For those who read my story, Forgot to Remember: What if Juvia lost her memories instead of Gray?

7. Forgot to Remember Reverse

The rhythmic sound that came from oxygen machine beside her, made Juvia fell calm in an odd way. She was used to hospitals. She was an ice skater, she had more than her own couple of hospital visits. Her vision was blurry, but the familiar smell of disinfectant and bleach, let her know where she was. The drops from the IV was enough to placate her nervousness as she waited for her vision to focus.

She clasped her hands together on her lap, feeling the touch texture of the white hospital blanket she had oddly become used to. Or at least she hoped it was white—Juvia didn't believe that the hospital would change much from what it used to be.

The eerie sound in her ears soon soothed out, and her eyes cleared up—proving her right; the blankets were white, and so was the hospital gown she wore. Her blue hair tickled the sides of her face, and as she touched it, she realized she probably had a rats nest.

"Just give her time, Gray. It will be—"

"But Lucy, it's been so long—"

Juvia jumped at the sound of voices as three walked into the room. They stopped speaking once they noticed her. One of them was a girl, blonde long hair, chocolate brown eyes. She was wearing clothes that reminded her of her middle school teacher. The guy on her left had salmon color hair, and for some odd reason, he was wearing a scarf. The other man, the one with black hair and piercing black eyes, wore a simple T-shirt and jeans, but it looked really good on him.

"J-juvia!" The blonde girl—Lucy, the only girl name—ran towards her side. Her eyes were ready, and she was looking at Juvia like she had just survived a death worse than hell.

"I knew you wouldn't the down for long," the salmon haired guy smiled widely—relief clear in his eyes.

She was patted down, her cheeks were kissed by Lucy, and she was hugged by the two. The man in black hair approached her, as if she would disappear if he made any rash movement.

"Juvia…" he reached for her, his hands felt oddly warm on hers. His eyes looked misty—he was holding himself back from crying.

"We thought you'd never—oh god." Lucy sobbed as she brought Juvia in for another hug.

Juvia kept her arms awkwardly to her sides, not sure what to do. Sensing her discomfort, Lucy pulled away.

"Is something wrong?" she asked.

Juvia gave them a worried look. They seemed nice, she didn't want to disappoint them. She looked down at the hand the man with the black hair had clasped with hers. She looked back at him, and looking into those smoldering black eyes, she knew she needed to know.

"I'm sorry," she said softly. "Who are you?"
