Hey there everyone! Fenikkusumaru and Vanishing Raptor here to give you the latest chapter of Kamen Rider Gaim: Romance of the Three Kingdoms! Sorry it took so long though. I was catching up with some other stories and RL is being a pain in the butt. But anyways, the chapter is here now, so let's get to it!
Disclaimer: Same thing.
It's been six days since I joined and eventually became the Supreme Commander of the Anti–Tōtaku Alliance. I still have some trouble believing it, but… well, the reality spoke for itself. I spent my days reviewing reports from the army, training with Aisha, Rinrin, and my friends– while also catching up with them; learning strategies and tactics from Shuri, and trying to get to know better my comrades in the alliance– save for Sousou and most of her entourage and Enshō for obvious reasons. Interestingly enough, I got along with Kakouen, Bunshuu, and Ganryou just fine.
Kakouen for her part was pretty cool. She was loyal to Sousou, but not overly zealous like Kakouton or their senior strategist, Jun'iku and had a good head on her shoulder. She even apologized in Sousou's place for causing trouble. I already forgave her, but Aisha seemed to be a little hesitant to accept her apology. If anything, the younger of the Kakou Twins acted pretty much as the only sane woman when it came to the triad of her, Sousou, and Kakouton. Sousou was very selfish and egocentric while Kakouton will follow what she says without a question, not to mention her bullheadedness, even if it meant that it will cause so much trouble. Kakouen had to play the part as the voice of reason that would curb stomp Sousou's ego a little– no matter how slight it was. Kakouen respected me as a warrior and a leader after hearing the hearsays about my exploits and I actually look forward to working together with her.
Bunshuu was pretty much Daigo in a female body with a very little restraint. She was a very carefree person– way too carefree– with a dash of the overconfidence and stubbornness issue. She and Daigo got along really well, no surprises there. I think for my sanity, I shouldn't stay in the same room as them, lest I catch some of their stupidity. Despite her faults, she was very loyal to her friends and more loyal to Ganryou than Enshō. For some reason, I think she sees Ganryou more than just a friend… maybe as a sister, yeah that's probably it… hopefully.
Ganryou on the other hand, was the Kakouen of the En Faction. She acted as the rational sound and mind of her trio which consisted of Enshō, Bunshuu, and her, although she had less chance of success with Enshō's self–centered, egoistical nature and Bunshuu's carefree attitude. She and Kakouen bonded really well for sharing the same role in their trio. They both had to put up with their egocentric and selfish mistress and stubborn as a mule partner–in–crime. What scared me was the fact I learned from Bunshuu that Ganryou's IQ was only 34–36, which the black-haired girl corrected hastily. And she was the sound of rationality in Enshō's group? Gosh, I'm really scared to learn how stupid Enshō really was. And she tried to be the leader of this alliance…*shudder* Bad thoughts…
I had much better luck with Go's officers. Sonsaku was like what I expected of her. A mischievous big sister who loved to tease her younger siblings, but was otherwise a really cool and protective sister. She also had high alcohol tolerance and could drink several bottles of sake without getting drunk. Now if only she didn't tease me and Sonken so often…
Shuuyu and I were pretty much in cordial terms. We respected each other, but still wary of one another. She trusted me on some level because Sonsaku actually liked me. Something tells me there's something more going on between the Queen of Son Go and her personal strategist… whatever it is though, it's none of my business.
Rikuson bonded really well with Shuri because they both loved books and are real bookworms. I sometimes saw them sitting together, discussing about some titles they read.
Kannei was pretty stoic for her part, so I could only exchange some pleasantries with her.
Sonken on the other hand was a little irritated with me at first. A big part of her irritation stemmed from Sonsaku's attempt to be a matchmaker, but after getting to know her in person, we both saw each other in a different light. She respected me for managing to fit my role as a leader of my faction despite not having a background as a noble and I respected her to be her own person and ruler, free from her sister's shadow once she stepped in as queen. We were as close as friends could be, and Sonsaku never failed to have this particular smile on her face when she saw us together. And I think I saw Aisha giving Sonken an evil eye. Was she jealous?
Days passed quickly and without me realizing it, tomorrow was the day to attack Shisui Pass. The scouts we sent earlier had returned and brought the important information we needed for tomorrow's battle. I quickly sent word for a war council to the others so we can discuss our plan for our major battle tomorrow.
After a while, Koji, Daigo, Souji–sempai, came to the war council along with Shuri, Sonsaku, Shuuyu, Rikuson, Enshō, Bunshuu, Ganryou, Sousou, the Kakou Twins, Jun'iku, and Kousonsan.
"Is this everyone?" I asked.
"Yes Gaim–sama, we can start the meeting." Shuri said.
I nodded at her and turned to my guests. "As you already know, tomorrow will be the day we attack Shisui Pass. Our scouts have returned to bring us the information we needed for the battle. So let's review on what we've learned so far."
Shuri took a deep breath as she began her explanation. "Our scouts have gathered that there is around 40,000 soldiers stationed on the Shisui Pass and their leader is General Kayuu. She is known for her stubbornness and confidence in her combat prowess, so she will meet our attack head on despite our overwhelming number. Our trouble however, is here," she pointed at a marked position on the map laid on the table. One mark showed the position of Shisui Pass while Hulao Pass was directly behind it. "The Shisui Pass is located at the bottom of a ravine while Hulao Pass is located right on the top. Based on their location, we should take both of them down in one day so our enemy can't ask for reinforcements to bolster their defense."
"Sounds easy enough." Sonsaku said. "So what is the plan then?"
"Obviously we storm the Shisui Pass with our number," said Enshō pompously.
"You really are stupid aren't you," Sousou sniped at her mercilessly.
"What did you say!?" snapped Enshō.
"Calm down. Fighting against each other won't help us now," chided Kousonsan.
"Kousonsan–dono is right. And I already have a plan for our attack," I said as I looked at Sousou and Enshō who backed down from my stare. "As of now with all of our troops combined, we should be able to take over the Shisui Pass no problem, but that could change at any time, so myself and the other three Riders will directly be on the front lines to lower their number as much as possible before we begin the main assault. We will need our archers for this one too."
"All four of you are going?" Sonsaku asked surprised,
"You bet we are!" Daigo grinned widely.
"Think of it this way, Sonsaku-sama. The four of us make a really good diversion," Souji–sempai pointed out. "We can make the enemy think we are underestimating them since we only send the Four Messengers of Heaven to defeat them. They will be infuriated by this, especially General Kayuu, if the report about her personality is true. We can thin their number easily as they throw themselves at us."
