Chapter 7: The Storm will pass.

Tracey POV

I look up from the paperwork I had been reading over and over, trying anything to help save my friend, to help save Andy. I can't believe this is happening all over again, I don't want to lose another person like I lost Jerry. I don't want to lose my sister.

The entire station is running around like crazy and I look over to where Sam and Oliver sit by a computer with Sam's head in his hands. God, he is going through what I was. I get that I'm supposed to hate him because he broke Andy's heart, but right now in this moment that man down stairs is a broken man, a man who wished he told the one person who really cared about him, that he loved her.

Oliver looked like someone had taken his own child, and in way all of us rookies were his child, this entire division was a family. Dov and Chris were questioning a few students that had known the teacher and the student the most. It had been about 8 hours since Andy went missing and this storm was getting worse. The power had been flickering for the past hour and everyone was starting to worry about losing power.

I look back to the paperwork in front of me, the page I had read over and over. The student that was in the car had a record that was longer than my arms. The kid had more than twenty assault charges and had been diagnosed with a rare case of bipolar, his anger and violence is mostly out of control when he isn't on his pills.

The teacher, a single father to the student, trying to make ends meet and keep an eye on his son at the same time, this was so messed up. A girl is dead and Andy being taken. I feel like there is nothing I can do, Frank has put some of us behind desks and he and Nick are somewhere out in that storm. I want to be out there but I have to find out where they have taken her.

The father's brother is coming in to help with our investigation. I hope he can help us. I hope we find Andy safe.

Luke POV

Interview room 3

'Alright Mr Guest, your brother and nephew what was their relationship like?'

'My brother loved his son, but there has always been something wrong with that boy. When they diagnosed Matthew with bipolar he refused to take his meds until he hurt a few put and was put in a mental institute. When he turned 18 it got a bit crazy and he thought he loved a girl, but Anna was just trying to be nice to him. When she told him she didn't feel the same, he snapped and beat her. He has always had a problem with people. My brother always managed to cover for him, to protect Mathew from himself, but I guess today it just got out of hand.'

'Do you know where they could be?'

'I own a cabin up in the mountains about an hour from here, it on a logging road. But with this storm is would be hard to get up there.'

'Thank you so much for your help sir. If you mind staying in here just a bit longer, I must go brief my team.'

I walk out of the room and call everyone into roll call. The room fills up fast with Frank and Nick the lasts ones to rush into the room.

'Alright everyone quite,' I yell, 'I have a lead.'

Frank stands beside me and I take a quick glance to where Sam stand and I feel for him, the pain we are all in is a lot worse for him.

'The Uncle of Matthew has a cabin about an hour from here, but with this rain the logging road would be tough to get through, we need a few private vehicles that are enough to get through the track.'

Sam's and a few other hands go up. 'Alright we have three marked police SUV's to lead us and we will have four SRU Officers with us as well. They we lead us in first as we enter the logging road.'

All of a sudden the door slams against the wall and Dov is panting hard in the door way and he chokes out, 'Andy SUV has just been activated on GPS location. She is on the radio with distress calls but cannot here replies.'

'Alright, everyone move out. I want the GPS location up in my SUV. Let get our officer back in one piece, ' Frank yells.

The suddenly the light go out and a flash of lightning fills the rooms. Thunder rolls above us and the storm is moving.
