The three men were silently making their way out of the kitchen. They didn't want the three girls to know the previous scene had unfolded before their very amused eyes. Klaus definitely didn't want to embarrass Bonnie by letting her know he had scene the whole banana incident.

After gathering in the parlor, Klaus went straight to the liquor. He poured himself a glass of bourbon and drank it down in one gulp. H seemed deep in thought. Damon and Stefan waited for him to speak.

Finally, Klaus simply stated: "I know that I don't deserve Bonnie. I know I have done some outright evil things to her." He hung his head and whispered, "How will she ever be able to forgive me?"

Stefan looked at Damon with wide eyes. How do they tell Klaus that Bonnie may not forgive him, but he would have to try to tell her how he felt.

Klaus had changed so much since that evening months ago when he showed up on their doorstep. He no longer had any manic moments of wanting to kill everyone is sight. He actually had their backs in case any danger would befall one of them and they trusted him to do just that. Klaus turned to look at Damon. "What do you think?" "What should I say to her?"

Damon stated matter of factly, "Fuck, dude. You know I would be hittin that if I wasn't in love with Elena."

Stefan punched him in the shoulder.

"Seriously, Klaus", said Damon seriously now, "You won't know until you try and even I can see you've changed."

Klaus stood there for a moment and the only sound in the room was the crackling of the fire. Eventually a mischievous smile appeared on his face. "Excuse me, but I'm about to give Bonnie Bennett the most amazing night of her life." And he sauntered out of the room