"It's very risky, though," said Jun'iku.
"We'll be alright. But if you want some assurance, then let's take our personal units with us," said Koji.
"Well, I suppose so…" Sonsaku said.
"Not only that, I get the feeling that since I'm the leader of this entire army, going to the frontlines myself, General Kayuu would want to go against me." I said.
"Hawawa! A–Are you sure y–you want to face her?!" Shuri stuttered surprise.
"Trust me Shuri, it's gonna be okay." I assured. "I'm not going in this battle blindly."
"But–"
"It's okay." I said again. "Trust me when I say this, I'm not gonna die on anyone. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever."
Sonsaku smiled at me approvingly. "Spoken like a true leader and warrior, Kurogasa–kun. Looks like I've made the best choice for Renfa."
"Will you give it up already, Onee–san?" groaned Sonken.
Shuuyu cleared her throat and spoke up, "Regardless, we already have a good plan to start our battle. We need to form a follow up."
I nodded at her and spoke to the members of the alliance. "Alright, I'm open to any kind of plan. Does anyone have some suggestions?"
After I said that, we began to discuss our battle plan for tomorrow and it would take hours before we came up with a good plan. It will be worth it.
(Cue Theme Howling Soul by Rekka Katakiri)
(First Instrumental Section) We see black and white flashes of a few of the girls before freezing on Kurogasa in full color, standing back to back with Gaim. Then a few more black and white flashes of the girls appearing before coming to a full color image of Koji, smirking coolly with several of his harem girls surrounding him as Baron is off to the side. The last few black and white flashes then occur as we see Souji and Daigo stand back to back, Souji looking serious and Daigo upbeat as Zangetsu and Ryugen stand by them.
(Second Instrumental Section) the title logo for "Kamen Rider Gaim: Romance of the Three Kingdoms" appears in front of the palace before it slowly fades to change scenes. The scene changes to Kurogasa as Gaim leading the Shu forces in battle. Then, the scene changes to Koji as Baron, attacking a group of Inves with the Go forces. Lastly, the scene changes to Daigo and Souji as Ryugen and Zangetsu, protecting the Gi forces.
(Tsumetai genjitsu nageki kodoku ni karada furuwasu) The scene changes to a destroyed village as rain poured down. Kurogasa was sitting with his back on a destroyed wall, looking down on the ground sadly. His eyes then shifted to the Orange Lockseed in his hand, and clenched it tightly before looking up at the cloudy sky.
(Koko kara nigedashitai kedo sukoshi mo ugokazu ni ita) Koji is then seen on a balcony, leaning against the railing, looking out into the night with a deep, thoughtful look on his face. He looks down briefly at the Banana Lockseed in his hand. Taking a deep breath, he turns back into the building.
(Uzumaku sabishisa kanji kuchibiru tsuyoku kamishimeru) In the palace courtyard, Daigo is sitting on the tree, leaning his back against the huge trunk looking bored as he looked at his Budou Lockseed while his Souji was sitting down on a chair, reading a scroll before looked up at the sky then looked back down at the table where his Melon Lockseed was.
(Kuyashinamida nagasu mae ni yuuki furishibori onore tsuranuke) Suddenly, the scene changes to a town that seemed to have started to be overtaken by Helheim. As Inves surround them, Kurogasa, Koji, Daigo, and Souji nod to each other as they put on their Sengoku Drivers. Locking on their Lockseeds, they transform into Kamen Riders Gaim, Baron, Ryugen, and Zangetsu.
(Atsuku tagiru tamashii otakebi to tomo ni tokihanate) In the following shot, as the Kamen Riders battle against the Inves, the women prove their martial might in the fight by taking on the Inves as well, different shots showing them each in action.
(Kimerareta RUURU wo uchikowashite) As the fighting continued, in the distance Kurogasa sees Saji, the man who had started it all and sent him and his friends to the Three Kingdoms world and he immediately charges at him.
(Kakenukero jiyuu e to) Saji smirked evilly as he takes out his own Sengoku Driver. His Lockseed, however, is obscured because as he activates it, a flash of light overtakes the screen, making it unclear which Rider he becomes or if Kurogasa hits him.
(Instrumental) Kurogasa, Koji, Daigo, and Souji are seen with their armies, sitting in yukata's of the color scheme of their Rider, holding up their Lockseeds. The Musou women stand behind them at the ready with their weapons out as the title logo appears again.
Chapter 7: Showdown at Shisui Pass
The sun hadn't risen yet when our army saw the Shisui Pass in the distance. We could see the Tōtaku soldiers guarding the first checkpoint to the capital Luoyang. Several out looking soldiers manned the rampart and some of them were guarding the front gates.
I looked back to the advance force which consisted of me, Koji, Daigo, Souji–sempai and our personal units. Roughly, there were only about 8,000 of us so we were pretty much outnumbered by 1:5, but with our Rider powers, we could win this.
I turned to my friends who smiled, grinned, and nodded encouragingly to me. Alright, let's get this show on the road! "You guys ready to go?" I asked.
"I'm ready to start this dance!" Koji said.
"Me too! I'm itching to get into battle!" Daigo added.
"I'm with you." Souji–sempai finished. "Remember to stick to the plan."
"Right, so let's do this!" I said. With that all of us took out our Sengoku Drivers and attached them to our waist, making the yellow belts wrap around. Then we took out our respective Lockseeds.
"HENSHIN!"
ORANGE!
BANANA!
BUDOU!
MELON!
Four zipper portals opened up from above our heads and the metallic orange, banana, grapes, and musk melon descended down before we locked our Lockseeds into place and brought the Cutting Knife down to slice the Lockseed open.
LOCK ON!
SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS! HANAMICHI ON STAGE!
COME ON! BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR~!
HAI~! BUDOU ARMS! RYU, HOU, HA–HA–HA!
SOIYA! MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!
Once our transformation finished, the soldiers were looking at us in awe. I didn't blame them. After all, this was the first time we transformed together at once. Looks like they can get a little more morale boost here.
"Men," I said looking to them, "I want you to look around! What do you see? I see soldiers from different kingdoms coming together to fight a common enemy! But you must ask yourself: Why are you here? My answer is that it's because I know it is the right thing to do! We are gathered here today to prevent a tyrant from spreading misery and suffering! We come from different kingdoms, but today we are fellow countrymen fighting for peace, justice and freedom! We are here to fight for our country! Some of you may not survive, but at least know that you did this, fighting for a just cause! You fight for your country and for your loved ones! Not only that, you fight for your fellow man who stands with you!"
