Chapter: 7

*Ethan's P.O.V.*

I didn't know what to do with myself anymore, Lena ditched me and kicked me out her house, I sat on my bed staring at the ceiling.
Link poured himself onto a chair by the window as we both tried to regain our breaths.
"Your girlfriend is going to be the death of us."
"Yeah," I mutter.
I hear stomping up the stairs and wonder what Amma is going to preach to us, but she barges through the door, and I see Liv walk in.
"You have a visitor," Amma says. "Now you better be careful and don't do anything stupid."
"Alright Amma," I smile, and then she closes the door.
Liv has her blonde hair in pigtails, while holding a book across her chest.
"What's wrong Liv?" I ask.
"I just wanted to come and say hi," She says. "Well not really, it's just that Marian was in the Caster Library, and she heard people walking through it."
I sit up in my bed. "Well it has to be a Caster." I say. "Nobody else can get in there."
"Well it wasn't just anybody," Liv breathes. "It was Lena, and she was with another guy down there. They were talking about a club down there, to relax Lena."
"I think the guys name is John," I sigh. "And he doesn't have a good impression on Lena."
"Why do you say that?" Liv asks.
"Because," I begin. "I was trying to talk to Lena but then she throws me out of her house with her powers."
"Well get up," Liv says. "We can go find her if she's still in those tunnels. I brought a map to help us."
I get up and grab the map from her. "Doesn't the tunnels open up on certain days though? How are we going to get inside?"
Liv pulls the map away from me, and opens it up. She points at a diagram that represents Ravenwood Manor. "There's an entry inside Lena's house." Liv says. "I don't know where in the house it is, but it's somewhere in there, and we can use it to get inside like they did."
Link sits up in his chair, clearly feeling left out of the conversation.
"It'll be like robbing a house," Link compares. "This is gonna be so cool."
"What if they have Caster barriers surrounding the house though, so no one can get in?" Liv asks.
"Macon died," I say. "There isn't a Caster right now that can seal off the house, so I think it'll be ok for us to get inside."
"Well lets do it!" Link jumps up. "We're taking my car c'mon."

*Liv's P.O.V.*

Link pulls up past the gates and we park in a dirt road right in the front of the gate.
Ethan and Link get out the car and then they close the gates behind themselves. I walk up the dirt road, looking at the trees that sit on the sides of the road. there seems to be different paths that can lead you to different places. Ravenwood Manor was like a maze of its own.
"Do you know your way around these parts?" I ask Ethan.
He walks past me and says: "This way."
After about three minutes we make it to the front of the house, there were boards covering all of the windows, and vines hanging off of the roof. This was my first time being here, and I could feel dark power surging through the very grains of dirt on the road.
"Are you sure the tunnels are in this area?" Ethan asks.
I hold up the map in answer. "The only thing is," I begin. "It doesn't say exactly where the tunnel is, it just says it's somewhere in this area."
"Then we'll split up," Link was rubbing his hands together.
"Great," Ethan replies. "Then you search outside since you called it, and Liv and I will go inside."
"That's not fair," Link whines. "It's too hot out here to look for a tunnel."
"Too bad," Ethan and I walk up to the front door, and we push them open.
I was surprised to see that the house looked more elegant on the inside than it does on the outside. The doors close behind us, and we walk down the halls. A pyramid of suitcases were in a corner, and there was a circular staircase leading up to the top of the house.
"Let's go upstairs," I insist.
Ethan leads me up the stairs until we're in another hallway.
Then we walk into Lena's room, the sheets were purple and there was writing all over the walls.
"Lena likes poetry," Ethan sighs.
"I can see," I run my hand along a poem from an artist I do not know of.
Ethan looks hurt, so I escort him out of the room.
"No tunnel in there," I smile shyly.
He shakes his head and we walk towards another room. "This is Macon's room."
I push open the door, and see that the bed was hanging on its side.
It seems to be half in the floor and half in the room.
Ethan and I go over and inspect it, hoping the floor wouldn't fall in on us. But as we approach the bed, I see lights down the tunnels and realize that the tunnels are hiding in Macon's room
"Get Link!"
