found no more traps and was going to say something, before he was strung up by his feet.
"Well, well, well. Look what we have here." Sakura stated, looking at the Ame nin dangling upside down. "What shall we do with you?" She continued, slowly sauntering towards the strung up shinobi.
"P-p-please. D-don't hurt m-me." The Ame nin stuttered. He was at a complete loss. It took all but 3 seconds before he was taken out.
"You don't have a scroll, so we don't see the point. Good luck with the rest of the exams." Shiho chimed in. At that, the three shinobi disappeared into the trees.
"Good work…" Naruto said, congratulating both Shiho and Sakura. This was all their plan, Naruto just played a minor role in it. The two Kunoichi knew of Naruto's quest, so there was no need to beat around the bush. What Naruto kept from them, however, was his mission to assess them. He would determine if they had the necessary skills to become Chunin, or stay at the Genin level.
Team 7 were still trying to find their target when they were mobbed by the strange Kusa nin. He had tried to split the team up but found that they were too cunning to fall for foolish tricks.
"Well it seems Danzo trained you well." This caught Team 7's attention, as it was not really known outside of Konoha that Danzo was their sensei. Each of them had the status of Genin to the shinobi and villagers in Konoha. No-one knew their actual skill level.
"It seems we aren't the only ones on the hunt." Sasuke exclaimed, getting ready to attack the new enemy.
"Kukuku. As confident as ever Sasuke." The nin exclaimed. He looked at Sasuke, then at Kira. "So brat, how is your brother?" At this Kira clenched and unclenched her fist, trying to quell her rising anger.
The Kusa nin looked at Sai last, smirking as he did. Sai had his eerie smile as per usual.
The nin was about to say something else, before he had to dodge to the left and then to right. Out of the ground, below his feet, were snakes. The snakes were made of ink.
The Kusa nin only smirked as Sasuke unloaded a Wind Release: Great Breakthrough straight at him. The Kusa nin got hit, but crumbled into mud as he got sent flying.
He reappeared behind the trio. He was about to commend them on their work, when he had to jump back to dodge two kunai coming from Kira. Just as he jumped back, the kunai transformed into doppelgangers of Kira, and the Kusa nin found himself dodging direct strikes to his being.
The Kusa nin had a calm composure when dodging Kira's strikes. In a quick fluid motion, he struck out and destroyed both of the clones.
Sasuke, Kira and Sai knew who they were fighting against, but didn't know what he wanted. His movements, his taijutsu, in attack and defence, gave him away.
"What does a Sanin want with three Konoha Genin?" Sasuke asked. Causing Orochimaru to smirk.
"It seems I'm not dealing with common Genin am I?" Orochimaru responded, pulling the skin off of his face and showing the trio his piercing yellow eyes. At that moment, the trio stood in awed silence and shock at how powerful Orochimaru's blood lust felt. They could visualize their death, and it was playing over and over in their minds. Sai was no longer smirking, Kira was breathing slightly and Sasuke activated his Sharingan.
Orochimaru was on the move, he thought that he could press the advantage and charged the three shinobi. He threw a kunai at Sai and Kira whilst leaving Sasuke alone. The Kunai hit dead on, but Orochimaru was surprised when they burst into smoke. His smile widened as he was pressed on both sides by Sasuke and Kira.
He defended his left from Kira and followed up with a strike to Sasuke. His movements were very snake like, and it was difficult for Sasuke and Kira to land a hit. Orochimaru's smirk disappeared suddenly when he felt his feet get caught. He looked down to see vines made of ink keeping him rooted to the spot.
Sasuke seeing this, advanced his attack and focussed straight on Orochimaru's head. His fist connected and sent Orochimaru's head back with a crack. Sasuke quickly retreated after the blow. He and Kira were standing next to each other.
"It seems like I have to step this up a notch." Came the crisp voice of Orochimaru. Kira was the first to spring into action as she sent a Wind Release: Blade of Wind straight at Orochimaru.
He knew that something like this was coming and was one step ahead of the trio. His body turned into mud once more.
Orochimaru appeared from a large branch on the tree. This time, as he appeared, he was faced with a large ball of fire. He quickly erected a mud wall but had to jump back once more. In front of him was a dragon made of ink. The beast continued to charge at Orochimaru.
Just as it got closer, it disappeared in a swarm of flames. The ink had ignited and now a large explosion occurred. Orochimaru substituted with a branch. This time, when he appeared, he was harassed by Sasuke.
Orochimaru dodged almost all of Sasuke's attacks but a few landed. He was about to defend himself from Sasuke once more only to get hit from his blind side by Kira. Orochimaru smirked as he was sent flying.
A large snake appeared where Orochimaru landed and came bounding straight for Kira. Kira dodged the snake's attack just as Sasuke jumped onto its head and attacked Orochimaru once more.
Orochimaru was on the defensive, but the smile never left his face. He was slightly enjoying himself. Kira caused the snake to disappear, while Sasuke jumped off to regroup. Orochimaru stood opposite to the pair.
Sai was always supporting his two teammates throughout the ordeal. Orochimaru had an idea where Sai was, but every time that he was about to make a move to attack him, he had to keep defending.
"It seems that we are almost an even match… considering." Orochimaru said once more.
The three of their teamwork was almost flawless. Sai providing backup and Sasuke and Kira going on the offensive. Both used a mixture of taijutsu and ninjutsu.
"It seems that it's pointless to continue fighting…" Orochimaru said, smirking at Kira and Sasuke. "If you want information on you brother…" Here Orochimaru looked at them. "Come and see me." Sasuke was perplexed, thinking that he was talking about Naruto. Kira was about to attack once more.
"You have the same eyes as him." Orochimaru said once more, before disappearing. In his place was the exact scroll that they were looking for. "Seek me out, if you want the strength to kill him…" Came Orochimaru's discombobulated voice.
Naruto, Shiho and Sakura arrived at the Tower in the middle of the night. They got a scroll by ambushing some weak participants. They made their way directly to the towers after they acquired the scroll, not bothering with spending any longer in this Forest of Death.
Naruto wasn't surprised to note that two teams had already arrived. He had sensed them the moment he walked into the building. The first was the Suna team. The second was his sisters' team. This didn't surprise him. He knew that his sister was strong, so naturally, her team would be as well.
As it was late in the night, the trio were escorted to their bed chambers. They had four more days to wait for the next part of the exam.
Sakura and Shiho both looked at Naruto. Sakura was first to speak up. "You sure that this will be fine? Considering you're a…"
"Shhh." Naruto whispered, causing Sakura to blush. Looking away slightly. "I think we should get some sleep… Tomorrow, we'll have to do some training."