"Now, I ask this: ARE YOU WITH ME?!"
"YES WE ARE!" the soldiers roared out their reply,
"Then let's go! It's time to make Tōtaku pay for her crimes!" I yelled as I unsheathed my Musou Saber and pointed it at the direction of Shisui Pass. "All units, charge!"
Me and the other Riders sprinted toward the Shisui Pass with our soldiers following with thundering charge.
Meanwhile, on the other side, a messenger ran in the straight towards General Kayuu who was at her tent. He got on one knee after stopping saying, "Kayuu–sama, I have a report!"
"What is it?" Kayuu asked.
"The Anti–Tōtaku Alliance is heading towards the pass!"
"How many troops are coming towards us?"
"About eight thousand!"
"WHAT!?" exclaimed Kayuu in surprise and anger. "Are they mocking us!?"
"I–I don't know, Kayuu–sama, but the Messengers of Heaven Gaim, Baron, Ryugen, and Zangetsu are seen leading them," replied the soldier.
"…How arrogant of them," snarled Kayuu angrily. "Prepare to move out! Have all of our men ready! We will crush and kill those Messengers of Heaven!"
"Yes, Ma'am!" the soldier obeyed as he walked out.
Taking her Exploding Adamantine Axe with her, Kayuu walked out with a fierce scowl. "They will pay for underestimating me," she muttered with narrowed eyes. "These so called… Messengers of Heaven!"
"Hey looks like they fell to our bait," commented Baron, looking at the Tōtaku Army who charged at us.
"It is. The first part of our plan has succeeded," replied Zangetsu–sempai.
"Now all we have to do is to hold them off and thin their number as much as we can until our main army joins in." I said as I turned to Ryugen. "You ready for your part?"
"Sure thing!'" answered Ryugen as he sliced the Budou Lockseed on his Driver.
HAI~! BUDOU~ AU LAIT!
At that point, large grape shaped energy balls formed at the tip of the barrel of Ryugen's Budou Ryuhou, "Kurae!" He shouted, pulling the trigger and firing the large energy grapes at the Tōtaku army. When they hit their targets, the energy grapes exploded sending hundreds of soldiers flying.
"Alright, I'm going in!" I shouted before dashing ahead and by the time they realized that I was in range, I sliced down some soldiers with my Daidaimaru and Musou Saber. I even emptied my magazine on a few before reloading again.
"Hey don't leave me out!" Baron shouted as he went after and stabbed a few soldiers of his own with his Banaspear.
"Don't get reckless now," reminded Zangetsu–sempai, slashing down several soldiers with his Musou Saber. He then blocked a sword slash with his Melon Defender before bashing the wielder away.
"I got it, Aniki," replied Ryugen as he pulled the hammer of his Budou Ryuhou and fired at several soldiers. He then kicked some soldiers that got too close for his liking before gunning down their comrades.
"C'mon! Is this the best you can do!?" challenged Baron as he gouged several soldiers with Banaspear. He then pivoted on his foot to strike down several soldiers that tried to surround him.
"Let's see how you like this!" I shouted as I put my Daidaimaru and Musou Saber together to have it in Naginata Mode and slashed several enemies down with it.
After that, I took out my Orange Lockseed and locked it in place on the Musou Saber.
LOCK ON! 1! 10! 100! 1,000! 10,000!
I twirled my weapon above my head as it flared with orange energy.
ORANGE CHARGE!
"ORYAAAAAH!" I slashed broadly, sending out an orange slice–like energy slash which struck many enemies down.
"A Finisher already?" Questioned Zangetsu–sempai.
"Hey we gotta take out as much enemies as we can before we go into Phase Two of our plan right?" ked.
"I suppose that's true." Zangetsu–sempai said.
"Then let's not waste any more time and take out more," I said before taking out the Orange Lockseed out of my Musou Saber putting it away. I then took out the Ichigo Lockseed and opened it.
ICHIGO!
The Orange Arms disappeared and the zipper portal from above opened up to reveal thw metal strawberry before I locked the Lockseed into place and sliced it open.
LOCK ON!
SOIYA! ICHIGO ARMS! SHUSHUTTO SPARK!
The Ichigo Armor Parts descended from Helheim Forest and formed into Ichigo Arms as it landed on my shoulders. Once the transformation was completed, I wasted no time locking my Ichigo Lockseed to my Musou Saber.
LOCK ON! 1! 10! 100! ICHIGO CHARGE!
I slashed upwards three times, firing three giant Ichigo Kunais which morphed into giant strawberries, then burst into many copies of my Arms Weapon, raining down on many unfortunate soldiers.
"Alright, it's working!" Baron cheered.
"Hey aniki, is it time to send the signal for Phase Two?" Ryugen asked.
"Yes." Zangetsu–sempai said before turning to a soldier, "You there, send out the signal! We're beginning Phase Two!"
"Yes sir!" The soldier replied as he hurried off to send the signal.
"Now we're just have to keep 'em thin," Baron said as he sliced his Lockseed three times. "And I just know what to do!"
COME ON! BANANA SPARKING!
Baron twirled his glowing Banaspear above his head and stabbed it to the ground. Multiple Banana projections grew from the earth and stabbed through many soldiers without mercy.
"Alright! That's my part!" Said Baron.
"Now we just wait for the others." I said before slashing another enemy.
Meanwhile, the soldier that Zangetsu sent went towards a small hill where a huge flag was. He raised it up and started waving it back and forth. "Look, there's the signal!" Bachou noticed pointing at the flag.
"Alright everyone, this is our chance!" Aisha called out as she raised her Green Dragon Crescent Blade. "Kan unit, advance onward! Let us administer Heaven's punishment upon the tyrant and her army!"
"Chou's squad! Charge, smash, victory!" Rinrin ordered to her squadron.
"Alright boys! Let's show 'em what the Ryousan cavalry can do!" Bachou called to her men.
"We will advance as planned! Please remember what we will do next!" Said Shuri.
"So it seems Kururugi had done his job well," said Sousou with a smirk. "Well, I can't let a man show me up, can I?"
"Your orders, Karin–sama?" Inquired Kakouen.
"Sou Gi army will advance forward!" Ordered Sousou, holding her right hand out. "Let them know that Sousou Motoku has come to take their lives!"
"Onee–san, look!" Sonken noticed as the Go army noticed the flag being waved around.
"Looks like Gaim–dono has signaled for Phase Two." Shuyuu noticed. "Sheren, what are your orders?"
"We move forward as planned." Sonsaku said before standing up and held her left hand out, "All units move forward, support Gaim–dono and the other Messengers of Heaven!"
"This is boring… I can't believe we're to stay here to defend the Alliance Camp…" Enshō pouted while seething. It's no surprise that the other factions don't like her, but this was just too much. Was this some sort of punishment for trying to be the leader of the alliance? She then pulled her hair shouting, "Gah, I should be out there fighting!"
"It would be better if you stayed here, Reiha–sama," commented Ganryou. Why did she served Enshō again? Oh yeah, because she showed mercy to her and Bunshuu when they were still bandits from the north.
"What is that supposed to mean, Ganryou–san!?" Asked Enshou indignantly.
"Because you will ruin everything~," answered Bunshuu in flippant tone.
"NANDATO!?" Raged Enshou. Even her vassals were turning against her! What did Kururugi do to them!?
"You should've said it a little bit nicer, Bun–chan," sighed Ganryou.
"What? It's the truth." Bunshuu said with an, 'what's wrong with that?' look.
"Ever heard of the phrase, "The truth hurts"?" Ganryou asked.
"Well if you ask me, I'd say she needs a good dose of it."
"You do know that I'm still standing here right?" Enshou growled irritably, crossing her arms while twitching her eye.
"Ehehehehehehe…" Bunshuu laughed nervously.
"Oh you two…" Ganryou sighed.
"That does it! Screw Kururugi! The three of us are going into battle!" Enshou decided.
"WHAT?!" Her retainers asked shocked.
"I can't stand being on the sidelines! We have to do something!"
"Hold on, Reiha–sama! If we're moving without orders now, then Kururugi–san will be angry at us!" Pleaded Ganryou, playing the sound of reason like usual. "Besides, he has the backing of Gi and Go with him. And they might make us pay for our insubordination!"
"Then what should we do!?" Enshō shot back snappishly.
"Well, how about asking Kurogasa–san to make us the front liner in the battle of Hulao Pass?" Pointed out Bunshuu.
That cut off Enshou from her tirade. What Bunshuu said was logical. He let them be the campsite guards this time, so next time they should be the frontline units. "Well…" Enshou blinked. "You actually might have a point there."
"See? Isn't that better?" Bunshuu grinned.
"Of course it is, and then we show Kururugi, the true power of the En faction! O~HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!"
Baron, Ryugen, Zangetsu–sempai, and I and our personal units continued battling against the Tōtaku Army and thanks to us, their numbers are continuing to dwindle. But even then, we were getting a bit tired.
"Man, how much longer?!" Ryugen whined.
"Just hang on man, reinforcements will be here soon!" Baron assured.
I looked around and then saw my flag from the distance. I then shouted, "And they're here now! Look!"
As expected, the rest of my army along with my generals arrived together with the Gi and Go army. Seeing the three major factions together was enough to demoralize the Tōtaku Army soldiers. Some attempted to flee while some of them tried to fight on. In the end, it was futile as the archers barraged them and cavalry units easily picked them off.
"Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora!" Rinrin shouted as she swung her Viper Spear onto the Tōtaku soldiers sending them flying in all directions like a bull.
"How is she that strong?" Zangetsu–sempai asked incredulously, amazed at how strong Rinrin was.
"Believe me, I asked myself the same question sempai," I said.
"She reminds me of Kyouchou," replied Baron, causing me to look at him questioningly. "She is as young as Chouhi is, and ridiculously strong. Just what's with little girls and freakish strength?"
"The power of youth?" offered Ryugen unsurely.
"That's hardly a logical answer." Zangetsu-sempai sweat dropped.
"Well, you got a better explanation?" Ryugen asked.
"Guys, now's not the time for that. In case you haven't noticed, we're in the middle of a battle here." I said.
"Sorry about that, Kurogasa–kun," replied Zangetsu-sempai before he turned to Ryugen who shrugged.
"You're the one who brought that up, Aniki."
He stared at his brother before he turned his attention toward the Tōtaku soldiers and charged at them.
"Well, shall we help sempai?" asked Baron twirling his Banaspear.
"That goes without saying!" I said as brandished my Musou Saber on one hand and Ichigo Kunai in another.
I threw the Ichigo Kunai at a soldier, piercing his neck before I slashed another with my Musou Saber. I then jumped back from a Tōtaku soldier who tried to stab me with a lance and I was suddenly back–to–back with Aisha and Bachou.
"Gaim–sama!" Aisha recognized.
"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes." I scoffed good–naturedly.
"Did you miss us that badly, Gaim–sama?" asked Bachou with a grin.
"I did," I answered as I threw three kunai at some soldiers, killing them as the weapon detonated.
"That's good news to hear," replied Aisha. "How are you faring, Gaim–sama?"
"Just great," I slashed several soldiers with my Musou Saber. "These guys are hardly a problem. I think they're only a step better than the Turbans."
"Wow, and these guys are supposed be the Imperial Army?" scoffed Bachou. "I guess their standards dropped drastically."
"Now that is a sad thing," commented Aisha with a frown.
"But at least it makes things easier for us." Bachou said.
"Yeah. And I'm ready to finish things here, so let's do this!" I said before taking out my Ichigo Lockseed and pulled out another one.
SUIKA!
A huge zipper portal opened up from above and the huge Suika Arms watermelon appeared
"WHOA, WHAT THE–!" Bachou gawked surprised.
"You may want to stay clear," I said to her as I locked the Suika Lockseed and sliced it open.
LOCK ON!
SOIYA! SUIKA ARMS! ODAMA BIG BANG!
The Suika Arms dropped on top of me and I immediately changed it to the mode I'm looking for.
YOROI MODE!
The Suika Armor Parts shifted and changed into the powered armor Yoroi Mode.
"Wow…" Bachou gaped in shock.
"I was like that too when I first saw it." Aisha huffed a bit. "I thought that huge melon killed him."
"Hey I said I was sorry didn't I?" I asked.
"I'm just saying that should've warned me next time." Aisha retorted. "Now enough about that, we got enemies to defeat."
"Hai, hai…" I sighed. "Yosh, let's go for it!" I said before twirling my Suika Sōjinto and rammed through the Tōtaku soldiers.
"This is impossible!" Kayuu snarled. "They're going to break through our defenses!"
"T–Then what should we do, Kayuu–sama?" Asked a soldier.
"We even the field," she then took out a Donguri Lockseed from her pocket. "I don't like using this thing, but I can't lose here." She then turned to the soldier. "Gather whoever received this thing under my command!"
"At once, ma'am!" The soldier then hurried along.
"I'll make sure they lose with these." Kayuu said to herself.
"Take this!" Kakouton shouted, slashing her enemy down with her sword.
"Karin–sama, the enemies' numbers are dwindling fast," Kakouen said after firing an arrow at a Tōtaku soldier.
"Very well. Keep it up, Shunran, Shuuran," said Sousou as she beheaded a soldier.
"You are no match for the might of Gi and Karin-sama!" Bellowed Kakouton, brandishing her bloodstained sword. "Now die!"
"Fufufu, Shunran is sure enthusiastic today," commented Sousou, chuckling slightly.
"Possibly from your encounter with Kurogasa–dono the other day when you attempted to 'recruit' Kan'u–san to our army, ergo, agitating Aneue and needing to vent out."
"I suppose so." Sousou chuckled. "One day though… Kan'u will be mine."
"And what of Kurogasa–dono?"
"He has taken my interest. Until he has shown more of what he can do, then I will be content of watching him," answered Sousou calmly.
"I understand," replied Kakouen, loading her bow and fired at an enemy.
"AAAAHHH! What the heck is that!?"
The sisters and Sousou looked to see in the distance... a huge watermelon armored warrior, ramming through the Tōtaku Army?!
"Hmmm?" Sousou raised an eyebrow.
"What is that?!" Kakouton demanded.
"If I had to guess, it's probably Kurogasa–dono." Kakouen pondered.
"You have to be kidding me!" Kakouton cried out in disbelief.
"One of his armors can change him into a giant for taking down many enemies by himself," said Kakouen. "It is essentially a one–man army."
"Hmm… So he isn't a weakling at all," commented Sousou before she smirked. "Perhaps he deserves more than my attention."
"K–Karin-sama! You possibly, couldn't…!" Kakouton sputtered.
"Once he shows me more, I will claim him as mine," stated Sousou.
"No way…" Kakouton said in disbelief before she got mad. What has Kururugi done to her precious Karin–sama? There was going to be major repercussions for this. Major repercussions.
"Hyah!" Sonken shouted, slashing down an enemy with her sword.
"Stay sharp. Renfa," reminded Sonsaku as she struck down a soldier. "They might be weak, but their number may cause us some trouble."
"Hai," Sonken affirmed sharply.
Rikuson who rode on a horse further back, caught the sight of something amazing.
"Oh my! What in the world is that?" she asked pointing at the armored giant who bulldozed through the ranks of the Tōtaku Soldiers easily.
"What in the…?" Shuuyu stated with widened eyes.
"Ara, that must be Kurogasa–kun," said Sonsaku as she watched Suika Arms take down many soldiers with ease.
"That's Kurogasa–dono?!" Sonken gaped. He literally turned into a one–man army with that giant armor of his!
ODAMA MODE!
The Go officials watched as the Suika Arms reverted back to its Armor Parts form and rolled over many soldiers as Gaim carved a path through them. He stopped and transformed back into its giant armored form.
YOROI MODE!
"Unbelievable…" Kannei said in disbelief.
"My, he brings so many surprises." Sonsaku giggled. "I was right to pick him as your husband Renfa."
"O–Onee–san!" Sonken blushed.
"Maa, maa, no need to be in denial now," said the eldest Son family daughter. "I know I would make him my husband if I didn't have Meirin already."
Sonken's eyes widened hearing that confession from her sister. She however, tried to push away the building jealousy she felt at her sister's words. Shuuyu also felt a little jealous at that unexpected confession, but fortunately she was somewhat mollified, knowing that Sonsaku still held her as her dearest person.
"Anyway, we can't let Kurogasa–kun get ahead of us," said Sonsaku as she pointed her bloodied sword to the direction of Shisui Pass. "Alright people, let's go!"
"HAI, SONSAKU–SAMA!"
Using the Suika Arms against these guys is somewhat overkill, but hey, I won't complain if it gets the job done. A single swing of my Suika Sojintō slashed through many soldiers and a single punch sent many flying. I used the Seed Vulcan gun to fire at any incoming soldiers.
"Oraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraora!" I yelled, firing the bullet seeds towards the Tōtaku soldiers hitting them head on.
"Just a little more!" Aisha called out.
"Keep smashing them Onii–chan!" Rinrin cheered.
No need to tell me twice. I continued firing as me and the other Riders and armies kept pushing forward towards the Shisui Pass walls, cornering them. After a while, I decided that enough was enough and that it's time to face the general.
ORANGE!
LOCK ON!
SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS! HANAMICHI ON STAGE!
The Suika Arms disappeared and I reverted back to Orange Arms with my Musou Saber and Daidaimaru in hand. As soon as my generals, Baron, Ryugen, and Zangetsu–sempai met up with me…
"That's far enough, Messengers of Heaven!" A voice shouted.
I turned to see a silver haired woman along with several soldiers. Her army bore the flag with the character of Ka. She must be Kayuu, the general who is in charge of this place. "Are you General Kayuu?!" I demanded to her.
"That is correct," she answered with a smirk on her face. "I applaud you to come this far, but you will not go any further!"
"Oh yeah?" challenged Baron. "You think you really can stop us?"
"Let's see if you can really stop us, Hooker Onee–chan!" said Ryugen… and there was a moment of awkward silence.
"W–What did you call me?" asked Kayuu in apparent shock.
"I called you Hooker Onee–chan," Ryugen said, tilting his head to the side. "Is there something wrong with that?"
*BONK!*
"Ow!" Ryugen cringed after being whacked on the head by Zangetsu–sempai's Melon Defender. "What was that for Aniki?!"
"For being your idiotic self, that's what!" Zangetsu–sempai said curtly.
"What? I'm just saying she looks like a–"
"Don't finish that sentence Daigo!" I snapped.
"Y–You dare insult me!?" Kayuu stammered in anger. Uh–oh, I think Ryugen just stepped on a landmine here.
"If you don't want to be called one, then wear something that covers more," Baron pointed out.
"You're not helping here," I deadpanned.
"That does it! Men open your Lockseeds!" Kayuu ordered.
WHAT?!
"Did she just say Lockseeds?!" Aisha gasped.
True enough. Kayuu was holding a Donguri Lockseed while her men also had some Lockseeds with them. Most of them have Himawari Lockseed and some Matusbokkuri and Kurumi Lockseeds. They even have some Pine, Kiwi, and Mango Lockseeds with them!
Several Cracks opened and Inves crossed over from Helheim Forest. Oh boy, this going to be messy!
"This isn't good," Zangetsu–sempai observed.
"If only you didn't run your mouth off like that," Baron glared at Ryugen.
"Oh come on! How is it MY fault?" retorted Ryugen. "She might be already planning to use the Lockseeds from the beginning!"
"Worry about that later!" I called out to them as I drew my Musou Saber. "Here they come!" Charging at us were many Elementary Inves, but included in that group were some Kamikiri, Komori, Lion, and Yagi Inves, along with some Byakko, Seiryuu, and Hekija Inves. There were that many.
"Time for me to try out the new Lockseed!" I said as I took out the Star Fruit Lockseed and unlocked it.
CARAMBOLA!
Above me a portal opened and a giant star fruit floating horizontally lowered as I took out my Orange Lockseed and the Orange Arms disappeared. I then locked the new Lockseed to my Driver and sliced it open.
LOCK ON!
SOIYA! CARAMBOLA ARMS! KIRA, KIRA, SUPERSTAR!
The yellow star fruit fell on top of my shoulders and head before opening up and folding onto my body. The sides locked onto my shoulders as the front folded forward, decorated with a star. The top and back of the fruit folded onto my back. My visor also turned golden yellow with lines making a faint star shape. In a flash of light, a pair of chakrams appeared in my hands. They were circular blades with stars on the inside and handles in holes in the middle of the stars so I could grip them. I will dub them the Carambola Stars.
"Let's see what they can do!" I said as I threw my weapons at the Inves and watched them cut through their body with ease before returning to my hands. And thanks to my attack, their advance was halted slightly and it gave Zangetsu–sempai the chance to bark his order.
"Soldiers! Do not engage the Inves! Leave them to us! Focus on the enemy soldiers!"
"YES, ZANGETSU–SAMA!"
"Alright, let's bash them!" Baron said switching Lockseeds.
MANGO!
"Hey, don't leave me out!" Ryugen said doing the same thing.
KIWI!
Both the Banana and Budou Arms disappeared as two portals opened up to reveal the Mango and Kiwi Arms slowly descending down. They took out the old ones, and replaced them with the new ones, locking their Lockseeds in place and slicing them open.
LOCK ON!
COME ON! MANGO ARMS! FIGHT OF HA~MMER~!
HAI~! KIWI ARMS! GEKI, RIN, SEIYA–HA!
The Armor Parts dropped to their shoulders and formed their new Arms, summoning their Arms Weapon to their hand.
"Alright, let me say this to start!" Baron said as he hefted the Mango Punisher to his shoulder. "From the beginning to the end I'm always at my climax!"
"Hey, that's supposed to be my line!" yelled Ryugen as he and Baron charged at the Inves horde.
"Perhaps I too should try a new Arms." Zangetsu–sempai said, taking out his Melon Lockseed.
LOCK OFF
He then took out one of his new ones, opening it.
PEAR!
The Melon Arms disappeared as a portal opened to reveal a metallic brownish–green pear descending down vertically. Zangetsu–sempai then locked the Lockseed into place and sliced it open revealing the inside of a pair on the top half and a halberd like weapon on the bottom.
LOCK ON!
SOIYA! PEAR ARMS! KIRASAITE CHIKARA!
The new Pear Armor Parts dropped from the Crack above sempai's head and it landed on his shoulder before it disassembled. The sides slid down to be a pair of shoulder armor like the one Pine Arms had, while the front parts flipped down to form a tan colored chest plate with white highlights and the back parts flipped down to become his back armor. A halberd with pear slice shaped blade appeared on his hand as the armor generated white 'juice' splash.
"Let's see what this one can do!" Sempai said as he charged at the horde.
Baron swung his Mango Punisher at a group of Elementary Inves and sent them flying. He blocked the claw of a Shika Inves with the shaft of his weapon and countered by bashing it on the face once and on the torso to knock it back.
Ryugen slashed several Elementary Inves around him before he rolled to his side to dodge a swooping Komori Inves. For its effort to attack him, Ryugen threw one of the Kiwi Gekirin at it and struck it on its back, knocking it down.
As for me, I threw one of my Carambola Stars onto a Lion Inves, slashing before it went back to me. A Yagi Inves tried to gore me, but I blocked with my weapons and I skid back several meters before we stopped, I pushed the Yagi Inves back and slashed it with my weapons while projections of the Star Fruit were projected out, making sparks fly. "Let's see you try to avoid this!" I said before slicing the Lockseed twice.
SOIYA! CARAMBOLA AU LAIT!
My Carambola Stars glowed with yellow energy before I threw it at the Yagi and Lion Inves. The aura surrounded them then changed into giant star fruit slice projections that cut through their bodies with ease. My weapons then went on and cut through the ranks of Elementary Inves.
Not that I planned it, but I'm thankful for that," I muttered as I caught my weapons.
"Hey how come you got cooler weapons than me?!" Ryugen whined.
"Is this really the time to whine about that?" I sweat dropped.
"I'm not letting you one–up me!" Ryugen said before taking out his Kiwi Lockseed and took out a new one.
AVOCADO!
It was the new Avocado Lockseed I gave him. The Avocado Armor Parts dropped down from the crack above Ryugen and he switched his Kiwi Lockseed with it.
LOCK ON!
After securing the Lockseed to the Driver, he sliced it open. The core image depicted cut up avocado flesh complete with its big seed while the lower image showed an avocado–themed katar, a gauntlet blade from India.
HAI! AVOCADO ARMS! SPEED, KATAR, SEIYA–HA!
The metal avocado descended down on his shoulders before it disassembled. He had curved shoulder armor like Zangetsu's, a green chest plate the color of avocado flesh with a. brown center, and has a helmet attachment like avocado skin with an avocado stem on the top. He also had small decorations like Zangetsu's Melo Kabuto, and green visor like avocado flesh with brown center. His weapon were avocado slice like Katars so I will name them the AvoKatars.
"Alright, now this is more like it!" Ryugen said satisfied looking at himself.
Readying his AvoKatars, Ryugen blitzed in fast at a Byakko Inves. He punched his blade at its chest before following up with an uppercut that sent the Inves reeling. Ryugen let out a battle cry as he landed hit after hit using his expertise in Kenpo and with a double punch, the Inves was sent rolling on the ground painfully.
"How did you like that?!" he taunted at the recovering Inves. The Byakko growled as it got up. "Oh you want more? Then I'll give you more!" Ryugen said before slicing the Lockseed once.
HAI~! AVOCADO SQUASH!
Energy focused into the right AvoKatar before he ran at the Inves and buried the energized weapon at its gut, causing a green energy shockwave ripple on impact, sending the Byakko Inves flying before exploding in a fiery blaze.
"Oh yeah! I'm good!" Ryugen crowed.
"Oi, this isn't a competition y'know." I said.
"Who cares?! My new Arms is awesome!" Ryugen boasted.
"Hey, mind if I join the party?" Baron asked as he took off his Mango Lockseed and opened up a new one.
BREADFRUIT!
The Breadfruit Armor Parts descended from the Crack above Baron's head. On a glance, it looked similar to the Durian Armor Parts, but it was different if I looked closer. The Armor Parts is more ovular with pale yellow trims and it has more spikes and were smaller. Baron swapped the Mango Lockseed with the Breadfruit Lockseed before cutting it open, revealing the core image which showed the sliced breadfruit and the lower image showed a pair of swords in the shape of a breadfruit slice.
LOCK ON!
COME ON! BREADFRUIT ARMS! SOLDIER OF SWORD~!
The Breadfruit Armor Parts then landed on Baron's shoulders and disassembled. The front parts flipped down, revealing a spiky green chest plate with yellow trims that divided the chest plate giving the look of a man's pectoral and abdominal muscle. The back parts also flipped down and grayed out. The top split in two and each halves folded down with the side parts in half to become Baron's shoulder armor. The helmet attachment was green with small spikes with more prominent spikes on the sides while a short brown stem was on the top. His visor was now white and the armor generated a white 'juice' splash as the Arms Weapon appeared in his hands, the Breadfruit Blades.
"Alright, you jive–turkeys, let's see how you handle this!" Baron as he charged at the Inves. He sliced them and each produced an energy wave in the form of a slice of breadfruit. A Seiryuu and Hekija Inves tried to double team Baron, but he was able to block the attacks with his swords and pushed them back before slicing them. "Aw, you ungroovy cats are asking for it now!" Baron said before slicing the Lockseed thrice.
COME ON! BREADFRUIT SPARKING!
The Breadfruit Blade lit up in a white aura. Baron then slashed his weapons at them, causing the aura to elongate and strike the Inves, sending out breadfruit slices everywhere. The Seiryuu and the Hekija Inves fell over and their bodies exploded in a fiery blaze.
"Oh yeah! That's what I call groovy," smirked Baron.
"Nice one!" I praised.
"You're mine!" I heard Kayuu shout before I turned and saw her about to bring down her axe. I managed to block with my Carambola Stars in time. "If you want to get through the Shisui Pass, you'll have to go through me!"
"I'm all for it!" I retorted as I pushed her back. "Once we take over this pass, we'll do the same to Hulao Pass, and Tōtaku will pay for her crimes!"
"You know nothing about Tōtaku–sama!" Kayuu shouted, charging at me again.
"Oh yeah!?" I retorted as I threw the Carambola Stars at her. Kayuu knocked them away with her Axe and I drew my Musou Saber and parried her attack. "What is there to know about her? She caused more turmoil in this already unstable land! I won't let her to do as she pleases anymore!"
"SHUT UP! You don't know anything!" She screamed and tried to attack me again, but her attack was deflected by the Green Dragon Crescent Blade.
"Aisha!" I called to her.
"Please leave her to me, Gaim–sama," said Aisha as she pushed Kayuu away. "You should take care of the Inves."
"Wakatta!" I nodded and shot a parting word to her. "Be careful Aisha!"
"Very well," she smiled at me briefly before turning to Kayuu with a frown on her face. "You must be Kayuu of Tōtaku Army."
"Who are you supposed to be?" Kayuu frowned.
"I am Kan'u Unchou! First vassal to the Messenger of Heaven, Kurogasa Kururugi! Wielder of the Green Dragon Crescent Blade!"
"So you are the famous Kan'u Unchou," stated Kayuu with a smirk. "Heh, looks like you're going to be added to the list of people we'll defeat."
"You talk big. Let us see if you can back up your words!" Replied Aisha, readying her weapon.
"Bring it on!" Roared Kayuu as she charged.
Kayuu blocked a quick swing from Aisha's Green Dragon Blade and retaliated with a swift chop which my general dodged easily. I rushed in at Kayuu and swung my Musou Saber at her and she dodged to the side hurriedly, but I quickly followed up with several slashes which she blocked with some difficulty. She parried one of my attacks and was ready to counter when Aisha blitzed in, forcing Kayuu to dodge or she would lose her head. Our silver haired adversary growled angrily and charged at us with a roar.
"JUST DIE!"
Aisha and I dodged to the side and I pulled the yellow tab on my Musou Saber, firing at Kayuu. She dodged, but was forced to enter Aisha's range. My general didn't waste time to attack, raining several slashes that Kayuu had to block. Aisha slashed horizontally at her before quickly following up with a diagonal uppercut and finishing her a powerful spinning backhand slash that knocked Kayuu backwards several steps. I came from her behind with my Musou Saber and Daidaimaru ready.
"Kurae!" I shouted, slashing my weapons at her.
Kayuu gritted her teeth as she was forced to block my attack with the shaft of her halberd. She parried my Daidaimaru to the side, but my Musou Saber was already poised to attack her. She tilted her head to the side, but I managed to cut her cheek and some of her locks. She froze when she registered the hit and I kicked her stomach as she was distracted.
"Got ya," I said.
"Ergh…" Kayuu gritted as she dropped her weapon and fell to her knees, holding her stomach in pain.
"Gaim–sama, let's finish her now!" Aisha said.
"No," I replied. "We need her alive."
"Why do you need her alive? She is an enemy general!" she demanded.
"I have some questions for her, namely how she got a Lockseed on her," I replied as I gazed at Kayuu.
"Don't…" Kayuu growled as she stood up shakily with her weapon. She glared at me and Aisha defiantly. "Don't think you've won already! I'm not going down here!"
"Just give it up, Kayuu!" I said.
"Never!" she replied immediately as she held her Lockseed. "Attack Gaim!" But before she could do anything else, I shot her Lockseed with the Musou Saber and destroyed it cleanly.
"What?!" Kayuu gasped.
"Care to surrender now?" I asked, pointing Daidaimaru at her throat.
"I'm not surrendering!" Kayuu yelled as she tried to strangle me, but Aisha jabbed her diaphragm with the butt of her weapon before whacking the blunt side of her weapon on Kayuu's neck. The silver haired woman fell over, unconscious.
"Thanks for the help, Aisha," I said to her.
"It is no problem, Gaim–sama," she replied.
I then looked to the enemy army who were in shock to see that their General has fallen. "Your General has fallen!" I shouted. Lower your weapons and surrender your Lockseeds to us now!"
"You heard him! Lower your weapons now!" Aisha demanded.
One by one, the enemy army dropped their weapons and the ones using their Lockseeds, closed them up making the portals close up too before they dropped them as well.
"Aisha, round and tie them up. They will become our prisoner of war," I said to her
"As you wish," Aisha bowed in reply as she gather her men to tie the surrendering soldiers.
After tying the surrendering soldiers and Kayuu, we took all of the, m back to the alliance camp. Out of the 8,000 soldiers me and the Riders have, we lost about 2,750 soldiers. The other factions didn't lose as much, maybe only in the few hundred or so. As for the Tōtaku Army, they lost about 22,800 soldiers when they surrendered.
As of now, the Riders and I along with the leaders and strategists met up in the main tent for a war council.
"That was unexpected," said Koji, opening the meeting.
"I know. I never thought that the Tōtaku Army would get their hands on Lockseeds," I sighed in reply. "How did they get them anyway?"
"Better question, who gave them?" added Souji–sempai, frowning. "We all know that Lockseeds can only be harvested in one place and only we Riders have access to enter it."
"If that's the case, then…" Daigo trailed off, not liking the conclusion already.
"…A Rider is working with the enemy," I finished with a scowl.
"There are other Riders beside yourselves?" Sonsaku questioned.
"There are. I just hope they aren't who we think they are." I answered.
"They who?" Sousou asked.
"There are several other Riders out there beside us. Four other Sengoku Riders and three Genesis Riders," explained sempai. "The distinction is made from the belts we wear. The Sengoku Riders use the Sengoku Driver like the one we have with us while the Genesis Riders use the Genesis Driver."
"What is the difference between the two belts?" asked Sonken curiously.
"Sengoku Drivers work with the standard Lockseeds while the Genesis Driver uses special and powerful Lockseeds called Energy Lockseeds. Like their name, Energy Lockseeds produce more energy and create more powerful armor. Their Energy Arms is more powerful than any Arms we have," I answered before I looked at sempai curiously. "Sempai, do you have your own Genesis Driver and Melon Energy Lockseed?"
He nodded and pulled out his Genesis Driver. It was red with one lever on a fixed position on the left side and a pushable lever on the right side. The core was located in the center of the Driver with several transparent pipes going from it and a small glass jar was located right under the core. He also pulled out another Lockseed. It had a clear body with a slightly bulky side and has the image of cantaloupe on the front. The code written on it was E.L.S – 04.
"This belt is the Genesis Driver," Souji–sempai said, gesturing to the Driver before gesturing to the Energy Lockseed. "And this Lockseed is an example of an Energy Lockseed, the Melon Energy Lockseed."
"It looks different from the other Lockseeds." Sonsaku said.
"That's because… the Energy Lockseeds are man–made." I said.
"Man–made you say?" Inquired a curious Sousou.
Koji nodded. "With the right technology and tools, it is possible to replicate the Lockseed and make them more powerful."
"But since this era is way behind ours, I don't think it is possible now," finished Daigo.
"Also, these Energy Lockseeds are by default, S–Rank Lockseeds. More powerful than the Lockseeds we have now." I added.
"Hmm…" Sousou said interested.
"May we see a demonstration of this new power?" Sonsaku asked.
"I don't see why not." Souji–sempai shrugged. "You might wanna back up a bit and give me room."
They all followed his suggestion and sempai stood up. He strapped the Genesis Driver and a silver metallic belt wrapped around his waist. He unlocked the Melon Energy Lockseed as he uttered, "Henshin."
MELON ENERGY!
The familiar techno tune played as a Crack opened above his head and the Melon Energy Armor Parts descended. It looked like Melon Arms, but with extra orange panels on it. Sempai placed the Lockseed into the Driver's Core and locked it in place.
LOCK… ON!
There was a low humming, pulsating sound before he pushed the Seaboll Compressor to open the Lockseed. Unlike the standard Lockseed, the cantaloupe image split in three to reveal its core, based from the image of a cantaloupe slice.
SODA!
Orange 'juice's flowed through the transparent pipes called the Vascular Duct to the glass jar known as the Concentrate Pod, filling it up until it is full.
MELON ENERGY ARMS!
The rest of the techno music played as the Melon Energy Arms fell on top of his head and energy rippled to form his bodysuit which was the same as his original one but with black sides on the torso. Then the Melon Energy Arms opened to reveal his helmet while folding into pieces of his armor. The chest piece had the same color skin as a melon with orange plating on the right side and his personal emblem on the left side. A large orange pauldron was on his right shoulder and his visor was orange with black pointed trim.
With a splash of an orange 'juice', a red futuristic bow, known as the Sonic Arrow appeared in his hand.
"Zangetsu Shin, on stage!" declared sempai as he twirled the Sonic Arrow.
"Ara!" said Sonsaku as she examined Zangetsu Shin closer. "It sure looks amazing!"
"It not just looks amazing, but it's really strong and very versatile too," I replied. "Because Energy Lockseeds use all of its power to form the Arms armor, it doesn't have a personal Arms to compensate for that, all Energy Arms come with a side weapon called the Sonic Arrow which doubles as both a melee and ranged weapon."
"I only use this suit as a trump card because of its power," added Zangetsu Shin–sempai.
"Hmmmmmmmm…" said Sousou as sempai closed the Lockseed and went back to civilian form.
"Well, it most certainly would give us an edge." Sonken commented.
"True, but until my Sengoku Driver is rendered useless, I will not use the Genesis Driver." Sempai said.
"I suppose so." Sonsaku shrugged.
"Well in any case, now that we've taken over Shisui Pass, we'll have our entire army move into the Pass's fortress. We'll resupply with what supplies our enemies had and we'll continue onto Hulao Pass once we let our soldiers rest." I suggested.
"Got it," sempai nodded.
"We'll plan our attack on Hulao Pass after a one hour break. Until then, you are dismissed," I said to them as the other warlords nodded and left the tent. I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair looking over the map. Just one more pass and we'll get to Luoyang in no time. And Tōtaku will finally face justice.
Well there you have it folks! Another chapter of Kamen Rider Gaim: Romance of the Three Kingdoms! The Shisui Pass is now in the hands of the Anti–Tōtaku Alliance and we get to see some new Arms! Again, I apologize for this chapter to come out so late. Anyways, thanks for reading and review!
